Послание к колоссянам

Глава 3

1 Итак, если вы были воздвигнуты со Христом, ищите горнего, где Христос сидит по правую сторону Бога;

2 о горнем помышляйте, не о том, что — на земле.

3 Ибо вы умерли, и жизнь ваша сокрыта со Христом в Боге:

4 когда будет явлен Христос, жизнь ваша, тогда будете явлены и вы с Ним во славе.

5 Итак, умертвите земные члены: блуд, нечистоту, страсть, злую похоть и любостяжание, которое есть идолослужение,

6 за что приходит гнев Божий,

7 в чём и вы некогда ходили, когда жили так.

8 А теперь и вы отложите всё: гнев, ярость, злобу, хулу, сквернословие уст ваших.

9 Не говорите лжи друг другу, совлекшись ветхого человека с делами его

10 и облекшись в нового, обновляемого к познанию по образу Сотворившего его.

11 Здесь нет Еллина и Иудея, нет обрезания и необрезания, варвара, Скифа, раба, свободного, но всё и во всех — Христос.

12 Итак, облекитесь, как избранные Божии, святые и возлюбленные, в милосердие, благость, смиренномудрие, кротость, долготерпение,

13 терпя друг друга и прощая взаимно, если кто на кого имеет обиду: как и Господь простил вам, так и вы;

14 а сверх всего этого, облекитесь в любовь, которая есть связь совершенства.

15 И да владычествует в сердцах ваших мир Христов, к которому вы и были призваны в одном Теле; и будьте благодарны.

16 Слово Христово да живет в вас обильно, когда вы во всякой премудрости учите и вразумляете друг друга псалмами, славословиями, песнями духовными, в благодати поя в сердцах ваших Богу.

17 И всё, что бы вы ни делали словом или делом, всё — во имя Господа Иисуса, благодаря Бога Отца чрез Него.

18 Жёны, подчиняйтесь своим мужьям, как прилично в Господе.

19 Мужья, любите своих жён и не будьте суровыми к ним.

20 Дети, повинуйтесь родителям во всём, ибо это благоугодно в Господе.

21 Отцы, не ожесточайте детей ваших, чтобы они не унывали.

22 Рабы, повинуйтесь во всём господам по плоти не с показными услугами, как человекоугодники, но в простоте сердца, боясь Господа.

23 Что бы вы ни делали, делайте от души, как для Господа, а не для людей,

24 зная, что вы в воздаяние от Господа получите наследство. Господу Христу служите.

25 Ибо кто совершает неправду, получит за ту неправду, которую совершил, и нет лицеприятия.

Colossians

Chapter 3

1 IF you then are risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.

2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth,

3 For you are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory.

5 Mortify therefore your earthly members: immorality, uncleanness, intemperate desires, evil lusts, and covetousness, for these are idolatry;

6 And it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

7 In the past you also lived among these things, and you were perverted by them.

8 But now put off from you all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, foul conversation.

9 Do not lie one to another, but put away the old life with all its practices;

10 And put on the new life which is renewed in knowledge after the pattern in which it was originally created:

11 Where there is neither Jew nor Syrian, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Greek nor barbarian, slave nor freeman; but Christ is all and in all men.

12 Therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on mercy, kindness, gentleness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience;

13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another; and if any one has a complaint against his fellow man, just as Christ forgave you, so should you also forgive.

14 And with all these things have love, which is the bond of perfection.

15 And let the peace of Christ govern your hearts; for that end, you are called in one body; and be thankful to Christ;

16 And let his word dwell in you abundantly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God.

17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do it in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

18 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as it is appropriate in Christ.

19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter toward them.

20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto our LORD.

21 Parents, do not provoke your children, that they may not be discouraged.

22 Servants, obey your human masters in all things, not with eyeservice, as men pleasers; but with a sincere heart, in fear of the LORD.

23 And whatever you do, do it with your whole soul, as to our LORD and not unto men;

24 Knowing that from the LORD you shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the LORD Christ.

25 But the wrongdoer shall be rewarded according to the wrong which he has done: and there is no respect of persons.

1 Итак, если вы были воздвигнуты со Христом, ищите горнего, где Христос сидит по правую сторону Бога;

2 о горнем помышляйте, не о том, что — на земле.

2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth,

3 Ибо вы умерли, и жизнь ваша сокрыта со Христом в Боге:

3 For you are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

4 когда будет явлен Христос, жизнь ваша, тогда будете явлены и вы с Ним во славе.

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory.

5 Итак, умертвите земные члены: блуд, нечистоту, страсть, злую похоть и любостяжание, которое есть идолослужение,

5 Mortify therefore your earthly members: immorality, uncleanness, intemperate desires, evil lusts, and covetousness, for these are idolatry;

6 за что приходит гнев Божий,

6 And it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

7 в чём и вы некогда ходили, когда жили так.

7 In the past you also lived among these things, and you were perverted by them.

8 А теперь и вы отложите всё: гнев, ярость, злобу, хулу, сквернословие уст ваших.

8 But now put off from you all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, foul conversation.

9 Не говорите лжи друг другу, совлекшись ветхого человека с делами его

9 Do not lie one to another, but put away the old life with all its practices;

10 и облекшись в нового, обновляемого к познанию по образу Сотворившего его.

10 And put on the new life which is renewed in knowledge after the pattern in which it was originally created:

11 Здесь нет Еллина и Иудея, нет обрезания и необрезания, варвара, Скифа, раба, свободного, но всё и во всех — Христос.

11 Where there is neither Jew nor Syrian, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Greek nor barbarian, slave nor freeman; but Christ is all and in all men.

12 Итак, облекитесь, как избранные Божии, святые и возлюбленные, в милосердие, благость, смиренномудрие, кротость, долготерпение,

12 Therefore as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on mercy, kindness, gentleness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience;

13 терпя друг друга и прощая взаимно, если кто на кого имеет обиду: как и Господь простил вам, так и вы;

13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another; and if any one has a complaint against his fellow man, just as Christ forgave you, so should you also forgive.

14 а сверх всего этого, облекитесь в любовь, которая есть связь совершенства.

14 And with all these things have love, which is the bond of perfection.

15 И да владычествует в сердцах ваших мир Христов, к которому вы и были призваны в одном Теле; и будьте благодарны.

15 And let the peace of Christ govern your hearts; for that end, you are called in one body; and be thankful to Christ;

16 Слово Христово да живет в вас обильно, когда вы во всякой премудрости учите и вразумляете друг друга псалмами, славословиями, песнями духовными, в благодати поя в сердцах ваших Богу.

17 И всё, что бы вы ни делали словом или делом, всё — во имя Господа Иисуса, благодаря Бога Отца чрез Него.

18 Жёны, подчиняйтесь своим мужьям, как прилично в Господе.

18 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as it is appropriate in Christ.

19 Мужья, любите своих жён и не будьте суровыми к ним.

20 Дети, повинуйтесь родителям во всём, ибо это благоугодно в Господе.

21 Отцы, не ожесточайте детей ваших, чтобы они не унывали.
