Kapitel 12

1 Zur selbigen Zeit6256 wird der große1419 Fürst8269 Michael4317, der für dein Volk5971 stehet, sich aufmachen. Denn es wird eine solche trübselige6869 Zeit6256 sein1961, als sie1121 nicht gewesen ist3789, seit daß Leute1471 gewesen sind4672, bis auf5975 dieselbige Zeit6256. Zur selbigen Zeit6256 wird dein Volk5971 errettet werden4422, alle, die im Buch5612 geschrieben stehen5975.

2 Und viele7227, so unter der Erde6083 schlafen3463 liegen, werden aufwachen6974, etliche zum ewigen5769 Leben2416, etliche zur ewigen5769 Schmach2781 und Schande1860.

3 Die Lehrer aber werden leuchten2094 wie des Himmels7549 Glanz2096 und die, so viele7227 zur Gerechtigkeit6663 weisen7919, wie die Sterne3556 immer5703 und ewiglich5769.

4 Und5612 nun, Daniel1840, verbirg5640 diese Worte1697 und versiegele diese Schrift bis auf die letzte7093 Zeit6256, so werden viele7235 drüber kommen und großen7227 Verstand1847 finden.

5 Und5975 ich, Daniel1840, sah7200, und siehe, es stunden zween andere312 da, einer259 an2975 diesem2008 Ufer8193 des Wassers2975, der andere259 an jenem Ufer8193.

6 Und906 er sprach559 zu dem in leinenen Kleidern3847, der oben am Wasser4325 stund: Wann will‘s denn ein376 Ende7093 sein mit solchen Wundern6382?

7 Und906 ich5310 hörete zu dem3027 in leinenen Kleidern3847, der oben am Wasser4325 stund; und er2416 hub seine rechte und linke8040 Hand3225 auf7311 gen Himmel4605 und schwur7650 bei dem, so ewiglich5769 lebet, daß es eine Zeit4150 und etliche Zeiten und eine halbe2677 Zeit währen soll3615; und wenn die Zerstreuung des heiligen6944 Volks5971 ein376 Ende3615 hat8085, soll solches alles geschehen.

8 Und ich hörete es: aber ich verstund es nicht und sprach559: Mein Herr113, was wird995 danach319 werden8085?

9 Er aber sprach559: Gehe3212 hin, Daniel1840; denn es1697 ist verborgen5640 und versiegelt2856 bis auf die letzte7093 Zeit6256.

10 Viele7227 werden3835 gereiniget, geläutert6884 und bewähret werden; und die GOttlosen7561 werden gottlos7563 Wesen führen, und die GOttlosen7563 werden‘s nicht995 achten; aber die Verständigen995 werden‘s achten.

11 Und5414 von der Zeit6256 an, wenn das tägliche8548 Opfer abgetan und ein5493 Greuel8251 der Wüstung dargesetzt wird, sind tausend505 zweihundert3967 und neunzig8673 Tage3117:

12 Wohl835 dem, der da erwartet und3967 erreichet tausend505 dreihundert7969 und fünfunddreißig2568 Tage3117!

13 Du aber, Daniel, gehe3212 hin, bis das Ende7093 komme, und5975 ruhe5117, daß du aufstehest in deinem Teil am Ende7093 der Tage3117!

1 AND at that time shall Michael arise, the great angel who has charge over your people; and there shall be a time of trouble such as never has been like it since the beginning of the world; and at that very time some of your people shall be delivered, every one whose name shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 And those who have done good and the men of understanding shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and those who have turned many to righteousness shall shine and stand like stars for ever and ever.

4 But you, O Daniel, seal these words and be silent, and seal this book even to the time of the end; many shall want to know the end, and knowledge shall be increased.

5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two other angels stood one on this side of the bank of the river and the other on that side.

6 And they said to the man clothed in costly array who stood above the waters of the river, How long shall it be till the end of these things?

7 And I heard the man clothed in costly array who stood above the waters of the river. He held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half a time; and when holy people are delivered, all these things shall be fulfilled.

8 And I, Daniel, heard something, but I did not understand; then I said, O my lord, what shall come after these things?

9 And he said, Go your way, Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 Many shall be chosen and made white and tried; but the sinners shall continue to sin; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who have done good works shall understand.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be abolished, and the abomination is given to destruction, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12 Blessed is he who waits and reaches to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

13 But as for you, O Daniel, go your way and rest till the end; then you shall arise at your appointed time, at the end of the days.
