ColossiansChapter 3 |
|
1 IF you then are risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. |
|
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth, |
|
3 For you are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. |
|
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory. |
|
5 Mortify therefore your earthly members: immorality, uncleanness, intemperate desires, evil lusts, and covetousness, for these are idolatry; |
|
6 And it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. |
|
7 In the past you also lived among these things, and you were perverted by them. |
|
8 But now put off from you all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, foul conversation. |
|
9 Do not lie one to another, but put away the old life with all its practices; |
|
10 And put on the new life which is renewed in knowledge after the pattern in which it was originally created: |
|
11 Where there is neither Jew nor Syrian, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Greek nor barbarian, slave nor freeman; but Christ is all and in all men. |
|
12 Therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on mercy, kindness, gentleness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience; |
|
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another; and if any one has a complaint against his fellow man, just as Christ forgave you, so should you also forgive. |
|
14 And with all these things have love, which is the bond of perfection. |
|
15 And let the peace of Christ govern your hearts; for that end, you are called in one body; and be thankful to Christ; |
|
16 And let his word dwell in you abundantly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God. |
|
17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do it in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ, giving thanks through him to God the Father. |
|
18 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as it is appropriate in Christ. |
|
19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter toward them. |
|
20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto our LORD. |
|
21 Parents, do not provoke your children, that they may not be discouraged. |
|
22 Servants, obey your human masters in all things, not with eyeservice, as men pleasers; but with a sincere heart, in fear of the LORD. |
|
23 And whatever you do, do it with your whole soul, as to our LORD and not unto men; |
|
24 Knowing that from the LORD you shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the LORD Christ. |
|
25 But the wrongdoer shall be rewarded according to the wrong which he has done: and there is no respect of persons. |

2 Ду́майте про те, що вгорі, а не про те, що на землі. |
|
3 Бож ви вмерли, а життя ваше сховане в Бозі з Христом. |
|
4 Коли з'я́виться Христос, наше життя, тоді з'явитеся з Ним у славі і ви. |
|
5 |
|
6 бо гнів Божий приходить за них на неслухня́них. |
|
7 І ви поміж ними ходили колись, як жили поміж ними. |
|
8 Тепер же відкиньте і ви все оте: гнів, лютість, злобу́, богозневагу, безсоромні слова́ з ваших уст. |
|
9 Не кажіть неправди один на о́дного, якщо скинули з себе люди́ну старода́вню з її вчинками, |
|
10 та зодягнулися в нову́, що відновлюється для пізна́ння за образом Створителя її, |
|
11 де нема ані ге́ллена, ані юдея, обрі́зання та необрі́зання, ва́рвара, ски́та, раба, вільного, — але все та в усьому Христос! |
|
12 Отож, зодягніться, як Божі вибра́нці, святі та улю́блені, у щире милосердя, добротли́вість, покору, ла́гідність, довготерпіння. |
|
13 Терпіть один о́дного, і прощайте собі, коли б мав хто на ко́го оска́рження. Як і Христос вам простив, робіть так і ви! |
|
14 А над усім тим — зодягніться в любов, що вона — союз доскона́лости! |
|
15 І нехай мир Божий панує у ваших серцях, до якого й були ви покликані в одно́му тілі. І вдячними будьте! |
|
16 Слово Христове нехай пробуває в вас рясно, у всякій премудрості. Навчайте та напоумля́йте самих себе! Вдячно співайте у ваших серцях Господе́ві псалми́, гі́мни, духовні пісні́! |
|
17 І все, що тільки робите словом чи ділом, — усе робіть у Ім'я́ Господа Ісуса, дякуючи через Нього Богові й Отцеві. |
|
18 |
|
19 Чоловіки, — любіть дружи́н своїх, і не будьте суво́рі до них! |
|
20 Діти, — будьте слухня́ні в усьому батька́м, бо це Господе́ві приємне! |
|
21 Батьки́, — не драту́йте дітей своїх, щоб на дусі не впали вони! |
|
22 Раби, — слухайтеся в усьому тілесних панів, і не працюйте тільки про лю́дське око, немов підле́щуючись, але в простоті серця, боячи́ся Бога! |
|
23 І все, що тільки чините, робіть від душі, немов Господе́ві, а не лю́дям! |
|
24 Знайте, що від Господа при́ймете в нагороду спа́дщину, бо служите ви Господе́ві Христові. |
|
25 А хто кривдить, той одержить за свою кривду. Бо не дивиться Бог на осо́бу! |

4 Коли з'я́виться Христос, наше життя, тоді з'явитеся з Ним у славі і ви. |
|

11 де нема ані ге́ллена, ані юдея, обрі́зання та необрі́зання, ва́рвара, ски́та, раба, вільного, — але все та в усьому Христос! |

12 Therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on mercy, kindness, gentleness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience; |
12 Отож, зодягніться, як Божі вибра́нці, святі та улю́блені, у щире милосердя, добротли́вість, покору, ла́гідність, довготерпіння. |
|
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another; and if any one has a complaint against his fellow man, just as Christ forgave you, so should you also forgive. |
13 Терпіть один о́дного, і прощайте собі, коли б мав хто на ко́го оска́рження. Як і Христос вам простив, робіть так і ви! |
|
14 And with all these things have love, which is the bond of perfection. |
14 А над усім тим — зодягніться в любов, що вона — союз доскона́лости! |
|
15 And let the peace of Christ govern your hearts; for that end, you are called in one body; and be thankful to Christ; |
15 І нехай мир Божий панує у ваших серцях, до якого й були ви покликані в одно́му тілі. І вдячними будьте! |
|
16 And let his word dwell in you abundantly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God. |
16 Слово Христове нехай пробуває в вас рясно, у всякій премудрості. Навчайте та напоумля́йте самих себе! Вдячно співайте у ваших серцях Господе́ві псалми́, гі́мни, духовні пісні́! |
|
17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do it in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ, giving thanks through him to God the Father. |
17 І все, що тільки робите словом чи ділом, — усе робіть у Ім'я́ Господа Ісуса, дякуючи через Нього Богові й Отцеві. |
|

19 Чоловіки, — любіть дружи́н своїх, і не будьте суво́рі до них! |

24 Знайте, що від Господа при́ймете в нагороду спа́дщину, бо служите ви Господе́ві Христові. |

25 А хто кривдить, той одержить за свою кривду. Бо не дивиться Бог на осо́бу! |
