1 Дирижёру хора. Песнь Давуда, раба Вечного.

2 Грех побуждает нечестивого из глубин его сердца; он не боится Всевышнего.

3 Льстит он себе в своих же глазах, что ищет порок свой, чтобы возненавидеть его.

4 Слова его уст полны беззакония и обмана; он отрёкся от мудрости и не делает добра.

5 Даже на ложе своём замышляет он беззаконие. Он встал на недобрый путь и не отвергает зла.

6 Вечный, милость Твоя до небес, до облаков Твоя верность!

7 Праведность Твоя велика, как горы, Твоя справедливость глубока, как бездна!Ты хранишь человека и зверя, Вечный!

8 Милость Твоя драгоценна, Всевышний! В тени Твоих крыл укрываются смертные.

9 Пируют они от щедрот Твоего дома; из реки отрад Твоих Ты их поишь.

10 Ведь у Тебя источник жизни, и жизнь наша полна света, когда Ты даёшь Свой свет.

11 Излей Свою милость на знающих Тебя, праведность Свою – на правых сердцем.

12 Да не наступит на меня нога гордеца; да не изгонит меня рука нечестивого.

13 Посмотри, как пали беззаконники: повергнуты они и не могут подняться.

4 Let them be confounded954 and put to shame3637 that seek after1245 my soul:5315 let them be turned5472 back268 and brought to confusion2659 that devise2803 my hurt.7451

5 Let them be1961 as chaff4671 before6440 the wind:7307 and let the angel4397 of the LORD3068 chase1760 them.
