Chapter 27

1 THEN came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Joah, and Hogla, and Milcah, and Tirzah.

2 And they stood before Moses and before Eleazar the priest and before the princes and all the congregation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of those who revolted before the LORD in the company of Korah; but he died in his own sins and had no sons.

4 Why should the name of our father be lost from among his family because he had no son? Give to us therefore a possession among the brothers of our father.

5 And Moses brought their cause before the LORD.

6 And the LORD said to Moses,

7 The daughters of Zelophehad speak right, you shall surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brothers; and you shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.

8 And you shall say to the children of Israel, If a man dies and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter.

9 And if he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers.

10 And if he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father's brothers.

11 And if his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it; and it shall be to the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.

12 And the LORD said to Moses, Go up into this mountain of the Hebrews and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.

13 And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered.

14 Because you rebelled against my commandment in the wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, and you did not sanctify me before their eyes; that is, the waters of Mesotha, at Rakim in the wilderness of Zin.

15 And Moses spoke to the LORD, saying,

16 Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation

17 Who may go out before them and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out and bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD may not be as sheep which have no shepherd.

18 And the LORD said to Moses, Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay your hand upon him;

19 And make him to stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation; and put him in charge in their sight.

20 And you shall put some of your honor upon him that all the congregation of the children of Israel may obey him.

21 And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask for him after the ordinance of the law before the LORD; at his word they shall go out and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the children of Israel with him, the whole congregation.

22 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and he took Joshua and made him stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation;

23 And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him authority, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

2 и предстали5975 пред3942 Моисея4872 и пред3942 Елеазара499 священника,3548 и пред3942 князей5387 и пред все общество,5712 у входа6607 скинии168 собрания,4150 и сказали:559

3 отец1 наш умер4191 в пустыне,4057 и он не был в числе8432 сообщников,5712 собравшихся3259 против Господа3068 со скопищем5712 Кореевым,7141 но за свой грех2399 умер,4191 и сыновей1121 у него не было;

4 за что исчезать1639 имени8034 отца1 нашего из8432 племени4940 его, потому что нет у него сына?1121 дай5414 нам удел272 среди8432 братьев251 отца1 нашего.

5 И представил7126 Моисей4872 дело4941 их Господу.3068

6 И сказал559 Господь3068 Моисею:4872

7 правду3651 говорят1696 дочери1323 Салпаадовы;6765 дай5414 им наследственный5159 удел272 среди8432 братьев251 отца1 их и передай5674 им удел5159 отца1 их;

8 и сынам1121 Израилевым3478 объяви1696 и скажи:559 если кто376 умрет,4191 не имея у себя сына,1121 то передавайте5674 удел5159 его дочери1323 его;

9 если же нет у него дочери,1323 передавайте5414 удел5159 его братьям251 его;

10 если же нет у него братьев,251 отдайте5414 удел5159 его братьям251 отца1 его;

11 если же нет братьев251 отца1 его, отдайте5414 удел5159 его близкому7607 его родственнику7138 из поколения4940 его, чтоб он наследовал3423 его; и да будет это для сынов1121 Израилевых3478 постановлено2708 в закон,4941 как повелел6680 Господь3068 Моисею.4872

12 И сказал559 Господь3068 Моисею:4872 взойди5927 на сию гору2022 Аварим,5682 и посмотри7200 на землю,776 которую Я даю5414 сынам1121 Израилевым;3478

13 и когда посмотришь7200 на нее, приложись622 к народу5971 своему и ты, как приложился622 Аарон,175 брат251 твой;

14 потому что вы не послушались4784 повеления6310 Моего в пустыне4057 Син,6790 во время распри4808 общества,5712 чтоб явить6942 пред глазами5869 их святость6942 Мою при водах4325 Меривы.4809

15 И сказал1696 Моисей4872 Господу,3068 говоря:559

16 да поставит6485 Господь,3068 Бог430 духов7307 всякой плоти,1320 над обществом5712 сим человека,376

17 который выходил3318 бы пред3942 ними и который входил935 бы пред3942 ними, который выводил3318 бы их и который приводил935 бы их, чтобы не осталось общество5712 Господне,3068 как овцы,6629 у которых нет пастыря.7462

18 И сказал559 Господь3068 Моисею:4872 возьми3947 себе Иисуса,3091 сына1121 Навина,5126 человека,376 в котором есть Дух,7307 и возложи5564 на него руку3027 твою,

19 и поставь5975 его пред3942 Елеазаром499 священником3548 и пред3942 всем обществом,5712 и дай6680 ему наставление6680 пред глазами5869 их,

20 и дай5414 ему от славы1935 твоей, чтобы слушало8085 его все общество5712 сынов1121 Израилевых;3478

21 и будет5975 он обращаться5975 к3942 Елеазару499 священнику3548 и спрашивать7592 его о решении,4941 посредством урима224 пред3942 Господом;3068 и по его слову6310 должны выходить,3318 и по его слову6310 должны входить935 он и все сыны1121 Израилевы3478 с ним и все общество.5712

12 And the LORD said to Moses, Go up into this mountain of the Hebrews and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.

12 И сказал559 Господь3068 Моисею:4872 взойди5927 на сию гору2022 Аварим,5682 и посмотри7200 на землю,776 которую Я даю5414 сынам1121 Израилевым;3478

13 And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered.

13 и когда посмотришь7200 на нее, приложись622 к народу5971 своему и ты, как приложился622 Аарон,175 брат251 твой;

14 Because you rebelled against my commandment in the wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, and you did not sanctify me before their eyes; that is, the waters of Mesotha, at Rakim in the wilderness of Zin.

14 потому что вы не послушались4784 повеления6310 Моего в пустыне4057 Син,6790 во время распри4808 общества,5712 чтоб явить6942 пред глазами5869 их святость6942 Мою при водах4325 Меривы.4809

15 And Moses spoke to the LORD, saying,

15 И сказал1696 Моисей4872 Господу,3068 говоря:559

16 Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation

16 да поставит6485 Господь,3068 Бог430 духов7307 всякой плоти,1320 над обществом5712 сим человека,376

17 Who may go out before them and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out and bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD may not be as sheep which have no shepherd.

17 который выходил3318 бы пред3942 ними и который входил935 бы пред3942 ними, который выводил3318 бы их и который приводил935 бы их, чтобы не осталось общество5712 Господне,3068 как овцы,6629 у которых нет пастыря.7462

18 And the LORD said to Moses, Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay your hand upon him;

18 И сказал559 Господь3068 Моисею:4872 возьми3947 себе Иисуса,3091 сына1121 Навина,5126 человека,376 в котором есть Дух,7307 и возложи5564 на него руку3027 твою,

19 And make him to stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation; and put him in charge in their sight.

19 и поставь5975 его пред3942 Елеазаром499 священником3548 и пред3942 всем обществом,5712 и дай6680 ему наставление6680 пред глазами5869 их,

20 And you shall put some of your honor upon him that all the congregation of the children of Israel may obey him.

20 и дай5414 ему от славы1935 твоей, чтобы слушало8085 его все общество5712 сынов1121 Израилевых;3478

21 And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask for him after the ordinance of the law before the LORD; at his word they shall go out and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the children of Israel with him, the whole congregation.

22 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and he took Joshua and made him stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation;

23 And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him authority, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
