RevelationChapter 2 |
|
1 TO the angel * of the church of Eph'esus write: These things says the Omnipotent; who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; |
|
2 I know your works, and your labour, and your patience, and how you cannot endure those who are ungodly: you have tried those who say they are apostles, and are not, and you have found them liars: |
|
3 And you have patience, and you have borne burdens for my name's sake, and have not wearied. |
|
4 Nevertheless I have something against you, because you have left your first love. |
|
5 Remember therefore from whence you have fallen and repent and do the first works; or else I will come to you very soon, and I will remove your candlestick from its place except you repent. |
|
6 But this you have in your favour, you hate the works of the Nic-o-la'i-tanes, which I also hate. |
|
7 He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches: To him who overcomes, I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of my God. |
|
8 And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, These things says the first and the last, which was dead and is alive: |
|
9 I know your works and your suffering and poverty, but you are rich, and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are of the synagogue of Satan. |
|
10 Fear none of those things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison, that you be tried; and you will be oppressed for ten days: be faithful even to death, and I will give you a crown of life. |
|
11 He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death. |
|
12 And to the angel of the church in Per'gamos write: These things says he who has the sharp two-edged sword; |
|
13 I know your works and where you dwell even where Satan's seat is: And you uphold my name, and you did not deny my faith, even in those days when that witness of mine appeared, that faithful one of mine who was slain among you, where Satan dwells. |
|
14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit adultery. |
|
15 And also you have those among you who hold to the teaching of the Nic-o-la'i-tanes. |
|
16 Repent; or else I will come to you very soon, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. |
|
17 He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; To him who overcomes, I will give to eat of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no man knows except he who receives it. |
|
18 And unto the angel of the church in Thya- ti'ra write: These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like unto a flame of fire, and whose feet are like fine brass from Lebanon; |
|
19 I know your works, and love and faith, and service, and also your patience; and your last works are to be more abundant than the first. |
|
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against you, because you allowed that woman of yours Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication and to eat things sacrificed to idols. |
|
21 And I gave her time to repent, but she did not repent from her fornication. |
|
22 Behold I will cast her into a sick bed and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. |
|
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he who searches the reins and hearts: and I will give unto everyone of you according to your works. |
|
24 But I say unto you, the rest of you in Thy-a-ti'ra, those of you who do not have this doctrine, and those who have not known, as they say, the depths of Satan, that I will not put upon you another burden. |
|
25 But hold fast to that which you already have till I come. |
|
26 And he who overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him I will give authority over the nations: |
|
27 And he shall shepherd them with a rod of iron; like the vessels of the potter, they shall be shattered: even as I was disciplined by my Father. |
|
28 And I will give him the morning star. |
|
29 He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches. |

9 «знаю твою скорбь и нищету, — но ты богат, — и хулу от говорящих, что они Иудеи, а они не Иудеи, но синагога сатаны. |
|
10 Не бойся ничего, что тебе предстоит претерпеть. Вот будет диавол ввергать из среды вас в тюрьму, чтобы быть вам искушенными, и будете иметь скорбь десять дней. Будь верен до смерти, и дам тебе венец жизни. |
|
11 Имеющий ухо да услышит, что Дух говорит церквам. Тот, кто побеждает, не будет поражён вовсе смертью второй». |
|
12 |
|
13 «знаю, где ты живёшь: там, где престол сатаны. И ты твердо держишься имени Моего и не отрекся от веры в Меня даже во дни Антипы, свидетеля Моего, верного Моего, который был убит у вас, там, где сатана живёт. |
|
14 Но имею немного против тебя за то, что ты имеешь там держащихся учения Валаама, который научил Валака поставить западню перед сынами Израилевыми: есть идоложертвенное и блудить. |
|
15 Так и у тебя есть подобным же образом держащиеся учения Николаитов. |
|
16 Итак покайся. Если же нет, приду к тебе скоро и сражусь с ними мечом уст Моих. |
|
17 Имеющий ухо да услышит, что Дух говорит церквам. Тому, кто побеждает, Я дам ему манны сокровенной, и дам ему белый камешек, и на камешке имя новое написанное, которого никто не знает, кроме получающего». |
|
18 |
|
19 «знаю твои дела, и любовь, и веру, и служение и терпение твое, и что дела твои последние больше первых. |
|
20 Но имею против тебя, что ты попускаешь женщине Иезавели, называющей себя пророчицей; она и учит и вводит в заблуждение Моих рабов, чтобы они блудили и ели идоложертвенное. |
|
21 И Я дал ей время, чтобы она покаялась, но она не хочет покаяться в блуде своем. |
|
22 Вот Я повергаю её на одр страдания, и прелюбодействующих с ней в скорбь великую, если не покаются в делах её, |
|
23 и детей её убью смертью; и познают все церкви, что Я — Испытующий внутренности и сердца, и воздам вам каждому по делам вашим. |
|
24 Вам же говорю, прочим находящимся в Фиатирах, всем, кто не имеют этого учения, которые не познали глубин сатаны, как они говорят: не налагаю на вас другого бремени. |
|
25 Только то, что имеете, твердо держите, пока не приду. |
|
26 И тому, кто побеждает и кто соблюдает до конца дела Мои, |
|
27 |
|
28 и дам ему звезду утреннюю. |
|
29 Имеющий ухо да услышит, что Дух говорит церквам». |
