1 Again the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559

2 Son1121 of man,120 cause Jerusalem3389 to know3045 her abominations,8441

3 And say,559 Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD3069 to Jerusalem;3389 Your birth4351 and your nativity4138 is of the land776 of Canaan;3667 your father1 was an Amorite,567 and your mother517 an Hittite.2850

4 And as for your nativity,4138 in the day3117 you were born3205 your navel8270 was not cut,3772 neither3808 were you washed7364 in water4325 to supple4935 you; you were not salted4414 at all, nor3808 swaddled2853 at all.

5 None3808 eye5869 pitied2347 you, to do6213 any259 of these428 to you, to have compassion2550 on you; but you were cast7993 out in the open6440 field,7704 to the loathing1604 of your person,5315 in the day3117 that you were born.3205

6 And when I passed5674 by you, and saw7200 you polluted947 in your own blood,1818 I said559 to you when you were in your blood,1818 Live;2421 yes, I said559 to you when you were in your blood,1818 Live.2421

7 I have caused5414 you to multiply7233 as the bud6779 of the field,7704 and you have increased7235 and waxen great,1431 and you are come935 to excellent5716 ornaments:5716 your breasts7699 are fashioned,3559 and your hair8181 is grown,6779 whereas you were naked5903 and bore.6181

8 Now when I passed5674 by you, and looked7200 on you, behold,2009 your time6256 was the time6256 of love;1730 and I spread6566 my skirt3671 over5921 you, and covered3680 your nakedness:6172 yes, I swore7650 to you, and entered935 into a covenant1285 with you, said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 and you became1961 mine.

9 Then washed7364 I you with water;4325 yes, I thoroughly washed7857 away your blood1818 from you, and I anointed5480 you with oil.8081

10 I clothed3847 you also with broidered7553 work,7553 and shod5274 you with badgers'8476 skin, and I girded2280 you about with fine linen,8336 and I covered3680 you with silk.4897

11 I decked5710 you also with ornaments,5716 and I put5414 bracelets6781 on your hands,3027 and a chain7242 on5921 your neck.1627

12 And I put5414 a jewel5141 on5921 your forehead,639 and earrings5694 in your ears,241 and a beautiful8597 crown5850 on your head.7218

13 Thus were you decked5710 with gold2091 and silver;3701 and your raiment4403 was of fine linen,8336 and silk,4897 and broidered7553 work;7553 you did eat398 fine flour,5560 and honey,1706 and oil:8081 and you were exceeding3966 beautiful,3303 and you did prosper6743 into a kingdom.4410

15 But you did trust982 in your own beauty,3308 and played the harlot2181 because5921 of your renown,8034 and poured8210 out your fornications8457 on every3605 one that passed5674 by; his it was.

16 And of your garments899 you did take,3947 and decked6213 your high1116 places with divers2921 colors,2921 and played the harlot2181 thereupon: the like things shall not come,935 neither3808 shall it be so.

17 You have also taken3947 your fair8597 jewels3627 of my gold2091 and of my silver,3701 which834 I had given5414 you, and made6213 to yourself images6754 of men,2145 and did commit2181 prostitution2181 with them,

18 And took3947 your broidered7553 garments,899 and covered them: and you have set5414 my oil8081 and my incense7004 before6440 them.

19 My meat3899 also which834 I gave5414 you, fine flour,5560 and oil,8081 and honey,1706 with which I fed398 you, you have even set5414 it before6440 them for a sweet5207 smell:7381 and thus it was, said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

20 Moreover you have taken3947 your sons1121 and your daughters,1323 whom834 you have borne3205 to me, and these have you sacrificed2076 to them to be devoured.398 Is this of your prostitutions8457 a small4592 matter,

21 That you have slain7819 my children,1121 and delivered5414 them to cause them to pass5674 through the fire for them?

22 And in all3605 your abominations8441 and your prostitutions8457 you have not remembered2142 the days3117 of your youth,5271 when you were1961 naked5903 and bore,6181 and were1961 polluted947 in your blood.1818

23 And it came1961 to pass after310 all3605 your wickedness,7451 (woe,188 woe188 to you! said5002 the LORD136 GOD;3069)

24 That you have also built1129 to you an eminent1354 place, and have made6213 you an high7413 place in every3605 street.7339

25 You have built1129 your high7413 place at413 every3605 head7218 of the way,1870 and have made your beauty3308 to be abhorred,8581 and have opened6589 your feet7272 to every3605 one that passed5674 by, and multiplied7235 your prostitutions.8457

26 You have also committed2181 fornication2181 with the Egyptians4714 your neighbors,7934 great1432 of flesh;1320 and have increased7235 your prostitutions,8457 to provoke me to anger.3707

27 Behold,2009 therefore I have stretched5186 out my hand3027 over5921 you, and have diminished1639 your ordinary2706 food, and delivered5414 you to the will5315 of them that hate8130 you, the daughters1323 of the Philistines,6430 which are ashamed3637 of your lewd2154 way.1870

28 You have played the whore2181 also with the Assyrians,1121 804 because1115 you were insatiable;1115 7654 yes, you have played the harlot2181 with them, and yet could not be satisfied.7646

29 You have moreover multiplied7235 your fornication8457 in the land776 of Canaan3667 to Chaldea;3778 and yet1571 you were not satisfied7646 therewith.2063

30 How4100 weak535 is your heart,3826 said5002 the LORD136 GOD,3069 seeing you do6213 all3605 these428 things, the work4639 of an imperious7986 whorish2181 woman;802

31 In that you build1129 your eminent1354 place in the head7218 of every3605 way,1870 and make6213 your high7413 place in every3605 street;7339 and have not been1961 as an harlot,2181 in that you scorn7046 hire;868

32 But as a wife802 that commits5003 adultery,5003 which takes3947 strangers2114 instead8478 of her husband!376

33 They give5414 gifts5078 to all3605 whores:2181 but you give5414 your gifts5083 to all3605 your lovers,157 and hire7809 them, that they may come935 to you on every5437 side5439 for your prostitution.8457

34 And the contrary2016 is in you from other women802 in your prostitutions,8457 whereas none3808 follows310 you to commit2181 prostitutions:2181 and in that you give5414 a reward,868 and no3808 reward868 is given5414 to you, therefore you are contrary.2016

35 Why,3651 O harlot,2181 hear8085 the word1697 of the LORD:3068

36 Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Because3282 your filthiness5178 was poured8210 out, and your nakedness6172 discovered1540 through your prostitutions8457 with your lovers,157 and with all3605 the idols1544 of your abominations,8441 and by the blood1818 of your children,1121 which834 you did give5414 to them;

37 Behold,2005 therefore3651 I will gather6908 all3605 your lovers,157 with whom834 you have taken pleasure,6149 and all3605 them that you have loved,157 with all3605 them that you have hated;8130 I will even gather6908 them round5439 about against5921 you, and will discover1540 your nakedness6172 to them, that they may see7200 all3605 your nakedness.6172

38 And I will judge8199 you, as women that break5003 wedlock5003 and shed8210 blood1818 are judged;4941 and I will give5414 you blood1818 in fury2534 and jealousy.7068

39 And I will also give5414 you into their hand,3027 and they shall throw2040 down2040 your eminent1354 place, and shall break5422 down5422 your high7413 places: they shall strip6584 you also of your clothes,899 and shall take3947 your fair8597 jewels,3627 and leave5117 you naked5903 and bore.6181

40 They shall also bring5927 up a company6951 against5921 you, and they shall stone7275 you with stones,68 and thrust1333 you through with their swords.2719

41 And they shall burn8313 your houses1004 with fire,784 and execute6213 judgments8201 on you in the sight5869 of many7227 women:802 and I will cause you to cease7673 from playing the harlot,2181 and you also1571 shall give5414 no3808 hire868 any more.5750

42 So will I make my fury2534 toward you to rest,5117 and my jealousy7068 shall depart5493 from you, and I will be quiet,8252 and will be no3808 more5750 angry.3707

43 Because3282 834 you have not remembered2142 the days3117 of your youth,5271 but have fretted7264 me in all3605 these428 things; behold,1887 therefore I also1571 will recompense5414 your way1870 on your head,7218 said5002 the Lord136 GOD:3069 and you shall not commit6213 this lewdness2154 above5921 all3605 your abominations.8441

44 Behold,2009 every3605 one that uses proverbs4911 shall use4911 this proverb4911 against5921 you, saying,559 As is the mother,517 so is her daughter.1323

45 You are your mother's517 daughter,1323 that lothes1602 her husband376 and her children;1121 and you are the sister269 of your sisters,269 which834 loathed1602 their husbands582 and their children:1121 your mother517 was an Hittite,2850 and your father1 an Amorite.567

46 And your elder1419 sister269 is Samaria,8111 she and her daughters1323 that dwell3427 at5921 your left8040 hand:8040 and your younger6996 sister,269 that dwells3427 at your right3225 hand,3225 is Sodom5467 and her daughters.1323

47 Yet have you not walked1980 after their ways,1870 nor done6213 after their abominations:8441 but, as if that were a very6985 little4592 thing, you were corrupted7843 more than they in all3605 your ways.1870

48 As I live,2416 said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 Sodom5467 your sister269 has not done,6213 she nor her daughters,1323 as you have done,6213 you and your daughters.1323

49 Behold,2009 this2088 was the iniquity5771 of your sister269 Sodom,5467 pride,1347 fullness7653 of bread,3899 and abundance7962 of idleness8252 was in her and in her daughters,1323 neither3808 did she strengthen2388 the hand3027 of the poor6041 and needy.34

50 And they were haughty,1361 and committed6213 abomination8441 before6440 me: therefore I took5493 them away5493 as I saw7200 good.

51 Neither3808 has Samaria8111 committed2398 half2677 of your sins;2403 but you have multiplied7235 your abominations8441 more than they, and have justified6663 your sisters269 in all3605 your abominations8441 which834 you have done.6213

52 You also,1571 which834 have judged6419 your sisters,269 bear5375 your own shame3639 for your sins2403 that you have committed8581 more abominable8581 than they: they are more righteous6663 than you: yes,1571 be you confounded954 also,1571 and bear5375 your shame,3639 in that you have justified6663 your sisters.269

53 When I shall bring7725 again7725 their captivity,7622 the captivity7622 of Sodom5467 and her daughters,1323 and the captivity7622 of Samaria8111 and her daughters,1323 then will I bring again the captivity7622 of your captives7628 in the middle8432 of them:

54 That you may bear5375 your own shame,3639 and may be confounded3637 in all3605 that you have done,6213 in that you are a comfort5162 to them.

55 When your sisters,269 Sodom5467 and her daughters,1323 shall return7725 to their former6927 estate, and Samaria8111 and her daughters1323 shall return7725 to their former6927 estate, then you and your daughters1323 shall return7725 to your former6927 estate.

56 For your sister269 Sodom5467 was not mentioned8052 by your mouth6310 in the day3117 of your pride,1347

57 Before2962 your wickedness7451 was discovered,1540 as at the time6256 of your reproach2781 of the daughters1323 of Syria,758 and all3605 that are round5439 about her, the daughters1323 of the Philistines,6430 which despise7590 you round5439 about.

58 You have borne5375 your lewdness2154 and your abominations,8441 said5002 the LORD.3068

59 For thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 I will even deal6213 with you as you have done,6213 which834 have despised959 the oath423 in breaking6565 the covenant.1285

60 Nevertheless I will remember2142 my covenant1285 with you in the days3117 of your youth,5271 and I will establish6965 to you an everlasting5769 covenant.1285

61 Then you shall remember2142 your ways,1870 and be ashamed,3637 when you shall receive3947 your sisters,269 your elder1419 and your younger:6996 and I will give5414 them to you for daughters,1323 but not by your covenant.1285

62 And I will establish6965 my covenant1285 with you; and you shall know3045 that I am the LORD:3068

63 That you may remember,2142 and be confounded,954 and never3808 open6610 your mouth6310 any more5750 because6440 of your shame,3639 when I am pacified3722 toward you for all3605 that you have done,6213 said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

3 провозгласи такие слова Владыки ГОСПОДА Иерусалиму: „Столица, родом ты из земли ханаанской, оттуда происхождение твое: твой отец — аморей, а мать — хеттка.

4 В день твоего рождения пуповину тебе не перерезали, дочиста водой не отмыли, солью раны твои не присыпали и не спеленали тебя.

5 Никто не взглянул на тебя с состраданием, ничего из этого не сделал, жалея тебя, — нет, в самый день твоего рождения ты была брошена в чистом поле. Тебя отвергли с презрением в день твоего рождения.

6 Я проходил мимо тебя, увидел, как ты трепещешь окровавленная, и сказал тебе, окровавленной: „Ты будешь жить!“ Я сказал тебе, окровавленной: „Ты будешь жить,

7 и Я выращу тебя, как траву полевую“. Выросла ты, стала высокой и стройной, достигла расцвета: грудь поднялась, выросли волосы, но была ты нага, не было на тебе одежд.

8 Проходил Я мимо, посмотрел на тебя и увидел, что настала для тебя пора любви. И Я распростер над тобою края одеяний Своих, покрыл твою наготу, дал клятву и заключил с тобою Союз, Завет, — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА, — и так ты стала Моей.

9 Омыл Я тебя водою, смыл кровь и умастил оливковым маслом,

10 одел в нарядные одежды, обул тебя в обувь из кожи тонкой выделки, в чистый лен тебя облек, накинул покрывало из лучшей ткани.

11 Я одарил тебя драгоценностями, на запястья надел тебе браслеты, а на шею — ожерелье,

12 украсил Я кольцом тебе нос и серьгами — уши, прекрасный венец возложил на голову.

13 Так была ты наряжена в золото и серебро, одета в чистый лен и разноцветные ткани, ела хлеб из отборной муки с медом и оливковым маслом. Стала ты прекрасна, царского величия достойна!

14 Молва о твоей красе разошлась средь народов, такой она была совершенной, потому что Я одарил тебя великолепием Своим“, — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА.

15 „Но ты положилась на собственную красоту, воспользовавшись славой своей, ты предалась блуду, бесстыдно отдаваясь всякому встречному.

16 Ты взяла свои наряды, разукрасила холмы, где вы идолам поклоняетесь, и предавалась там неслыханному разврату.

17 Взяла ты и украшения из Моего золота и серебра, те самые, которыми Я тебя одарил, сделала из них идолов и блудила с ними,

18 рядила их в свои разноцветные одежды и подносила им оливковое масло и благовония, предназначавшиеся Мне.

19 И пищу, которую Я тебе давал, хлеб из отборной муки, и масло, и мед, которыми Я питал тебя, ты приносила им как благоухание отрадное, вот что было! — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА. —

20 Сыновей своих и дочерей, которых ты родила Мне, приносила ты им на съедение, в жертву. Мало тебе было твоего блуда,

21 так ты еще и детей Моих убивала, принося их в жертву этим идолам!

22 И во всех своих мерзостях, в этом разврате не вспоминала ты о заре своей жизни, когда была ты нага и не было на тебе одежд, когда трепетала ты окровавленная, брошенная всеми“.

23 „За все твои злодеяния грядет на тебя беда, беда грядет! — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА. —

24 Ты понастроила себе капища и блудилища на всех площадях.

25 У каждого перекрестка ты соорудила блудилища и опозорила там свою красоту, отдаваясь всякому встречному, раскинув ноги, развратничая без меры!

26 Ты блудила с соседями твоими египтянами, похоть которых огромна, и без меры предавалась разврату, чтобы вызывать Мою ярость.

27 Потому Я занес над тобой руку, урезал отведенный тебе надел, отдал тебя во власть врагов твоих, дочерей филистимских, но твои бесстыдные поступки даже их изумили.

28 Ты блудила с ассирийцами ненасытно, блудила с ними и не могла насытиться.

29 Блудила без меры со страной торговцев, Халдеей, но и этим не могла насытиться.

30 Как необузданно твое вожделение, — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА, — если вытворяла ты такое, бесстыжая блудница!

31 На всех перекрестках устроила капища и блудилища — на всех площадях. И была ты хуже блудницы, ведь ты даже отказывалась от платы,

32 ты — неверная жена, изменяющая мужу с чужими!

33 Всем блудницам платят, а ты сама приплачивала любовникам своим, подкупала их, чтобы отовсюду приходили они к тебе развратничать.

34 Разврат твой еще хуже, чем у женщин такого рода: никто не домогался тебя как блудницы, наоборот — не тебе платили, а ты сама подарки раздавала!“

35 Так выслушай, блудница, слово ГОСПОДНЕ!

36 Так говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ: „За то, что ты бесстыдно предавалась разврату, обнажалась перед любовниками и мерзкими идолами своими, за кровь детей своих, которых ты им отдавала, —

37 за это Я соберу всех любовников твоих, с которыми ты тешилась, и всех, кого любила, вместе с теми, кого ненавидела, отовсюду соберу их против тебя и обнажу твой срам перед ними, и они увидят твою наготу.

38 Буду судить тебя, как судят за измену и пролитие крови, в ярости Моей и негодовании осужу тебя на кровавую смерть.

39 Я отдам тебя любовникам твоим, и они разорят все твои капища, разрушат блудилища, сорвут с тебя одежды, отберут украшения, оставят тебя нагой — и не будет на тебе одежд.

40 Соберут против тебя толпу, забросают тебя камнями, изрубят мечами.

41 Сожгут огнем твои дома, свершат над тобой суд перед многими женщинами — так Я положу конец твоему разврату, и подарки раздавать ты впредь уже не станешь.

42 Только так утихнет ярость Моя против тебя и прекратится Мое негодование — Я успокоюсь и уже не буду гневаться.

43 За то, что не помнила ты о заре своей жизни и Меня гневила всем этим, все поступки твои обрушу на твою же голову, — говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ. — Разве не предавалась ты разврату помимо всех мерзостей твоих?“

44 „Всякий, кто говорит пословицами, будет говорить о тебе: „Какова мать, такова и дочь“.

45 Ты действительно дочь своей матери, которая бросила мужа и детей, и сестра своих сестер, которые бросили мужей и детей. Ваша мать — хеттка, а отец — аморей.

46 Твоя старшая сестра — Самария, она вместе со своими дочерьми жила к северу от тебя, а твоя младшая сестра — Содом — со своими дочерьми жила к югу от тебя.

47 Не по их ли обычаям ты поступала? Не такие же, как у них, мерзости вытворяла? Но очень скоро во всех делах твоих ты превзошла их, при всей их испорченности. —

48 Жив Я, — клятвенно заверяет Владыка ГОСПОДЬ, — ни Содом, сестра твоя, ни дочери ее не творили такого, что ты творила и твои дочери.

49 Вот каковы были пороки твоей сестры Содома: высокомерие, пресыщенность и праздность; не поддерживали они ни бедняка, ни нищего.

50 Возгордились они, творили мерзости передо Мною, и потому, глядя на это, Я отверг их.

51 А Самария и половины твоих грехов не совершила. Ты превзошла своих сестер своими мерзостями; по сравнению с теми мерзостями, которые ты совершила, они — просто праведницы.

52 Так неси теперь свой позор, столица, ты, которая осуждала сестер своих! Твои грехи еще отвратительнее, чем их грехи, они праведнее, чем ты. Стыдись, неси свой позор: ты сама сделала так, что сестры твои кажутся праведнее тебя!“

53 „Но Я верну Содому всё утраченное им и дочерьми его и всё утраченное Самарией и ее дочерьми и вместе с ними возвращу всё утраченное тобой,

54 чтобы несла ты свой позор и стыдилась всего, что ты совершила, и это будет для них утешением.

55 Сестры твои Содом и Самария и дочери их вернутся к прежней жизни, и ты с дочерьми своими вернешься к прежней жизни.

56 Разве не говорила ты с презрением о сестре своей Содоме во дни величия своего,

57 пока не открылось это зло, беззаконие твое? А теперь над тобой глумятся повсюду, и сирийки с их соседками, и филистимлянки — все вокруг поносят тебя.

58 За разврат твой и мерзости твои ты терпишь всё это“, — это слово ГОСПОДА.

59 Так говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ: „Я с тобой поступлю так, как ты того заслужила за свои поступки! Ты преступила клятву, нарушила Союз, Завет,

60 но Я помню Союз, Мной заключенный с тобой на заре твоей жизни, и восстановлю его, и он будет вечным.

61 И ты будешь помнить свои пути зла и будешь стыдиться, когда примешь сестер своих, старших и младших. Я отдам тебе их в дочери, хотя это и не предусмотрено Союзом с тобою.

62 Я восстановлю Союз с тобою, и узнаешь, что Я — ГОСПОДЬ,

63 чтобы помнила ты о нем и стыдилась и чтобы не могла рта своего раскрыть от позора, когда Я прощу тебе всё то, что ты совершила“, — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА».

9 Омыл Я тебя водою, смыл кровь и умастил оливковым маслом,

10 одел в нарядные одежды, обул тебя в обувь из кожи тонкой выделки, в чистый лен тебя облек, накинул покрывало из лучшей ткани.

11 Я одарил тебя драгоценностями, на запястья надел тебе браслеты, а на шею — ожерелье,

12 украсил Я кольцом тебе нос и серьгами — уши, прекрасный венец возложил на голову.

13 Так была ты наряжена в золото и серебро, одета в чистый лен и разноцветные ткани, ела хлеб из отборной муки с медом и оливковым маслом. Стала ты прекрасна, царского величия достойна!

14 Молва о твоей красе разошлась средь народов, такой она была совершенной, потому что Я одарил тебя великолепием Своим“, — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА.

15 „Но ты положилась на собственную красоту, воспользовавшись славой своей, ты предалась блуду, бесстыдно отдаваясь всякому встречному.

16 Ты взяла свои наряды, разукрасила холмы, где вы идолам поклоняетесь, и предавалась там неслыханному разврату.

17 Взяла ты и украшения из Моего золота и серебра, те самые, которыми Я тебя одарил, сделала из них идолов и блудила с ними,

18 рядила их в свои разноцветные одежды и подносила им оливковое масло и благовония, предназначавшиеся Мне.

19 И пищу, которую Я тебе давал, хлеб из отборной муки, и масло, и мед, которыми Я питал тебя, ты приносила им как благоухание отрадное, вот что было! — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА. —

20 Сыновей своих и дочерей, которых ты родила Мне, приносила ты им на съедение, в жертву. Мало тебе было твоего блуда,

21 так ты еще и детей Моих убивала, принося их в жертву этим идолам!

22 И во всех своих мерзостях, в этом разврате не вспоминала ты о заре своей жизни, когда была ты нага и не было на тебе одежд, когда трепетала ты окровавленная, брошенная всеми“.

25 У каждого перекрестка ты соорудила блудилища и опозорила там свою красоту, отдаваясь всякому встречному, раскинув ноги, развратничая без меры!

26 Ты блудила с соседями твоими египтянами, похоть которых огромна, и без меры предавалась разврату, чтобы вызывать Мою ярость.

27 Потому Я занес над тобой руку, урезал отведенный тебе надел, отдал тебя во власть врагов твоих, дочерей филистимских, но твои бесстыдные поступки даже их изумили.

31 На всех перекрестках устроила капища и блудилища — на всех площадях. И была ты хуже блудницы, ведь ты даже отказывалась от платы,

32 ты — неверная жена, изменяющая мужу с чужими!

35 Так выслушай, блудница, слово ГОСПОДНЕ!

37 за это Я соберу всех любовников твоих, с которыми ты тешилась, и всех, кого любила, вместе с теми, кого ненавидела, отовсюду соберу их против тебя и обнажу твой срам перед ними, и они увидят твою наготу.

38 Буду судить тебя, как судят за измену и пролитие крови, в ярости Моей и негодовании осужу тебя на кровавую смерть.

39 Я отдам тебя любовникам твоим, и они разорят все твои капища, разрушат блудилища, сорвут с тебя одежды, отберут украшения, оставят тебя нагой — и не будет на тебе одежд.

40 Соберут против тебя толпу, забросают тебя камнями, изрубят мечами.

41 Сожгут огнем твои дома, свершат над тобой суд перед многими женщинами — так Я положу конец твоему разврату, и подарки раздавать ты впредь уже не станешь.

42 Только так утихнет ярость Моя против тебя и прекратится Мое негодование — Я успокоюсь и уже не буду гневаться.

43 За то, что не помнила ты о заре своей жизни и Меня гневила всем этим, все поступки твои обрушу на твою же голову, — говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ. — Разве не предавалась ты разврату помимо всех мерзостей твоих?“

44 „Всякий, кто говорит пословицами, будет говорить о тебе: „Какова мать, такова и дочь“.

45 Ты действительно дочь своей матери, которая бросила мужа и детей, и сестра своих сестер, которые бросили мужей и детей. Ваша мать — хеттка, а отец — аморей.

48 Жив Я, — клятвенно заверяет Владыка ГОСПОДЬ, — ни Содом, сестра твоя, ни дочери ее не творили такого, что ты творила и твои дочери.

49 Вот каковы были пороки твоей сестры Содома: высокомерие, пресыщенность и праздность; не поддерживали они ни бедняка, ни нищего.

50 Возгордились они, творили мерзости передо Мною, и потому, глядя на это, Я отверг их.

51 А Самария и половины твоих грехов не совершила. Ты превзошла своих сестер своими мерзостями; по сравнению с теми мерзостями, которые ты совершила, они — просто праведницы.

52 Так неси теперь свой позор, столица, ты, которая осуждала сестер своих! Твои грехи еще отвратительнее, чем их грехи, они праведнее, чем ты. Стыдись, неси свой позор: ты сама сделала так, что сестры твои кажутся праведнее тебя!“

53 When I shall bring7725 again7725 their captivity,7622 the captivity7622 of Sodom5467 and her daughters,1323 and the captivity7622 of Samaria8111 and her daughters,1323 then will I bring again the captivity7622 of your captives7628 in the middle8432 of them:

53 „Но Я верну Содому всё утраченное им и дочерьми его и всё утраченное Самарией и ее дочерьми и вместе с ними возвращу всё утраченное тобой,

54 That you may bear5375 your own shame,3639 and may be confounded3637 in all3605 that you have done,6213 in that you are a comfort5162 to them.

54 чтобы несла ты свой позор и стыдилась всего, что ты совершила, и это будет для них утешением.

55 Сестры твои Содом и Самария и дочери их вернутся к прежней жизни, и ты с дочерьми своими вернешься к прежней жизни.

56 Разве не говорила ты с презрением о сестре своей Содоме во дни величия своего,

59 Так говорит Владыка ГОСПОДЬ: „Я с тобой поступлю так, как ты того заслужила за свои поступки! Ты преступила клятву, нарушила Союз, Завет,

60 Nevertheless I will remember2142 my covenant1285 with you in the days3117 of your youth,5271 and I will establish6965 to you an everlasting5769 covenant.1285

60 но Я помню Союз, Мной заключенный с тобой на заре твоей жизни, и восстановлю его, и он будет вечным.

61 Then you shall remember2142 your ways,1870 and be ashamed,3637 when you shall receive3947 your sisters,269 your elder1419 and your younger:6996 and I will give5414 them to you for daughters,1323 but not by your covenant.1285

61 И ты будешь помнить свои пути зла и будешь стыдиться, когда примешь сестер своих, старших и младших. Я отдам тебе их в дочери, хотя это и не предусмотрено Союзом с тобою.

63 чтобы помнила ты о нем и стыдилась и чтобы не могла рта своего раскрыть от позора, когда Я прощу тебе всё то, что ты совершила“, — это слово Владыки ГОСПОДА».
