1 Стих Эфана-эзрахита

2 Любовь ГОСПОДА неизменную всегда воспевать буду, из рода в род о верности Его возвещать.

3 Знаю, что любовь Твоя вечно пребудет и, как небо само, непреходяща верность Твоя.

4 Ведь сказано было Тобой: «С избранником Своим заключил Я Союз, Завет ему дал, Давиду, слуге Своему, поклялся:

5 „Упрочу Я царственный род твой — вечным он будет, престол твой неколебимым сделаю для всех поколений“».

6 Да славят небеса дела Твои дивные, ГОСПОДИ, и в собрании святых да воспевается верность Твоя.

7 Кого в небесах сравнить с ГОСПОДОМ можно? Кто из небожителей ГОСПОДУ подобен?

8 В сонме святых пред Богом трепещут, Он более всех окружающих Его благоговейный трепет вызывает.

9 ГОСПОДИ, Бог Воинств, кто подобен Тебе, всесильный ГОСПОДЬ? Везде, во всем видна верность Твоя, она вокруг Тебя.

10 Ты усмиряешь море бушующее, вздымающиеся волны его успокаиваешь.

11 Ты сокрушил мощь Рахава, лежит он, как труп; врагов Своих рассеял рукою сильной.

12 Твои — небеса, и земля — Твоя, мир со всем, что наполняет его, Ты создал.

13 Сотворил Ты север и юг, Фавор и Ермон имя Твое восторженно славят.

14 Сильна рука Твоя, Господи, крепка она, высоко поднята сильная рука Твоя.

15 Праведность и справедливость — основание престола Твоего, любовь и верность прежде всего в Тебе видны.

16 Как блаженны участники празднеств священных! Во свете, от Тебя исходящем, живут они, ГОСПОДИ.

17 Имя Твое радость у них всегда вызывает, праведностью Твоей они возвышаются,

18 ибо Ты — слава и сила их, и по милости Твоей мы победы одерживаем.
