Книга пророка Исаии

Глава 14

1 В будущем Господь снова покажет Свою любовь к Иакову, снова изберёт израильтян и отдаст им их землю, и тогда к Иудее присоединятся неиудейские народы и станут единой семьёй Иакова.

2 Эти народы приведут народ Израиля обратно в израильские земли, и Израиль сделает их своими рабами и рабынями. Израиль победит своих прежних угнетателей и будет господствовать над ними.

3 В прошлом ты, Израиль, был рабом, но Господь избавит тебя от тяжкого гнёта, которым ты был порабощён.

4 И тогда ты начнёшь петь песнь о вавилонском царе: «Был царь мучителем, когда он нами правил, но кончилось правление его.

5 Господь разбивает скипетры жестоких правителей и отнимает у них могущество.

6 В гневе вавилонский царь без устали избивал народ! В гневе он преследовал народ, и не прекращалось преследование это!

7 Но ныне отдыхает вся страна, все люди праздничны.

8 Ты, царь, жестоким был, но больше нет тебя. И даже сосны счастливы, и кедр ливанский рад, и говорят деревья: „Нас царь срубил, но пал теперь, и никогда ему отныне не подняться”.

9 Лишь преисподняя рада царскому приходу. Она пробудила призраков всех древних правителей земли и подняла царей других народов с их престолов, чтоб встретили они в преисподней владыку Вавилона.

10 Они смеяться будут, говоря: „Теперь ты тоже мёртв, ты тоже, как и мы, бессилен!”

11 Низверглась в преисподнюю гордыня царская, и звуки арф приход твоей гордыни предвещают. Черви будут постелью, на которую возляжешь, червями будешь, словно одеялом, ты покрыт.

12 Ты утренней звездою был, но пал с небес. Недавно все народы перед тобой гнулись, но теперь ты срублен.

13 Ты говорил: „Я словно Бог Всевышний взойду на небо, поставлю трон свой среди звёзд, воссяду на священной горе на совет с богами.

14 Я взойду на небесный алтарь и стану подобен Богу Всевышнему”.

15 Но вместо небес ты низвержен в глубины преисподней.

16 Смотрящие на тебя видят мёртвое тело и говорят: „Тот ли это человек, который наводил ужас на все царства земные,

17 города сравнял с землёй, превращая всё в пустыню, забирал пленных и уводил с собою их?”

18 Все цари были похоронены с почестями, и каждый царь заслужил могилу.

19 Но ты, жестокий, был из могилы выброшен как ветвь гниющая, которую срубили. Ты словно мертвец на поле битвы, затоптанный другими. Ты, завёрнутый в погребальную одежду, не отличаешься ничем от прочих мёртвых.

20 У всех умерших царей есть могилы, но с ними не соединишься ты за то, что ты свою страну разрушил и убил народ свой. Именно поэтому твои злобные потомки будут остановлены.

21 Убить его детей готовы будьте за беззакония отца: они вовек не будут править и мир не застроят никогда своими городами».

22 Господь Всемогущий сказал: «Восстану Я и уничтожу известный город Вавилон, всех его жителей, их детей, внуков и правнуков.

23 Я сделаю Вавилон пристанищем для зверей и превращу его в болото. Я смету Вавилон „метлой разрушения”».

24 Господь Всемогущий поклялся, сказав: «Обещаю, что, как Я задумал, так и сбудется, как Я предначертал, так и совершится.

25 Царя Ассирии Я уничтожу в Моей стране, Я растопчу его в Моих горах. Он заставил Мой народ быть его рабами, он надел людям на шеи ярмо, но они освободятся от этого бремени.

26 Вот что Я сделать задумал для Моего народа, и силою Своею Я исполню задуманное и накажу всех людей».

27 Что замышляет Господь, никто не отменит, когда поднимает Господь руку для наказания, никто Его не остановит.

28 Это пророчество было в год смерти царя Ахаза.

29 Ты счастлива, земля филистимлян, потому что царь, поразивший тебя, мёртв. Но не слишком радуйся, потому что, хотя его время кончилось, придёт его сын и будет править, как будто змея породит ещё более ядовитую змею, которая будет для тебя очень опасна.

30 Тогда бедные будут накормлены, их дети будут вне опасности, но твою семью Я уморю голодом, и даже те, кто выжили, умрут.

31 Плачьте у городских ворот, плачьте все, кто в городе. Все филистимляне изведают страх, их смелость растает как воск. Посмотрите на север, там облако пыли, ассирийская армия близится, её воины сильны.

32 Они пошлют гонцов домой, и что же их вестники скажут? Весть их будет такой: «Филистимляне побеждены, Господь сделал сильным Сион, и Его бедный народ найдёт убежище в том городе».

Chapter 14

1 FOR the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and will set them in their own land; and strangers shall accompany them, and they shall add to the house of Jacob.

2 And the Gentiles shall take them and bring them to their place; and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for men-servants and women-servants; and they shall take them captive, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give you rest from your sorrow and from your anger and from the hard bondage wherein you were made to serve.

4 You shall take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How has the ruler ceased! the zealous one ceased!

5 The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked and the sceptre of the rulers.

6 He who smote the peoples in wrath, smiting without instruction, who chastised the peoples in anger and persecuted them without pity.

7 The whole earth is at rest and is quiet; they break forth into singing.

8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice over you, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since you are felled, no hewer is come up to cut us down.

9 Sheol beneath is murmuring at your coming; it stirs up against you all the mighty men, even all the rulers of the earth whom you overthrew from their thrones.

10 All the kings of the nations shall answer and say to you, Are you also become weak as we? Are you become like us?

11 Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, the noise of your harps is dead; the dust is spread under you, and the worms cover you.

12 How are you fallen from heaven! howl in the morning! for you have fallen down to the ground, O reviler of the nations.

13 For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will dwell also upon the high mountains in the outer regions of the north.

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15 From henceforth you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the bottom of the pit.

16 Those who see you shall stare at you and consider you, saying, Is this the man who made the earth to tremble, who shook kingdoms;

17 Who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities; who did not free his prisoners?

18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.

19 But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable person, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through by the sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as corpses trodden under foot.

20 You shall not rejoice with them in the grave, because you have destroyed your land and slain your people; the offspring of the evildoer shall never rise again.

21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with war.

22 For I will rise up against them, says the LORD of hosts, and will cut off from Babylon the name, its offspring, the family, and its generation, says the LORD.

23 I will also make it a possession for owls, and pools of water; and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction, says the LORD of hosts.

24 The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand;

25 I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot; then his yoke shall depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.

26 This is the end that is purposed against all the earth; and this is the land that is stretched out against all the nations.

27 For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who can disannul it? And his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

28 The conquest of Philistia. In the year that King Ahaz died, came this burden.

29 Rejoice not, whole Philistia, because the rod of him that smote you is broken; for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a viper, and its offspring shall be a fiery flying serpent.

30 And the first-born of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety; and I will kill your root with famine, and your remnant I shall slay.

31 Howl, O city; cry, O city; whole Philistia is in confusion; for there shall come from the north a smoke? and none shall be left in their feasts.

32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nations? That the LORD has founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall take refuge in it.

4 И тогда ты начнёшь петь песнь о вавилонском царе: «Был царь мучителем, когда он нами правил, но кончилось правление его.	4 You shall take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How has the ruler ceased! the zealous one ceased!

6 В гневе вавилонский царь без устали избивал народ! В гневе он преследовал народ, и не прекращалось преследование это!	6 He who smote the peoples in wrath, smiting without instruction, who chastised the peoples in anger and persecuted them without pity.
7 Но ныне отдыхает вся страна, все люди праздничны.	7 The whole earth is at rest and is quiet; they break forth into singing.
8 Ты, царь, жестоким был, но больше нет тебя. 9 Лишь преисподняя рада царскому приходу. Она пробудила призраков всех древних правителей земли и подняла царей других народов с их престолов, чтоб встретили они в преисподней владыку Вавилона.	9 Sheol beneath is murmuring at your coming; it stirs up against you all the mighty men, even all the rulers of the earth whom you overthrew from their thrones.
10 Они смеяться будут, говоря: „Теперь ты тоже мёртв, ты тоже, как и мы, бессилен!”	10 All the kings of the nations shall answer and say to you, Are you also become weak as we? Are you become like us?
11 Низверглась в преисподнюю гордыня царская, и звуки арф приход твоей гордыни предвещают. Черви будут постелью, на которую возляжешь, червями будешь, словно одеялом, ты покрыт.	11 Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, the noise of your harps is dead; the dust is spread under you, and the worms cover you.
12 Ты утренней звездою был, но пал с небес. Недавно все народы перед тобой гнулись, но теперь ты срублен.	12 How are you fallen from heaven! howl in the morning! for you have fallen down to the ground, O reviler of the nations.
13 Ты говорил: „Я словно Бог Всевышний взойду на небо, поставлю трон свой среди звёзд, воссяду на священной горе на совет с богами.	13 For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will dwell also upon the high mountains in the outer regions of the north.

16 Смотрящие на тебя видят мёртвое тело и говорят: „Тот ли это человек, который наводил ужас на все царства земные,	16 Those who see you shall stare at you and consider you, saying, Is this the man who made the earth to tremble, who shook kingdoms;
17 города сравнял с землёй, превращая всё в пустыню, забирал пленных и уводил с собою их?”	17 Who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities; who did not free his prisoners?
18 Все цари были похоронены с почестями, и каждый царь заслужил могилу.	18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
19 Но ты, жестокий, был из могилы выброшен как ветвь гниющая, которую срубили. Ты словно мертвец на поле битвы, затоптанный другими. Ты, завёрнутый в погребальную одежду, не отличаешься ничем от прочих мёртвых.	19 But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable person, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through by the sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as corpses trodden under foot.
20 У всех умерших царей есть могилы, но с ними не соединишься ты за то, что ты свою страну разрушил и убил народ свой. Именно поэтому твои злобные потомки будут остановлены.	20 You shall not rejoice with them in the grave, because you have destroyed your land and slain your people; the offspring of the evildoer shall never rise again.
21 Убить его детей готовы будьте за беззакония отца: они вовек не будут править и мир не застроят никогда своими городами».	21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with war.
22 Господь Всемогущий сказал: «Восстану Я и уничтожу известный город Вавилон, всех его жителей, их детей, внуков и правнуков.	22 For I will rise up against them, says the LORD of hosts, and will cut off from Babylon the name, its offspring, the family, and its generation, says the LORD.
