2 Не будеш з більшістю, щоб чинити зло. І не будеш висловлюватися про по́зов, прихиляючись до більшости, щоб перегнути правду. |
|
3 І не будеш потура́ти вбогому в його по́зові. |
|
4 Коли стрінеш вола свого ворога або осла його, що заблудив, то конче повернеш його йому. |
|
5 Коли побачиш осла свого ворога, що лежить під тягаре́м своїм, то не зага́їшся помогти йому, — конче поможеш ра́зом із ним. |
|
6 Не перегинай суду на бік вбогого свого́ в його по́зові. |
|
7 Від неправдивої справи відда́лишся, а чистого й справедливого не забий, бо Я не всправедливлю несправедливого. |
|
8 А хабара́ не візьмеш, бо хаба́р осліплює зрячих і викривляє слова справедливих. |
|
9 А прихо́дька не будеш тиснути, бож ви познали душу прихо́дька, бо самі були прихо́дьками в єгипетськім кра́ї. |
|
10 |
|
11 а сьомого — опустиш її та полишиш її, і будуть їсти вбогі народу твого, а позостале по них буде їсти польова́ звірина́. Так само зробиш для виноградника твого, і для оливки твоєї. |
|
12 Шість день будеш робити діла́ свої, а сьомого дня спочи́неш, щоб відпочив віл твій, і осел твій, і щоб відідхнув син невільниці твоєї й прихо́дько. |
|
13 І все, що Я сказав вам, будете вико́нувати. А йме́ння інших богів не згадаєте, — не буде почуте воно на устах твоїх. |
|
14 Три ра́зи на рік будеш святкува́ти Мені. |
|
15 Будеш дотримувати свято Опрі́сноків; сім день будеш їсти опрісноки, як наказав тобі, окресленого часу місяця авіва, бо в нім ти був вийшов з Єгипту. І не будете являтися перед лицем Моїм з порожніми руками. |
|
16 І свято жнив первопло́ду праці твоєї, що сієш на полі. І свято збира́ння при закінченні року, коли ти збираєш з поля працю свою. |
|
17 Три рази на рік буде являтися ввесь чоловічий рід твій перед лицем Владики Господа. |
|
18 Не будеш прино́сити крови жертви Моєї на квашенім, а лій Моєї святкової жертви не буде ночува́ти аж до ра́нку. |
|
19 Поча́тки первопло́ду твоєї землі принесеш до дому Господа, Бога твого. Не будеш варити ягняти в молоці його матері. |
|
20 |
|
21 Стережися перед лицем Його, і слухайся Його голосу! Не протився Йому, бо Він не проба́чить вашого гріха, — бо Ім'я́ Моє в Ньому |
|
22 Коли ж справді послухаєш ти Його голосу, і вчиниш усе, що говорю́, то Я буду ворогува́ти проти ворогів твоїх, і буду гноби́ти твоїх гноби́телів. |
|
23 Бо Мій Ангол ходитиме перед лицем твоїм, і запрова́дить тебе до амореянина, і хіттеянина, і періззеянина, і ханаанеянина, хіввеянина, і євусеянина, — а Я зни́щу його. |
|
24 Не будеш вклонятися їхнім бога́м, і служити їм не будеш, і не будеш чинити за вчинками їх, бо конче порозбиваєш і конче поламаєш їхні стовпи́ для богів. |
|
25 І будеш служити ти Господе́ві, Богові своєму, і Він поблагосло́вить твій хліб та воду твою, і з-посеред тебе усуне хворо́бу. |
|
26 У твоїм кра́ї не буде такої, що скидає плода́, ані неплідної. Число твоїх днів Я доповню. |
|
27 Свій страх пошлю перед лицем твоїм, і приведу в замішання ввесь цей наро́д, що ти ввійдеш між ньо́го. І всіх ворогів твоїх оберну́ до тебе поти́лицею. |
|
28 І пошлю ше́ршня перед тобою, і він вижене перед тобою хіввеянина, ханаанеянина та хіттеянина. |
|
29 Не вижену їх перед тобою в однім році, щоб не став той край спусто́шеним, і не розмно́жилася на тебе польова́ звірина́. |
|
30 Помалу Я буду їх виганяти перед тобою, аж поки ти розро́дишся, і пося́деш цей край. |
|
31 І покладу́ границю твою від моря Червоного й аж до моря Филистимського, і від пустині аж до річки, бо дам в вашу руку ме́шканців цього кра́ю, — і ти виженеш їх перед собою. |
|
32 Не складай умови з ними та з їхніми бога́ми. |
|
33 Не бу́дуть сидіти вони в твоїм кра́ї, щоб не ввести тебе в гріх супроти Мене, коли будеш служити їхнім бога́м, бо це буде па́стка тобі!“ |

|
1 YOU shall not confirm a false report: do not stretch out your hand taking oaths with the guilty to become a false witness for him. |
|
2 You shall not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shall you testify in a lawsuit so as to pervert justice, in order to side with a multitude which deviates from justice. |
|
3 Neither shall you be partial to a poor man in his lawsuit. |
|
4 If you meet your enemy's ox or his ass going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again. |
|
5 If you should see the ass of your enemy lying under its burden, and you are unwilling to help him lift it up, you should surely help him to lift it up nevertheless. |
|
6 You shall not pervert the justice due to a poor man in his lawsuit. |
|
7 Keep far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous you shall not slay; for I will not justify the wicked. |
|
8 And you shall take no bribe; for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise in judgment and perverts the words of the righteous. |
|
9 You shall not oppress strangers: for you know the life of a stranger; you were strangers in the land of Egypt. |
|
10 For six years you shall sow your land and shall gather in the crops thereof: |
|
11 But the seventh year you shall leave it fallow, so that the poor of your people may eat of the fruits of it; and what is left the wild beasts may eat. You shall do in like manner with your vineyard and with your olive yard. |
|
12 Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest, that your ox and your ass may rest and the son of your handmaid; and that the stranger in your towns may be refreshed. |
|
13 Take heed of all things that I have said to you; and make no mention of the name of false idols, neither think of them. |
|
14 Three times in the year you shall celebrate a festival for me. |
|
15 You shall keep the festival of the unleavened bread (you shall eat unleavened bread for seven days, as I commanded you, at the time appointed of the month of Abib; for in the month of Abib you came out of the land of Egypt; you shall not appear before me without a gift offering:) |
|
16 And the festival of the harvest, the first fruits of your grain which you sow in the field; and the festival of the ingathering, which is at the end of the year, when you have gathered your crop from the field. |
|
17 Three times in the year all your gift offerings shall appear before the LORD your God. |
|
18 You shall not offer the blood of a sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of the festival sacrifices remain until morning. |
|
19 The best of the first fruits of your land you shall bring into the house of the LORD your God. You shall not cook the meat of a kid in its mother's milk. |
|
20 Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you into the land which I have prepared. |
|
21 Heed him and obey his voice; do not strive against him; perhaps he will not pardon your transgressions; for my name is upon him. |
|
22 But if you shall indeed obey his voice and do all that he says to you, then I will hate those who hate you and oppress your enemies. |
|
23 For my angel shall go before you and bring you against the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the Jebusites; and I will destroy them. |
|
24 You shall not worship their gods nor serve them nor do after their works; but you shall utterly overthrow them and break down their statues. |
|
25 And you shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from your houses. |
|
26 There shall nothing cast their young nor be barren in your land; the number of your days I will fulfil. |
|
27 I will send my fear before you and will destroy all the peoples against whom you shall go to war, and I will make all your enemies flee from you. |
|
28 And I will send fierce armies before you, and will destroy the Canaanites and the Hittites from before you. |
|
29 I will not destroy them from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you. |
|
30 Little by little I will destroy them before you, till you become strong and inherit the land. |
|
31 And I will set your boundaries from the Red Sea as far as the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the river Euphrates; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hands; and you shall destroy them. |
|
32 You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their idols. |
|
33 They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin before me; you shall not serve their gods, lest they be a stumbling block to you. |

8 А хабара́ не візьмеш, бо хаба́р осліплює зрячих і викривляє слова справедливих. |

9 А прихо́дька не будеш тиснути, бож ви познали душу прихо́дька, бо самі були прихо́дьками в єгипетськім кра́ї. |

10 For six years you shall sow your land and shall gather in the crops thereof: |

11 а сьомого — опустиш її та полишиш її, і будуть їсти вбогі народу твого, а позостале по них буде їсти польова́ звірина́. Так само зробиш для виноградника твого, і для оливки твоєї. |
11 But the seventh year you shall leave it fallow, so that the poor of your people may eat of the fruits of it; and what is left the wild beasts may eat. You shall do in like manner with your vineyard and with your olive yard. |

12 Шість день будеш робити діла́ свої, а сьомого дня спочи́неш, щоб відпочив віл твій, і осел твій, і щоб відідхнув син невільниці твоєї й прихо́дько. |
12 Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest, that your ox and your ass may rest and the son of your handmaid; and that the stranger in your towns may be refreshed. |
