2 But3588 518 your iniquities5771 have1961 separated914 between996 you and your God,430 and your sins2403 have hid5641 his face6440 from4480 you, that he will not hear.4480 8085

2 sondern eure Untugenden scheiden914 euch und2403 euren GOtt430 voneinander996, und eure Sünden5771 verbergen5641 das Angesicht von6440 euch, daß ihr nicht gehöret werdet8085.

3 For3588 your hands3709 are defiled1351 with blood,1818 and your fingers676 with iniquity;5771 your lips8193 have spoken1696 lies,8267 your tongue3956 hath muttered1897 perverseness.5766

3 Denn eure Hände3709 sind mit Blut1818 befleckt1351 und eure Finger676 mit Untugend5771; eure Lippen reden1696 Falsches8267, eure Zunge8193 dichtet1897 Unrechtes5766.

4 None369 calleth7121 for justice,6664 nor369 any pleadeth8199 for truth:530 they trust982 in5921 vanity,8414 and speak1696 lies;7723 they conceive2029 mischief,5999 and bring forth3205 iniquity.205

4 Es ist niemand, der von Gerechtigkeit6664 predige oder treulich530 richte8199. Man vertrauet aufs Eitle8414 und redet1696 nichts Tüchtiges7723; mit Unglück5999 sind sie7121 schwanger2029 und gebären3205 Mühe205.

5 They hatch1234 cockatrice'6848 eggs,1000 and weave707 the spider's5908 web:6980 he that eateth398 of their eggs4480 1000 dieth,4191 and that which is crushed2116 breaketh out1234 into a viper.660

5 Sie brüten Basiliskeneier1000 und707 wirken Spinnwebe5908. Isset398 man1234 von ihren Eiern, so soll man1234 sterben4191; zertritt man‘s aber2116, so fährt eine Otter6848 heraus.

6 Their webs6980 shall not3808 become1961 garments,899 neither3808 shall they cover themselves3680 with their works:4639 their works4639 are works4639 of iniquity,205 and the act6467 of violence2555 is in their hands.3709

6 Ihre Spinnwebe6980 taugt nicht zu Kleidern899, und4639 ihr Gewirke taugt nicht zur Decke; denn ihr Werk4639 ist3680 Mühe205 und4639 in ihren Händen3709 ist Frevel2555.

8 The way1870 of peace7965 they know3045 not;3808 and there is no369 judgment4941 in their goings:4570 they have made them crooked6140 paths:5410 whosoever3605 goeth1869 therein shall not3808 know3045 peace.7965

8 sie kennen3045 den Weg1870 des Friedens7965 nicht, und ist kein Recht4941 in ihren Gängen4570; sie sind1869 verkehrt6140 auf ihren Straßen5410; wer darauf gehet, der hat3045 nimmer keinen Frieden7965.

9 Therefore5921 3651 is judgment far7368 4941 from4480 us, neither3808 doth justice6666 overtake5381 us: we wait6960 for light,216 but behold2009 obscurity;2822 for brightness,5054 but we walk1980 in darkness.653

9 Darum ist das Recht4941 ferne von uns, und wir erlangen5381 die Gerechtigkeit6666 nicht7368. Wir harren6960 aufs Licht216, siehe, so wird‘s finster2822, auf den Schein5054, siehe, so wandeln1980 wir im Dunkeln653.

10 We grope1659 for the wall7023 like the blind,5787 and we grope1659 as if we had no369 eyes:5869 we stumble3782 at noonday6672 as in the night;5399 we are in desolate places820 as dead4191 men.

11 We roar1993 all3605 like bears,1677 and mourn1897 1897 sore like doves:3123 we look6960 for judgment,4941 but there is none;369 for salvation,3444 but it is far off7368 from4480 us.

11 Wir brummen1993 alle wie die3123 Bären1677 und ächzen1897 wie die Tauben; denn wir harren6960 aufs Recht4941, so ist‘s nicht7368 da, aufs Heil3444, so ist‘s ferne von uns.

12 For3588 our transgressions6588 are multiplied7231 before5048 thee, and our sins2403 testify6030 against us: for3588 our transgressions6588 are with854 us; and as for our iniquities,5771 we know3045 them;

12 Denn unserer Übertretung6588 vor dir ist zu viel7231, und unsere Sünden2403 antworten6030 wider uns. Denn unsere Übertretungen6588 sind bei uns, und wir fühlen3045 unsere Sünden5771

13 In transgressing6586 and lying3584 against the LORD,3068 and departing away5253 from4480 310 our God,430 speaking1696 oppression6233 and revolt,5627 conceiving2029 and uttering1897 from the heart4480 3820 words1697 of falsehood.8267

13 mit Übertreten6586 und310 Lügen3584 wider den HErrn3068 und Zurückkehren von unserm GOtt430 und mit Reden1696 zum Frevel6233 und Ungehorsam5627, trachten2029 und dichten1897 falsche8267 Worte1697 aus dem Herzen3820.

14 And judgment4941 is turned away5253 backward,268 and justice6666 standeth5975 afar off:4480 7350 for3588 truth571 is fallen3782 in the street,7339 and equity5229 cannot3201 3808 enter.935

14 Darum ist935 auch das Recht4941 zurückgewichen268 und Gerechtigkeit6666 ferne7350 getreten; denn die Wahrheit571 fällt3782 auf5975 der Gasse7339, und Recht kann3201 nicht5253 einhergehen,

15 Yea, truth571 faileth;1961 5737 and he that departeth5493 from evil4480 7451 maketh himself a prey:7997 and the LORD3068 saw7200 it, and it displeased7489 5869 him that3588 there was no369 judgment.4941

15 und die Wahrheit571 ist5493 dahin5737; und wer vom Bösen7451 weicht, der muß jedermanns Raub7997 sein. Solches siehet der HErr3068 und gefällt5869 ihm übel3415, daß kein Recht4941 ist7200.

16 And he saw7200 that3588 there was no369 man,376 and wondered8074 that3588 there was no369 intercessor:6293 therefore his arm2220 brought salvation3467 unto him; and his righteousness,6666 it1931 sustained5564 him.

16 Und er376 siehet, daß niemand da ist8074, und verwundert sich7200, daß niemand sie vertritt. Darum hilft3467 er ihm selbst mit seinem Arm2220, und seine Gerechtigkeit6666 erhält5564 ihn6293.

17 For he put on3847 righteousness6666 as a breastplate,8302 and a helmet3553 of salvation3444 upon his head;7218 and he put on3847 the garments899 of vengeance5359 for clothing,8516 and was clad5844 with zeal7068 as a cloak.4598

17 Denn er zeucht Gerechtigkeit6666 an3847 wie einen Panzer8302 und setzt einen Helm3553 des Heils3444 auf sein4598 Haupt7218; und zeucht sich an zur Rache5359 und kleidet8516 sich mit Eifer7068 wie mit einem Rock,

18 According5921 to their deeds,1578 accordingly5921 he will repay,7999 fury2534 to his adversaries,6862 recompense1576 to his enemies;341 to the islands339 he will repay7999 recompense.1576

18 als der1576 seinen Widersachern vergelten1576 und5921 seinen Feinden6862 mit Grimm2534 bezahlen7999 will; ja, die Inseln339 will er bezahlen7999,

|
19 So shall they fear3372 853 the name8034 of the LORD3068 from the west,4480 4628 and853 his glory3519 from the rising4480 4217 of the sun.8121 When3588 the enemy6862 shall come in935 like a flood,5104 the Spirit7307 of the LORD3068 shall lift up a standard5127 against him.

19 daß der Name des HErrn3068 gefürchtet3372 werde vom Niedergang4628 und seine Herrlichkeit3519 vom Aufgang4217 der Sonne8121, wenn er6862 kommen935 wird wie ein aufgehaltener Strom5104, den8034 der Wind7307 des HErrn3068 treibet.

20 And the Redeemer1350 shall come935 to Zion,6726 and unto them that turn from7725 transgression6588 in Jacob,3290 saith5002 the LORD.3068

20 Denn denen zu Zion6726 wird ein Erlöser1350 kommen935 und denen, die sich7725 bekehren von den Sünden6588 in Jakob3290, spricht5002 der HErr3068.

21 As for me,589 this2063 is my covenant1285 with854 them, saith559 the LORD;3068 My spirit7307 that834 is upon5921 thee, and my words1697 which834 I have put7760 in thy mouth,6310 shall not3808 depart4185 out of thy mouth,4480 6310 nor out of the mouth4480 6310 of thy seed,2233 nor out of the mouth4480 6310 of thy seed's2233 seed,2233 saith559 the LORD,3068 from henceforth4480 6258 and forever.5704 5769

21 Und ich6310 mache solchen Bund1285 mit ihnen, spricht559 der HErr3068: Mein Geist7307, der bei dir ist, und meine Worte1697, die ich in deinen Mund6310 gelegt habe7760, sollen von deinem Munde6310 nicht weichen4185 noch von dem Munde6310 deines Samens2233 und Kindeskindes, spricht559 der HErr3068, von nun an bis5704 in Ewigkeit5769.
