15 And Joshua3091 returned,7725 and all3605 Israel3478 with him, to the camp4264 to Gilgal.1537

16 But these428 five2568 kings4428 fled,5127 and hid2244 themselves in a cave4631 at Makkedah.4719

17 And it was told5046 Joshua,3091 saying,559 The five2568 kings4428 are found4672 hid2244 in a cave4631 at Makkedah.4719

19 And stay5975 you not, but pursue7291 after310 your enemies,341 and smite the hindmost2179 of them; suffer5414 them not to enter935 into413 their cities:5892 for the LORD3068 your God430 has delivered5414 them into your hand.3027

20 And it came1961 to pass, when Joshua3091 and the children1121 of Israel3478 had made an end3615 of slaying5221 them with a very3966 great1419 slaughter,4347 till5704 they were consumed,8552 that the rest8300 which remained8277 of them entered935 into413 fenced4013 cities.5892

21 And all3605 the people5971 returned7725 to the camp4264 to Joshua3091 at Makkedah4719 in peace:7965 none3808 moved2782 his tongue3956 against any of the children1121 of Israel.3478

22 Then said559 Joshua,3091 Open6605 the mouth6310 of the cave,4631 and bring3318 out those428 five2568 kings4428 to me out of the cave.4631

23 And they did6213 so,3651 and brought3318 forth3318 those428 five2568 kings4428 to him out of the cave,4631 the king4428 of Jerusalem,3389 the king4428 of Hebron,2275 the king4428 of Jarmuth, the king4428 of Lachish,3923 and the king4428 of Eglon.5700

28 And that day3117 Joshua3091 took3920 Makkedah,4719 and smote5221 it with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and the king4428 thereof he utterly destroyed,2763 them, and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein; he let none3808 remain:8300 and he did6213 to the king4428 of Makkedah4719 as he did6213 to the king4428 of Jericho.3405

29 Then Joshua3091 passed5674 from Makkedah,4719 and all3605 Israel3478 with him, to Libnah,3841 and fought3898 against5973 Libnah:3841

30 And the LORD3068 delivered5414 it also,1571 and the king4428 thereof, into the hand3027 of Israel;3478 and he smote5221 it with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein; he let none3808 remain8300 in it; but did6213 to the king4428 thereof as he did6213 to the king4428 of Jericho.3405

31 And Joshua3091 passed5674 from Libnah,3841 and all3605 Israel3478 with him, to Lachish,3923 and encamped2583 against5921 it, and fought3898 against it:

32 And the LORD3068 delivered5414 Lachish3923 into the hand3027 of Israel,3478 which took3920 it on the second8145 day,3117 and smote5221 it with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein, according to all3605 that he had done6213 to Libnah.3841

33 Then227 Horam2036 king4428 of Gezer1507 came5927 up to help5826 Lachish;3923 and Joshua3091 smote5221 him and his people,5971 until5704 he had left7604 him none1115 remaining.8300

34 And from Lachish3923 Joshua3091 passed5674 to Eglon,5700 and all3605 Israel3478 with him; and they encamped2583 against5921 it, and fought3898 against it:

35 And they took3920 it on that day,3117 and smote5221 it with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein he utterly destroyed2763 that day,3117 according to all3605 that he had done6213 to Lachish.3923

36 And Joshua3091 went5927 up from Eglon,5700 and all3605 Israel3478 with him, to Hebron;2275 and they fought3898 against5921 it:

37 And they took3920 it, and smote5221 it with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and the king4428 thereof, and all3605 the cities5892 thereof, and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein; he left7604 none3808 remaining,8300 according to all3605 that he had done6213 to Eglon;5700 but destroyed2763 it utterly, and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein.

38 And Joshua3091 returned,7725 and all3605 Israel3478 with him, to Debir;1688 and fought3898 against5921 it:

39 And he took3920 it, and the king4428 thereof, and all3605 the cities5892 thereof; and they smote5221 them with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and utterly destroyed2763 all3605 the souls5315 that were therein; he left7604 none3808 remaining:8300 as he had done6213 to Hebron,2275 so3651 he did6213 to Debir,1688 and to the king4428 thereof; as he had done6213 also to Libnah,3841 and to her king.4428

40 So Joshua3091 smote5221 all3605 the country776 of the hills,2022 and of the south,5045 and of the vale,8219 and of the springs,794 and all3605 their kings:4428 he left7604 none3808 remaining,8300 but utterly destroyed2763 all3605 that breathed,5397 as the LORD3068 God430 of Israel3478 commanded.6680

41 And Joshua3091 smote5221 them from Kadeshbarnea6947 even to Gaza,5804 and all3605 the country776 of Goshen,1657 even to Gibeon.1391

42 And all3605 these428 kings4428 and their land776 did Joshua3091 take3920 at one259 time,6471 because3588 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel3478 fought3898 for Israel.3478

43 And Joshua3091 returned,7725 and all3605 Israel3478 with him, to the camp4264 to Gilgal.1537

9 Иисус выступил из Галгала ночью и внезапно напал на врага.

10 Господь привёл эти армии в смятение, когда на них напал Израиль. Израиль нанёс им сильное поражение и одержал большую победу. Израильтяне преследовали врага по дороге в Беф-Орон и поражали их на всём пути от Гаваона до Азека и Македа.

11 Когда армия Израиля преследовала врага вниз по дороге от Беф-Орона до Азека, Господь послал с небес крупный град. Многие из врагов были убиты. Убитых градом было больше, чем тех, кто погиб от меча израильских воинов.

12 В тот день Господь предал аморреев в руки Израиля, и тогда Иисус сказал Господу перед народом Израиля: «Солнце, остановись над Гаваоном! Луна, стой над Аиалонской долиной!»

13 И остановилось солнце, и луна стояла, пока народ не разгромил своих врагов. Рассказ об этом записан в книге «Ясара»: «Солнце остановилось среди неба и не двигалось целый день».

14 Такого не случалось ни прежде, ни после того дня! Это был день, когда Господь послушался человека. Господь сражался за Израиль!

15 После этого Иисус и его армия вернулись в лагерь в Галгале.

16 А пять царей во время битвы бежали и спрятались в пещере около Македа.

17 Но кто-то узнал, что они прячутся в пещере. Узнал об этом и Иисус.

18 Он сказал: «Завалите вход в пещеру большими камнями и поставьте около него стражу,

19 а сами продолжайте преследовать врага и нападайте на него сзади. Не позволяйте врагу вернуться в их города. Господь, Бог ваш, дал вам победу над ними».

20 Так Иисус и народ Израиля уничтожили врага, но кое-кому из них всё же удалось достичь своих городов и спрятаться там. Эти люди остались живы.

21 После сражения армия Иисуса возвратилась к нему в лагерь, в Макед. И никто в этой стране не осмеливался и слова сказать против народа Израиля.

22 Тогда Иисус сказал: «Отодвиньте камни, закрывающие вход в пещеру, и приведите ко мне этих царей».

23 Пятерых царей вывели из пещеры: царя Иерусалима, царя Хеврона, царя Иармуфа, царя Лахиса и царя Еглона.

24 Их привели к Иисусу и он созвал туда всех своих людей. Тогда он сказал своим военачальникам: «Идите сюда! Наступите на шею этим царям. Вожди подошли ближе и поставили ноги на шеи царей».

25 Иисус сказал им: «Будьте тверды и храбры! Я покажу вам, что Господь сделает со всеми врагами, с которыми вам придётся воевать в будущем».

26 Иисус убил царей и повесил их на пяти деревьях, и оставил висеть там до вечера.

27 На закате солнца Иисус велел снять тела с деревьев и бросить их в пещеру, где они скрывались ранее. Вход в неё завалили большими камнями; их тела и по сей день находятся там.

28 В тот день Иисус покорил Макед. Он убил царя и жителей города — никто не уцелел. Иисус поступил с царём Македа так же, как поступил с царём Иерихона.

29 После этого Иисус и все израильтяне отправились из Македа к Ливне и атаковали этот город.

30 Господь отдал город и царя в руки израильского народа. Они убили всех в городе и никого не оставили в живых. А с их царём они сделали то же, что и с царём Иерихона.

31 Затем Иисус и весь народ Израиля ушли из Ливны и двинулись к Лахису. Они расположились лагерем около города, а потом атаковали его.

32 Господь предал Лахис в руки Израиля, и на второй день израильтяне разгромили город и убили всех его жителей, как они сделали в Ливне.

33 На помощь Лахису пришёл Горам, царь газерский, но Иисус разгромил и его армию, и никто из них не уцелел.

34 Из Лахиса Иисус и все израильтяне пошли в Еглон. Они раскинули лагерь вокруг Еглона и атаковали его.

35 Они взяли город в тот же день и сделали с ним то же, что и с Лахисом. Все жители города были убиты.

41 Иисус захватил все города от Кадес-Варны до Газы и все города от земли Гесем (в Египте) до Гаваона.

18 And Joshua3091 said,559 Roll1556 great1419 stones68 on the mouth6310 of the cave,4631 and set6485 men582 by it for to keep8104 them:

18 Он сказал: «Завалите вход в пещеру большими камнями и поставьте около него стражу,

19 And stay5975 you not, but pursue7291 after310 your enemies,341 and smite the hindmost2179 of them; suffer5414 them not to enter935 into413 their cities:5892 for the LORD3068 your God430 has delivered5414 them into your hand.3027

19 а сами продолжайте преследовать врага и нападайте на него сзади. Не позволяйте врагу вернуться в их города. Господь, Бог ваш, дал вам победу над ними».

20 And it came1961 to pass, when Joshua3091 and the children1121 of Israel3478 had made an end3615 of slaying5221 them with a very3966 great1419 slaughter,4347 till5704 they were consumed,8552 that the rest8300 which remained8277 of them entered935 into413 fenced4013 cities.5892

20 Так Иисус и народ Израиля уничтожили врага, но кое-кому из них всё же удалось достичь своих городов и спрятаться там. Эти люди остались живы.

21 And all3605 the people5971 returned7725 to the camp4264 to Joshua3091 at Makkedah4719 in peace:7965 none3808 moved2782 his tongue3956 against any of the children1121 of Israel.3478

21 После сражения армия Иисуса возвратилась к нему в лагерь, в Макед. И никто в этой стране не осмеливался и слова сказать против народа Израиля.

22 Then said559 Joshua,3091 Open6605 the mouth6310 of the cave,4631 and bring3318 out those428 five2568 kings4428 to me out of the cave.4631

22 Тогда Иисус сказал: «Отодвиньте камни, закрывающие вход в пещеру, и приведите ко мне этих царей».

23 And they did6213 so,3651 and brought3318 forth3318 those428 five2568 kings4428 to him out of the cave,4631 the king4428 of Jerusalem,3389 the king4428 of Hebron,2275 the king4428 of Jarmuth, the king4428 of Lachish,3923 and the king4428 of Eglon.5700

23 Пятерых царей вывели из пещеры: царя Иерусалима, царя Хеврона, царя Иармуфа, царя Лахиса и царя Еглона.

24 And it came1961 to pass, when they brought3318 out those428 kings4428 to Joshua,3091 that Joshua3091 called7121 for all3605 the men376 of Israel,3478 and said559 to the captains7101 of the men of war4421 which went1980 with him, Come7126 near,7126 put7760 your feet7272 on the necks6677 of these428 kings.4428 And they came7126 near,7126 and put7760 their feet7272 on the necks6677 of them.

24 Их привели к Иисусу и он созвал туда всех своих людей. Тогда он сказал своим военачальникам: «Идите сюда! Наступите на шею этим царям. Вожди подошли ближе и поставили ноги на шеи царей».

25 And Joshua3091 said559 to them, Fear3372 not, nor408 be dismayed,2865 be strong2388 and of good courage:553 for thus3602 shall the LORD3068 do6213 to all3605 your enemies341 against whom834 853 you fight.3898

25 Иисус сказал им: «Будьте тверды и храбры! Я покажу вам, что Господь сделает со всеми врагами, с которыми вам придётся воевать в будущем».

26 And afterward310 3651 Joshua3091 smote5221 them, and slew4191 them, and hanged8518 them on5921 five2568 trees:6086 and they were hanging8518 on the trees6086 until5704 the evening.6153

26 Иисус убил царей и повесил их на пяти деревьях, и оставил висеть там до вечера.

27 And it came1961 to pass at the time6256 of the going935 down of the sun,8121 that Joshua3091 commanded,6680 and they took3381 them down3381 off5921 the trees,6086 and cast7993 them into413 the cave4631 wherein834 8033 they had been hid,2244 and laid7760 great1419 stones68 in the cave's4631 mouth,6310 which remain until5704 this2088 very6106 day.3117

27 На закате солнца Иисус велел снять тела с деревьев и бросить их в пещеру, где они скрывались ранее. Вход в неё завалили большими камнями; их тела и по сей день находятся там.

28 And that day3117 Joshua3091 took3920 Makkedah,4719 and smote5221 it with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and the king4428 thereof he utterly destroyed,2763 them, and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein; he let none3808 remain:8300 and he did6213 to the king4428 of Makkedah4719 as he did6213 to the king4428 of Jericho.3405

28 В тот день Иисус покорил Макед. Он убил царя и жителей города — никто не уцелел. Иисус поступил с царём Македа так же, как поступил с царём Иерихона.

29 Then Joshua3091 passed5674 from Makkedah,4719 and all3605 Israel3478 with him, to Libnah,3841 and fought3898 against5973 Libnah:3841

29 После этого Иисус и все израильтяне отправились из Македа к Ливне и атаковали этот город.

30 And the LORD3068 delivered5414 it also,1571 and the king4428 thereof, into the hand3027 of Israel;3478 and he smote5221 it with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein; he let none3808 remain8300 in it; but did6213 to the king4428 thereof as he did6213 to the king4428 of Jericho.3405

30 Господь отдал город и царя в руки израильского народа. Они убили всех в городе и никого не оставили в живых. А с их царём они сделали то же, что и с царём Иерихона.

31 And Joshua3091 passed5674 from Libnah,3841 and all3605 Israel3478 with him, to Lachish,3923 and encamped2583 against5921 it, and fought3898 against it:

31 Затем Иисус и весь народ Израиля ушли из Ливны и двинулись к Лахису. Они расположились лагерем около города, а потом атаковали его.

32 And the LORD3068 delivered5414 Lachish3923 into the hand3027 of Israel,3478 which took3920 it on the second8145 day,3117 and smote5221 it with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein, according to all3605 that he had done6213 to Libnah.3841

32 Господь предал Лахис в руки Израиля, и на второй день израильтяне разгромили город и убили всех его жителей, как они сделали в Ливне.

33 Then227 Horam2036 king4428 of Gezer1507 came5927 up to help5826 Lachish;3923 and Joshua3091 smote5221 him and his people,5971 until5704 he had left7604 him none1115 remaining.8300

33 На помощь Лахису пришёл Горам, царь газерский, но Иисус разгромил и его армию, и никто из них не уцелел.

34 And from Lachish3923 Joshua3091 passed5674 to Eglon,5700 and all3605 Israel3478 with him; and they encamped2583 against5921 it, and fought3898 against it:

34 Из Лахиса Иисус и все израильтяне пошли в Еглон. Они раскинули лагерь вокруг Еглона и атаковали его.

35 And they took3920 it on that day,3117 and smote5221 it with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein he utterly destroyed2763 that day,3117 according to all3605 that he had done6213 to Lachish.3923

35 Они взяли город в тот же день и сделали с ним то же, что и с Лахисом. Все жители города были убиты.

36 And Joshua3091 went5927 up from Eglon,5700 and all3605 Israel3478 with him, to Hebron;2275 and they fought3898 against5921 it:

36 Из Еглона Иисус и все израильтяне пошли в Хеврон и напали на него.

37 And they took3920 it, and smote5221 it with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and the king4428 thereof, and all3605 the cities5892 thereof, and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein; he left7604 none3808 remaining,8300 according to all3605 that he had done6213 to Eglon;5700 but destroyed2763 it utterly, and all3605 the souls5315 that were therein.

37 Они взяли этот город и все городки около Хеврона. Израильтяне убили всех жителей в городе, не оставив ни одного в живых, как они сделали в Еглоне. Они разрушили Хеврон и убили всех его жителей.

38 And Joshua3091 returned,7725 and all3605 Israel3478 with him, to Debir;1688 and fought3898 against5921 it:

38 Затем Иисус и весь народ Израиля вернулись в Девир и напали на этот город.

39 And he took3920 it, and the king4428 thereof, and all3605 the cities5892 thereof; and they smote5221 them with the edge6310 of the sword,2719 and utterly destroyed2763 all3605 the souls5315 that were therein; he left7604 none3808 remaining:8300 as he had done6213 to Hebron,2275 so3651 he did6213 to Debir,1688 and to the king4428 thereof; as he had done6213 also to Libnah,3841 and to her king.4428

39 Они захватили город, его царя и все города около Девира. Они убили всех в этом городе, никто не уцелел. Израильтяне сделали с Девиром то же, что с Хевроном и его царём, с Ливной и её царём.

40 So Joshua3091 smote5221 all3605 the country776 of the hills,2022 and of the south,5045 and of the vale,8219 and of the springs,794 and all3605 their kings:4428 he left7604 none3808 remaining,8300 but utterly destroyed2763 all3605 that breathed,5397 as the LORD3068 God430 of Israel3478 commanded.6680

40 Так Иисус разгромил всех царей городов нагорной страны, Негева, восточных и западных предгорий. Господь, Бог Израиля, велел Иисусу убивать всех, и Иисус не оставил в тех местах ни одного, кто бы уцелел.

41 And Joshua3091 smote5221 them from Kadeshbarnea6947 even to Gaza,5804 and all3605 the country776 of Goshen,1657 even to Gibeon.1391

41 Иисус захватил все города от Кадес-Варны до Газы и все города от земли Гесем (в Египте) до Гаваона.

42 And all3605 these428 kings4428 and their land776 did Joshua3091 take3920 at one259 time,6471 because3588 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel3478 fought3898 for Israel.3478

42 Иисус захватил эти города и их царей, всех за один военный поход, потому что Господь, Бог Израиля, сражался за Израиль.

43 And Joshua3091 returned,7725 and all3605 Israel3478 with him, to the camp4264 to Gilgal.1537

43 Затем Иисус и весь народ Израиля вернулись в свой лагерь в Галгале.
