Послание ефесянам

Глава 5

1 Подражайте Богу, будучи Его любимыми детьми.

2 Живите в любви, как и Христос нас полюбил и отдал Самого Себя за нас как жертвенное приношение Богу, в приятное благоухание.

3 Среди вас ни в коем случае не должно быть даже намека на разврат, или другую нечистоту, или жадность — это не подобает святому Божьему народу.

4 В вашей речи не должно быть никаких непристойностей, пустой болтовни или грязных шуток, лучше благодарите Бога.

5 Знайте, что ни один человек: ни предающийся разврату, ни порочный, ни алчный — а это то же самое, что идолопоклонник, — не получит наследства в Царстве Христа и Бога.

6 И пусть никто вас не обманывает, выступая против вышесказанного, потому что непокорность вызывает гнев Божий.

7 Не имейте ничего общего с такими людьми.

8 Когда-то вы были тьмой, но сейчас, когда вы в Господе, вы стали светом. Живите как дети света.

9 А плод света — это всякая доброта, праведность и истина.

10 Старайтесь разузнать, что приятно Господу.

11 Не участвуйте в бесплодных делах тьмы, напротив, обличайте эти дела.

12 О том, чем такие люди занимаются втайне, даже стыдно говорить.

13 Но все тайное при свете становится явным.

14 Свет делает все видимым, поэтому и говорится: «Проснись, спящий! Воскресни из мертвых — и Христос осветит тебя».

15 Итак, смотрите, поступайте осторожно, не как глупые, но как мудрые.

16 Дорожите временем, потому что в эти дни много зла.

17 Не будьте легкомысленны, а лучше старайтесь понять, в чем заключена воля Господа.

18 Не напивайтесь вином, это ведет к распутству. Но лучше исполняйтесь Духом.

19 Наставляйте друг друга псалмами, гимнами и духовными песнопениями. Пойте и прославляйте Господа в ваших сердцах.

20 Всегда и за все благодарите Бога Отца во имя нашего Господа Иисуса Христа.

21 Подчиняйтесь друг другу из страха перед Христом.

22 Вы, жены, подчиняйтесь вашим мужьям, как Господу.

23 Ведь муж — глава своей жене, как и Христос — Глава и Спаситель Церкви — Своего тела.

24 И как Церковь подчиняется Христу, так и жены должны во всем подчиняться своим мужьям.

25 А вы, мужья, любите ваших жен так, как Христос полюбил Свою Церковь. Он Самого Себя отдал за нее,

26 чтобы сделать ее святой, очистив ее водным омовением через слово,

27 чтобы Ему поставить ее перед Собой как славную Церковь, не имеющую пятна, или порока, или чего-то подобного, чтобы она была святой и непорочной.

28 Точно так и мужья должны любить своих жен, любить, как свое собственное тело. Тот, кто любит свою жену, любит самого себя.

29 Ведь нет такого человека, кто бы ненавидел свое тело, но каждый питает свое тело и заботится о нем. Так и Христос заботится о Церкви,

30 потому что мы — члены Его тела.

31 «Поэтому оставит человек отца и мать и соединится со своей женой, и двое станут одной плотью».

32 В этих словах скрыта великая истина, и я говорю вам, что они относятся к взаимоотношениям Христа и Церкви.

33 А что касается вас, пусть каждый муж любит свою жену, как самого себя, и жена пусть почитает своего мужа.

Ephesians

Chapter 5

1 BE therefore God-like, as beloved chil dren.

2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet example.

3 But let not immorality or any uncleanness or covetousness be heard of among you, as becomes saints;

4 Neither cursing, nor foolish words, nor insults, nor words of flattery, none of which are necessary: but instead of these, let thanks be offered.

5 You should know this: that no one guilty of fornication, or unclean person, or covetous man who serves idols, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things the anger of God comes on the children of disobedience.

7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.

8 For previously you were ignorant, but now you have been enlightened by our LORD, and should live therefore like children of light.

9 For the fruits of light are found in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth;

10 And so you must discern that which is acceptable before our LORD.

11 Have no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather condemn them.

12 For it is a shame even to speak of the things that are done by them in secret.

13 For all things that are condemned are exposed by the light: and anything that is made manifest is light.

14 Therefore it is said: Awake thou that sleepest, and rise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

15 Watch therefore, that you live a glorious life, not as foolish men, but as wise men,

16 Who take advantage of their opportunity, for these are difficult days.

17 Wherefore do not lack wisdom, but understand what the will of God is.

18 And do not become drunk with wine, wherein is intemperance; but be filled with the Spirit,

19 Speaking to your souls in psalms and hymns, and in spiritual songs, sing with your heart to the LORD;

20 Giving thanks always for all men to God the Father in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ.

21 Submit yourselves one to another in the love of Christ.

22 Wives submit yourselves to your husbands as to our LORD.

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of its body.

24 Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved his church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it, by the washing of water and by the word,

27 In order to build for himself a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 So should men love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own body; but nourishes it and cherishes it, even as Christ does for his church.

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this reason shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery; but I speak concerning Christ and his church.

33 Nevertheless, let every one of you so love his wife as himself, and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

5 Знайте, что ни один человек: ни предающийся разврату, ни порочный, ни алчный — а это то же самое, что идолопоклонник, — не получит наследства в Царстве Христа и Бога.

5 You should know this: that no one guilty of fornication, or unclean person, or covetous man who serves idols, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

6 И пусть никто вас не обманывает, выступая против вышесказанного, потому что непокорность вызывает гнев Божий.

6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things the anger of God comes on the children of disobedience.

7 Не имейте ничего общего с такими людьми.

7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.

8 Когда-то вы были тьмой, но сейчас, когда вы в Господе, вы стали светом. Живите как дети света.

8 For previously you were ignorant, but now you have been enlightened by our LORD, and should live therefore like children of light.

9 А плод света — это всякая доброта, праведность и истина.

9 For the fruits of light are found in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth;

10 Старайтесь разузнать, что приятно Господу.

10 And so you must discern that which is acceptable before our LORD.

11 Не участвуйте в бесплодных делах тьмы, напротив, обличайте эти дела.

11 Have no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather condemn them.

12 О том, чем такие люди занимаются втайне, даже стыдно говорить.

12 For it is a shame even to speak of the things that are done by them in secret.

13 Но все тайное при свете становится явным.

13 For all things that are condemned are exposed by the light: and anything that is made manifest is light.

14 Свет делает все видимым, поэтому и говорится: «Проснись, спящий! Воскресни из мертвых — и Христос осветит тебя».

14 Therefore it is said: Awake thou that sleepest, and rise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

15 Итак, смотрите, поступайте осторожно, не как глупые, но как мудрые.

15 Watch therefore, that you live a glorious life, not as foolish men, but as wise men,

16 Дорожите временем, потому что в эти дни много зла.

16 Who take advantage of their opportunity, for these are difficult days.

17 Не будьте легкомысленны, а лучше старайтесь понять, в чем заключена воля Господа.

17 Wherefore do not lack wisdom, but understand what the will of God is.

18 Не напивайтесь вином, это ведет к распутству. Но лучше исполняйтесь Духом.

18 And do not become drunk with wine, wherein is intemperance; but be filled with the Spirit,

19 Наставляйте друг друга псалмами, гимнами и духовными песнопениями. Пойте и прославляйте Господа в ваших сердцах.

19 Speaking to your souls in psalms and hymns, and in spiritual songs, sing with your heart to the LORD;

20 Всегда и за все благодарите Бога Отца во имя нашего Господа Иисуса Христа.

20 Giving thanks always for all men to God the Father in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ.

21 Подчиняйтесь друг другу из страха перед Христом.

21 Submit yourselves one to another in the love of Christ.

22 Вы, жены, подчиняйтесь вашим мужьям, как Господу.

22 Wives submit yourselves to your husbands as to our LORD.

23 Ведь муж — глава своей жене, как и Христос — Глава и Спаситель Церкви — Своего тела.

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of its body.

24 И как Церковь подчиняется Христу, так и жены должны во всем подчиняться своим мужьям.

24 Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

25 А вы, мужья, любите ваших жен так, как Христос полюбил Свою Церковь. Он Самого Себя отдал за нее,

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved his church, and gave himself for it;

26 чтобы сделать ее святой, очистив ее водным омовением через слово,

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it, by the washing of water and by the word,

27 чтобы Ему поставить ее перед Собой как славную Церковь, не имеющую пятна, или порока, или чего-то подобного, чтобы она была святой и непорочной.

27 In order to build for himself a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 Точно так и мужья должны любить своих жен, любить, как свое собственное тело. Тот, кто любит свою жену, любит самого себя.

28 So should men love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

29 Ведь нет такого человека, кто бы ненавидел свое тело, но каждый питает свое тело и заботится о нем. Так и Христос заботится о Церкви,

29 For no man ever yet hated his own body; but nourishes it and cherishes it, even as Christ does for his church.

30 потому что мы — члены Его тела.

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 «Поэтому оставит человек отца и мать и соединится со своей женой, и двое станут одной плотью».

32 This is a great mystery; but I speak concerning Christ and his church.
