1 Und da sich das8085 Volk5971 ungeduldig machte596, gefiel es übel vor den Ohren241 des HErrn3068. Und als es der HErr3068 hörete, ergrimmete sein398 Zorn639 und zündete1197 das Feuer784 des HErrn3068 unter ihnen an, das verzehrete die äußersten7097 Lager4264.

2 And the people5971 cried6817 to Moses;4872 and when Moses4872 prayed6419 to the LORD,3068 the fire784 was quenched.8257

2 Da schrie6817 das Volk5971 zu Mose4872; und Mose4872 bat6419 den HErrn3068, da verschwand8257 das Feuer784.

3 And he called7121 the name8034 of the place4725 Taberah:8404 because3588 the fire784 of the LORD3068 burnt1197 among them.

3 Und man hieß7121 die8034 Stätte4725 Tabeera, darum daß sich unter ihnen des HErrn3068 Feuer784 angezündet hatte1197.

4 And the mixed multitude628 that was among7130 them fell a lusting:8378 and the children1121 of Israel3478 also1571 wept1058 again,7725 and said,559 Who4310 shall give us flesh1320 to eat?398

4 Denn das Pöbelvolk628 unter7130 ihnen war lüstern183 worden und saßen und weineten samt den Kindern1121 Israel3478 und sprachen559: Wer will7725 uns Fleisch1320 zu essen398 geben?

5 We remember2142 the fish,1710 which834 we did eat398 in Egypt4714 freely;2600 the cucumbers,7180 and the melons,20 and the leeks,2682 and the onions,1211 and the garlic:7762

5 Wir gedenken2142 der Fische1710, die wir in Ägypten4714 umsonst2600 aßen398, und der Kürbisse7180, Pfeben, Lauch, Zwiebeln1211 und Knoblauch.

6 But now6258 our soul5315 is dried3001 away: there is nothing369 3605 at all,3605 beside1115 this2088 manna,4478 before our eyes.5869

6 Nun aber ist unsere See LE5315 matt3002; denn unsere Augen5869 sehen nichts1115 denn das Man4478.

7 And the manna4478 was as coriander1407 seed,2233 and the color5869 thereof as the color5869 of bdellium.916

8 And the people5971 went7751 about,7751 and gathered3950 it, and ground2912 it in mills,7347 or176 beat1743 it in a mortar,4085 and baked1310 it in pans,6517 and made6213 cakes5692 of it: and the taste2940 of it was as the taste2940 of fresh3955 oil.8081

9 Und wenn des Nachts3915 der Tau2919 über die Lager4264 fiel3381, so fiel3381 das Man4478 mit drauf.

10 Then Moses4872 heard8085 the people5971 weep1058 throughout their families,4940 every man376 in the door6607 of his tent:168 and the anger639 of the LORD3068 was kindled2734 greatly;3966 Moses4872 also was displeased.5869

10 Da nun Mose4872 das8085 Volk5971 hörete weinen1058 unter ihren Geschlechtern4940, einen jeglichen376 in seiner Hütte168 Tür6607, da ergrimmete der Zorn639 des HErrn3068 sehr3966, und5869 Mose4872 ward2734 auch bange7489.

11 And Moses4872 said559 to the LORD,3068 Why4100 have you afflicted7489 your servant?5650 and why4100 have I not found4672 favor2580 in your sight,5869 that you lay7760 the burden4853 of all3605 this2088 people5971 on me?

11 Und7760 Mose4872 sprach559 zu dem HErrn3068: Warum bekümmerst du7489 deinen Knecht5650, und warum finde4672 ich nicht Gnade2580 vor deinen Augen5869, daß du die Last4853 dieses ganzen Volks5971 auf mich legest?

12 Have I conceived2029 all3605 this2088 people?5971 have I begotten3205 them, that you should say559 to me, Carry5375 them in your bosom,2436 as a nursing539 father bears5375 the sucking3243 child, to the land127 which834 you swore7650 to their fathers?1

12 Hab ich nun alles Volk5971 empfangen2029 oder geboren3205, daß du zu mir sagen559 magst: Trag5375 es in deinen Armen2436 (wie eine Amme539 ein Kind3243 trägt5375) in das Land127, das du ihren Vätern1 geschworen7650 hast?

13 From where370 should I have flesh1320 to give5414 to all3605 this2088 people?5971 for they weep1058 to me, saying,559 Give5414 us flesh,1320 that we may eat.398
|
13 Woher370 soll ich Fleisch1320 nehmen, daß ich all diesem Volk5971 gebe5414? Sie559 weinen1058 vor mir und sprechen: Gib5414 uns Fleisch1320, daß wir essen398!
|
|
14 I am not able3201 to bear5375 all3605 this2088 people5971 alone,905 because3588 it is too heavy3515 for me.
|
14 Ich vermag3201 das Volk5971 nicht allein905 alles ertragen5375, denn es ist mir zu schwer3515.
|
|
15 And if518 you deal6213 thus3602 with me, kill2026 me, I pray4994 you, out of hand,2026 if518 I have found4672 favor2580 in your sight;5869 and let me not see7200 my wretchedness.7451
|
15 Und willst du also mit mir tun, erwürge2026 mich2026 lieber, habe6213 ich anders Gnade2580 vor deinen Augen5869 funden, daß ich nicht7451 mein Unglück so sehen7200 müsse.

16 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 Gather622 to me seventy7657 men376 of the elders2205 of Israel,3478 whom834 you know3045 to be the elders2205 of the people,5971 and officers7860 over them; and bring3947 them to the tabernacle168 of the congregation,4150 that they may stand3320 there8033 with you.

16 Und376 der HErr3068 sprach559 zu Mose4872: Sammle622 mir siebenzig Männer unter den Ältesten2205 Israels3478, die du weißt3045, daß die Ältesten2205 im Volk5971 und seine Amtleute7860 sind, und nimm3947 sie vor die Hütte168 des Stifts4150 und stelle3320 sie daselbst vor dich,

17 And I will come3381 down3381 and talk1696 with you there:8033 and I will take680 of the spirit7307 which834 is on you, and will put7760 it on them; and they shall bear5375 the burden4853 of the people5971 with you, that you bear5375 it not yourself alone.905

17 so will ich herniederkommen3381 und mit dir daselbst reden1696 und deines Geistes, der auf5375 dir ist7760, nehmen680 und auf5375 sie legen, daß sie mit dir die Last4853 des Volks5971 tragen, daß du nicht7307 allein tragest.

18 And say559 you to the people,5971 Sanctify6942 yourselves against to morrow,4279 and you shall eat398 flesh:1320 for you have wept1058 in the ears241 of the LORD,3068 saying,559 Who4310 shall give us flesh1320 to eat?398 for it was well2895 with us in Egypt:4714 therefore the LORD3068 will give5414 you flesh,1320 and you shall eat.398

18 Und zum Volk5971 sollst du559 sagen559: Heiliget euch6942 auf morgen4279, daß ihr Fleisch1320 esset398! Denn euer Weinen1058 ist vor die Ohren241 des HErrn3068 kommen, die ihr sprecht: Wer gibt uns Fleisch1320 zu essen398, denn es ging uns wohl2895 in Ägypten4714? Darum wird euch der HErr3068 Fleisch1320 geben5414, daß ihr esset398,

19 You shall not eat398 one259 day,3117 nor3808 two days,3117 nor3808 five2568 days,3117 neither3808 ten6235 days,3117 nor3808 twenty6242 days;3117

19 nicht einen259 Tag3117, nicht zween, nicht fünf2568, nicht zehn6235, nicht zwanzig6242 Tage3117 lang3117,

20 But even5704 a whole3117 month,2320 until5704 it come3318 out at your nostrils,639 and it be loathsome2214 to you: because3282 that you have despised3988 the LORD3068 which834 is among7130 you, and have wept1058 before6440 him, saying,559 Why4100 came3318 we forth3318 out of Egypt?4714

20 sondern einen Monden lang3117, bis daß es euch zur Nase639 ausgehe3318, und euch ein Ekel2214 sei, darum3282 daß ihr den HErrn3068 verworfen3988 habt, der unter7130 euch ist, und vor6440 ihm geweinet und gesagt559: Warum sind wir aus3318 Ägypten4714 gegangen?

21 And Moses4872 said,559 The people,5971 among7130 whom834 I am, are six8337 hundred3967 thousand505 footmen;7273 and you have said,559 I will give5414 them flesh,1320 that they may eat398 a whole3117 month.2320

21 Und3967 Mose4872 sprach559: Sechshunderttausend8337 Mann Fußvolks ist des, darunter7130 ich bin, und du559 sprichst: Ich will euch Fleisch1320 geben5414, daß ihr esset398 einen Monden2320 lang3117.

22 Shall the flocks6629 and the herds1241 be slain7819 for them, to suffice4672 them? or shall all3605 the fish1709 of the sea3220 be gathered622 together for them, to suffice4672 them?

22 Soll man4672 Schafe6629 und Rinder1241 schlachten7819, daß ihnen genug sei4672? Oder werden sich alle Fische1709 des Meeres3220 herzu versammeln622, daß ihnen genug sei?

23 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 Is the LORD's3068 hand3027 waxed short?7114 you shall see7200 now6258 whether my word1697 shall come7136 to pass to you or not.

23 Der HErr3068 aber sprach559 zu Mose4872: Ist denn die Hand3027 des HErrn3068 verkürzt7114? Aber du sollst jetzt sehen7200, ob meine Worte1697 dir können7136 etwas gelten, oder nicht.
|
|
24 And Moses4872 went3318 out, and told1696 the people5971 the words1697 of the LORD,3068 and gathered622 the seventy7657 men376 of the elders2205 of the people,5971 and set5975 them round5439 about the tabernacle.168
|
24 Und376 Mose4872 ging3318 heraus und5975 sagte1696 dem Volk5971 des HErrn3068 Wort1697 und versammelte622 die siebenzig Männer unter den Ältesten2205 des Volks5971 und stellete sie um die Hütte168 her5439.

|
25 And the LORD3068 came3381 down3381 in a cloud,6051 and spoke1696 to him, and took680 of the spirit7307 that was on him, and gave5414 it to the seventy7657 elders:2205 and it came1961 to pass, that, when the spirit7307 rested5117 on them, they prophesied,5012 and did not cease.3254

25 Da kam der HErr3068 hernieder in der Wolke6051 und376 redete1696 mit ihm und nahm3381 des Geistes, der auf5117 ihm war, und legte5414 ihn auf3254 die siebenzig ältesten Männer. Und da der Geist7307 auf ihnen ruhete, weissagten5012 sie und höreten nicht7307 auf.

26 But there remained7604 two8147 of the men582 in the camp,4264 the name8034 of the one259 was Eldad,419 and the name8034 of the other8145 Medad:4312 and the spirit7307 rested5117 on them; and they were of them that were written,3789 but went3318 not out to the tabernacle:168 and they prophesied5012 in the camp.4264

26 Es8034 waren aber noch zween Männer582 im Lager4264 geblieben7604, der eine259 hieß8034 Eldad419, der andere8145 Medad4312, und der Geist7307 ruhete auf5117 ihnen8147; denn sie waren auch angeschrieben3789 und doch nicht hinausgegangen3318 zu der Hütte168, und sie weissagten5012 im Lager4264.

27 And there ran7323 a young5288 man, and told5046 Moses,4872 and said,559 Eldad419 and Medad4312 do prophesy5012 in the camp.4264
|
27 Da lief7323 ein Knabe5288 hin und sagte5046 es Mose4872 an und sprach559: Eldad419 und Medad4312 weissagen5012 im Lager4264.
|
|
28 And Joshua3091 the son1121 of Nun,5126 the servant8334 of Moses,4872 one of his young979 men, answered6030 and said,559 My lord113 Moses,4872 forbid3607 them.

28 Da antwortete6030 Josua3091, der Sohn1121 Nuns5126 Moses4872 Diener8334, den er erwählet hatte und sprach559: Mein Herr113 Mose4872, wehre3607 ihnen
|

29 And Moses4872 said559 to him, Envy7065 you for my sake? would4310 5414 God that all3605 the LORD's3068 people5971 were prophets,5030 and that the LORD3068 would4310 5414 put5414 his spirit7307 on them!
|
29 Aber Mose4872 sprach559 zu ihm: Bist du der Eiferer7065 für mich? Wollte5414 GOtt, daß alle das Volk5971 des HErrn3068 weissagete, und5030 der HErr3068 seinen Geist7307 über sie gäbe5414!
|
|
30 And Moses4872 got622 him into413 the camp,4264 he and the elders2205 of Israel.3478
|
30 Also sammelte622 sich Mose4872 zum Lager4264 und die Ältesten2205 Israels3478.
|
|
31 And there went5265 forth5265 a wind7307 from the LORD,3068 and brought1468 quails7958 from the sea,3220 and let them fall5203 by the camp,4264 as it were a day's3117 journey1870 on this3541 side,3541 and as it were a day's3117 journey1870 on the other3541 side,3541 round5439 about the camp,4264 and as it were two cubits520 high on the face6440 of the earth.776

31 Da fuhr aus der Wind7307 von6440 dem1870 HErrn3068 und ließ1468 Wachteln7958 kommen vom Meer3220 und streuete sie5265 über das3541 Lager4264, hie eine Tagreise lang3117, da eine Tagreise lang3117 um5439 das3541 Lager4264 her1870, zwo Ellen520 hoch über der Erde776.

32 And the people5971 stood6965 up all3605 that day,3117 and all3605 that night,3915 and all3605 the next4283 day,3117 and they gathered622 the quails:7958 he that gathered least4591 gathered622 ten6235 homers:2563 and they spread7849 them all3605 abroad7849 for themselves1992 round5439 about the camp.4264

32 Da machte sich das Volk5971 auf6965 denselben ganzen Tag3117 und die ganze Nacht3915 und den andern4283 ganzen Tag3117 und sammelten622 Wachteln7958, und welcher am wenigsten sammelte4591, der sammelte622 zehn6235 Homer2563, und hängete sie auf um das Lager4264 her5439.

33 And while the flesh1320 was yet5750 between996 their teeth,8127 ere2962 it was chewed,3772 the wrath639 of the LORD3068 was kindled2734 against the people,5971 and the LORD3068 smote5221 the people5971 with a very3966 great7227 plague.4347

33 Da aber2734 das3772 Fleisch1320 noch unter ihren Zähnen8127 war, und3068 ehe2962 es auf war, da ergrimmete der Zorn639 des HErrn3068 unter dem Volk5971 und schlug5221 sie5971 mit einer sehr3966 großen7227 Plage4347.

34 And he called7121 the name8034 of that place4725 Kibrothhattaavah:6914 because3588 there8033 they buried6912 the people5971 that lusted.183

34 Daher dieselbige Stätte4725 heißt7121 Lustgräber6914, darum daß man daselbst begrub6912 das lüsterne183 Volk5971.
|
|
35 And the people5971 journeyed5265 from Kibrothhattaavah6914 to Hazeroth;2698 and stayed1961 at Hazeroth.2698

35 Von den Lustgräbern6914 aber zog5265 das Volk5971 aus gen Hazeroth2698, und blieben zu Hazeroth2698.
