2 And when the LORD3068 your God430 shall deliver5414 them before6440 you; you shall smite5221 them, and utterly destroy2763 them; you shall make3772 no3808 covenant1285 with them, nor3808 show mercy2603 to them:

3 Neither3808 shall you make marriages2859 with them; your daughter1323 you shall not give5414 to his son,1121 nor3808 his daughter1323 shall you take3947 to your son.1121

16 And you shall consume398 all3605 the people5971 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 shall deliver5414 you; your eye5869 shall have no3808 pity2347 on them: neither3808 shall you serve5647 their gods;430 for that will be a snare4170 to you.

17 If3588 you shall say559 in your heart,3824 These428 nations1471 are more7227 than I; how349 can3201 I dispossess3423 them?

18 You shall not be afraid3372 of them: but shall well remember2142 what853 834 the LORD3068 your God430 did6213 to Pharaoh,6547 and to all3605 Egypt;4714

19 The great1419 temptations4531 which834 your eyes5869 saw,7200 and the signs,226 and the wonders,4159 and the mighty2389 hand,3027 and the stretched5186 out arm,2220 whereby834 the LORD3068 your God430 brought3318 you out: so3651 shall the LORD3068 your God430 do6213 to all3605 the people5971 of whom834 6440 you are afraid.3373

20 Moreover1571 the LORD3068 your God430 will send7971 the hornet6880 among them, until5704 they that are left,7604 and hide5641 themselves from you, be destroyed.6

21 You shall not be affrighted6206 at6440 them: for the LORD3068 your God430 is among7130 you, a mighty1419 God410 and terrible.3372

22 And the LORD3068 your God430 will put5394 out those411 nations1471 before6440 you by little4592 and little:4592 you may3201 not consume3615 them at4118 once,4118 lest6435 the beasts2416 of the field7704 increase7235 on you.

23 But the LORD3068 your God430 shall deliver5414 them to you, and shall destroy2000 them with a mighty1419 destruction,4103 until5704 they be destroyed.8045

24 And he shall deliver5414 their kings4428 into your hand,3027 and you shall destroy6 their name8034 from under8478 heaven:8064 there shall no3808 man375 be able3320 to stand3320 before6440 you, until5704 you have destroyed8045 them.

2 And when the LORD your God shall deliver them before you, and you shall defeat them; then you shall utterly destroy them; you shall make no covenant with them, nor show mercy to them;

3 Neither shall you make marriages with them; you shall not give your daughters to their sons, nor take their daughters for your sons,

4 That they may not turn away your sons from following me, and serve other gods; and then the anger of the LORD would kindle against you and destroy you quickly.

5 But thus shall you deal with them: you shall destroy their altars and break down their statues and cut down their ornaments and burn their graven images with fire.

6 For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a beloved people to himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

7 It was not because you were more in number than any other peoples that the LORD was delighted in you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples;

8 But it was because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oaths which he had sworn to your fathers, that the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and delivered you out of the house of bondage from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt,

9 That you may know therefore that the LORD your God, he is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and mercy with those that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations,

10 And repays those that hate him during their lifetime; he requites them that he may destroy them; he shall not be slack to those that hate him, but he repays them during their lifetime.

11 You shall therefore keep the commandments and the statutes and the judgments which I command you this day, and do them.

12 Wherefore if you hearken to these judgments, and keep them and do them, the LORD your God shall keep with you the covenant and the mercy which he swore to your fathers;

17 If you shall say in your heart, These nations are greater than I; how will I be able to destroy them?

18 You shall not be afraid of them; but you shall remember what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt;

19 The great trials which your eyes saw, the signs, the wonders, the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm, whereby the LORD your God brought you out; so shall the LORD your God do to all the peoples of whom you are afraid.

20 Moreover the LORD your God will send raiders among them, until they that are left and hide themselves from you, are destroyed.

21 You shall not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God is among you, a great and terrible God.

22 And the LORD your God will destroy those nations from before you little by little; you will not be able to destroy them quickly, lest the wild beasts increase upon you.

23 But the LORD your God shall deliver them to you, and shall smite them with a great destruction, until they are destroyed.

24 And he shall deliver their kings into your hands, and you shall destroy their name from under heaven; there shall no man be able to stand before you, until you have destroyed them.
