Глава 7

1 Сын мой, храни изречения мои; и заповеди мои сокрой у себя.

2 Храни заповеди мои, и живи; и учение мое, как зрачок глаз твоих.

3 Навяжи их на персты твои, начертай их на скрижали сердца твоего.

4 Скажи премудрости: `ты сестра моя`; и разуму воззови: `знакомый!`

5 Чтоб они остерегли тебя от жены не своей, от чужой, которая имеет речь ласковую.

6 Однажды в окно из дома моего, сквозь решетку мою, смотрел я,

7 И увидел среди неопытных, усмотрел среди сынов, юношу, потерявшего сердце.

8 Он проходил улицею подле уголка ее, и шел дорогою, ведущею к дому ее,

9 В сумерки, в вечер дня, в ночной темноте, и во мраке;

10 И вот, на встречу к нему женщина в наряде блудницы, с коварным сердцем.

11 Суетливая оная и необузданная; в доме своем не живут ноги ее;

12 То на улице, то на площадях; и подле всякого угла ставит сети.

13 И схватила его, и целовала его, покрыла бесстыдством лицо свое, и говорила ему:

14 `Благодарственная жертва была на мне; сегодня я совершила обеты мои;

15 `Потому вышла на встречу к тебе, чтоб искать лица твоего, и нашла тебя.

16 `Кровать мою я устлала коврами, разноцветными тканями из льна Египетского.

17 `Спальню мою надушила смирною, алоем, и корицею.

18 `Поди, станем упиваться ласками до утра, проведем время в восторгах любви.

19 `Ибо нет мужа в доме своем, пошел в дорогу дальнюю;

20 `Кошелек серебра взял себе в руки; ко дню полнолуния придет в дом свой`.

21 Прельстила его многословием своим, ласкою уст своих увлекла его.

22 Тотчас он пошел за нею, как бык идет на убой, и как на привязь, к наказанию глупого.

23 Доколе стрела не изрежет печени его; как птичка кидается в силки, и не знает, что они поставлены на душу ее.

24 Итак, дети, послушайте меня, и внемлите изречениям уст моих.

25 Пусть не склоняется на дороги ее сердце твое; не заходи на стези ее.

26 Ибо она многих повергла уязвленными, и всех убитых ею великое число.

27 Дом ее - пути в преисподнюю, нисходящие в обители смерти.
