1 Я верил, даже когда говорил: . «Я сильно сокрушён».

2 В исступлении я сказал: «Все люди – лжецы».

3 Чем воздам я Вечному за всю Его доброту ко мне?

4 Отпраздную спасение моё и призову имя Вечного.

5 Исполню мои обеты Вечному перед всем Его народом.

6 Дорога в глазах Вечного смерть верных Ему.

7 Вечный, истинно я – Твой раб; Я – Твой раб и сын Твоей рабыни. Ты освободил меня от цепей.

8 Принесу Тебе жертву благодарности и призову имя Вечного.

9 Исполню мои обеты Вечному перед всем Его народом,

10 во дворах дома Вечного, посреди тебя, Иерусалим!Славьте Вечного!

1 NOT unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory for thy mercy and for thy truth's sake.

2 Wherefore the Gentiles have no cause to say, Where is now their God?

3 But our God is in the heavens; he has done whatever he pleased.

4 The idols of the Gentiles are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

5 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

6 They have ears, but they hear not; noses have they, but they smell not;

7 They have hands, but they feel not; feet have they, but they walk not; neither speak they through their throats.

8 Let them that make them become like them; and every one that trusts in them.

9 The house of Israel trusts in the LORD; he is their help and their shield.

10 The house of Aaron trusts in the LORD; he is their help and their shield.
