Chapter 12

1 These428 are the statutes2706 and judgments,4941 which834 you shall observe8104 to do6213 in the land,776 which834 the LORD3068 God430 of your fathers1 gives5414 you to possess3423 it, all3605 the days3117 that you live2416 on the earth.127

2 You shall utterly destroy6 all3605 the places,4725 wherein834 8033 the nations1471 which834 you shall possess3423 served5647 their gods,430 on the high7311 mountains,2022 and on the hills,1389 and under8478 every3605 green7488 tree:6086

3 And you shall overthrow5422 their altars,4196 and break7665 their pillars,4676 and burn8313 their groves842 with fire;784 and you shall hew1438 down1438 the graven6456 images of their gods,430 and destroy6 the names8034 of them out of that place.4725

4 You shall not do6213 so3651 to the LORD3068 your God.430

5 But to the place4725 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 shall choose977 out of all3605 your tribes7626 to put7760 his name8034 there,8033 even to his habitation7933 shall you seek,1875 and thither8033 you shall come:935

6 And thither8033 you shall bring935 your burnt5930 offerings, and your sacrifices,2077 and your tithes,4643 and heave8641 offerings of your hand,3027 and your vows,5088 and your freewill5071 offerings, and the firstborn1062 of your herds1241 and of your flocks:6629

7 And there8033 you shall eat398 before6440 the LORD3068 your God,430 and you shall rejoice8055 in all3605 that you put4916 your hand3027 to, you and your households,1004 wherein834 the LORD3068 your God430 has blessed1288 you.

8 You shall not do6213 after all3605 the things that we do6213 here6311 this day,3117 every man376 whatever3605 is right3477 in his own eyes.5869

9 For you are not as yet5704 6258 come935 to the rest4496 and to the inheritance,5159 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 gives5414 you.

10 But when you go5674 over5674 Jordan,3383 and dwell3427 in the land776 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 gives you to inherit,5157 and when he gives you rest5117 from all3605 your enemies341 round5439 about, so that you dwell3427 in safety;983

11 Then there shall be a place4725 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 shall choose977 to cause his name8034 to dwell7931 there;8033 thither8033 shall you bring935 all3605 that I command6680 you; your burnt5930 offerings, and your sacrifices,2077 your tithes,4643 and the heave8641 offering8641 of your hand,3027 and all3605 your choice4005 vows5088 which834 you vow5087 to the LORD:3068

12 And you shall rejoice8055 before6440 the LORD3068 your God,430 you, and your sons,1121 and your daughters,1323 and your menservants,5650 and your maidservants,519 and the Levite3881 that is within your gates;8179 for as much3588 as he has no369 part2506 nor inheritance5159 with you.

13 Take heed8104 to yourself that you offer5927 not your burnt5930 offerings in every3605 place4725 that you see:7200

14 But in the place4725 which834 the LORD3068 shall choose977 in one259 of your tribes,7626 there8033 you shall offer5927 your burnt5930 offerings, and there8033 you shall do6213 all3605 that I command6680 you.

15 Notwithstanding7535 you may kill2076 and eat398 flesh1320 in all3605 your gates,8179 whatever3605 your soul5315 lusts183 after, according to the blessing1293 of the LORD3068 your God430 which834 he has given5414 you: the unclean2931 and the clean2889 may eat398 thereof, as of the roebuck,6643 and as of the hart.354

16 Only7535 you shall not eat398 the blood;1818 you shall pour8210 it on the earth776 as water.4325

17 You may3201 not eat398 within your gates8179 the tithe4643 of your corn,1715 or of your wine,8492 or of your oil,3323 or the firstborn1062 of your herds1241 or of your flock,6629 nor any3605 of your vows5088 which834 you vow,5087 nor your freewill5071 offerings, or heave8641 offering8641 of your hand:3027

18 But you must eat398 them before6440 the LORD3068 your God430 in the place4725 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 shall choose,977 you, and your son,1121 and your daughter,1323 and your manservant,5650 and your maidservant,519 and the Levite3881 that is within your gates:8179 and you shall rejoice8055 before6440 the LORD3068 your God430 in all3605 that you put4916 your hands3027 to.

19 Take heed8104 to yourself that you forsake5800 not the Levite3881 as long3117 as you live3117 on the earth.127

20 When3588 the LORD3068 your God430 shall enlarge7337 your border,1366 as he has promised1696 you, and you shall say,559 I will eat398 flesh,1320 because3588 your soul5315 longs183 to eat398 flesh;1320 you may eat398 flesh,1320 whatever3605 your soul5315 lusts183 after.

21 If3588 the place4725 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 has chosen977 to put7760 his name8034 there8033 be too7368 far7368 from you, then you shall kill2076 of your herd1241 and of your flock,6629 which834 the LORD3068 has given5414 you, as I have commanded6680 you, and you shall eat398 in your gates8179 whatever3605 your soul5315 lusts183 after.

22 Even389 as the roebuck6643 and the hart354 is eaten,398 so3651 you shall eat398 them: the unclean2931 and the clean2889 shall eat398 of them alike.3162

23 Only7535 be sure2388 that you eat398 not the blood:1818 for the blood1818 is the life;5315 and you may not eat398 the life5315 with the flesh.1320

24 You shall not eat398 it; you shall pour8210 it on the earth776 as water.4325

25 You shall not eat398 it; that it may go well3190 with you, and with your children1121 after310 you, when3588 you shall do6213 that which is right3477 in the sight5869 of the LORD.3068

28 Observe8104 and hear8085 all3605 these428 words1697 which834 I command6680 you, that it may go well3190 with you, and with your children1121 after310 you for ever,5769 when3588 you do6213 that which is good2896 and right3477 in the sight5869 of the LORD3068 your God.430

29 When3588 the LORD3068 your God430 shall cut3772 off the nations1471 from before6440 you, where834 8033 you go935 to possess3423 them, and you succeed3423 them, and dwell3427 in their land;776

30 Take heed8104 to yourself that you be not snared5367 by following310 them, after310 that they be destroyed8045 from before6440 you; and that you inquire1875 not after their gods,430 saying,559 How349 did these428 nations1471 serve5647 their gods?430 even1571 so3651 will I do6213 likewise.3651

31 You shall not do6213 so3651 to the LORD3068 your God:430 for every3605 abomination8441 to the LORD,3068 which834 he hates,8130 have they done6213 to their gods;430 for even1571 their sons1121 and their daughters1323 they have burnt8313 in the fire784 to their gods.430

32 What853 thing1697 soever834 I command6680 you, observe8104 to do6213 it: you shall not add3254 thereto,5921 nor3808 diminish1639 from it.

3 Разрушьте жертвенники их, сокрушите столпы их, сожгите огнем рощи их, разбейте истуканы богов их, истребите имя их от места того.

4 Не то должны вы делать для Иеговы, Бога вашего.

5 Но на месте, какое изберет Иегова, Бог ваш, из всех колен ваших, чтобы положить имя Свое там, и жить на нем, там ищите Его, и туда приходите,

6 И туда приносите всесожжения ваши, и жертвы ваши, и десятины ваши, и возношение рук ваших, и обеты ваши, и приношения усердия вашего, [и благодарственные жертвы ваши,] и первенцев крупного скота вашего и мелкого скота вашего,

7 И ешьте там пред Иеговою, Богом вашим, и веселитесь, вы и семейства ваши, о всем, что проходило чрез руки ваши, чем благословил тебя Иегова, Бог твой.

8 [Там] вы не должны делать всего того, что мы теперь здесь делаем; ибо делаем все, что кому кажется правильным.

9 Ибо вы ныне еще не вступили в место покоя и в удел, который Иегова, Бог твой, дает тебе.

10 Но когда перейдете за Иордан и поселитесь на той земле, которую Иегова, Бог ваш, дает вам в удел, и когда Он успокоит вас от всех врагов ваших, окружающих вас, и будете жить безопасно:

11 Тогда, какое место изберет Иегова, Бог ваш, чтобы обитать имени Его там, туда приносите все, что я заповедаю вам [сегодня]: всесожжения ваши и жертвы ваши, десятины ваши и возношение рук ваших, и все избранное по обетам вашим, что вы обещали Иегове [Богу вашему].

12 И веселитесь пред Иеговою, Богом вашим, вы и сыны ваши, и дочери ваши, и рабы ваши, и рабыни ваши, и Левит, который в жилищах ваших, ибо нет ему части и удела с вами.

13 Берегись приносить всесожжения твои на всяком месте, которое ты увидишь;

14 Но на том только месте, которое изберет Иегова [Бог твой] в одном из колен твоих, приноси всесожжения твои, и делай все, что я заповедаю тебе [сегодня].

15 Впрочем, когда только пожелает душа твоя, можешь закалать и есть мясо, по благословению Иеговы, Бога твоего, которое Он дал тебе, во всех жилищах твоих, нечистый и чистый могут есть сие, как серну и как оленя.

16 Только крови не ешьте; на землю выливайте ее, как воду.

17 Не можно тебе есть в жилищах твоих десятины хлеба твоего, и вина твоего, и елея твоего, и первенцев крупного скота твоего и мелкого скота твоего, и всех обетов твоих, которые ты обещал, и приносимого по усердию твоему и возносимого руками твоими.

18 Но ешь сие [только] пред Иеговою, Богом твоим, на том месте, которое изберет Иегова, Бог твой, ты, и сын твой, и дочь твоя, и раб твой, и раба твоя, и Левит, [и пришлец,] который в жилищах твоих, и веселись пред Иеговою Богом твоим о всем, что проходило чрез руки твои.

19 Смотри, не оставляй Левита во все дни, [которые будешь жить] на земле твоей.

20 Когда распространит Иегова, Бог твой, пределы твои, как Он говорил тебе, и ты скажешь: поем я мяса, потому что душа твоя пожелает есть мяса: тогда, по желанию души твоей ешь мясо.

21 Если далеко будет от тебя то место, которое изберет Иегова, Бог твой, чтобы положить имя Свое там: то закалай из крупного и мелкого скота твоего, который дал тебе Иегова, [Бог твой,] как я повелел тебе, и ешь в жилищах твоих, по желанию души твоей.

22 Впрочем ешь их так, как едят серну и оленя; нечистый как и чистый [у тебя] могут есть сие.

23 Только крепко наблюдай, чтобы не есть крови, потому что кровь есть душа [его]; не ешь души вместе с мясом.

24 Не ешь ее; выливай ее на землю, как воду.

25 Не ешь ее, дабы хорошо было тебе и детям твоим после тебя [во веки], когда будешь делать [доброе] и справедливое пред очами Иеговы [Бога твоего].

26 Только святыни твои, какие будут у тебя, и обеты твои приноси, и приходи на то место, которое изберет Иегова, [Бог твой, чтобы призываемо было там имя Его,]

27 И совершай всесожжения твои, мясо и кровь [полагая] на жертвеннике Иеговы, Бога твоего: но кровь других жертв твоих должна быть проливаема у [ступеней] жертвенника Иеговы, Бога твоего, а мясо ешь.

28 Со вниманием слушай [и исполняй] все слова сии, которые заповедаю тебе; дабы хорошо было тебе и детям твоим после вовек; когда ты будешь делать доброе и справедливое пред очами Иеговы, Бога твоего.

29 Когда Иегова, Бог твой, истребит от лица твоего народы, которых [землю] ты идешь взять в наследие, и ты возьмешь их в наследие, и поселишься в земле их;

30 Тогда берегись, чтобы ты не попал в сеть, последуя им, когда они будут истреблены от лица твоего; не ищи богов их, говоря: как почитали богов своих народы сии, буду и я делать также.

31 Не делай так Иегове, Богу твоему, поелику все, чего гнушается Иегова, что ненавидит он, они делают богам своим; они и сынов своих и дочерей своих сожигают на огне богам своим.

32 Все, что я заповедаю вам, старайтесь исполнять; не прибавляй к тому и не убавляй от того.

27 И совершай всесожжения твои, мясо и кровь [полагая] на жертвеннике Иеговы, Бога твоего: но кровь других жертв твоих должна быть проливаема у [ступеней] жертвенника Иеговы, Бога твоего, а мясо ешь.

28 Со вниманием слушай [и исполняй] все слова сии, которые заповедаю тебе; дабы хорошо было тебе и детям твоим после вовек; когда ты будешь делать доброе и справедливое пред очами Иеговы, Бога твоего.

29 When3588 the LORD3068 your God430 shall cut3772 off the nations1471 from before6440 you, where834 8033 you go935 to possess3423 them, and you succeed3423 them, and dwell3427 in their land;776

29 Когда Иегова, Бог твой, истребит от лица твоего народы, которых [землю] ты идешь взять в наследие, и ты возьмешь их в наследие, и поселишься в земле их;

30 Take heed8104 to yourself that you be not snared5367 by following310 them, after310 that they be destroyed8045 from before6440 you; and that you inquire1875 not after their gods,430 saying,559 How349 did these428 nations1471 serve5647 their gods?430 even1571 so3651 will I do6213 likewise.3651

30 Тогда берегись, чтобы ты не попал в сеть, последуя им, когда они будут истреблены от лица твоего; не ищи богов их, говоря: как почитали богов своих народы сии, буду и я делать также.

31 You shall not do6213 so3651 to the LORD3068 your God:430 for every3605 abomination8441 to the LORD,3068 which834 he hates,8130 have they done6213 to their gods;430 for even1571 their sons1121 and their daughters1323 they have burnt8313 in the fire784 to their gods.430

31 Не делай так Иегове, Богу твоему, поелику все, чего гнушается Иегова, что ненавидит он, они делают богам своим; они и сынов своих и дочерей своих сожигают на огне богам своим.

32 What853 thing1697 soever834 I command6680 you, observe8104 to do6213 it: you shall not add3254 thereto,5921 nor3808 diminish1639 from it.

32 Все, что я заповедаю вам, старайтесь исполнять; не прибавляй к тому и не убавляй от того.
