1 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 to Moses,4872 saying,559

2 Speak1696 to the children1121 of Israel,3478 and take3947 of every one of them a rod4294 according to the house1004 of their fathers,1 of all3605 their princes5387 according to the house1004 of their fathers1 twelve8147 6240 rods:4294 write3789 you every man's376 name8034 on his rod.4294

3 And you shall write3789 Aaron's175 name8034 on the rod4294 of Levi:3878 for one259 rod4294 shall be for the head7218 of the house1004 of their fathers.1

4 And you shall lay3240 them up in the tabernacle168 of the congregation4150 before6440 the testimony,5715 where834 8033 I will meet3259 with you.

5 And it shall come1961 to pass, that the man's376 rod,4294 whom834 I shall choose,977 shall blossom:6524 and I will make to cease7918 from me the murmurings8519 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 whereby834 they murmur3885 against5921 you.

6 And Moses4872 spoke1696 to the children1121 of Israel,3478 and every3605 one of their princes5387 gave5414 him a rod4294 apiece, for each prince5387 one,259 according to their fathers'1 houses,1004 even twelve8147 6240 rods:4294 and the rod4294 of Aaron175 was among8432 their rods.4294

7 And Moses4872 laid3240 up the rods4294 before6440 the LORD3068 in the tabernacle168 of witness.5715

8 And it came1961 to pass, that on5921 the morrow4283 Moses4872 went935 into413 the tabernacle168 of witness;5715 and, behold,2009 the rod4294 of Aaron175 for the house1004 of Levi3878 was budded,6524 and brought3318 forth3318 buds,6525 and bloomed6692 blossoms,6731 and yielded1580 almonds.8247

9 And Moses4872 brought3318 out all3605 the rods4294 from before6440 the LORD3068 to all3605 the children1121 of Israel:3478 and they looked,7200 and took3947 every man376 his rod.4294

10 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 Bring7725 Aaron's175 rod4294 again7725 before6440 the testimony,5715 to be kept4931 for a token226 against the rebels;4805 and you shall quite3615 take3615 away their murmurings8519 from me, that they die4191 not.

11 And Moses4872 did6213 so: as the LORD3068 commanded6680 him, so3651 did6213 he.

12 And the children1121 of Israel3478 spoke559 to Moses,4872 saying,559 Behold,2005 we die,1478 we perish,6 we all3605 perish.6

13 Whoever3605 comes7131 any thing near7138 to the tabernacle4908 of the LORD3068 shall die:4191 shall we be consumed8552 with dying?1478

2 «Поговори с сынами Израилевыми и возьми у них по одному посоху от каждого колена — у всех двенадцати вождей; напиши имя каждого из этих мужей на его посохе.

3 На посохе Левия напиши имя Аарона — по одному посоху должно быть от главы колена.

4 Посохи положи в Шатре Откровения, перед ковчегом Свидетельства, там, где Я являюсь вам.

5 И посох человека, Мной избранного, оживет и распустится. Так остановлю Я ропот сынов Израилевых, постоянно ропщущих на вас».

6 Моисей рассказал об этом сынам Израилевым, и их вожди дали ему двенадцать посохов: по одному посоху от каждого вождя, главы колена. Был среди них и посох Аарона.

7 Моисей положил все посохи пред ГОСПОДОМ, в Шатре, у ковчега Свидетельства.

8 На следующий день Моисей вошел в Шатер Свидетельства и увидел, что посох Аарона, посох колена Левия, на самом деле распустился: появились почки, распустились цветы и созрел миндаль.

9 И вынес Моисей все посохи, что были пред ГОСПОДОМ, и показал их всем сынам Израилевым. Они осмотрели их, и каждый взял свой посох.

10 А ГОСПОДЬ сказал Моисею: «Посох Аарона внеси назад и положи у ковчега Свидетельства; пусть там он хранится как предостережение для строптивцев, чтобы ты мог угашать их ропот против Меня и не умирали бы они».

11 Моисей сделал так, как повелел ему ГОСПОДЬ.

12 Но сыны Израилевы говорили Моисею: «Мы уже не жильцы на свете. Это наш смертный приговор.

13 Всякий, кто только приблизится к Скинии ГОСПОДНЕЙ, тому уже не жить. Так, значит, мы все обречены на смерть?»

10 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 Bring7725 Aaron's175 rod4294 again7725 before6440 the testimony,5715 to be kept4931 for a token226 against the rebels;4805 and you shall quite3615 take3615 away their murmurings8519 from me, that they die4191 not.

10 А ГОСПОДЬ сказал Моисею: «Посох Аарона внеси назад и положи у ковчега Свидетельства; пусть там он хранится как предостережение для строптивцев, чтобы ты мог угашать их ропот против Меня и не умирали бы они».

11 Моисей сделал так, как повелел ему ГОСПОДЬ.
