2 Da ward den Gasitern gesagt559: Simson ist hereinkommen. Und8123 sie2790 umgaben5437 ihn und ließen auf ihn lauern693 die ganze Nacht3915 in der Stadt5892 Tor8179; und waren935 die ganze Nacht3915 stille und sprachen559: Harre! Morgen1242, wenn es licht216 wird, wollen wir ihn erwürgen2026.

2 And it was told the Gazites,5841 saying,559 Samson8123 is come935 here. And they compassed5437 him in, and laid wait693 for him all3605 night3915 in the gate8179 of the city,5892 and were quiet2790 all3605 the night,3915 saying,559 In the morning,1242 when5704 it is day,1242 we shall kill2026 him.

5 Zu der kamen der Philister6430 Fürsten5633 hinauf5927 und sprachen559 zu ihr7200: Überrede6601 ihn und besiehe, worinnen er solche große1419 Kraft3581 hat6031, und womit wir ihn ühermögen, daß wir ihn binden631 und zwingen, so wollen wir dir geben5414 ein376 jeglicher tausend und hundert3967 Silberlinge3701.

5 And the lords5633 of the Philistines6430 came5927 up to her, and said559 to her, Entice6601 him, and see7200 wherein4100 his great1419 strength3581 lies, and by what4100 means we may prevail3201 against him, that we may bind631 him to afflict6031 him; and we will give5414 you every376 one376 of us eleven505 3967 hundred3967 pieces of silver.3701

7 Simson sprach559 zu ihr: Wenn man mich bände631 mit sieben7651 Seilen3499 von frischem3892 Bast, die noch nicht verdorret sind2717, so würde ich schwach2470 und8123 wäre wie ein259 anderer Mensch120.

7 And Samson8123 said559 to her, If518 they bind631 me with seven7651 green3892 thongs3499 that were never3808 dried,2717 then shall I be weak,2470 and be as another259 man.120

8 Da brachten der Philister6430 Fürsten5633 zu ihr hinauf5927 sieben7651 Seile von frischem3892 Bast, die noch nicht verdorret waren2717; und3499 sie band631 ihn damit.

8 Then the lords5633 of the Philistines6430 brought5927 up to her seven7651 green3892 thongs3499 which834 had not been dried,2717 and she bound631 him with them.

9 (Man hielt693 aber auf ihn bei ihr3427 in der Kammer2315.) Und3499 sie sprach559 zu ihm8123: Die Philister6430 über dir, Simson! Er aber zerriß5423 die Seile, wie3045 eine flächserne Schnur6616 zerreißet, wenn sie ans Feuer784 reucht; und war nicht kund, wo seine Kraft3581 wäre.

9 Now there were men lying in wait,693 abiding3427 with her in the chamber.2315 And she said559 to him, The Philistines6430 be on you, Samson.8123 And he broke5423 the thongs,3499 as a thread6616 of wick5296 is broken5423 when it touches7306 the fire.784 So his strength3581 was not known.3045

10 Da sprach559 Delila1807 zu Simson: Siehe, du hast1696 mich getäuscht2048 und8123 mir5046 gelogen3577; nun, so sage mir doch, womit kann man dich binden631?

10 And Delilah1807 said559 to Samson,8123 Behold,2009 you have mocked2048 me, and told1696 me lies:3576 now6258 tell5046 me, I pray4994 you, with which4100 you might be bound.631

11 Er antwortete ihr: Wenn sie559 mich bänden631 mit neuen Stricken5688, damit nie keine Arbeit geschehen ist259, so würde6213 ich schwach2470 und wie ein2319 anderer Mensch120.

11 And he said559 to her, If518 they bind631 me fast with new2319 ropes5688 that never3808 were occupied,6213 4399 then shall I be weak,2470 and be as another259 man.120

12 Da nahm3947 Delila1807 neue2319 Stricke5688 und band631 ihn damit und sprach559: Philister6430 über dir, Simson! (Man hielt693 aber auf ihn in der Kammer2315.) — Und er8123 zerriß5423 sie3427 von seinen Armen2220 wie einen Faden2339.

12 Delilah1807 therefore took3947 new2319 ropes,5688 and bound631 him therewith, and said559 to him, The Philistines6430 be on you, Samson.8123 And there were liers in wait693 abiding3427 in the chamber.2315 And he broke5423 them from off5921 his arms2220 like a thread.2339

13 Delila1807 aber sprach559 zu ihm8123: Noch hast1696 du mich getäuscht2048 und707 mir5046 gelogen3577. Lieber, sage mir doch, womit kann man559 dich binden631? Er antwortete ihr: Wenn du sieben7651 Locken4253 meines Haupts flöchtest mit einem Flechtbande und heftetest sie7218 mit einem Nagel ein.

13 And Delilah1807 said559 to Samson,8123 Till now5704 2008 you have mocked2048 me, and told1696 me lies:3576 tell5046 me with which4100 you might be bound.631 And he said559 to her, If518 you weave707 the seven7651 locks4253 of my head7218 with the web.4545

14 Und sie sprach559 zu ihm8123: Philister6430 über dir, Simson! Er8628 aber wachte auf3364 von seinem Schlaf8142 und zog5265 die geflochtenen708 Locken3489 mit Nagel3489 und Flechtband heraus.

14 And she fastened8628 it with the pin,3489 and said559 to him, The Philistines6430 be on you, Samson.8123 And he awaked3364 out of his sleep,8142 and went5265 away5265 with the pin3489 of the beam,708 and with the web.4545

15 Da sprach559 sie zu ihm: Wie349 kannst du sagen, du habest mich lieb, so dein Herz3820 doch6471 nicht mit mir5046 ist? Dreimal7969 hast157 du mich getäuscht2048 und mir nicht gesagt559, worinnen deine große1419 Kraft3581 sei.

15 And she said559 to him, How349 can you say,559 I love157 you, when your heart3820 is not with me? you have mocked2048 me these2088 three7969 times,6471 and have not told5046 me wherein4100 your great1419 strength3581 lies.

16 Da sie ihn aber trieb mit ihren Worten1697 alle Tage3117 und zerplagte509 ihn, ward seine See LE5315 matt7114 bis an den Tod4191.

16 And it came1961 to pass, when3588 she pressed6693 him daily3117 with her words,1697 and urged509 him, so that his soul5315 was vexed7114 to death;4191

17 Und sagte5046 ihr sein ganzes Herz3820 und sprach559 zu ihr: Es ist nie kein Schermesser4177 auf5927 mein Haupt7218 kommen; denn ich bin ein5493 Verlobter Gottes430 von Mutterleibe517 an. Wenn du mich beschörest, so wiche meine Kraft3581 von mir, daß ich schwach2470 würde und wie alle andern Menschen120.

17 That he told5046 her all3605 his heart,3820 and said559 to her, There has not come5927 a razor4177 on my head;7218 for I have been a Nazarite5139 to God430 from my mother's517 womb:990 if518 I be shaven,1548 then my strength3581 will go5493 from me, and I shall become2470 weak,2470 and be like any3605 other man.120

18 Da nun Delila1807 sah7200, daß er ihr all sein Herz3820 offenbaret hatte, sandte sie7121 hin und ließ7971 der Philister6430 Fürsten5633 rufen und sagen559: Kommt5046 noch einmal6471 herauf5927, denn er hat mir5046 all sein Herz3820 offenbaret. Da kamen5927 der Philister6430 Fürsten5633 zu ihr herauf5927 und brachten das Geld3701 mit sich in ihrer Hand3027.

18 And when Delilah1807 saw7200 that he had told5046 her all3605 his heart,3820 she sent7971 and called7121 for the lords5633 of the Philistines,6430 saying,559 Come5927 up this once,6471 for he has showed5046 me all3605 his heart.3820 Then the lords5633 of the Philistines6430 came5927 up to her, and brought5927 money3701 in their hand.3027

19 Und376 sie5493 ließ ihn entschlafen3462 auf ihrem Schoß1290 und rief7121 einem, der ihm die sieben7651 Locken4253 seines Hauptes7218 abschöre1548. Und sie fing an2490 ihn zu zwingen6031. Da war seine Kraft3581 von ihm gewichen.

19 And she made him sleep3462 on her knees;1290 and she called7121 for a man,376 and she caused him to shave1548 off the seven7651 locks4253 of his head;7218 and she began2490 to afflict6031 him, and his strength3581 went5493 from him.

20 Und sie559 sprach559 zu ihm8123: Philister6430 über dir, Simson! Da er5493 nun von3318 seinem Schlaf8142 erwachte3364, gedachte er: Ich5287 will ausgehen, wie6471 ich mehrmals getan habe, ich will mich ausreißen; und wußte3045 nicht, daß der HErr3068 von ihm gewichen war.

20 And she said,559 The Philistines6430 be on you, Samson.8123 And he awoke3364 out of his sleep,8142 and said,559 I will go3318 out as at other times6471 before,6471 and shake5287 myself. And he knew3045 not that the LORD3068 was departed5493 from him.

21 Aber die Philister6430 griffen270 ihn und5178 stachen5365 ihm die Augen5869 aus; und1004 führeten ihn hinab3381 gen Gasa und banden631 ihn mit zwo ehernen Ketten; und er mußte mahlen2912 im Gefängnis631.

21 But the Philistines6430 took270 him, and put5365 out his eyes,5869 and brought3381 him down3381 to Gaza,5804 and bound631 him with fetters5178 of brass;5178 and he did grind2912 in the prison631 house.1004

22 Aber das Haar8181 seines834 Haupts fing an2490 wieder zu wachsen6779, wo es beschoren war1548.

22 However, the hair8181 of his head7218 began2490 to grow6779 again after834 he was shaven.1548
|
|
23 Da aber der Philister6430 Fürsten5633 sich versammelten622, ihrem GOtt430 Dagon1712 ein groß1419 Opfer2077 zu tun2076 und8123 sich zu freuen8057, sprachen559 sie: Unser GOtt430 hat uns unsern Feind341 Simson in unsere Hände3027 gegeben5414.

23 Then the lords5633 of the Philistines6430 gathered6908 them together for to offer2076 a great1419 sacrifice2077 to Dagon1712 their god,430 and to rejoice:8057 for they said,559 Our god430 has delivered5414 Samson8123 our enemy341 into our hand.3027

24 Desselbengleichen, als ihn das Volk5971 sah7200, lobten sie1984 ihren GOtt430; denn sie sprachen559: Unser GOtt430 hat uns unsern Feind341 in unsere Hände3027 gegeben5414, der unser Land776 verderbete und unser viel7235 erschlug.

24 And when the people5971 saw7200 him, they praised1984 their god:430 for they said,559 Our god430 has delivered5414 into our hands3027 our enemy,341 and the destroyer2717 of our country,776 which834 slew2491 many7235 of us.

25 Da nun ihr Herz guter Dinge war2896, sprachen559 sie7121: Lasset Simson holen, daß er8123 vor6440 uns3820 spiele7832. Da holeten sie7121 Simson aus dem Gefängnis631, und1004 er8123 spielete vor ihnen; und5975 sie stelleten ihn zwischen zwo Säulen5982.

25 And it came1961 to pass, when3588 their hearts3820 were merry,2896 that they said,559 Call7121 for Samson,8123 that he may make us sport.7832 And they called7121 for Samson8123 out of the prison631 house;1004 and he made them sport:6711 and they set5975 him between996 the pillars.5982

26 Simson8123 aber sprach559 zu3559 dem Knaben5288, der ihn3240 bei der Hand3027 leitete2388: Laß mich, daß ich die Säulen5982 taste4184, auf welchen das Haus1004 stehet, daß ich mich dran lehne.

26 And Samson8123 said559 to the lad5288 that held2388 him by the hand,3027 Suffer3240 me that I may feel4184 the pillars5982 whereupon834 5921 the house1004 stands,3559 that I may lean8172 on them.

27 Das Haus1004 aber war voll Männer582 und8123 Weiber802. Es waren4390 auch der Philister6430 Fürsten5633 alle da und auf dem Dach1406 bei dreitausend7969, Mann376 und Weib802, die zusahen7200, wie Simson spielete.
|
27 Now the house1004 was full4390 of men582 and women;802 and all3605 the lords5633 of the Philistines6430 were there;8033 and there were on the roof1406 about three7969 thousand505 men376 and women,802 that beheld7200 while Samson8123 made sport.7832

28 Simson aber rief7121 den HErrn3069 an und8123 sprach559: HErr3068, HErr136, gedenke2142 mein5359 und6430 stärke2388 mich doch6471, GOtt430, diesmal, daß ich für meine beiden8147 Augen5869 mich einst räche5358 an den Philistern.

28 And Samson8123 called7121 to the LORD,3068 and said,559 O Lord136 God,3069 remember2142 me, I pray4994 you, and strengthen2388 me, I pray4994 you, only389 this2088 once,6471 O God,430 that I may be at once avenged5358 of the Philistines6430 for my two8147 eyes.5869

29 Und er8123 fassete die zwo Mittelsäulen, auf welchen das Haus1004 gesetzt war3559 und drauf sich hielt5564, eine259 in8432 seine8147 rechte und die andere259 in seine linke8040 Hand3225,

29 And Samson8123 took hold3943 of the two8147 middle8432 pillars5982 on which834 the house1004 stood,3559 and on5921 which it was borne5564 up, of the one259 with his right3225 hand,3225 and of the other259 with his left.8040

30 und8123 sprach559: Meine See LE5315 sterbe4191 mit den Philistern; und6430 neigete sie kräftiglich. Da fiel5307 das Haus1004 auf5186 die Fürsten5633 und auf alles Volk5971, das drinnen war, daß der Toten4191 mehr3581 war, die in seinem Tode4194 starben4191, denn die bei seinem Leben2416 starben4191.

30 And Samson8123 said,559 Let me die4191 with the Philistines.6430 And he bowed5186 himself with all his might;3581 and the house1004 fell5307 on the lords,5633 and on all3605 the people5971 that were therein. So the dead4191 which834 he slew4191 at his death4194 were more7227 than they which834 he slew4191 in his life.2416

31 Da kamen seine Brüder251 hernieder3381 und seines Vaters1 ganzes Haus1004 und huben ihn auf5375 und trugen ihn hinauf5927 und begruben6912 ihn in seines Vaters1 Manoah4495 Grab6913, zwischen Zarea und Esthaol847. Er richtete8199 aber Israel3478 zwanzig6242 Jahre8141.

31 Then his brothers251 and all3605 the house1004 of his father1 came3381 down,3381 and took5375 him, and brought5927 him up, and buried6912 him between996 Zorah6881 and Eshtaol847 in the burial plot6913 of Manoah4495 his father.1 And he judged8199 Israel3478 twenty6242 years.8141
