Глава 9

1 Премудрость построила дом Свой, и вытесала семь столпов Своих.

2 Заколола предназначенное ею закланию; растворила вино Свое, и приготовила стол Свой.

3 Послала отроковиц Своих, провозглашала на вершинах городских возвышенностей:

4 `Кто необразован? пусть обратится сюда`. Малосмыслен ли кто, - говорила ему:

5 `Идите, ешьте хлеб Мой, и пейте вино, которое Я растворила,

6 `Оставьте глупости и живите, и прямо ходите путем разума`.

7 Кто учит хульника, тот получит себе бесчестие; и кто дает совет нечестивому, тот опятнает себя.

8 Не давай советов хульнику, чтоб он не возненавидел тебя; дай наставление мудрому, и он возлюбит тебя;

9 Дай мудрому, и он еще более умудрится; вразуми праведника, и приумножит сведения.

10 `Начало премудрости - страх Иеговы; и знание святых есть разум.

11 Так! от Меня умножатся дни твои, и прибавятся тебе лета жизни.

12 Если ты мудр будешь, то для себя будешь мудр; и если хульник будешь, то ты же один будешь терпеть.

13 Глупость - женщина безрассудная, суетливая, и ничего несмыслящая.

14 И сидит у дверей дома своего на стуле, на городских возвышенностях,

15 Чтобы звать проходящих дорогою, идущих прямо своими путями.

16 `Кто необразован? пусть обратится сюда`. Если кто малосмыслен, то говорит ему:

17 `Краденая вода сладка, и тайный хлеб приятен`.

18 А он не знает, что там - Рефаимы, и что зазванные ею - в глубинах преисподней.

4 Whoever4310 is simple,6612 let him turn5493 in here: as for him that wants2638 understanding,3820 she said559 to him,

6 Forsake5800 the foolish,6612 and live;2421 and go833 in the way1870 of understanding.998

7 He that reproves3256 a scorner3887 gets3947 to himself shame:7036 and he that rebukes3198 a wicked7563 man gets himself a blot.3971

8 Reprove3198 not a scorner,3887 lest6435 he hate8130 you: rebuke3198 a wise2450 man, and he will love157 you.

9 Give5414 instruction to a wise2450 man, and he will be yet5750 wiser:2449 teach3045 a just6662 man, and he will increase3254 in learning.3948
