Chapter 9

1 I SAW the LORD standing over the altar; and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the thresholds may shake; and let their treachery be upon the heads of all of them, and I will slay those who are left of them with the sword; he that flees of them shall not escape, and he that is spared of them shall not be delivered.

2 Though they go down into Sheol, thence shall my hand bring them up; though they climb to heaven, thence will I bring them down;

3 And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out from there; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent and it shall bite them;

4 And though they go into captivity before their enemies, there I will command the sword, and it shall slay them; and I will set my eyes upon them for evil and not for good;

5 Says the LORD God of hosts, who touches the earth and it quakes, and all who dwell in it mourn; and the end shall rise up like a river, and shall recede like the river of Egypt:

6 It is he who has built his stories in heaven, and has made his possessions in the earth; who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth; the LORD of hosts is his name.

7 Behold, you are like the Ethiopians to me, O children of Israel! says the LORD. Behold, I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt and the Philistines from Capadocia and the Arameans from Kir.

8 Behold, the eyes of the LORD God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; but I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the LORD.

9 For behold, I will command, and I will scatter the house of Israel among all nations as they sift wheat in a sieve, but not even the smallest grain of it shall fall upon the ground.

10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, The evil shall not touch us nor overtake us.

11 In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins and I will build it as in the days of old, and as in the years of many generations.

12 For they shall possess the remnant of Edom, and all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the LORD who does these things.

13 Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when the threshing floor shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that sows seed; and the mountains shall drop sweetness, and all the hills shall rejoice.

14 And I will bring back the captivity of my people Israel, and they shall build the ruined cities and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards and drink the wine thereof; they shall also plant gardens and eat the fruit of them.

15 And I will plant them upon their own land, and they shall no more be uprooted from the land which I have given them, says the LORD your God.

1 Я увидел Господа моего, стоящего у алтаря, и Он сказал мне: «Ударь по верхушке колонн так, чтобы они сотряслись до основания. Пусть колонны упадут на голову всем этим людям, а тех, кто останется в живых, Я поражу мечом. Ни один из них не убежит, никто не спасётся!

2 Если даже зароются они в преисподнюю, Моя рука извлечёт их оттуда. Если они поднимутся вверх к небесам, Я свергну их и оттуда.

3 Если даже скроются они на вершине горы Кармел, Я всё равно отыщу и захвачу их, а, если попытаются скрыться от Меня на дне морском, Я повелю змее ужалить их.

4 Если же их поведут в плен враги, Я прикажу мечу поразить их. Я обращу на них Мой взор не на благо им, а на беду».

5 «Господь, Бог Всемогущий, коснётся земли, и земля растает, и все, кто живут на ней, зарыдают, скорбя о погибших. Тогда вся страна вздыбится словно воды Нила в Египте.

6 Господь построил Свои чертоги на небесах, а небо раскинул над землёй. Он призывает морские воды и разливает их по поверхности земли. Господь Иегова — имя Его!»

7 Так говорит Господь: «Народ Израиля, ты для Меня словно народ Эфиопии. Я вывел израильтян из Египта, филистимлян из Кафтора, а арамеев из Кира».

8 Господь, Бог мой, наблюдает за грешным царством и говорит: «Я сотру Израиль с лица земли, но не полностью истреблю род Иакова.

9 Я повелеваю рассеять семью Израиля среди других народов. И это будет подобно тому, как человек просеивает муку в сите: хорошая мука сеется через него, а комки застревают.

10 Все грешники из Моего народа умрут от меча, все те, кто говорит: „Ничего плохого с нами не случится!”»

11 «В тот день Я восстановлю упавший шатёр Давида. Я заделаю его пробоины, восстановлю всё, что было разрушено, а затем поставлю его как и прежде.

12 Тогда люди, оставшиеся в живых в Едоме, и все люди, зовущиеся Моим именем, обратятся к Господу за помощью». Так говорит Господь, и Он свершит всё это.

13 Господь говорит: «Наступят дни, когда жнецы не будут успевать собирать урожай до того времени, когда необходимо будет пахать землю, а топчущие виноград не смогут выдавить весь сок до того времени, когда поспеет новый урожай. Сладкое вино будет сочиться из гор и литься с холмов.

14 Я возвращу Мой народ, Израиль, из плена, они поднимут из руин города и будут в них жить. Они посадят виноградники и будут пить их вино, и израильтяне насадят сады и станут есть плоды, собранные в них.

15 Я дам Израилю его собственную землю, и никто не изгонит его с этой земли». Так говорит Господь, Бог ваш.

5 «Господь, Бог Всемогущий, коснётся земли, и земля растает, и все, кто живут на ней, зарыдают, скорбя о погибших. Тогда вся страна вздыбится словно воды Нила в Египте.

6 Господь построил Свои чертоги на небесах, а небо раскинул над землёй. Он призывает морские воды и разливает их по поверхности земли. Господь Иегова — имя Его!»

7 Behold, you are like the Ethiopians to me, O children of Israel! says the LORD. Behold, I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt and the Philistines from Capadocia and the Arameans from Kir.

7 Так говорит Господь: «Народ Израиля, ты для Меня словно народ Эфиопии. Я вывел израильтян из Египта, филистимлян из Кафтора, а арамеев из Кира».

8 Behold, the eyes of the LORD God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; but I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the LORD.

8 Господь, Бог мой, наблюдает за грешным царством и говорит: «Я сотру Израиль с лица земли, но не полностью истреблю род Иакова.

9 For behold, I will command, and I will scatter the house of Israel among all nations as they sift wheat in a sieve, but not even the smallest grain of it shall fall upon the ground.

9 Я повелеваю рассеять семью Израиля среди других народов. И это будет подобно тому, как человек просеивает муку в сите: хорошая мука сеется через него, а комки застревают.

10 Все грешники из Моего народа умрут от меча, все те, кто говорит: „Ничего плохого с нами не случится!”»

11 In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins and I will build it as in the days of old, and as in the years of many generations.

11 «В тот день Я восстановлю упавший шатёр Давида. Я заделаю его пробоины, восстановлю всё, что было разрушено, а затем поставлю его как и прежде.

14 Я возвращу Мой народ, Израиль, из плена, они поднимут из руин города и будут в них жить. Они посадят виноградники и будут пить их вино, и израильтяне насадят сады и станут есть плоды, собранные в них.

15 And I will plant them upon their own land, and they shall no more be uprooted from the land which I have given them, says the LORD your God.

15 Я дам Израилю его собственную землю, и никто не изгонит его с этой земли». Так говорит Господь, Бог ваш.
