2 Und da er heraufkam, sagte5046 er‘s an5927 seinem Vater1 und seiner Mutter517 und sprach559: Ich habe3947 ein Weib802 gesehen7200 zu Thimnath8553 unter den Töchtern1323 der Philister6430; gebet mir nun dieselbige zum Weibe802.

2 And he came5927 up, and told5046 his father1 and his mother,517 and said,559 I have seen7200 a woman802 in Timnath8553 of the daughters1323 of the Philistines:6430 now6258 therefore get3947 her for me to wife.802

3 Sein Vater1 und6430 seine Mutter517 sprachen559 zu ihm8123: Ist3947 denn nun kein369 Weib802 unter den Töchtern1323 deiner Brüder251 und in all deinem Volk5971, daß du hingehest und nimmst3947 ein Weib802 bei den Philistern, die unbeschnitten sind1980? Simson sprach559 zu seinem Vater1: Gib mir diese, denn sie6189 gefällt3474 meinen Augen5869.

3 Then his father1 and his mother517 said559 to him, Is there never369 a woman802 among the daughters1323 of your brothers,251 or among all3605 my people,5971 that you go1980 to take3947 a wife802 of the uncircumcised6189 Philistines?6430 And Samson8123 said559 to his father,1 Get3947 her for me; for she pleases3477 5869 me well.

4 Aber sein4910 Vater1 und seine Mutter517 wußten3045 nicht, daß es von dem HErrn3068 wäre; denn er suchte1245 Ursache8385 an die Philister6430. Die Philister6430 aber herrscheten zu der Zeit6256 über Israel3478.

4 But his father1 and his mother517 knew3045 not that it was of the LORD,3068 that he sought1245 an occasion8385 against the Philistines:6430 for at that time6256 the Philistines6430 had dominion4910 over Israel.3478

5 Also ging935 Simson hinab3381 mit seinem Vater1 und seiner Mutter517 gen Thimnath8553. Und als sie kamen an die Weinberge3754 zu Thimnath8553, siehe, da kam3381 ein junger3715 Löwe738 brüllend7580 ihm8123 entgegen7125.

5 Then went3381 Samson8123 down,3381 and his father1 and his mother,517 to Timnath,8553 and came935 to the vineyards3754 of Timnath:8553 and, behold,2009 a young3715 lion738 roared7580 against7125 him.

6 Und8156 der Geist7307 des HErrn3068 geriet6743 über ihn; und8156 zerriß ihn, wie man ein Böcklein1423 zerreißet, und hatte6213 doch gar nichts3972 in seiner Hand3027. Und sagte5046 es nicht an seinem Vater1 noch seiner Mutter517, was er getan hatte.

6 And the Spirit7307 of the LORD3068 came6743 mightily on him, and he rent8156 him as he would have rent8156 a kid,1423 and he had nothing3972 369 in his hand:3027 but he told5046 not his father1 or his mother517 what853 834 he had done.6213

7 Da er8123 nun hinabkam3381, redete1696 er mit dem Weibe802, und sie3474 gefiel3474 Simson in seinen Augen5869.

7 And he went3381 down,3381 and talked1696 with the woman;802 and she pleased3477 5869 Samson8123 well.

8 Und nach etlichen Tagen3117 kam er wieder7725, daß er sie nähme3947; und trat aus dem Wege, daß er das Aas4658 des Löwen738 besähe. Siehe7200, da war ein5493 Bienenschwarm5712 in dem Aas des Löwen738 und Honig1706.

8 And after a time3117 he returned7725 to take3947 her, and he turned5493 aside to see7200 the carcass4658 of the lion:738 and, behold,2009 there was a swarm5712 of bees1682 and honey1706 in the carcass1472 of the lion.738

9 Und er nahm‘s7287 in seine Hand3709 und aß398 davon3212 unterwegen; und ging1980 zu seinem Vater1 und zu seiner Mutter517 und gab5414 ihnen, daß sie auch aßen398. Er sagte5046 ihnen aber nicht an, daß er den Honig1706 von des Löwen738 Aas genommen hatte.

9 And he took7287 thereof in his hands,3709 and went3212 on eating,398 and came1980 to his father1 and mother,517 and he gave5414 them, and they did eat:398 but he told5046 not them that he had taken7287 the honey1706 out of the carcass1472 of the lion.738

10 Und8123 da sein Vater1 hinabkam3381 zu dem Weibe802, machte6213 Simson daselbst eine Hochzeit4960, wie die Jünglinge970 zu tun6213 pflegen.

10 So his father1 went3381 down3381 to the woman:802 and Samson8123 made6213 there8033 a feast;4960 for so3651 used the young970 men to do.6213

11 Und da sie3947 ihn sahen7200, gaben sie ihm dreißig7970 Gesellen4828 zu, die bei ihm sein sollten.

11 And it came1961 to pass, when they saw7200 him, that they brought3947 thirty7970 companions4828 to be with him.
|
|
12 Simson aber sprach559 zu ihnen: Ich will euch ein Rätsel2420 aufgeben2330. Wenn ihr mir5046 das erratet5046 und8123 treffet diese sieben7651 Tage3117 der Hochzeit4960, so will ich euch dreißig7970 Hemden5466 geben4672 und5414 dreißig7970 Feierkleider2487.

12 And Samson8123 said559 to them, I will now4994 put2330 forth2330 a riddle2420 to you: if518 you can certainly declare5046 it me within the seven7651 days3117 of the feast,4960 and find4672 it out, then I will give5414 you thirty7970 sheets5466 and thirty7970 change2487 of garments:899

13 Könnet ihr‘s aber nicht3201 erraten, so sollt ihr mir5046 dreißig7970 Hemden5466 und dreißig7970 Feierkleider2487 geben5414. Und sie sprachen559 zu ihm: Gib2330 dein Rätsel2420 auf, laß uns8085 hören!

13 But if518 you cannot3808 3201 declare5046 it me, then shall you give5414 me thirty7970 sheets5466 and thirty7970 change2487 of garments.899 And they said559 to him, Put2330 forth2330 your riddle,2420 that we may hear8085 it.

14 Er sprach559 zu ihnen: Speise3978 ging von3318 dem398 Fresser und Süßigkeit4966 von3318 dem Starken5794. Und sie5046 konnten3201 in dreien7969 Tagen3117 das Rätsel2420 nicht erraten.

14 And he said559 to them, Out of the eater398 came3318 forth3318 meat,3978 and out of the strong5794 came3318 forth3318 sweetness.4966 And they could3201 not in three7969 days3117 expound5046 the riddle.2420

15 Am siebenten7637 Tage3117 sprachen559 sie7121 zu Simsons8123 Weibe802: Überrede6601 deinen Mann376, daß er uns sage5046 das Rätsel2420, oder wir werden dich und3423 deines Vaters1 Haus1004 mit Feuer784 verbrennen8313. Habt ihr uns hieher geladen, daß ihr uns arm machet, oder nicht?

15 And it came1961 to pass on the seventh7637 day,3117 that they said559 to Samson's8123 wife,802 Entice6601 your husband,376 that he may declare5046 to us the riddle,2420 lest6435 we burn8313 you and your father's1 house1004 with fire:784 have you called7121 us to take3423 that we have? is it not so?

16 Da weinete Simsons8123 Weib802 vor ihm und sprach559: Du1058 bist mir5046 gram8130 und hast157 mich nicht lieb. Du hast den Kindern1121 meines Volks5971 ein Rätsel2420 aufgegeben2330 und hast mir‘s nicht gesagt559. Er aber sprach zu ihr: Siehe, ich habe es meinem Vater1 und meiner Mutter517 nicht gesagt5046 und sollte dir‘s sagen5046?

16 And Samson's8123 wife802 wept1058 before5921 him, and said,559 You do but hate8130 me, and love157 me not: you have put2330 forth2330 a riddle2420 to the children1121 of my people,5971 and have not told5046 it me. And he said559 to her, Behold,2009 I have not told5046 it my father1 nor3808 my mother,517 and shall I tell5046 it you?

17 Und1961 sie1058 weinete die sieben7651 Tage3117 vor ihm, weil sie Hochzeit4960 hatten. Aber am siebenten7637 Tage3117 sagte5046 er‘s ihr, denn sie trieb ihn ein. Und sie sagte5046 das Rätsel2420 ihres Volks5971 Kindern1121.

17 And she wept1058 before5921 him the seven7651 days,3117 while their feast4960 lasted:1961 and it came1961 to pass on the seventh7637 day,3117 that he told5046 her, because3588 she lay sore on him: and she told5046 the riddle2420 to the children1121 of her people.5971

18 Da sprachen559 die Männer582 der Stadt5892 zu ihm am siebenten7637 Tage3117, ehe die Sonne2775 unterging: Was ist935 süßer4966 denn Honig1706? Was ist4672 stärker5794 denn der Löwe738? Aber er sprach559 zu ihnen: Wenn3884 ihr nicht2790 hättet mit meinem Kalbe gepflüget, ihr hättet mein Rätsel2420 nicht getroffen.

18 And the men582 of the city5892 said559 to him on the seventh7637 day3117 before2962 the sun2775 went935 down,3381 What4100 is sweeter4966 than honey?1706 And what4100 is stronger5794 than a lion?738 and he said559 to them, If3884 you had not plowed2790 with my heifer,5697 you had not found4672 out my riddle.2420

19 Und5414 der Geist7307 des HErrn3068 geriet über ihn; und ging5927 hinab3381 gen Asklon und schlug5221 dreißig7970 Mann376 unter ihnen; und nahm3947 ihr2734 Gewand2488 und gab6743 Feierkleider2487 denen, die das Rätsel2420 erraten hatten5046. Und ergrimmete in seinem Zorn639 und ging herauf in seines Vaters1 Haus1004.

19 And the Spirit7307 of the LORD3068 came6743 on him, and he went3381 down3381 to Ashkelon,831 and slew5221 thirty7970 men376 of them, and took3947 their spoil,2488 and gave5414 change2487 of garments to them which expounded5046 the riddle.2420 And his anger639 was kindled,2734 and he went5927 up to his father's1 house.1004
