Глава 35

1 И было мне слово ГОСПОДНЕ:

2 «Смертный человек, повернись лицом к гористой стране Сеир и изреки о ней пророчество,

3 возвести ей, что говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ: „Знай, Я иду против тебя, гористая страна Сеир! Я занесу над тобой руку, разорю тебя и превращу в пустыню!

4 Разрушу города твои, и будешь ты разорена и узнаешь, что Я — ГОСПОДЬ!

5 За извечную вражду твою, за то, что ты пустила под меч сынов Израилевых во время их бедствия, во время окончательного возмездия, что их постигло.

6 Жив Я, — клятвенно заверяет Владыка ГОСПОДЬ, — за это Я обреку тебя на кровавую смерть, кровь будет преследовать тебя. Не гнушалась ты проливать кровь, вот и будет она тебя преследовать!

7 Разорю гористую страну Сеир и превращу в пустыню, истреблю всех, кто попытается уйти, и тех, кто возвратится!

8 Телами погибших усею горы твои, на холмах, в ущельях и в долинах падут убитые мечом.

9 На вечное разорение обреку тебя, города твои никогда не будут заселены вновь, и узнаешь, что Я — ГОСПОДЬ!

10 Ведь ты говорила: „Оба этих народа, обе эти страны будут моими, я ими завладею“, — а там был ГОСПОДЬ!

11 Жив Я, — говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ, — Я воздам тебе за твой гнев и зависть, за неуемную твою ненависть к израильтянам и так явлю им Себя, подвергнув тебя суду.

12 И узнаешь, что Я — ГОСПОДЬ. Слышал Я, как ты возводила хулу на горы израильские, когда говорила: „Разорены они! Нам они отданы, чтобы мы их поглотили!“

13 Ты бахвалилась предо Мною, глумилась надо Мной, не щадя слов, и Я слышал это».

14 Так говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ: «Ликовать будет вся земля, когда Я обращу тебя в пустыню.

15 Как ликовала ты, что разорены земли народа Израилева, так и Я воздам тебе: будешь ты опустошена, гористая страна Сеир вместе со всем Эдомом, и узнают, что Я — ГОСПОДЬ!»

Chapter 35

1 MOREOVER the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2 Son of man, set your face against mount Seir and prophesy against it,

3 And say to it, Thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, O mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you desolate and waste.

4 And I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate, and you shall know that I am the LORD.

5 Because you have had a perpetual enmity and delivered the children of Israel over to the sword at the time of their calamity, at the time when their iniquity had come to an end,

6 Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will deliver you to the slaughter, and blood shall pursue you; the blood which you have hated, that very blood shall pursue you.

7 I will make mount Seir waste and desolate, and destroy from it him that goes out and him that comes in.

8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain; on your crags and on your hills and in your valleys shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

9 I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities shall not be inhabited; and you shall know that I am the LORD.

10 Because you have said, These two nations and these two kingdoms are mine, and we will possess them, though the LORD was there;

11 Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will do to you according to your own anger and according to your enmity which you showed toward them, and hatred to them; and I will make myself known among them when I have judged you.

12 And you shall know that I am the LORD and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

13 Thus you dared to speak against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me; I heard them.

14 Thus says the LORD God to mount Seir which is situated at the happiest place on the earth: I will make you desolate.

15 As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so will I do to you; you shall be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

1 И было мне слово ГОСПОДНЕ:

1 MOREOVER the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2 «Смертный человек, повернись лицом к гористой стране Сеир и изреки о ней пророчество,

2 Son of man, set your face against mount Seir and prophesy against it,

3 возвести ей, что говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ: „Знай, Я иду против тебя, гористая страна Сеир! Я занесу над тобой руку, разорю тебя и превращу в пустыню!

3 And say to it, Thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, O mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you desolate and waste.

4 Разрушу города твои, и будешь ты разорена и узнаешь, что Я — ГОСПОДЬ!

4 And I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate, and you shall know that I am the LORD.

5 За извечную вражду твою, за то, что ты пустила под меч сынов Израилевых во время их бедствия, во время окончательного возмездия, что их постигло.

5 Because you have had a perpetual enmity and delivered the children of Israel over to the sword at the time of their calamity, at the time when their iniquity had come to an end,

6 Жив Я, — клятвенно заверяет Владыка ГОСПОДЬ, — за это Я обреку тебя на кровавую смерть, кровь будет преследовать тебя. Не гнушалась ты проливать кровь, вот и будет она тебя преследовать!

6 Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will deliver you to the slaughter, and blood shall pursue you; the blood which you have hated, that very blood shall pursue you.

7 Разорю гористую страну Сеир и превращу в пустыню, истреблю всех, кто попытается уйти, и тех, кто возвратится!

7 I will make mount Seir waste and desolate, and destroy from it him that goes out and him that comes in.

8 Телами погибших усею горы твои, на холмах, в ущельях и в долинах падут убитые мечом.

8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain; on your crags and on your hills and in your valleys shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

9 На вечное разорение обреку тебя, города твои никогда не будут заселены вновь, и узнаешь, что Я — ГОСПОДЬ!

9 I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities shall not be inhabited; and you shall know that I am the LORD.

10 Ведь ты говорила: „Оба этих народа, обе эти страны будут моими, я ими завладею“, — а там был ГОСПОДЬ!

10 Because you have said, These two nations and these two kingdoms are mine, and we will possess them, though the LORD was there;

11 Жив Я, — говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ, — Я воздам тебе за твой гнев и зависть, за неуемную твою ненависть к израильтянам и так явлю им Себя, подвергнув тебя суду.

11 Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will do to you according to your own anger and according to your enmity which you showed toward them, and hatred to them; and I will make myself known among them when I have judged you.

12 И узнаешь, что Я — ГОСПОДЬ. Слышал Я, как ты возводила хулу на горы израильские, когда говорила: „Разорены они! Нам они отданы, чтобы мы их поглотили!“

12 And you shall know that I am the LORD and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

13 Ты бахвалилась предо Мною, глумилась надо Мной, не щадя слов, и Я слышал это».

13 Thus you dared to speak against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me; I heard them.

14 Так говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ: «Ликовать будет вся земля, когда Я обращу тебя в пустыню.

15 Как ликовала ты, что разорены земли народа Израилева, так и Я воздам тебе: будешь ты опустошена, гористая страна Сеир вместе со всем Эдомом, и узнают, что Я — ГОСПОДЬ!»
