3 Ihr habt eure Brüder251 nicht verlassen5800 eine lange7227 Zeit3117 her bis auf diesen Tag3117; und habt gehalten8104 an dem Gebot4931 des HErrn3068 eures Gottes430.

4 And now6258 the LORD3068 your God430 has given rest5117 to your brothers,251 as he promised1696 them: therefore now6258 return6437 you, and get3212 you to your tents,168 and to the land776 of your possession,272 which834 Moses4872 the servant5650 of the LORD3068 gave5414 you on the other5676 side5676 Jordan.3383

4 Weil nun der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, hat1696 eure Brüder251 zur Ruhe5117 gebracht; wie er ihnen geredet hat272, so wendet euch6437 nun und ziehet hin3212 in eure Hütten168 im Lande eures Erbes, das776 euch Mose4872 der Knecht5650 des HErrn3068, gegeben5414 hat jenseit5676 des Jordans3383.

5 But take diligent3966 heed8104 to do6213 the commandment4687 and the law,8451 which834 Moses4872 the servant5650 of the LORD3068 charged6680 you, to love157 the LORD3068 your God,430 and to walk3212 in all3605 his ways,1870 and to keep8104 his commandments,4687 and to hold1692 to him, and to serve5647 him with all3605 your heart3824 and with all3605 your soul.5315

5 Haltet8104 aber nun an mit Fleiß3966, daß ihr tut6213 nach dem Gebot4687 und Gesetz8451, das euch Mose4872, der Knecht5650 des HErrn3068, geboten6680 hat157, daß ihr den HErrn3068, euren GOtt430, liebet und wandelt3212 auf allen1870 seinen Wegen und seine Gebote4687 haltet8104 und ihm anhanget1692 und ihm dienet5647 von ganzem Herzen3824 und von ganzer See LE5315.

9 And the children1121 of Reuben7205 and the children1121 of Gad1410 and the half2677 tribe7626 of Manasseh4519 returned,7725 and departed3212 from the children1121 of Israel3478 out of Shiloh,7887 which834 is in the land776 of Canaan,3667 to go3212 to the country776 of Gilead,1568 to the land776 of their possession,272 whereof834 they were possessed,270 according5921 to the word6310 of the LORD3068 by the hand3027 of Moses.4872

9 Also kehreten um7725 die Rubeniter7205, Gaditer1410 und1121 der halbe2677 Stamm7626 Manasse4519 und1121 gingen3212 von3027 den Kindern1121 Israel3478 aus Silo7887, die im Lande776 Kanaan3667 liegt, daß sie270 ins Land776 Gilead1568 zögen3212, zum Lande ihres Erbes272, das776 sie erbeten aus Befehl6310 des HErrn3068 durch Mose4872.

10 And when they came935 to the borders1552 of Jordan,3383 that are in the land776 of Canaan,3667 the children1121 of Reuben7205 and the children1121 of Gad1410 and the half2677 tribe7626 of Manasseh4519 built1129 there8033 an altar4196 by Jordan,3383 a great1419 altar4196 to see4758 to.

10 Und1121 da sie1129 kamen935 an die Haufen am Jordan3383, die im Lande776 Kanaan3667 liegen, baueten dieselben Rubeniter7205, Gaditer1410 und1121 der halbe2677 Stamm7626 Manasse4519 daselbst am Jordan3383 einen4196 großen1419, schönen4758 Altar4196.

11 And the children1121 of Israel3478 heard8085 say,559 Behold,2009 the children1121 of Reuben7205 and the children1121 of Gad1410 and the half2677 tribe7626 of Manasseh4519 have built1129 an altar4196 over413 4136 against4136 the land776 of Canaan,3667 in the borders1552 of Jordan,3383 at413 the passage5676 of the children1121 of Israel.3478

11 Da aber die Kinder1121 Israel3478 höreten sagen559: Siehe, die Kinder1121 Ruben7205, die Kinder1121 Gad1410 und1129 der halbe2677 Stamm7626 Manasse4519 haben8085 einen Altar4196 gebauet gegen5676 das Land776 Kanaan3667, an den Haufen am Jordan3383, diesseit der Kinder1121 Israel3478,

12 And when the children1121 of Israel3478 heard8085 of it, the whole3605 congregation5712 of the children1121 of Israel3478 gathered6950 themselves together at Shiloh,7887 to go5927 up to war6635 against5921 them.

13 And the children1121 of Israel3478 sent7971 to the children1121 of Reuben,7205 and to the children1121 of Gad,1410 and to the half2677 tribe7626 of Manasseh,4519 into413 the land776 of Gilead,1568 Phinehas6372 the son1121 of Eleazar499 the priest,3548

13 Und3478 sandten zu ihnen1121 ins Land776 Gilead1568 Pinehas6372, den Sohn1121 Eleasars499, des7971 Priesters3548,

14 And with him ten6235 princes,5387 of each259 chief1 house1004 a prince5387 throughout all3605 the tribes4294 of Israel;3478 and each one376 was an head7218 of the house1004 of their fathers1 among the thousands505 of Israel.3478

14 und376 mit ihm1 zehn6235 oberste Fürsten5387 unter den7218 Häusern1004 ihrer Väter1, aus jeglichem Stamm4294 Israels3478 einen259.

15 And they came935 to the children1121 of Reuben,7205 and to the children1121 of Gad,1410 and to the half2677 tribe7626 of Manasseh,4519 to the land776 of Gilead,1568 and they spoke1696 with them, saying,559

16 Thus3541 said559 the whole3605 congregation5712 of the LORD,3068 What4100 trespass4604 is this2088 that you have committed4603 against the God430 of Israel,3478 to turn7725 away this day3117 from following310 the LORD,3068 in that you have built1129 you an altar,4196 that you might rebel4775 this day3117 against the LORD?3068

16 So läßt euch4603 sagen559 die ganze Gemeine des HErrn3068: Wie versündiget ihr euch7725 also an3117 dem GOtt430 Israels3478, daß ihr euch310 heute3117 kehret von dem HErrn3068 damit, daß ihr euch einen Altar4196 bauet1129, daß ihr abfallet von dem HErrn3068?

17 Is the iniquity5771 of Peor6465 too little4592 for us, from which834 we are not cleansed2891 until5704 this2088 day,3117 although there was a plague5063 in the congregation5712 of the LORD,3068

17 Ist‘s2891 uns zu wenig4592 an der Missetat5771 Peors, von welcher wir noch auf diesen Tag3117 nicht gereiniget sind, und kam eine Plage5063 unter die Gemeine des HErrn3068,
|
|
18 But that you must turn7725 away this day3117 from following310 the LORD?3068 and it will be, seeing you rebel4775 to day3117 against the LORD,3068 that to morrow4279 he will be wroth7107 with the whole3605 congregation5712 of Israel.3478
|
18 und ihr7107 wendet7725 euch310 heute3117 von dem HErrn3068 weg und seid heute3117 abtrünnig4775 worden von dem HErrn3068, daß er heute oder morgen4279 über die ganze Gemeine Israel3478 erzürne?

|
19 Notwithstanding,389 if518 the land776 of your possession272 be unclean,2931 then pass5674 you over5674 to the land776 of the possession272 of the LORD,3068 wherein834 8033 the LORD's3068 tabernacle4908 dwells,7931 and take270 possession270 among8432 us: but rebel4775 not against the LORD,3068 nor408 rebel4775 against us, in building1129 you an altar4196 beside1107 the altar4196 of the LORD3068 our God.430

19 Dünket euch das Land776 eures Erbes272 unrein2931, so kommt270 herüber ins Land776, das der HErr3068 hat272, da die Wohnung4908 des HErrn3068 stehet, und erbet unter8432 uns1129; und werdet nicht408 abtrünnig4775 von dem HErrn3068 und von uns, daß ihr5674 euch einen Altar4196 bauet außer1107 dem Altar4196 des HErrn3068, unsers Gottes430.

20 Did not Achan5912 the son1121 of Zerah2226 commit4603 a trespass4604 in the accursed2764 thing, and wrath7110 fell1961 on5921 all3605 the congregation5712 of Israel?3478 and that man376 perished1478 not alone259 in his iniquity.5771

20 Versündigte4604 sich4603 nicht Achan5912, der259 Sohn1121 Serahs2226, am Verbanneten, und1961 der Zorn7110 kam über die ganze Gemeine Israel3478, und er376 ging1478 nicht allein unter über seiner Missetat5771?

21 Then the children1121 of Reuben7205 and the children1121 of Gad1410 and the half2677 tribe7626 of Manasseh4519 answered,6030 and said1696 to the heads7218 of the thousands505 of Israel,3478

21 Da antworteten6030 die Kinder1121 Ruben7205 und die Kinder1121 Gad1410 und der halbe2677 Stamm7626 Manasse4519 und sagten1696 zu den Häuptern7218 und Fürsten Israels3478:

22 The LORD3068 God410 of gods,430 the LORD3068 God410 of gods,430 he knows,3045 and Israel3478 he shall know;3045 if518 it be in rebellion,4777 or if518 in transgression4604 against the LORD,3068 (save3467 us not this2088 day,3117)

22 Der410 starke GOtt410, der HErr3068, der starke GOtt430, der HErr3068, weiß3045, so weiß3045 Israel3478 auch: fallen wir ab4777 oder sündigen4604 wider den HErrn3068, so helfe3467 er430 uns heute3117 nicht.

23 That we have built1129 us an altar4196 to turn7725 from following310 the LORD,3068 or if518 to offer5927 thereon5921 burnt5930 offering 4503or meat offering, or if518 to offer6213 peace8002 offerings2077 thereon,5921 let the LORD3068 himself require1245 it;

23 Und310 so wir darum den Altar4196 gebauet haben, daß wir uns1129 von dem HErrn3068 wenden7725 wollten, Brandopfer oder Speisopfer4503 drauf opfern6213, oder Dankopfer8002 drauf tun5927 dem HErrn3068, so fordere1245 er es5930.

24 And if518 we have not rather done6213 it for fear1674 of this2063 thing,1697 saying,559 In time4279 to come4279 your children1121 might speak559 to our children,1121 saying,559 What4100 have you to do with the LORD3068 God430 of Israel?3478

24 Und559 so wir‘s nicht vielmehr aus Sorge1674 des Dinges getan6213 haben1697 und sprachen559: Heute oder morgen4279 möchten eure Kinder1121 zu unsern Kindern1121 sagen559: Was gehet euch der HErr3068, der GOtt430 Israels3478, an?

25 For the LORD3068 has made5414 Jordan3383 a border1366 between996 us and you, you children1121 of Reuben7205 and children1121 of Gad;1410 you have no369 part2506 in the LORD:3068 so shall your children1121 make our children1121 cease7673 from fearing3372 the LORD.3068

25 Der HErr3068 hat den Jordan3383 zur Grenze1366 gesetzt5414 zwischen uns und1121 euch3372 Kindern1121 Ruben7205 und Gad1410; ihr habt kein Teil2506 am HErrn3068. Damit würden eure Kinder1121 unsere Kinder1121 von1115 der Furcht des HErrn3068 weisen7673.

26 Therefore we said,559 Let us now4994 prepare6213 to build1129 us an altar,4196 not for burnt5930 offering, nor3808 for sacrifice:2077

26 Darum sprachen559 wir: Laßt uns1129 einen Altar4196 bauen6213, nicht zum Opfer2077 noch zum Brandopfer5930,

27 But that it may be a witness5707 between996 us, and you, and our generations1755 after310 us, that we might do5647 the service5656 of the LORD3068 before6440 him with our burnt5930 offerings, and with our sacrifices,2077 and with our peace8002 offerings; that your children1121 may not say559 to our children1121 in time4279 to come,4279 You have no369 part2506 in the LORD.3068

27 sondern daß er ein Zeuge5707 sei zwischen uns und euch310 und unsern Nachkommen1755, daß wir dem HErrn3068 Dienst5656 tun mögen5647 vor6440 ihm mit unsern Brandopfern5930, Dankopfern2077 und andern Opfern, und eure Kinder1121 heute oder morgen4279 nicht sagen559 dürfen zu unsern Kindern1121: Ihr habt kein Teil2506 an dem HErrn3068.

28 Therefore said559 we, that it shall be, when3588 they should so say559 to us or to our generations1755 in time4279 to come,4279 that we may say559 again, Behold7200 the pattern8403 of the altar4196 of the LORD,3068 which834 our fathers1 made,6213 not for burnt5930 offerings, nor3808 for sacrifices;2077 but it is a witness5707 between996 us and you.

28 Wenn sie559 aber also zu6213 uns sagen559 würden oder zu unsern Nachkommen1755 heute oder morgen4279, so könnten sie sagen559: Sehet das Gleichnis8403 des Altars4196 des HErrn3068, den unsere Väter1 gemacht haben, nicht7200 zum Opfer2077 noch zum Brandopfer5930, sondern zum Zeugen5707 zwischen uns und euch.

29 God forbid2486 that we should rebel4775 against the LORD,3068 and turn7725 this day3117 from following310 the LORD,3068 to build1129 an altar4196 for burnt5930 offerings,4503 for meat offerings, or for sacrifices,2077 beside905 the altar4196 of the LORD3068 our God430 that is before6440 his tabernacle.4908

29 Das sei ferne2486 von uns, daß wir abtrünnig4775 werden von dem HErrn3068, daß wir uns heute3117 wollten von ihm wenden7725 und310 einen Altar4196 bauen1129 zum Brandopfer5930 und3068 zum Speisopfer4503 und andern Opfern2077 außer dem Altar4196 des HErrn3068, unsers Gottes430, der vor6440 seiner Wohnung4908 stehet.

30 And when Phinehas6372 the priest,3548 and the princes5387 of the congregation5712 and heads7218 of the thousands505 of Israel3478 which834 were with him, heard8085 the words1697 that the children1121 of Reuben7205 and the children1121 of Gad1410 and the children1121 of Manasseh4519 spoke,1696 it pleased3190 5869 them.

30 Da aber1121 Pinehas6372, der Priester, und3548 die Obersten7218 der Gemeine, die Fürsten5387 Israels3478, die mit ihm5869 waren, höreten diese Worte1697, die die Kinder1121 Ruben7205, Gad1410 und1121 Manasse4519 sagten1696, gefielen sie505 ihnen5712 wohl3190.

31 And Phinehas6372 the son1121 of Eleazar499 the priest3548 said559 to the children1121 of Reuben,7205 and to the children1121 of Gad,1410 and to the children1121 of Manasseh,4519 This day3117 we perceive3045 that the LORD3068 is among8432 us, because834 you have not committed4603 this2088 trespass4604 against the LORD:3068 now227 you have delivered5337 the children1121 of Israel3478 out of the hand3027 of the LORD.3068

31 Und1121 Pinehas6372, der Sohn1121 Eleasars499, des Priesters3548, sprach559 zu den Kindern1121 Ruben7205, Gad1410 und1121 Manasse4519: Heute3117 erkennen3045 wir, daß der HErr3068 unter8432 uns ist, daß ihr euch nicht5337 an dem HErrn3068 versündiget habt4603 in dieser Tat4604. Nun227 habt ihr die Kinder1121 Israel3478 errettet aus der Hand3027 des HErrn3068.

32 And Phinehas6372 the son1121 of Eleazar499 the priest,3548 and the princes,5387 returned7725 from the children1121 of Reuben,7205 and from the children1121 of Gad,1410 out of the land776 of Gilead,1568 to the land776 of Canaan,3667 to the children1121 of Israel,3478 and brought7725 them word1697 again.7725

32 Da6372 zog Pinehas, der Sohn1121 Eleasars499, des Priesters3548, und1121 die Obersten5387 aus dem Lande776 Gilead1568 von den Kindern1121 Ruben7205 und Gad1410 wieder7725 ins Land776 Kanaan3667 zu den Kindern1121 Israel3478 und sagten7725 es1697 ihnen7725 an.

33 And the thing1697 pleased3190 5869 the children1121 of Israel;3478 and the children1121 of Israel3478 blessed1288 God,430 and did not intend559 to go5927 up against5921 them in battle,6635 to destroy7843 the land776 wherein834 the children1121 of Reuben7205 and Gad1410 dwelled.3427

33 Das1697 gefiel3190 den Kindern1121 Israel3478 wohl und5869 lobten1288 den GOtt430 der Kinder1121 Israel3478 und sagten nicht mehr, daß sie559 hinauf5927 wollten ziehen mit einem Heer6635 wider sie3427, zu verderben7843 das Land776, da die Kinder1121 Ruben7205 und Gad1410 innen wohneten.

34 And the children1121 of Reuben7205 and the children1121 of Gad1410 called7121 the altar4196 Ed:5707 for it shall be a witness5707 between996 us that the LORD3068 is God.430

34 Und1121 die Kinder1121 Ruben7205 und Gad1410 hießen7121 den Altar4196: Daß er Zeuge5707 sei zwischen uns, und daß der HErr3068 GOtt430 sei.
