Розділ 21

1 І поглянув Він уго́ру, і побачив заможних, що кидали да́ри свої до скарбни́ці.

2 Побачив і вбогу вдовицю одну, що дві ле́пті туди вона вки́нула.

3 І сказав Він: „Поправді кажу вам, що ця вбога вдовиця вкинула більше за всіх!

4 Бо всі клали від лишка свого в дар Богові, а вона покла́ла з убозтва свого ввесь прожиток, що мала“.

5 Коли ж дехто казав про храм, що прикрашений дорогоцінним камінням та дарами, тоді Він прорік:

6 „Наді́йдуть ті дні, коли з того, що́ бачите, не зоста́неться й каменя на камені, який не зруйнується“.

7 І запитали Його та сказали: „Учителю, коли ж оце станеться? І, яка буде ознака, коли має початися це?“

8 Він же промовив: „Стережіться, щоб вас хто не звів. Бо багато-хто при́йдуть в Ім'я́ Моє, кажучи: „Це Я“, і „Час набли́зився“. Та за ними не йдіть!

9 І, як про ві́йни та ро́зрухи почуєте ви, — не лякайтесь, бо перш „статись належить тому́“. Але це не кінець ще“.

10 Тоді промовляв Він до них: Повстане наро́д на наро́д, і царство на царство“.

11 І будуть землетруси великі та голод, та по́мір місцями, і страшні та великі ознаки на небі.

12 Але перед усім тим накладуть на вас руки свої, і переслідувати будуть, і видаватимуть вас у синагоги й в'язни́ці, і поведуть вас до царів та правителів — через Ім'я́ Моє.

13 Але це стане вам на свідо́цтво.

14 Отож, покладіть у серця свої — наперед не гада́ти, що́ будете відповідати,

15 бо дам Я вам мову та мудрість, що не зможуть противитись чи супере́чити їй всі противники ваші.

16 І будуть вас видавати і батьки, і брати, і рідня, і дру́зі, а декому з вас заподі́ють і смерть.

17 І за Ім'я́ Моє будуть усі вас нена́видіти.

18 Але й волосина вам із голови не загине!

19 Терпеливістю вашою ду́ші свої ви здобу́дете.

20 А коли ви побачите Єрусалим, військом ото́чений, тоді знайте, що до нього набли́зилося спусто́шення.

21 Тоді ті, хто в Юдеї, нехай у го́ри втікають; хто ж у сере́дині міста, нехай вийдуть; хто ж в околицях, — хай не вертаються в нього!

22 Бо то будуть дні помсти, щоб ви́коналося все написане.

23 Горе ж вагітним та тим, хто годує грудьми́, у ті дні, бо буде велика нужда́ на землі та гнів над цим лю́дом!

24 І поляжуть під гострим мечем, і заберуть до неволі поміж усі наро́ди, і погани топтатимуть Єрусалим, аж поки не скі́нчиться час тих поган.

25 І будуть ознаки на сонці, і місяці, і зорях, і тривога людей на землі, і збенте́ження від шуму моря та хвиль,

26 коли люди будуть мертвіти від стра́ху й чека́ння того, що йде на ввесь світ, бо сили небесні пору́шаться.

27 І побачать тоді „Сина Лю́дського, що йтиме на хмарах “із си́лою й великою славою!

28 Коли ж стане збуватися це, то ви́простуйтесь, і підійміть свої голови, — бо зближається ваше визво́лення!“

29 І розповів Він їм притчу: „Погляньте на фі́ґове дерево, і на всілякі дере́ва:

30 як вони вже розпу́куються, то, бачивши це, самі знаєте, що близько вже літо.

31 Так і ви, як побачите, що діється це, то знайте, що Боже Царство вже близько!

32 Поправді кажу вам: Не пере́йде цей рід, аж усе оце станеться.

33 Небо й земля промину́ться, але не минуться слова́ Мої!

34 Уважайте ж на себе, щоб ваші серця не обтя́жувалися ненаже́рством та п'янством, і життє́вими кло́потами, і щоб день той на вас не прийшов несподівано,

35 немов сітка; бо він при́йде на всіх, що живуть на пове́рхні всієї землі.

36 Тож пильнуйте, і кожного ча́су моліться, щоб змогли ви уни́кнути всього того, що має відбутись, та стати перед Сином Лю́дським!“

37 За дня ж Він у храмі навчав, а на́ ніч виходив та перебува́в на горі, що зветься Оли́вна.

38 А зра́нку всі люди до Нього прихо́дили в храм, щоб послухати Його.

Luke

Chapter 21

1 JESUS then looked at the rich men who were casting their offerings into the trea sury.

2 And he also saw a poor widow, who cast in two pennies.

3 And he said, Truly I say to you, that this poor widow has cast in more than every man.

4 For all these cast into the house of the offerings of God of their abundance; but she of her poverty cast in everything she had earned.

5 While some men were talking about the temple, that it was adorned with beautiful stones and gift offerings, Jesus said to them,

6 These things which you see, the days will come when not a stone will be left upon a stone, which will not be torn down.

7 And they asked him, saying, Teacher, when will these things happen? and what is the sign when these things are about to happen?

8 He said to them, Be careful that you may not be deceived; for many will come in my name, and say, I am the Christ; and the time is near; but do not follow them.

9 And when you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be afraid; for all these things must first come to pass; but the end is not vet.

10 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

11 And there will be great earthquakes in different places, and famines and plagues; and there will be alarming sights, and great signs will appear from heaven; and the winters will be severe.

12 But before all these things, they will lay hands on you, and persecute you, and deliver you to the synagogues and the prisons; and they will bring you before kings and governors for the sake of my name.

13 It will be to you for a testimony.

14 Treasure it in your heart, and do not try to learn what to answer.

15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your enemies will not be able to withstand.

16 You will be delivered up even by your parents and brothers, and your relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death.

17 And you will be hated by every man because of my name.

18 And yet not a hair of your head will be lost.

19 By your patience you will gain your souls.

20 But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by an army, then know that its destruction is at hand.

21 Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountain; and let those who are within it flee; and let those who are in the fields not enter into it.

22 For these are the days of vengeance, so that everything which is written must be fulfilled.

23 But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days! For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people.

24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and they will be taken captive to every country; and Jerusalem will be trodden under the feet of the Gentiles, until the time of the Gentiles comes to an end.

25 And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars; and on earth distress of the nations, and confusion because of the roaring of the sea;

26 And upheaval that takes life out of men, because of fear of what is to come on earth; and the powers of the universe will be shaken.

27 Then they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with a large army and great glory.

28 But when these things begin to happen, have courage, and lift up your heads; because your salvation is at hand.

29 And he said to them a parable, Look at the fig tree and all the trees;

30 When they put forth leaves, you immediately understand by them that the summer is near.

31 Even so you also, when you see these things happen, know that the kingdom of God is near.

32 Truly I say to you, This generation will not pass away until all these things happen.

33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

34 But take heed to yourselves, that your hearts may not become heavy by extravagance, and drunkenness, and worries of this world, and that day come suddenly upon you.

35 For like a downpour it will entrap all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.

36 Therefore keep watch all the time and pray, so that you may be worthy to escape all these things which are to happen, and that you may stand before the Son of man.

37 During the day he taught in the temple; and at night he went out, and lodged in the mountain, which is called the Home of Olives.

38 And all the people came ahead of him to the temple, to hear him.

1 І поглянув Він уго́ру, і побачив заможних, що кидали да́ри свої до скарбни́ці.	1 JESUS then looked at the rich men who were casting their offerings into the trea sury.
2 Побачив і вбогу вдовицю одну, що дві ле́пті туди вона вки́нула.	2 And he also saw a poor widow, who cast in two pennies.
3 І сказав Він: „Поправді кажу вам, що ця вбога вдовиця вкинула більше за всіх!	3 And he said, Truly I say to you, that this poor widow has cast in more than every man.
4 Бо всі клали від лишка свого в дар Богові, а вона покла́ла з убозтва свого ввесь прожиток, що мала“.	4 For all these cast into the house of the offerings of God of their abundance; but she of her poverty cast in everything she had earned.
5 Коли ж дехто казав про храм, що прикрашений дорогоцінним камінням та дарами, тоді Він прорік:	5 While some men were talking about the temple, that it was adorned with beautiful stones and gift offerings, Jesus said to them,
6 „Наді́йдуть ті дні, коли з того, що́ бачите, не зоста́неться й каменя на камені, який не зруйнується“.	6 These things which you see, the days will come when not a stone will be left upon a stone, which will not be torn down.
7 І запитали Його та сказали: „Учителю, коли ж оце станеться? І, яка буде ознака, коли має початися це?“	7 And they asked him, saying, Teacher, when will these things happen? and what is the sign when these things are about to happen?
8 Він же промовив: „Стережіться, щоб вас хто не звів. Бо багато-хто при́йдуть в Ім'я́ Моє, кажучи: „Це Я“, і „Час набли́зився“. Та за ними не йдіть!	8 He said to them, Be careful that you may not be deceived; for many will come in my name, and say, I am the Christ; and the time is near; but do not follow them.
9 І, як про ві́йни та ро́зрухи почуєте ви, — не лякайтесь, бо перш „статись належить тому́“. Але це не кінець ще“.	9 And when you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be afraid; for all these things must first come to pass; but the end is not vet.
10 Тоді промовляв Він до них: Повстане наро́д на наро́д, і царство на царство“.	10 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 І будуть землетруси великі та голод, та по́мір місцями, і страшні та великі ознаки на небі.	11 And there will be great earthquakes in different places, and famines and plagues; and there will be alarming sights, and great signs will appear from heaven; and the winters will be severe.
12 Але перед усім тим накладуть на вас руки свої, і переслідувати будуть, і видаватимуть вас у синагоги й в'язни́ці, і поведуть вас до царів та правителів — через Ім'я́ Моє.	12 But before all these things, they will lay hands on you, and persecute you, and deliver you to the synagogues and the prisons; and they will bring you before kings and governors for the sake of my name.
13 Але це стане вам на свідо́цтво.	13 It will be to you for a testimony.
14 Отож, покладіть у серця свої — наперед не гада́ти, що́ будете відповідати,	14 Treasure it in your heart, and do not try to learn what to answer.
15 бо дам Я вам мову та мудрість, що не зможуть противитись чи супере́чити їй всі противники ваші.	15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your enemies will not be able to withstand.
16 І будуть вас видавати і батьки, і брати, і рідня, і дру́зі, а декому з вас заподі́ють і смерть.	16 You will be delivered up even by your parents and brothers, and your relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death.
17 І за Ім'я́ Моє будуть усі вас нена́видіти.	17 And you will be hated by every man because of my name.
18 Але й волосина вам із голови не загине!	18 And yet not a hair of your head will be lost.
19 Терпеливістю вашою ду́ші свої ви здобу́дете.	19 By your patience you will gain your souls.
20 А коли ви побачите Єрусалим, військом ото́чений, тоді знайте, що до нього набли́зилося спусто́шення.	20 But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by an army, then know that its destruction is at hand.
21 Тоді ті, хто в Юдеї, нехай у го́ри втікають; хто ж у сере́дині міста, нехай вийдуть; хто ж в околицях, — хай не вертаються в нього!	21 Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountain; and let those who are within it flee; and let those who are in the fields not enter into it.
22 Бо то будуть дні помсти, щоб ви́коналося все написане.	22 For these are the days of vengeance, so that everything which is written must be fulfilled.
23 Горе ж вагітним та тим, хто годує грудьми́, у ті дні, бо буде велика нужда́ на землі та гнів над цим лю́дом!	23 But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days! For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people.
24 І поляжуть під гострим мечем, і заберуть до неволі поміж усі наро́ди, і погани топтатимуть Єрусалим, аж поки не скі́нчиться час тих поган.	24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and they will be taken captive to every country; and Jerusalem will be trodden under the feet of the Gentiles, until the time of the Gentiles comes to an end.
25 І будуть ознаки на сонці, і місяці, і зорях, і тривога людей на землі, і збенте́ження від шуму моря та хвиль,	25 And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars; and on earth distress of the nations, and confusion because of the roaring of the sea;
26 коли люди будуть мертвіти від стра́ху й чека́ння того, що йде на ввесь світ, бо сили небесні пору́шаться.	26 And upheaval that takes life out of men, because of fear of what is to come on earth; and the powers of the universe will be shaken.
27 І побачать тоді „Сина Лю́дського, що йтиме на хмарах “із си́лою й великою славою!	27 Then they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with a large army and great glory.
28 Коли ж стане збуватися це, то ви́простуйтесь, і підійміть свої голови, — бо зближається ваше визво́лення!“	28 But when these things begin to happen, have courage, and lift up your heads; because your salvation is at hand.
29 І розповів Він їм притчу: „Погляньте на фі́ґове дерево, і на всілякі дере́ва:	29 And he said to them a parable, Look at the fig tree and all the trees;
30 як вони вже розпу́куються, то, бачивши це, самі знаєте, що близько вже літо.	30 When they put forth leaves, you immediately understand by them that the summer is near.
31 Так і ви, як побачите, що діється це, то знайте, що Боже Царство вже близько!	31 Even so you also, when you see these things happen, know that the kingdom of God is near.
32 Поправді кажу вам: Не пере́йде цей рід, аж усе оце станеться.	32 Truly I say to you, This generation will not pass away until all these things happen.
33 Небо й земля промину́ться, але не минуться слова́ Мої!	33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
34 Уважайте ж на себе, щоб ваші серця не обтя́жувалися ненаже́рством та п'янством, і життє́вими кло́потами, і щоб день той на вас не прийшов несподівано,	34 But take heed to yourselves, that your hearts may not become heavy by extravagance, and drunkenness, and worries of this world, and that day come suddenly upon you.
35 немов сітка; бо він при́йде на всіх, що живуть на пове́рхні всієї землі.	35 For like a downpour it will entrap all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.
36 Тож пильнуйте, і кожного ча́су моліться, щоб змогли ви уни́кнути всього того, що має відбутись, та стати перед Сином Лю́дським!“	36 Therefore keep watch all the time and pray, so that you may be worthy to escape all these things which are to happen, and that you may stand before the Son of man.
