Chapter 27

1 THEN came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Joah, and Hogla, and Milcah, and Tirzah.

2 And they stood before Moses and before Eleazar the priest and before the princes and all the congregation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of those who revolted before the LORD in the company of Korah; but he died in his own sins and had no sons.

4 Why should the name of our father be lost from among his family because he had no son? Give to us therefore a possession among the brothers of our father.

5 And Moses brought their cause before the LORD.

6 And the LORD said to Moses,

7 The daughters of Zelophehad speak right, you shall surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brothers; and you shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.

8 And you shall say to the children of Israel, If a man dies and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter.

9 And if he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers.

10 And if he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father's brothers.

11 And if his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it; and it shall be to the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.

12 And the LORD said to Moses, Go up into this mountain of the Hebrews and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.

13 And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered.

14 Because you rebelled against my commandment in the wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, and you did not sanctify me before their eyes; that is, the waters of Mesotha, at Rakim in the wilderness of Zin.

15 And Moses spoke to the LORD, saying,

16 Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation

17 Who may go out before them and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out and bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD may not be as sheep which have no shepherd.

18 And the LORD said to Moses, Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay your hand upon him;

19 And make him to stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation; and put him in charge in their sight.

20 And you shall put some of your honor upon him that all the congregation of the children of Israel may obey him.

21 And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask for him after the ordinance of the law before the LORD; at his word they shall go out and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the children of Israel with him, the whole congregation.

22 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and he took Joshua and made him stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation;

23 And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him authority, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

1 Дочери Целофхада, узнав о переписи и распределении земельных участков, пришли к Святилищу. Их отец был сыном Хефера, внуком Гилада, отцом коего был Махир из колена Манассии, сына Иосифа. Их имена: Махла, Ноа, Хогла, Милка и Тирца.

2 Они предстали перед Моисеем, Элеазаром-священником и вождями общины — перед всеми собравшимися у входа в Шатер Откровения — и сказали:

3 «Отец наш умер в этой пустыне. Но он не был сообщником тех, кто примкнул к Корею в своем восстании против ГОСПОДА. За свой собственный грех он умер, не оставив после себя сыновей.

4 Справедливо ли, что имя отца нашего должно быть забыто в его роду, раз не было у него сына? Дайте же и нам землю в собственность среди родственников отца нашего».

5 И предстал Моисей с этим делом перед ГОСПОДОМ,

6 Который сказал ему:

7 «Правду говорят дочери Целофхада. Вы непременно должны дать им собственность как их наследство среди родственников отца их. Пусть это и будет наследством отца их, которое им отойдет.

8 А сынам Израилевым объясни: „Если умер кто, не оставив после себя сына, пусть то, чем он владел, отойдет к его дочери.

9 А если не было у него и дочери, то пусть его собственность перейдет к братьям его.

10 Ну, а если не было у него и братьев, то наследниками будут братья отца его.

11 Если же у его отца не было братьев, то пусть перейдет наследство к ближайшему кровному родственнику из его рода. Это должно быть обычным законным правом в Израиле, по повелению ГОСПОДА через Моисея“».

12 ГОСПОДЬ сказал Моисею: «Взойди на холм горного хребта Аварим [гору Нево] и обозри землю, которую определил Я сынам Израилевым.

13 После того как увидишь ее, ты тоже приобщишься к праотцам своим, как это произошло с братом твоим Аароном.

14 Ведь ты и Аарон ослушались повеления Моего, когда община восстала против Меня в пустыне Цин, и не явили вы святости Моей перед лицом роптавшей толпы в Мериве, у вод раздора в Кадеше, в пустыне Цин».

15 Тогда Моисей попросил ГОСПОДА:

16 «ГОСПОДИ, Боже — Владыка над жизнью и смертью всякой плоти, да будет угодно Тебе поставить человека над этой общиной,

17 который мог бы идти впереди них, вести их за собой и руководить ими, дабы не уподобился народ ГОСПОДЕНЬ овцам без пастыря».

18 И ГОСПОДЬ ответил Моисею: «Призови Иисуса Навина, того, в ком есть дух, необходимый для дела этого; на него возложи руки.

19 Поставь его перед Элеазаром-священником и перед всей общиной и на виду у всех поручи ему это служение;

20 насколько возможно, облеки его величием власти своей, чтобы вся община сынов Израилевых повиновалась ему.

21 А он должен будет обращаться к Элеазару-священнику, чтобы тот вопрошал ГОСПОДА о воле Его через урим. Всё сказанное Элеазаром должно быть обязательным и для самого Иисуса, и для всей общины во всех их делах и образе жизни».

22 Моисей так и сделал, как повелел ему ГОСПОДЬ: призвал Иисуса, поставил его перед Элеазаром-священником и всей общиной,

23 возложил на него руки и поручил ему служение, как повелел ГОСПОДЬ через него, Моисея.

2 And they stood before Moses and before Eleazar the priest and before the princes and all the congregation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

2 Они предстали перед Моисеем, Элеазаром-священником и вождями общины — перед всеми собравшимися у входа в Шатер Откровения — и сказали:

3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of those who revolted before the LORD in the company of Korah; but he died in his own sins and had no sons.

3 «Отец наш умер в этой пустыне. Но он не был сообщником тех, кто примкнул к Корею в своем восстании против ГОСПОДА. За свой собственный грех он умер, не оставив после себя сыновей.

4 Why should the name of our father be lost from among his family because he had no son? Give to us therefore a possession among the brothers of our father.

4 Справедливо ли, что имя отца нашего должно быть забыто в его роду, раз не было у него сына? Дайте же и нам землю в собственность среди родственников отца нашего».

5 And Moses brought their cause before the LORD.

5 И предстал Моисей с этим делом перед ГОСПОДОМ,

6 And the LORD said to Moses,

6 Который сказал ему:

7 The daughters of Zelophehad speak right, you shall surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brothers; and you shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.

7 «Правду говорят дочери Целофхада. Вы непременно должны дать им собственность как их наследство среди родственников отца их. Пусть это и будет наследством отца их, которое им отойдет.

8 And you shall say to the children of Israel, If a man dies and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter.

8 А сынам Израилевым объясни: „Если умер кто, не оставив после себя сына, пусть то, чем он владел, отойдет к его дочери.

9 And if he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers.

9 А если не было у него и дочери, то пусть его собственность перейдет к братьям его.

10 And if he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father's brothers.

10 Ну, а если не было у него и братьев, то наследниками будут братья отца его.

11 And if his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it; and it shall be to the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.

11 Если же у его отца не было братьев, то пусть перейдет наследство к ближайшему кровному родственнику из его рода. Это должно быть обычным законным правом в Израиле, по повелению ГОСПОДА через Моисея“».

12 And the LORD said to Moses, Go up into this mountain of the Hebrews and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.

12 ГОСПОДЬ сказал Моисею: «Взойди на холм горного хребта Аварим [гору Нево] и обозри землю, которую определил Я сынам Израилевым.

13 And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered.

13 После того как увидишь ее, ты тоже приобщишься к праотцам своим, как это произошло с братом твоим Аароном.

14 Because you rebelled against my commandment in the wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, and you did not sanctify me before their eyes; that is, the waters of Mesotha, at Rakim in the wilderness of Zin.

14 Ведь ты и Аарон ослушались повеления Моего, когда община восстала против Меня в пустыне Цин, и не явили вы святости Моей перед лицом роптавшей толпы в Мериве, у вод раздора в Кадеше, в пустыне Цин».

15 And Moses spoke to the LORD, saying,

15 Тогда Моисей попросил ГОСПОДА:

16 Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation

16 «ГОСПОДИ, Боже — Владыка над жизнью и смертью всякой плоти, да будет угодно Тебе поставить человека над этой общиной,

17 Who may go out before them and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out and bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD may not be as sheep which have no shepherd.

17 который мог бы идти впереди них, вести их за собой и руководить ими, дабы не уподобился народ ГОСПОДЕНЬ овцам без пастыря».

18 And the LORD said to Moses, Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay your hand upon him;

18 И ГОСПОДЬ ответил Моисею: «Призови Иисуса Навина, того, в ком есть дух, необходимый для дела этого; на него возложи руки.

19 And make him to stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation; and put him in charge in their sight.

19 Поставь его перед Элеазаром-священником и перед всей общиной и на виду у всех поручи ему это служение;

20 And you shall put some of your honor upon him that all the congregation of the children of Israel may obey him.

20 насколько возможно, облеки его величием власти своей, чтобы вся община сынов Израилевых повиновалась ему.

21 And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask for him after the ordinance of the law before the LORD; at his word they shall go out and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the children of Israel with him, the whole congregation.

21 А он должен будет обращаться к Элеазару-священнику, чтобы тот вопрошал ГОСПОДА о воле Его через урим. Всё сказанное Элеазаром должно быть обязательным и для самого Иисуса, и для всей общины во всех их делах и образе жизни».

22 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and he took Joshua and made him stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation;

22 Моисей так и сделал, как повелел ему ГОСПОДЬ: призвал Иисуса, поставил его перед Элеазаром-священником и всей общиной,

23 And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him authority, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

23 возложил на него руки и поручил ему служение, как повелел ГОСПОДЬ через него, Моисея.
