Розділ 3

1 І сказав Він до мене: „Сину лю́дський, з'їж, що зна́йдеш! З'їж цього зво́я, і йди, говори до Ізраїлевого дому!“

2 І відкрив я свої уста, і Він дав мені з'їсти цього зво́я.

3 І сказав Він до мене: „Сину лю́дський, нагодуй свого живота, і напо́вни своє нутро́ тим звоєм, що даю Я тобі!“ І я з'їв. І був він в устах моїх солодкий, як мед.

4 І сказав Він до мене: „Сину лю́дський, іди, ввійди до Ізраїлевого дому, і говори до них Моїми слова́ми.

5 Бо ти по́сланий не до наро́ду чужої мови та тяжко́го язика, але до Ізра́їлевого дому,

6 не до числе́нних наро́дів чужої мови та тяжко́го язика, що ти не розумієш їхніх слів. Та коли б і до них посла́в тебе, вони будуть слухати тебе!

7 Але́ Ізраїлів дім не захоче слу́хатися тебе, бо вони не хо́чуть слухатися Мене, бо ввесь Ізраїлів дім — твердоло́бі та жорстокосе́рді вони!

8 Ось Я зробив твоє обличчя тверди́м проти їхнього обличчя, і чоло́ твоє тверди́м проти ло́ба їхнього.

9 Як той діяма́нт, тверді́шим від скелі, зробив Я чоло́ твоє, — не бійся їх, і не лякайся перед ними, бо вони дім ворохо́бности!“

10 І сказав Він до мене: „Сину лю́дський, усі Мої слова́, які говорю́ Я до тебе, візьми в своє серце та слухай ву́хами своїми.

11 І йди, піди до вигна́нців, до синів твого наро́ду, і будеш говорити до них і скажеш їм: Так говорить Господь Бог, — а вони чи послухаються, чи занеха́ють“.

12 I підійняв мене Дух, і я почув за собою гу́ркіт громово́го голосу: „Благослове́нна слава Господня!“ із свого місця,

13 і шум крил живих істот, що дотика́лись одне об о́дне, і цо́кіт коліс рівноча́сно з ними, і гу́ркіт громово́го голосу!

14 І Дух підійняв мене, і взяв мене, і йшов я огі́рчений в лю́тості духа свого, а Господня рука була надо мною сильна́!

15 І прийшов я до вигна́нців в Тел-Авіві, що сидять при річці Кева́р, і там, де вони сидять, сидів і я там серед них сім день остовпі́лий.

16 I сталося в кінці семи день, і було слово Господнє до мене таке:

17 „Сину лю́дський, Я настанови́в тебе вартови́м для Ізраїлевого дому, — і як почуєш ти слово з уст Моїх, то остережи́ їх від Мене.

18 Коли Я скажу́ безбожному: „Конче помреш“, а ти не остереже́ш його й не будеш говорити, щоб остерегти́ несправедливого від його несправедливої дороги, щоб він жив, то цей безбожний помре за свою провину, а його кров Я зажада́ю з твоєї руки!

19 Але ти, коли остереже́ш несправедливого, а він не ве́рнеться від своєї несправедливости та від своєї несправедливої дороги, він помре за свою провину, а ти душу свою врятува́в.

20 А коли праведний відвернеться від своєї справедливости та зробить кривду, то я покладу́ спотика́ння перед ним, — і він помре, бо ти не остеріг його. Він за гріх свій помре, і не згадаються його праведні вчинки, які він робив, і кров його з твоєї руки Я буду жадати!

21 А ти, коли остереже́ш справедливого, щоб справедливий не грішив, і він не згрішив, то жити — буде він жити, бо був остере́жений, а ти душу свою врятував“.

22 І була́ там надо мною Господня рука, і сказав Він до мене: „Устань, вийди до долини, і там Я бу́ду говорити з тобою“.

23 І встав я, і вийшов до долини, аж ось там стояла слава Господня, як та слава, яку я бачив над річкою Кева́р. І впав я на обличчя своє.

24 Та ввійшов у мене Дух, і звів мене на но́ги мої. І Він говорив зо мною й сказав мені: „Увійди, замкни́ся в сере́дині свого дому!

25 А ти, сину лю́дський, — ось дадуть на тебе шну́ри, і зв'яжуть тебе ними, і ти не ви́йдеш з-поміж них!

26 А язик твій приліплю́ до твого піднебі́ння, і ти занімієш, і не будеш їм більш докоряти, бо вони — дім ворохо́бний.

27 А коли Я говоритиму з тобою, то відкрию твої уста, і ти скажеш до них: „Так говорить Господь Бог“. Хто хоче слухати — нехай слухає, а хто хоче занеха́ти — нехай занеха́є, бо вони дім ворохо́бний!

1 Moreover he said559 to me, Son1121 of man,120 eat398 that you find;4672 eat398 this2063 roll,4040 and go3212 speak1696 to the house1004 of Israel.3478

2 So I opened6605 my mouth,6310 and he caused me to eat398 that roll.4040

3 And he said559 to me, Son1121 of man,120 cause your belly990 to eat,398 and fill4390 your bowels4578 with this2063 roll4040 that I give5414 you. Then did I eat398 it; and it was in my mouth6310 as honey1706 for sweetness.4966

4 And he said559 to me, Son1121 of man,120 go,3212 get935 you to the house1004 of Israel,3478 and speak1696 with my words1697 to them.

5 For you are not sent7971 to a people5971 of a strange6012 speech8193 and of an hard3515 language,3956 but to the house1004 of Israel;3478

6 Not to many7227 people5971 of a strange6012 speech8193 and of an hard3515 language,3956 whose834 words1697 you can not understand.8085 Surely,518 3808 had I sent7971 you to them, they would have listened8085 to you.

7 But the house1004 of Israel3478 will14 not listen8085 to you; for they will14 not listen8085 to me: for all3605 the house1004 of Israel3478 are impudent2389 4696 and hardhearted.7186 3820

8 Behold,2009 I have made5414 your face6440 strong2389 against5980 their faces,6440 and your forehead4696 strong2389 against5980 their foreheads.4696

9 As an adamant8068 harder2389 than flint6864 have I made5414 your forehead:4696 fear3372 them not, neither3808 be dismayed2865 at their looks,6440 though they be a rebellious4805 house.1004

10 Moreover he said559 to me, Son1121 of man,120 all3605 my words1697 that I shall speak1696 to you receive3947 in your heart,3824 and hear8085 with your ears.241

11 And go,3212 get935 you to them of the captivity,1473 to the children1121 of your people,5971 and speak1696 to them, and tell559 them, Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 whether518 they will hear,8085 or whether518 they will forbear.2308

12 Then the spirit7307 took5375 me up, and I heard8085 behind310 me a voice6963 of a great1419 rushing,7494 saying, Blessed1288 be the glory3519 of the LORD3068 from his place.4725

13 I heard8085 also the noise6963 of the wings3671 of the living2416 creatures2416 that touched5401 one802 another,269 and the noise6963 of the wheels212 over5980 against5980 them, and a noise6963 of a great1419 rushing.7494

14 So the spirit7307 lifted5375 me up, and took3947 me away, and I went3212 in bitterness,4751 in the heat2534 of my spirit;7307 but the hand3027 of the LORD3068 was strong2388 on me.

15 Then I came935 to them of the captivity1473 at Telabib,8512 that dwelled3427 by the river5104 of Chebar,3529 and I sat3427 where8033 they sat,3427 and remained3427 there8033 astonished8074 among8432 them seven7651 days.3117

16 And it came1961 to pass at the end7097 of seven7651 days,3117 that the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559

17 Son1121 of man,120 I have made5414 you a watchman6822 to the house1004 of Israel:3478 therefore hear8085 the word1697 at my mouth,6310 and give them warning2094 from me.

18 When I say559 to the wicked,7563 You shall surely die;4191 and you give him not warning,2094 nor3808 speak1696 to warn2094 the wicked7563 from his wicked7563 way,1870 to save2421 his life;2421 the same1931 wicked7563 man shall die4191 in his iniquity;5771 but his blood1818 will I require1245 at your hand.3027

19 Yet if3588 you warn2094 the wicked,7563 and he turn7725 not from his wickedness,7562 nor from his wicked7563 way,1870 he shall die4191 in his iniquity;5771 but you have delivered5337 your soul.5315

20 Again,7725 When a righteous6662 man does turn7725 from his righteousness,6664 and commit6213 iniquity,5766 and I lay5414 a stumbling-block4383 before6440 him, he shall die:4191 because3588 you have not given him warning,2094 he shall die4191 in his sin,2403 and his righteousness6666 which834 he has done6213 shall not be remembered;2142 but his blood1818 will I require1245 at your hand.3027

21 Nevertheless if3588 you warn2094 the righteous6662 man, that the righteous6662 sin2398 not, and he does not sin,2398 he shall surely live,2421 because3588 he is warned;2094 also you have delivered5337 your soul.5315

22 And the hand3027 of the LORD3068 was there8033 on me; and he said559 to me, Arise,6965 go3318 forth3318 into413 the plain,1237 and I will there8033 talk1696 with you.

23 Then I arose,6965 and went3318 forth3318 into413 the plain:1237 and, behold,2009 the glory3519 of the LORD3068 stood5975 there,8033 as the glory3519 which834 I saw7200 by the river5104 of Chebar:3529 and I fell5307 on5921 my face.6440

24 Then the spirit7307 entered935 into me, and set5975 me on my feet,7272 and spoke1696 with me, and said559 to me, Go,935 shut5462 yourself within8432 your house.1004

25 But you, O son1121 of man,120 behold,2009 they shall put5414 bands5688 on you, and shall bind631 you with them, and you shall not go3318 out among8432 them:

26 And I will make your tongue3956 sticks1692 to the roof2441 of your mouth,2441 that you shall be dumb,481 and shall not be to them a reprover:3198 for they are a rebellious4805 house.1004

27 But when I speak1696 with you, I will open6605 your mouth,6310 and you shall say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 He that hears,8085 let him hear;8085 and he that declines,2310 let him forbear:2308 for they are a rebellious4805 house.1004

2 І відкрив я свої уста, і Він дав мені з'їсти цього зво́я.

3 І сказав Він до мене: „Сину лю́дський, нагодуй свого живота, і напо́вни своє нутро́ тим звоєм, що даю Я тобі!“ І я з'їв. І був він в устах моїх солодкий, як мед.

5 Бо ти по́сланий не до наро́ду чужої мови та тяжко́го язика, але до Ізра́їлевого дому,

5 For you are not sent7971 to a people5971 of a strange6012 speech8193 and of an hard3515 language,3956 but to the house1004 of Israel;3478

6 не до числе́нних наро́дів чужої мови та тяжко́го язика, що ти не розумієш їхніх слів. Та коли б і до них посла́в тебе, вони будуть слухати тебе!

6 Not to many7227 people5971 of a strange6012 speech8193 and of an hard3515 language,3956 whose834 words1697 you can not understand.8085 Surely,518 3808 had I sent7971 you to them, they would have listened8085 to you.

7 Але́ Ізраїлів дім не захоче слу́хатися тебе, бо вони не хо́чуть слухатися Мене, бо ввесь Ізраїлів дім — твердоло́бі та жорстокосе́рді вони!

7 But the house1004 of Israel3478 will14 not listen8085 to you; for they will14 not listen8085 to me: for all3605 the house1004 of Israel3478 are impudent2389 4696 and hardhearted.7186 3820

8 Ось Я зробив твоє обличчя тверди́м проти їхнього обличчя, і чоло́ твоє тверди́м проти ло́ба їхнього.

8 Behold,2009 I have made5414 your face6440 strong2389 against5980 their faces,6440 and your forehead4696 strong2389 against5980 their foreheads.4696

9 Як той діяма́нт, тверді́шим від скелі, зробив Я чоло́ твоє, — не бійся їх, і не лякайся перед ними, бо вони дім ворохо́бности!“

11 І йди, піди до вигна́нців, до синів твого наро́ду, і будеш говорити до них і скажеш їм: Так говорить Господь Бог, — а вони чи послухаються, чи занеха́ють“.

11 And go,3212 get935 you to them of the captivity,1473 to the children1121 of your people,5971 and speak1696 to them, and tell559 them, Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 whether518 they will hear,8085 or whether518 they will forbear.2308

12 I підійняв мене Дух, і я почув за собою гу́ркіт громово́го голосу: „Благослове́нна слава Господня!“ із свого місця,

12 Then the spirit7307 took5375 me up, and I heard8085 behind310 me a voice6963 of a great1419 rushing,7494 saying, Blessed1288 be the glory3519 of the LORD3068 from his place.4725

13 і шум крил живих істот, що дотика́лись одне об о́дне, і цо́кіт коліс рівноча́сно з ними, і гу́ркіт громово́го голосу!

13 I heard8085 also the noise6963 of the wings3671 of the living2416 creatures2416 that touched5401 one802 another,269 and the noise6963 of the wheels212 over5980 against5980 them, and a noise6963 of a great1419 rushing.7494

14 І Дух підійняв мене, і взяв мене, і йшов я огі́рчений в лю́тості духа свого, а Господня рука була надо мною сильна́!

14 So the spirit7307 lifted5375 me up, and took3947 me away, and I went3212 in bitterness,4751 in the heat2534 of my spirit;7307 but the hand3027 of the LORD3068 was strong2388 on me.

15 І прийшов я до вигна́нців в Тел-Авіві, що сидять при річці Кева́р, і там, де вони сидять, сидів і я там серед них сім день остовпі́лий.

16 I сталося в кінці семи день, і було слово Господнє до мене таке:

16 And it came1961 to pass at the end7097 of seven7651 days,3117 that the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559

17 „Сину лю́дський, Я настанови́в тебе вартови́м для Ізраїлевого дому, — і як почуєш ти слово з уст Моїх, то остережи́ їх від Мене.

18 Коли Я скажу́ безбожному: „Конче помреш“, а ти не остереже́ш його й не будеш говорити, щоб остерегти́ несправедливого від його несправедливої дороги, щоб він жив, то цей безбожний помре за свою провину, а його кров Я зажада́ю з твоєї руки!

18 When I say559 to the wicked,7563 You shall surely die;4191 and you give him not warning,2094 nor3808 speak1696 to warn2094 the wicked7563 from his wicked7563 way,1870 to save2421 his life;2421 the same1931 wicked7563 man shall die4191 in his iniquity;5771 but his blood1818 will I require1245 at your hand.3027

19 Але ти, коли остереже́ш несправедливого, а він не ве́рнеться від своєї несправедливости та від своєї несправедливої дороги, він помре за свою провину, а ти душу свою врятува́в.

19 Yet if3588 you warn2094 the wicked,7563 and he turn7725 not from his wickedness,7562 nor from his wicked7563 way,1870 he shall die4191 in his iniquity;5771 but you have delivered5337 your soul.5315

20 А коли праведний відвернеться від своєї справедливости та зробить кривду, то я покладу́ спотика́ння перед ним, — і він помре, бо ти не остеріг його. Він за гріх свій помре, і не згадаються його праведні вчинки, які він робив, і кров його з твоєї руки Я буду жадати!

20 Again,7725 When a righteous6662 man does turn7725 from his righteousness,6664 and commit6213 iniquity,5766 and I lay5414 a stumbling-block4383 before6440 him, he shall die:4191 because3588 you have not given him warning,2094 he shall die4191 in his sin,2403 and his righteousness6666 which834 he has done6213 shall not be remembered;2142 but his blood1818 will I require1245 at your hand.3027

21 А ти, коли остереже́ш справедливого, щоб справедливий не грішив, і він не згрішив, то жити — буде він жити, бо був остере́жений, а ти душу свою врятував“.

21 Nevertheless if3588 you warn2094 the righteous6662 man, that the righteous6662 sin2398 not, and he does not sin,2398 he shall surely live,2421 because3588 he is warned;2094 also you have delivered5337 your soul.5315

22 І була́ там надо мною Господня рука, і сказав Він до мене: „Устань, вийди до долини, і там Я бу́ду говорити з тобою“.

22 And the hand3027 of the LORD3068 was there8033 on me; and he said559 to me, Arise,6965 go3318 forth3318 into413 the plain,1237 and I will there8033 talk1696 with you.

23 І встав я, і вийшов до долини, аж ось там стояла слава Господня, як та слава, яку я бачив над річкою Кева́р. І впав я на обличчя своє.

23 Then I arose,6965 and went3318 forth3318 into413 the plain:1237 and, behold,2009 the glory3519 of the LORD3068 stood5975 there,8033 as the glory3519 which834 I saw7200 by the river5104 of Chebar:3529 and I fell5307 on5921 my face.6440

24 Та ввійшов у мене Дух, і звів мене на но́ги мої. І Він говорив зо мною й сказав мені: „Увійди, замкни́ся в сере́дині свого дому!

24 Then the spirit7307 entered935 into me, and set5975 me on my feet,7272 and spoke1696 with me, and said559 to me, Go,935 shut5462 yourself within8432 your house.1004

25 А ти, сину лю́дський, — ось дадуть на тебе шну́ри, і зв'яжуть тебе ними, і ти не ви́йдеш з-поміж них!

25 But you, O son1121 of man,120 behold,2009 they shall put5414 bands5688 on you, and shall bind631 you with them, and you shall not go3318 out among8432 them:

26 А язик твій приліплю́ до твого піднебі́ння, і ти занімієш, і не будеш їм більш докоряти, бо вони — дім ворохо́бний.

26 And I will make your tongue3956 sticks1692 to the roof2441 of your mouth,2441 that you shall be dumb,481 and shall not be to them a reprover:3198 for they are a rebellious4805 house.1004

27 А коли Я говоритиму з тобою, то відкрию твої уста, і ти скажеш до них: „Так говорить Господь Бог“. Хто хоче слухати — нехай слухає, а хто хоче занеха́ти — нехай занеха́є, бо вони дім ворохо́бний!

27 But when I speak1696 with you, I will open6605 your mouth,6310 and you shall say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 He that hears,8085 let him hear;8085 and he that declines,2310 let him forbear:2308 for they are a rebellious4805 house.1004
