2 „Сину лю́дський, за те, що Тир говорить на Єрусалим: „Ага́! зламалися це двері наро́дів, він зверта́ється до мене, і я наси́чуся, бо він зни́щений“, |
|
3 тому так говорить Госпо́дь Бог: Ось Я на тебе, Тире, і підійму́ на тебе багато наро́дів, як море підіймає свої хвилі. |
|
4 І понищать вони мури Тиру, і повалять ба́шти його, і ви́мету з нього порох його, і оберну́ його на голу скелю. |
|
5 Він буде серед моря місцем розтя́гнення не́воду, бо Я сказав це, — говорить Господь Бог, — і стане він за здо́бич для наро́дів, |
|
6 а його до́чки, що на полі, будуть побиті мечем, і пізнають вони, що Я — Господь! |
|
7 Бо так говорить Господь Бог: Ось Я спрова́джу до Тиру Навуходоно́сора, вавилонського царя, з пі́вночі, царя над царями, з конем і колесницею та з верхівця́ми, і з ними на́товп, і числе́нний наро́д. |
|
8 Він позабиває на полі дочо́к твоїх мечем, і зробить на тебе ба́шту, і насипле на тебе ва́ла, і поставить проти тебе щита́. |
|
9 І дасть муроло́ма на мури твої, і порозбиває мечами своїми він ба́шти твої! |
|
10 Від на́дміру ко́ней його закриє тебе їхня ку́рява, від цо́коту ве́ршника, ко́леса та колесниці затремтя́ть твої мури, як буде він вхо́дити в брами твої, як входять до міста з розла́маним муром. |
|
11 Копи́тами ко́ней своїх він пото́пче усі твої вулиці, позабиває мечем твій наро́д, і на землю попа́дають пам'ятники твоєї могутности. |
|
12 I вони розграбують багатство твоє, і пограбу́ють това́ри твої, і порозва́люють мури твої, і порозбивають доми́ твої пишні, а каміння твоє, і дере́ва твої, і навіть твій по́рох вони поскида́ють у во́ду! |
|
13 І Я припиню́ розляга́ння пісе́нь твоїх, і бре́нькіт гу́сел твоїх більше чутий не бу́де. |
|
14 І зроблю тебе голою скелею, станеш місцем розтя́гнення сітки, і більше не бу́деш збудо́ваний, бо я, Господь, це сказав, Господь Бог промовляє! |
|
15 Отак Господь Бог промовляє до Тиру: Чи ж від шу́му паді́ння твого́, коли бу́дуть стогнати ране́ні, коли забива́тимуть посеред тебе, не затремтять острови́? |
|
16 І всі князі моря посхо́дять із тро́нів своїх, і поздіймають вони свої ма́нтії, і постягають свої кольоро́ві одежі, — і зодя́гнуться стра́хом, посідають на землю, і будуть тремтіти щохвилі, і стовпо́м постаю́ть над тобою. |
|
17 І пісню жало́бну про тебе вони заспівають, і скажуть тобі: Як загинуло ти, як оді́рване ти від морі́в, славне місто, що си́льним на морі було́, воно й його ме́шканці, що наво́дили страх свій на всіх його ме́шканців! |
|
18 Тепер затремтять острови́ в дні упадку твого́, і жахну́ться всі ті острови́, що на морі, твоєю загу́бою. |
|
19 Бо так Господь Бог промовляє: Коли Я тебе оберну́ на спусто́шене місто, немов ті міста́, що вони не заме́шкані, коли підійму́ Я безодню на тебе, і велика вода тебе вкриє, |
|
20 то зни́жу тебе ра́зом з тими, що сходять в могилу, до преда́внього люду, і в підзе́мній землі осаджу́ я тебе, як руїни відві́чні, із тими, що сходять в могилу, щоб ізно́ву ти не засели́вся, і в країні живих більш не жив! |
|
21 За по́страх тебе учиню́, — і не буде тебе, і будуть шукати тебе, — та вже більше не зна́йдуть навіки, говорить оце́ Господь Бог!“ |

1 AND it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying, |
|
2 Son of man, because Tyre has said against Jerusalem, Aha, the gates of the people are broken; the people have turned to me; I shall be enriched, now that she is destroyed and is laid waste. |
|
3 Therefore thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes its waves to come up. |
|
4 And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre and demolish her towers, and remove the soil from her; and I will make her like a bare rock. |
|
5 It shall be a drying place for nets in the midst of the sea, because I have spoken it, says the LORD God; and it shall become a spoil to the nations. |
|
6 And her daughters who are in the field shall be slain by the sword; they shall know that I am the LORD. |
|
7 For thus says the LORD God: Behold, I will bring upon Tyre Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, king of kings, from the north with horses and with chariots and with horsemen and a multitude and much people. |
|
8 He shall slay with the sword your daughters who are in the field; and he shall set up forts against you and cast a mount against you and lift up the buckler against you. |
|
9 And he shall strike the sharp points of his spears against your walls, and he shall destroy your towers with his swords. |
|
10 By reason of the abundance of his horses, their dust shall cover you; your walls shall shake at the noise of his horsemen and of the wheels and of the chariots, when he shall enter your gates as men enter into a city in which is made a breach. |
|
11 With the hoofs of his horses he shall tread down all your streets; he shall slay your people by the sword, and your mighty altars shall he demolish to the ground. |
|
12 And his army shall plunder your riches and make a prey of your merchandise; and they shall demolish your walls and destroy your pleasant houses; and they shall cast your stones and your timber and your wealth into the sea. |
|
13 And I will cause the noise of the multitude of your songs to cease; and the sound of your harpers shall be heard no more. |
|
14 And I will make you a bare rock, a drying place for nets; you shall be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, says the LORD God. |
|
15 Thus says the LORD God to Tyre: At the sound of your fall and of the torment of your slain and the slaughter which is made in the midst of you, the islands shall tremble. |
|
16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones and lay away their robes and put off their embroidered garments; they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble and become restless, and be astonished at you. |
|
17 And they shall take up lamentations over you, and say to you, How you are destroyed, O you inhabitant of the seas, O fortified city, which was strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all the inhabitants thereof! |
|
18 Now shall the isles tremble in the day of your fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled in the day of your fall. |
|
19 For thus says the LORD God to Tyre: When I shall make you a desolate city, like the cities theft are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon you, and great waters shall cover you; |
|
20 When I shall bring you down with those who descend into the grave, with the people of old time, and shall set you in the lowest parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with those that go down into the pit, that you be not inhabited; and I will not cause your resurrection in the land of the living: |
|
21 I will give you to destruction, you will be sought for, yet you will not be found again for ever, says the LORD God. |

2 Son of man, because Tyre has said against Jerusalem, Aha, the gates of the people are broken; the people have turned to me; I shall be enriched, now that she is destroyed and is laid waste. |

3 тому так говорить Госпо́дь Бог: Ось Я на тебе, Тире, і підійму́ на тебе багато наро́дів, як море підіймає свої хвилі. |
3 Therefore thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes its waves to come up. |
|
4 І понищать вони мури Тиру, і повалять ба́шти його, і ви́мету з нього порох його, і оберну́ його на голу скелю. |
4 And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre and demolish her towers, and remove the soil from her; and I will make her like a bare rock. |
|
5 Він буде серед моря місцем розтя́гнення не́воду, бо Я сказав це, — говорить Господь Бог, — і стане він за здо́бич для наро́дів, |
5 It shall be a drying place for nets in the midst of the sea, because I have spoken it, says the LORD God; and it shall become a spoil to the nations. |

6 а його до́чки, що на полі, будуть побиті мечем, і пізнають вони, що Я — Господь! |

7 Бо так говорить Господь Бог: Ось Я спрова́джу до Тиру Навуходоно́сора, вавилонського царя, з пі́вночі, царя над царями, з конем і колесницею та з верхівця́ми, і з ними на́товп, і числе́нний наро́д. |

8 Він позабиває на полі дочо́к твоїх мечем, і зробить на тебе ба́шту, і насипле на тебе ва́ла, і поставить проти тебе щита́. |

9 І дасть муроло́ма на мури твої, і порозбиває мечами своїми він ба́шти твої! |

15 Отак Господь Бог промовляє до Тиру: Чи ж від шу́му паді́ння твого́, коли бу́дуть стогнати ране́ні, коли забива́тимуть посеред тебе, не затремтять острови́? |
15 Thus says the LORD God to Tyre: At the sound of your fall and of the torment of your slain and the slaughter which is made in the midst of you, the islands shall tremble. |
|
16 І всі князі моря посхо́дять із тро́нів своїх, і поздіймають вони свої ма́нтії, і постягають свої кольоро́ві одежі, — і зодя́гнуться стра́хом, посідають на землю, і будуть тремтіти щохвилі, і стовпо́м постаю́ть над тобою. |
16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones and lay away their robes and put off their embroidered garments; they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble and become restless, and be astonished at you. |

17 І пісню жало́бну про тебе вони заспівають, і скажуть тобі: Як загинуло ти, як оді́рване ти від морі́в, славне місто, що си́льним на морі було́, воно й його ме́шканці, що наво́дили страх свій на всіх його ме́шканців! |
17 And they shall take up lamentations over you, and say to you, How you are destroyed, O you inhabitant of the seas, O fortified city, which was strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all the inhabitants thereof! |
|
18 Тепер затремтять острови́ в дні упадку твого́, і жахну́ться всі ті острови́, що на морі, твоєю загу́бою. |
18 Now shall the isles tremble in the day of your fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled in the day of your fall. |
|
19 Бо так Господь Бог промовляє: Коли Я тебе оберну́ на спусто́шене місто, немов ті міста́, що вони не заме́шкані, коли підійму́ Я безодню на тебе, і велика вода тебе вкриє, |
19 For thus says the LORD God to Tyre: When I shall make you a desolate city, like the cities theft are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon you, and great waters shall cover you; |
|
20 то зни́жу тебе ра́зом з тими, що сходять в могилу, до преда́внього люду, і в підзе́мній землі осаджу́ я тебе, як руїни відві́чні, із тими, що сходять в могилу, щоб ізно́ву ти не засели́вся, і в країні живих більш не жив! |
20 When I shall bring you down with those who descend into the grave, with the people of old time, and shall set you in the lowest parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with those that go down into the pit, that you be not inhabited; and I will not cause your resurrection in the land of the living: |
|
21 За по́страх тебе учиню́, — і не буде тебе, і будуть шукати тебе, — та вже більше не зна́йдуть навіки, говорить оце́ Господь Бог!“ |
21 I will give you to destruction, you will be sought for, yet you will not be found again for ever, says the LORD God. |
