Розділ 10

1 І взяли́ Ааро́нові сини, Нада́в та Аві́гу, кожен кадильницю свою, і дали́ в них огню, і поклали на ньому кадило, і прине́сли перед Господнє лице чужий огонь, якого Він не наказав був прино́сити їм.

2 І вийшов огонь від лиця Господнього, та й спалив їх, — і вони повмирали перед Господнім лицем.

3 І сказав Мойсей до Ааро́на: „Це те, про що говорив був Господь, кажучи: Серед близьки́х Моїх Я буду освя́чений, і перед усім наро́дом буду просла́влений“. І замовк Аарон.

4 І покликав Мойсей Мисаїла та Елцафана, синів Уззіїла, Ааро́нового дя́дька, та й промовив до них: „Підійдіть, винесіть братів своїх із святині поза та́бір“.

5 І вони підійшли, та й винесли їх в їхніх хітонах поза та́бір, як наказав був Мойсей.

6 І сказав Мойсей до Аарона, та до Елеазара й до Ітамара, синів його: „Голів ваших не відкривайте, і одеж ваших не роздирайте, — щоб вам не померти, і щоб на всю громаду не розгнівався Він. А брати ваші, — увесь дім Ізраїлів будуть оплакувати те спа́лення, що спалив Господь.

7 А зо входу скинії заповіту не ви́йдете ви, щоб не померти, бо на вас олива Господнього пома́зання“. І зробили вони за Мойсеєвим словом.

8 А Господь промовляв до Ааро́на, говорячи:

9 „Вина та п'янко́го напою не пий ані ти, ані сини твої з тобою при вході вашім до скинії заповіту, — щоб вам не померти. Це вічна постанова для ваших поколінь,

10 і щоб розрізняти між святістю й між несвятістю, і між нечистим та між чистим,

11 і щоб навчати Ізра́їлевих синів усіх постанов, про що́ говорив до них Господь через Мойсея“.

12 І Мойсей промовляв до Ааро́на та до Елеазара й до Ітамара, позосталих синів його: „Візьміть хлі́бну жертву, полишену з огняни́х Господніх же́ртов, та й їжте її прісну при жертівнику, бо це — Найсвятіше.

13 І будете їсти її в місці святому, бо вона — уставова пайка твоя й уставова пайка синів твоїх з огняни́х жертов Господніх, бо так мені наказано.

14 А грудину колиха́ння та стегно́ прино́шення будете їсти в місці чистому, ти й сини твої, та твої до́чки з тобою, бо уставова пайка твоя й уставова пайка синів твоїх дані з мирних жертов Ізраїлевих синів.

15 Стегно́ прино́шення й груди́ну колиха́ння на огняни́х жертвах лою принесуть вони, щоб колихати як колихання перед Господнім лицем. І буде це для тебе та для синів твоїх з тобою на вічну постанову, як наказав Господь“.

16 А козла жертви за гріх пильно шукав Мойсей, і ось він був спа́лений. І розгнівався на Елеазара й на Ітамара, позосталих Ааронових синів, кажучи:

17 „Чому ви не з'їли жертви за гріх у місці святому? Бо вона — Найсвятіше, і її я дав вам, щоб унева́жнити провину громади, щоб очистити їх перед Господнім лицем.

18 Тож не внесено крови її до святині всере́дину. Будете конче їсти її в святині, як я наказав“.

19 І промовляв Ааро́н до Мойсея: „От сьогодні прине́сли вони свою жертву за гріх і цілопа́лення своє перед Господнє лице, — і трапилося мені оце. А буду я їсти жертву за гріх сьогодні, — чи буде це добре в Господніх оча́х?“

20 І почув Мойсей, — і було́ це добре в його оча́х.

Chapter 10

1 And Nadab5070 and Abihu,30 the sons1121 of Aaron,175 took3947 either376 of them his censer,4289 and put5414 fire784 therein,2004 and put7760 incense7004 thereon,5921 and offered7126 strange2114 fire784 before6440 the LORD,3068 which834 he commanded6680 them not.

2 And there went3318 out fire784 from the LORD,3068 and devoured398 them, and they died4191 before6440 the LORD.3068

3 Then Moses4872 said559 to Aaron,175 This1931 is it that the LORD3068 spoke,1696 saying,559 I will be sanctified6942 in them that come7138 near7138 me, and before5921 6440 all3605 the people5971 I will be glorified.3513 And Aaron175 held1826 his peace.1826

4 And Moses4872 called7121 Mishael4332 and Elzaphan,469 the sons1121 of Uzziel5816 the uncle1730 of Aaron,175 and said559 to them, Come7126 near,7126 carry5375 your brothers251 from before6440 the sanctuary6944 out of the camp.4264

5 So they went7126 near,7126 and carried5375 them in their coats3801 out of the camp;4264 as Moses4872 had said.1696

6 And Moses4872 said559 to Aaron,175 and to Eleazar499 and to Ithamar,385 his sons,1121 Uncover6544 not your heads,7218 neither3808 rend6533 your clothes;899 lest3808 you die,4191 and lest wrath7107 come on all3605 the people:5712 but let your brothers,251 the whole3605 house1004 of Israel,3478 mourn1058 the burning8316 which834 the LORD3068 has kindled.8313

7 And you shall not go3318 out from the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation,4150 lest6435 you die:4191 for the anointing4888 oil8081 of the LORD3068 is on you. And they did6213 according to the word1697 of Moses.4872

8 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 to Aaron,175 saying,559

9 Do not drink8354 wine3196 nor strong drink,7941 you, nor your sons1121 with you, when you go935 into413 the tabernacle168 of the congregation,4150 lest3808 you die:4191 it shall be a statute2708 for ever5769 throughout your generations:1755

10 And that you may put difference914 between996 holy6944 and unholy,2455 and between996 unclean2931 and clean;2889

11 And that you may teach3384 the children1121 of Israel3478 all3605 the statutes2706 which834 the LORD3068 has spoken1696 to them by the hand3027 of Moses.4872

12 And Moses4872 spoke1696 to Aaron,175 and to Eleazar499 and to Ithamar,385 his sons1121 that were left,3498 Take3947 the meat offering4503 that remains3498 of the offerings of the LORD3068 made by fire, and eat398 it without4682 leaven4682 beside681 the altar:4196 for it is most6944 holy:6944

13 And you shall eat398 it in the holy6918 place,4725 because3588 it is your due,2706 and your sons'1121 due,2706 of the sacrifices of the LORD3068 made by fire: for so3651 I am commanded.6680

14 And the wave8573 breast2373 and heave8641 shoulder7785 shall you eat398 in a clean2889 place;4725 you, and your sons,1121 and your daughters1323 with you: for they be your due,2706 and your sons'1121 due,2706 which are given5414 out of the sacrifices2077 of peace8002 offerings of the children1121 of Israel.3478

15 The heave8641 shoulder7785 and the wave8573 breast2373 shall they bring935 with the offerings made by fire of the fat,2459 to wave5130 it for a wave8573 offering before6440 the LORD;3068 and it shall be yours, and your sons'1121 with you, by a statute2706 for ever;5769 as the LORD3068 has commanded.6680

16 And Moses4872 diligently sought1875 the goat8163 of the sin2403 offering, and, behold,2009 it was burnt:8313 and he was angry7107 with Eleazar499 and Ithamar,385 the sons1121 of Aaron175 which were left3498 alive, saying,559

17 Why4069 have you not eaten398 the sin2403 offering in the holy6944 place,4725 seeing3588 it is most6944 holy,6944 and God has given5414 it you to bear5375 the iniquity5771 of the congregation,5712 to make atonement3722 for them before6440 the LORD?

18 Behold,2005 the blood1818 of it was not brought935 in within6441 the holy6944 place: you should indeed have eaten398 it in the holy6944 place, as I commanded.6680

19 And Aaron175 said1696 to Moses,4872 Behold,2005 this day3117 have they offered7126 their sin2403 offering and their burnt5930 offering before6440 the LORD;3068 and such428 things have befallen7122 me: and if I had eaten398 the sin2403 offering to day,3117 should it have been accepted3190 in the sight5869 of the LORD?3068

20 And when Moses4872 heard8085 that, he was content.3190

5 І вони підійшли, та й винесли їх в їхніх хітонах поза та́бір, як наказав був Мойсей.

5 So they went7126 near,7126 and carried5375 them in their coats3801 out of the camp;4264 as Moses4872 had said.1696

6 І сказав Мойсей до Аарона, та до Елеазара й до Ітамара, синів його: „Голів ваших не відкривайте, і одеж ваших не роздирайте, — щоб вам не померти, і щоб на всю громаду не розгнівався Він. А брати ваші, — увесь дім Ізраїлів будуть оплакувати те спа́лення, що спалив Господь.

7 А зо входу скинії заповіту не ви́йдете ви, щоб не померти, бо на вас олива Господнього пома́зання“. І зробили вони за Мойсеєвим словом.

8 А Господь промовляв до Ааро́на, говорячи:

12 And Moses4872 spoke1696 to Aaron,175 and to Eleazar499 and to Ithamar,385 his sons1121 that were left,3498 Take3947 the meat offering4503 that remains3498 of the offerings of the LORD3068 made by fire, and eat398 it without4682 leaven4682 beside681 the altar:4196 for it is most6944 holy:6944

13 І будете їсти її в місці святому, бо вона — уставова пайка твоя й уставова пайка синів твоїх з огняни́х жертов Господніх, бо так мені наказано.

13 And you shall eat398 it in the holy6918 place,4725 because3588 it is your due,2706 and your sons'1121 due,2706 of the sacrifices of the LORD3068 made by fire: for so3651 I am commanded.6680

14 А грудину колиха́ння та стегно́ прино́шення будете їсти в місці чистому, ти й сини твої, та твої до́чки з тобою, бо уставова пайка твоя й уставова пайка синів твоїх дані з мирних жертов Ізраїлевих синів.

14 And the wave8573 breast2373 and heave8641 shoulder7785 shall you eat398 in a clean2889 place;4725 you, and your sons,1121 and your daughters1323 with you: for they be your due,2706 and your sons'1121 due,2706 which are given5414 out of the sacrifices2077 of peace8002 offerings of the children1121 of Israel.3478

15 Стегно́ прино́шення й груди́ну колиха́ння на огняни́х жертвах лою принесуть вони, щоб колихати як колихання перед Господнім лицем. І буде це для тебе та для синів твоїх з тобою на вічну постанову, як наказав Господь“.

18 Тож не внесено крови її до святині всере́дину. Будете конче їсти її в святині, як я наказав“.

19 І промовляв Ааро́н до Мойсея: „От сьогодні прине́сли вони свою жертву за гріх і цілопа́лення своє перед Господнє лице, — і трапилося мені оце. А буду я їсти жертву за гріх сьогодні, — чи буде це добре в Господніх оча́х?“

19 And Aaron175 said1696 to Moses,4872 Behold,2005 this day3117 have they offered7126 their sin2403 offering and their burnt5930 offering before6440 the LORD;3068 and such428 things have befallen7122 me: and if I had eaten398 the sin2403 offering to day,3117 should it have been accepted3190 in the sight5869 of the LORD?3068

20 І почув Мойсей, — і було́ це добре в його оча́х.
