Глава 48

1 Выслушай это, род Иакова, все, кто называет себя Израилем, кто пришел от потоков Иудеи, кто клянется именем ГОСПОДА и Бога Израилева призывает, но делает это неискренне, неправедно.

2 Говорят, что они из святого города, что полагаются на Бога Израилева, имя Которому — ГОСПОДЬ Воинств.

3 «Я задолго предрекал случившееся: из уст Моих исходило слово, и то, что Я возвещал, внезапно свершал — и сказанное становилось явью.

4 Я ведь знал о твоем упрямстве, Израиль: твоя шея будто из железных жил, а лоб точно медный, —

5 потому и предсказывал Я тебе заранее, прежде чем пророчество сбывалось, чтобы не говорил ты потом: „Это сделал мой идол, мой литой истукан повелел тому быть“.

6 Посмотри же теперь на то, о чем слышал ты, — как не признать это? А теперь Я возвещаю тебе новое — то, что сокрыто было, чего не знал ты прежде.

7 Свершается оно сейчас, а не в далеком прошлом; ты об этом ничего не слышал и не можешь сказать, что знал заранее.

8 Я замкнул до времени твой слух, чтобы ты не знал и не слышал: ведь Я знаю, как ты вероломен, — ты отступником прозван от чрева матери.

9 Ради имени Своего Я удерживал гнев, медлил истреблять тебя ради славы Своей.

10 Я переплавил тебя, но не как серебро — в горниле страданий тебя испытал.

11 Поступил Я так ради Себя Самого — не бывать поруганным имени Моему, славы Моей никому не уступлю!

12 Послушай Меня, Иаков, призванный Мной Израиль! Я — первый, и Я — последний.

13 Моя рука основала землю, Моя десница небеса раскинула, и когда призову их, предстанут вместе.

14 Соберитесь все и послушайте: кто из идолов предсказал всё это? ГОСПОДЬ возлюбил Кира, и тот исполнит волю Его о Вавилоне, явит силу Его халдеям.

15 Это сказал Я — Господь, Я призвал его и привел, и будет успешным его путь.

16 Подойдите ко Мне и послушайте: изначально не делал Я тайны из того, что стало сбываться, — Я — там, всегда рядом с ним». Ныне Владыка ГОСПОДЬ отправляет меня и Дух Свой!

17 Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ, твой Избавитель, Святыня Израиля: «Я — ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, к твоей же пользе тебя наставляю, веду тебя путем, которым следует идти.

18 О, если б внимал ты заповедям Моим, благоденствие твое было б подобно реке полноводной, праведность твоя — морским волнам;

19 потомков было бы у тебя, что песка, рожденных в роду твоем — что песчинок, не забылось бы, не исчезло имя их предо Мною».

20 Покидайте скорей Вавилон, бегите подальше от халдеев! Провозгласите громко и радостно, всем возвестите, вплоть до самых далеких земель: «Искупил ГОСПОДЬ слугу Своего Иакова!»

21 Не страдали от жажды они, когда Он вел их по пустыне, — из камня для них Он воду добыл, рассек скалу — и полились потоки!

22 «Нечестивым же мира не видать», — говорит ГОСПОДЬ.

Chapter 48

1 HEAR these things, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel and are come forth from the loins of Judah, who swear by the name of the LORD and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth nor in righteousness.

2 For they are called out of the holy city and they rely upon the God of Israel; the LORD of hosts is his name.

3 I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I showed them to you; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

4 Because I knew that you are obstinate and your neck is an iron sinew and your brow brass;

5 I have made them known to you from of old; before they came to pass I declared them to you, lest you should say, My idols did them; and my graven images and my molten images have saved me.

6 I have heard and seen all these things; and will you not declare them? I have proclaimed to you new things from this time, even hidden things, and you did not know them.

7 They are created now, and not of old; even before the day when you did not hear of them, lest you should say, Behold, I knew them.

8 Yea, you have neither heard nor known of them; nor were your ears opened of old; for I knew that you surely would lie and that you were called a wicked one from the womb.

9 For my name's sake will I defer my anger, and for my praise will I keep you, and I will not destroy you.

10 Behold, I have refined you, but not with silver; I have purified you in the furnace of affliction.

11 For my own sake, will I do it, that my name may not be polluted and that I may not give my glory to another.

12 Hearken to me, O Jacob and Israel, whom I called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

13 My hand has laid the foundations of the earth, and my right hand has stretched out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand up together.

14 Assemble, all of you, and listen; who is there among you who can declare these things? The LORD has loved him, that he may do his will on Babylon and on the land of the Chaldeans.

15 I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have also called him; I have brought him and I have made his way prosperous.

16 Come near to me, listen to this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the creation, there am I; and now the LORD God, and his Spirit, has sent me.

17 Thus says the LORD, your Saviour, the Holy One of Israel: I am the LORD your God who teaches you not to do wrong, who leads you by the way that you should go.

18 O that you had hearkened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been as a river, and your righteousness as the waves of the sea;

19 Your descendants also would have been as the sand, and the offspring of your loins like the gravel thereof; their name would not perish nor be destroyed from before me.

20 Go forth from Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans; with a voice of singing declare this, proclaim it, and publish it even to the ends of the earth; say, The LORD has saved his servant Jacob.

21 They thirsted not when he led them through the deserts; he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them; he bored through the rock, and the waters gushed out.

22 There is no peace to the wicked, says the LORD.

3 I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I showed them to you; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

4 Я ведь знал о твоем упрямстве, Израиль: твоя шея будто из железных жил, а лоб точно медный, —

4 Because I knew that you are obstinate and your neck is an iron sinew and your brow brass;

5 потому и предсказывал Я тебе заранее, прежде чем пророчество сбывалось, чтобы не говорил ты потом: „Это сделал мой идол, мой литой истукан повелел тому быть“.

5 I have made them known to you from of old; before they came to pass I declared them to you, lest you should say, My idols did them; and my graven images and my molten images have saved me.

6 Посмотри же теперь на то, о чем слышал ты, — как не признать это? А теперь Я возвещаю тебе новое — то, что сокрыто было, чего не знал ты прежде.

6 I have heard and seen all these things; and will you not declare them? I have proclaimed to you new things from this time, even hidden things, and you did not know them.

7 Свершается оно сейчас, а не в далеком прошлом; ты об этом ничего не слышал и не можешь сказать, что знал заранее.

7 They are created now, and not of old; even before the day when you did not hear of them, lest you should say, Behold, I knew them.

8 Я замкнул до времени твой слух, чтобы ты не знал и не слышал: ведь Я знаю, как ты вероломен, — ты отступником прозван от чрева матери.

8 Yea, you have neither heard nor known of them; nor were your ears opened of old; for I knew that you surely would lie and that you were called a wicked one from the womb.

9 Ради имени Своего Я удерживал гнев, медлил истреблять тебя ради славы Своей.

9 For my name's sake will I defer my anger, and for my praise will I keep you, and I will not destroy you.

10 Я переплавил тебя, но не как серебро — в горниле страданий тебя испытал.

10 Behold, I have refined you, but not with silver; I have purified you in the furnace of affliction.

11 Поступил Я так ради Себя Самого — не бывать поруганным имени Моему, славы Моей никому не уступлю!

11 For my own sake, will I do it, that my name may not be polluted and that I may not give my glory to another.

12 Послушай Меня, Иаков, призванный Мной Израиль! Я — первый, и Я — последний.

12 Hearken to me, O Jacob and Israel, whom I called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

13 Моя рука основала землю, Моя десница небеса раскинула, и когда призову их, предстанут вместе.

13 My hand has laid the foundations of the earth, and my right hand has stretched out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand up together.

14 Соберитесь все и послушайте: кто из идолов предсказал всё это? ГОСПОДЬ возлюбил Кира, и тот исполнит волю Его о Вавилоне, явит силу Его халдеям.

14 Assemble, all of you, and listen; who is there among you who can declare these things? The LORD has loved him, that he may do his will on Babylon and on the land of the Chaldeans.

15 Это сказал Я — Господь, Я призвал его и привел, и будет успешным его путь.

15 I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have also called him; I have brought him and I have made his way prosperous.

16 Come near to me, listen to this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the creation, there am I; and now the LORD God, and his Spirit, has sent me.

17 Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ, твой Избавитель, Святыня Израиля: «Я — ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, к твоей же пользе тебя наставляю, веду тебя путем, которым следует идти.

17 Thus says the LORD, your Saviour, the Holy One of Israel: I am the LORD your God who teaches you not to do wrong, who leads you by the way that you should go.

18 О, если б внимал ты заповедям Моим, благоденствие твое было б подобно реке полноводной, праведность твоя — морским волнам;

18 O that you had hearkened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been as a river, and your righteousness as the waves of the sea;

19 потомков было бы у тебя, что песка, рожденных в роду твоем — что песчинок, не забылось бы, не исчезло имя их предо Мною».

19 Your descendants also would have been as the sand, and the offspring of your loins like the gravel thereof; their name would not perish nor be destroyed from before me.

20 Покидайте скорей Вавилон, бегите подальше от халдеев! Провозгласите громко и радостно, всем возвестите, вплоть до самых далеких земель: «Искупил ГОСПОДЬ слугу Своего Иакова!»

20 Go forth from Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans; with a voice of singing declare this, proclaim it, and publish it even to the ends of the earth; say, The LORD has saved his servant Jacob.

21 Не страдали от жажды они, когда Он вел их по пустыне, — из камня для них Он воду добыл, рассек скалу — и полились потоки!

21 They thirsted not when he led them through the deserts; he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them; he bored through the rock, and the waters gushed out.

22 «Нечестивым же мира не видать», — говорит ГОСПОДЬ.

22 There is no peace to the wicked, says the LORD.
