Das Evangelium nach Matthäus

Kapitel 18

1 Zu1722 derselbigen Stunde5610 traten die Jünger3101 zu4334 JEsus2424 und sprachen3004: Wer ist2076 doch686 der1565 Größte3187 im1722 Himmelreich932?

2 JEsus2424 rief ein Kind3813 zu1722 sich4341 und2532 stellete das846 mitten3319 unter sie2476

3 und2532 sprach2036: Wahrlich281, ich sage3004 euch5213, es sei denn3362, daß ihr euch umkehret4762 und2532 werdet1096 wie5613 die Kinder3813, so werdet ihr nicht3364 ins1519 Himmelreich932 kommen1525.

4 Wer nun3767 sich selbst1438 niedriget wie5613 dies5124 Kind3813, der3748 ist2076 der3778 Größte3187 im1722 Himmelreich932.

5 Und2532 wer1437 ein solches5108 Kind3813 aufnimmt1209 in meinem3450 Namen3686, der1520 nimmt mich1691 auf1909.

6 Wer302 aber1161 ärgert4624 dieser5130 Geringsten3398 einen1520, die an1519 mich1691 glauben4100, dem3588 wäre besser, daß2443 ein Mühlstein an1722 seinen846 Hals5137 gehänget, und2532 er846 ersäuft würde im1909 Meer3989, da es am tiefsten ist4851.

7 Wehe3759 der1565 Welt2889 der3739 Ärgernisse4625 halben1063! Es muß2076 ja318 Ärgernis4625 kommen2064; doch4133 wehe3759 dem575 Menschen444, durch welchen Ärgernis4625 kommt2064!

8 So aber1161 deine Hand5495 oder2228 dein4675 Fuß4228 dich4671 ärgert4624, so haue1581 ihn846 ab1581 und2532 wirf906 ihn von575 dir4675. Es ist2076 dir4675 besser2570, daß du zum1519 Leben2222 lahm2948 oder2228 als ein1525 Krüppel5560 eingehest, denn1487 daß du zwo Hände5495 oder2228 zwei1417 Füße4228 habest2192 und2228 werdest in1519 das ewige166 Feuer4442 geworfen906.

9 Und2532 so dich4571 dein4675 Auge3788 ärgert4624, reiß1807 es846 aus1807 und2532 wirf‘s906 von575 dir4675. Es ist2076 dir4671 besser2570, daß du einäugig3442 zum1519 Leben2222 eingehest1525, denn1487 daß du zwei1417 Augen3788 habest2192 und2228 werdest in1519 das höllische1067 Feuer4442 geworfen906.

10 Sehet991 zu3708, daß3754 ihr846 nicht3361 jemand1520 von diesen5130 Kleinen3398 verachtet2706! Denn1063 ich sage3004 euch5213: Ihre Engel32 im1722 Himmel3772 sehen allezeit das3956 Angesicht4383 meines3450 Vaters3962 im Himmel3588.

11 Denn1063 des Menschen444 Sohn ist622 kommen2064, selig zu machen4982, was3588 verloren ist.

12 Was5101 dünket euch5213? Wenn irgendein Mensch444 hundert1540 Schafe4263 hätte1096, und2532 eins1520 unter1537 denselbigen sich5100 verirrete, läßt863 er846 nicht3780 die neunundneunzig1768 auf1909 den Bergen3735, gehet hin4198 und suchet2212 das3588 verirrte4105?

13 Und2532 so1437 sich‘s begibt1096, daß3754 er846‘s findet2147, wahrlich281, ich sage3004 euch5463, er846 freuet sich darüber1909 mehr3123 denn2228 über1909 die3588 neunundneunzig1768, die nicht3361 verirret sind4105.

14 Also3779 auch ist‘s2076 vor1715 eurem5216 Vater3962 im1722 Himmel3772 nicht3756 der3588 Wille2307, daß2443 jemand1520 von diesen5130 Kleinen3398 verloren werde622

15 Sündiget264 aber1161 dein4675 Bruder80 an1519 dir4675, so1437 gehe5217 hin und2532 strafe1651 ihn zwischen3342 dir4675 und2532 ihm846 allein3441. Höret191 er846 dich4571, so1437 hast du deinen4675 Bruder80 gewonnen2770.

16 Höret191 er dich nicht3362, so1161 nimm3880 noch2089 einen1520 oder2228 zwei1417 zu191 dir4675, auf1909 daß2443 alle3956 Sache4487 bestehe2476 auf zweier1417 oder2228 dreier5140 Zeugen3144 Mund4750.

17 Höret er846 die nicht3878, so1437 sage2036 es der Gemeinde1577. Höret er die Gemeinde1577 nicht3878, so2532 halt2077 ihn4671 als5618 einen Heiden1482 und1161 Zöllner5057.

18 Wahrlich281, ich sage3004 euch5213: Was1437 ihr auf Erden1093 binden1210 werdet1210, soll auch im1909 Himmel3772 gebunden sein2071, und2532 was1437 ihr auf Erden1093 lösen werdet3089, soll auch im Himmel3772 los3089 sein2071.

19 Weiter3825 sage3004 ich euch5213: Wo1437 zwei1417 unter1722 euch3754 eins werden4856 auf Erden1093, warum es ist, das3956 sie846 bitten154 wollen, das1437 soll ihnen widerfahren1096 von4012 meinem3450 Vater3962 im1909 Himmel3588.

20 Denn1063 wo3757 zwei1417 oder2228 drei5140 versammelt4863 sind1526 in1519 meinem1699 Namen3686, da1563 bin1510 ich mitten3319 unter1722 ihnen846.

21 Da5119 trat Petrus4074 zu4334 ihm846 und2532 sprach2036: HErr2962, wie oft4212 muß ich1691 denn meinem Bruder80, der846 an1519 mir3450 sündiget264, vergeben863? Ist‘s genug2193 siebenmal2034?

22 JEsus2424 sprach3004 zu2193 ihm846: Ich sage3004 dir4671, nicht3756 siebenmal2193, sondern235 siebenzigmal siebenmal2034.

23 Darum ist3666 das5124 Himmelreich932 gleich einem444 Könige935, der3739 mit3326 seinen Knechten1401 rechnen4868 wollte2309.

24 Und1161 als er846 anfing756 zu rechnen4868, kam4374 ihm846 einer vor, der1520 war ihm846 zehntausend3463 Pfund5007 schuldig3781.

25 Da2532 er846‘s nun nicht3361 hatte2192 zu bezahlen591, hieß2753 der Herr2962 verkaufen4097 ihn und1161 sein Weib1135 und2532 seine846 Kinder5043 und2532 alles3956, was3745 er hatte2192, und2532 bezahlen591.

26 Da3767 fiel4098 der Knecht1401 nieder und2532 betete4352 ihn846 an1909 und sprach3004: Herr2962, habe Geduld3114 mit mir1698! Ich will dir4671‘s alles3956 bezahlen591.

27 Da jammerte4697 den Herrn2962 desselbigen Knechts und1161 ließ630 ihn los, und2532 die1565 Schuld1156 erließ863 er846 ihm auch2532.

28 Da ging derselbige Knecht1401 hinaus1831 und1161 fand2147 einen1520 seiner846 Mitknechte4889, der1565 war3784 ihm846 hundert1540 Groschen1220 schuldig3784. Und er846 griff2902 ihn an und würgete ihn und sprach3004: Bezahle591 mir3427, was3739 du mir schuldig bist!

29 Da3767 fiel4098 sein846 Mitknecht4889 nieder1519 und2532 bat3870 ihn846 und sprach3004: Habe Geduld3114 mit1909 mir1698! Ich846 will dir4671‘s alles3956 bezahlen591.

30 Er846 wollte2309 aber1161 nicht3756, sondern235 ging565 hin und warf906 ihn ins1519 Gefängnis5438, bis2193 daß er bezahlete, was er schuldig war3784.

31 Da aber1161 seine846 Mitknechte4889 solches1096 sahen1492, wurden1096 sie sehr4970 betrübt3076 und2532 kamen2064 und brachten1285 vor ihren Herrn2962 alles3956, was sich848 begeben hatte.

32 Da5119 forderte ihn846 sein846 Herr2962 vor sich4341 und sprach3004 zu ihm846: Du Schalksknecht4190! Alle3956 diese1565 Schuld3782 habe ich dir4671 erlassen863, dieweil1893 du mich3165 batest3870;

33 solltest1163 du4571 denn2532 dich4571 nicht3756 auch2532 erbarmen1653 über deinen4675 Mitknecht4889, wie5613 ich1473 mich über dich1653 erbarmet habe?

34 Und2532 sein Herr2962 ward zornig3710 und überantwortete ihn den Peinigern930, bis2193 daß er846 bezahlete alles3956, was er846 ihm846 schuldig3784 war3860.

35 Also wird euch5213 mein3450 himmlischer2032 Vater3962 auch2532 tun4160, so3779 ihr846 nicht3362 vergebet863 von575 eurem5216 Herzen2588, ein jeglicher1538 seinem Bruder80 seine Fehle.

Matthew

Chapter 18

1 AT that very hour the disciples came up to Jesus and said, Who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 So Jesus called a little boy, and made him to stand up in the midst of them,

3 And he said, Truly I say to you, Unless you change and become like little boys, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whoever therefore will humble himself like this little boy, shall be great in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And he who will welcome one like this little boy, in my name, welcomes me.

6 And whoever misleads one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for him that an ass' millstone were hanged on his neck and he were sunk in the depths of the sea.

7 Woe to the world because of offences! Offences are bound to come; but woe to the man by whose hand the offences come!

8 If your hand or your foot offends you, cut it off and throw it away from you; for it is much better for you to go through life lamed or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, and fall into the everlasting fire.

9 And if your eye offends you, remove it and throw it away from you; it is better for you to go through life with one eye, rather than having two eyes and fall into the gehenna of fire.

10 See to it that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say to you, their angels always see the face of my Father in heaven.

11 For the Son of man has come to save what was lost.

12 What do you think? If a man should have a hundred sheep, and one of them is lost, would he not leave the ninety and nine on the mountain, and go in search of the one which is lost?

13 And if he should find it, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety and nine which were not lost.

14 Even so, your Father in heaven does not want one of these little ones to be lost.

15 Now then, if your brother is at fault with you, go and rebuke him alone; if he listens to you, then you have won your brother.

16 But if he will not listen to you, take one or two with you, because at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word is sustained.

17 And if he will not listen to them, tell the congregation; and if he will not listen to the congregation, then regard him as a publican and a heathen.

18 Truly I say to you, Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will be released in heaven.

19 Again I say to you, that if two of you are worthy on earth, anything that they would ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

20 For wherever two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.

21 Then Peter came up and said to him, My Lord, if my brother is at fault with me, how many times should I forgive him? up to seven times?

22 Jesus said to him, I do not say to you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is likened to a king who wanted to take an accounting from his servants.

24 And when he began to take the accounting, they brought to him one who owed ten thousand talents.

25 And as he could not pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, together with his wife and children, and all that he had, so that he could pay.

26 The servant then fell down, worshipped him, and said, My lord, have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.

27 Then the master of that servant had pity, so he released him, and cancelled his debt.

28 But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow-servants, who owed him one hundred cents; and he seized him, and tried to choke him, saying to him, Give me what you owe me.

29 So his fellow-servant fell down at his feet, and begged him and said, Have patience with me, and I will pay you.

30 But he was not willing; and he went and had him put into prison, until he should pay him what he owed him.

31 When their fellow-servants saw what had happened, they were very sorry, and they came and en_lbp_informed their master of everything that had happened.

32 Then his master called him and said to him, O wicked servant, I cancelled all your debt because you begged me.

33 Was it not right for you to have mercy on your fellow-servant, just as I had mercy on you?

34 So his master was angry, and delivered him to the scourgers, until he should pay everything he owed him.

35 So will my Father in heaven do to you, if you do not forgive each man his brother's fault from your heart.

17 Höret er846 die nicht3878, so1437 sage2036 es der Gemeinde1577. Höret er die Gemeinde1577 nicht3878, so2532 halt2077 ihn4671 als5618 einen Heiden1482 und1161 Zöllner5057.

17 And if he will not listen to them, tell the congregation; and if he will not listen to the congregation, then regard him as a publican and a heathen.

18 Wahrlich281, ich sage3004 euch5213: Was1437 ihr auf Erden1093 binden1210 werdet1210, soll auch im1909 Himmel3772 gebunden sein2071, und2532 was1437 ihr auf Erden1093 lösen werdet3089, soll auch im Himmel3772 los3089 sein2071.

18 Truly I say to you, Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will be released in heaven.

19 Weiter3825 sage3004 ich euch5213: Wo1437 zwei1417 unter1722 euch3754 eins werden4856 auf Erden1093, warum es ist, das3956 sie846 bitten154 wollen, das1437 soll ihnen widerfahren1096 von4012 meinem3450 Vater3962 im1909 Himmel3588.

19 Again I say to you, that if two of you are worthy on earth, anything that they would ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

20 For wherever two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.

21 Da5119 trat Petrus4074 zu4334 ihm846 und2532 sprach2036: HErr2962, wie oft4212 muß ich1691 denn meinem Bruder80, der846 an1519 mir3450 sündiget264, vergeben863? Ist‘s genug2193 siebenmal2034?

21 Then Peter came up and said to him, My Lord, if my brother is at fault with me, how many times should I forgive him? up to seven times?

22 JEsus2424 sprach3004 zu2193 ihm846: Ich sage3004 dir4671, nicht3756 siebenmal2193, sondern235 siebenzigmal siebenmal2034.

22 Jesus said to him, I do not say to you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

23 Darum ist3666 das5124 Himmelreich932 gleich einem444 Könige935, der3739 mit3326 seinen Knechten1401 rechnen4868 wollte2309.

28 Da ging derselbige Knecht1401 hinaus1831 und1161 fand2147 einen1520 seiner846 Mitknechte4889, der1565 war3784 ihm846 hundert1540 Groschen1220 schuldig3784. Und er846 griff2902 ihn an und würgete ihn und sprach3004: Bezahle591 mir3427, was3739 du mir schuldig bist!

28 But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow-servants, who owed him one hundred cents; and he seized him, and tried to choke him, saying to him, Give me what you owe me.

29 Da3767 fiel4098 sein846 Mitknecht4889 nieder1519 und2532 bat3870 ihn846 und sprach3004: Habe Geduld3114 mit1909 mir1698! Ich846 will dir4671‘s alles3956 bezahlen591.

29 So his fellow-servant fell down at his feet, and begged him and said, Have patience with me, and I will pay you.

30 Er846 wollte2309 aber1161 nicht3756, sondern235 ging565 hin und warf906 ihn ins1519 Gefängnis5438, bis2193 daß er bezahlete, was er schuldig war3784.

30 But he was not willing; and he went and had him put into prison, until he should pay him what he owed him.

31 Da aber1161 seine846 Mitknechte4889 solches1096 sahen1492, wurden1096 sie sehr4970 betrübt3076 und2532 kamen2064 und brachten1285 vor ihren Herrn2962 alles3956, was sich848 begeben hatte.

31 When their fellow-servants saw what had happened, they were very sorry, and they came and en_lbp_informed their master of everything that had happened.

32 Da5119 forderte ihn846 sein846 Herr2962 vor sich4341 und sprach3004 zu ihm846: Du Schalksknecht4190! Alle3956 diese1565 Schuld3782 habe ich dir4671 erlassen863, dieweil1893 du mich3165 batest3870;

32 Then his master called him and said to him, O wicked servant, I cancelled all your debt because you begged me.

33 solltest1163 du4571 denn2532 dich4571 nicht3756 auch2532 erbarmen1653 über deinen4675 Mitknecht4889, wie5613 ich1473 mich über dich1653 erbarmet habe?

33 Was it not right for you to have mercy on your fellow-servant, just as I had mercy on you?

34 Und2532 sein Herr2962 ward zornig3710 und überantwortete ihn den Peinigern930, bis2193 daß er846 bezahlete alles3956, was er846 ihm846 schuldig3784 war3860.

34 So his master was angry, and delivered him to the scourgers, until he should pay everything he owed him.

35 Also wird euch5213 mein3450 himmlischer2032 Vater3962 auch2532 tun4160, so3779 ihr846 nicht3362 vergebet863 von575 eurem5216 Herzen2588, ein jeglicher1538 seinem Bruder80 seine Fehle.

35 So will my Father in heaven do to you, if you do not forgive each man his brother's fault from your heart.
