2 Son1121 of man,120 write3789 you the name8034 of the day,3117 even of this2088 same6106 day:3117 the king4428 of Babylon894 set5564 himself against413 Jerusalem3389 this2088 same6106 day.3117

2 Du8034 Menschenkind1121, schreibe3789 diesen6106 Tag3117 an, ja eben diesen6106 Tag3117; denn der120 König4428 zu Babel894 hat sich5564 eben an diesem Tage3117 wider Jerusalem3389 gerüstet.

3 And utter4911 a parable4912 to the rebellious4805 house,1004 and say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Set8239 on a pot,5518 set8239 it on, and also1571 pour3332 water4325 into it:

3 Und4805 gib dem ungehorsamen Volk ein Gleichnis4912 und1004 sprich559 zu ihnen: So4911 spricht559 der HErr136 HErr3069: Setze8239 einen Topf5518 zu; setze8239 zu und gieß3332 Wasser4325 darein!

4 Gather622 the pieces5409 thereof into it, even every3605 good2896 piece,5409 the thigh,3409 and the shoulder;3802 fill4390 it with the choice4005 bones.6106

4 Tue die Stücke5409 zusammen622 darein, die hinein sollen, und die besten2896 Stücke5409, die Lenden3409 und Schultern3802, und fülle4390 ihn mit den besten4005 Markstücken.

5 Take3947 the choice4005 of the flock,6629 and burn1754 also1571 the bones6106 under8478 it, and make it boil7570 well,7571 and let them seethe1310 the bones6106 of it therein.8432

5 Nimm3947 das Beste4005 von8432 der Herde6629 und mache ein Feuer1754 darunter7571, Markstücke zu kochen1310, und laß es getrost sieden7570 und die Markstücke drinnen wohl kochen.

6 Why3651 thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Woe188 to the bloody1818 city,5892 to the pot5518 whose834 scum2457 is therein, and whose scum2457 is not gone3318 out of it! bring3318 it out piece5409 by piece;5409 let no3808 lot1486 fall5307 on it.

6 Darum spricht559 der HErr136 HErr3069: O der mörderischen Stadt1818, die ein solcher Topf5518 ist5307, da das Angebrannte drinnen klebet, und5892 nicht abgehen will! Tue ein Stück5409 nach dem andern heraus3318, und darfst nicht darum losen1486, welches erst heraus3318 solle.

7 For her blood1818 is in the middle8432 of her; she set7760 it on the top6706 of a rock;5553 she poured8210 it not on the ground,776 to cover3680 it with dust;6083

7 Denn ihr Blut1818 ist drinnen, das sie auf8432 einen bloßen6706 Felsen5553 und nicht auf8210 die Erde776 verschüttet hat7760, da man‘s doch hätte mit Erde6083 können zuscharren3680.

8 That it might cause fury2534 to come5927 up to take vengeance;5359 I have set5414 her blood1818 on the top6706 of a rock,5553 that it should not be covered.3680
|
8 Und ich hab3680 auch darum sie lassen5414 dasselbige Blut1818 auf5927 einen bloßen6706 Felsen5553 schütten, daß es5359 nicht zugescharret würde5358, auf daß der Grimm2534 über sie käme und gerochen würde.

9 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Woe188 to the bloody1818 city!5892 I will even make the pile4071 for fire great.1431

9 Darum spricht der HErr136 HErr3069 also: O du559 mörderische Stadt1818, welche ich will zu einem großen Feuer4071 machen1431!

10 Heap7235 on wood,6086 kindle1814 the fire,784 consume8552 the flesh,1320 and spice7543 it well, and let the bones6106 be burned.2787
|
10 Trage nur viel7235 Holz6086 her, zünde1814 das Feuer784 an, daß das Fleisch1320 gar werde, und8552 würze7543 es wohl4841, daß die Markstücke anbrennen2787!
|
|
11 Then set5975 it empty7385 on the coals1513 thereof, that the brass5178 of it may be hot,3179 and may burn,2787 and that the filthiness2932 of it may be molten5413 in it, that the scum2457 of it may be consumed.8552
|
11 Lege auch den Topf leer7386 auf5975 die Glut, auf5413 daß1513 er heiß werde3179 und5178 sein8552 Erz entbrenne2787, ob seine Unreinigkeit2932 zerschmelzen und sein Angebranntes abgehen wollte.

12 She has wearied3811 herself with lies,8383 and her great7227 scum2457 went3318 not forth3318 out of her: her scum2457 shall be in the fire.784
|
12 Aber das Angebrannte, wie8383 fast es brennet, will nicht abgehen3318, denn es ist zu sehr angebrannt; es muß im Feuer784 verschmelzen.
|

13 In your filthiness2932 is lewdness:2154 because3282 I have purged2891 you, and you were not purged,2891 you shall not be purged2891 from your filthiness2932 any more,5750 till5704 I have caused my fury2534 to rest5117 on you.
|
13 Deine Unreinigkeit2932 ist2891 so verhärtet2154, daß, ob ich dich gleich gerne reinigen wollte, dennoch du nicht willst dich reinigen lassen5117 von deiner Unreinigkeit2932. Darum kannst du fort nicht wieder rein2891 werden, bis mein Grimm2534 sich2891 an dir gekühlet habe.

14 I the LORD3068 have spoken1696 it: it shall come935 to pass, and I will do6213 it; I will not go6544 back,6544 neither3808 will I spare,2347 neither3808 will I repent;5162 according to your ways,1870 and according to your doings,5949 shall they judge8199 you, said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

14 Ich, der HErr3068, hab es5162 geredet; es soll kommen. Ich will‘s935 tun1870 und nicht säumen6544; ich will nicht schonen2347 noch mich‘s reuen lassen, sondern sie sollen dich richten8199, wie du gelebt und getan6213 hast1696, spricht5002 der HErr136 HErr3069.

15 Also the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559

15 Und des HErrn3068 Wort1697 geschah zu mir und sprach559:
|
|
16 Son1121 of man,120 behold,2005 I take3947 away from you the desire4261 of your eyes5869 with a stroke:4046 yet neither3808 shall you mourn5594 nor3808 weep,1058 neither3808 shall your tears1832 run935 down.
|
16 Du Menschenkind120, siehe, ich will935 dir deiner Augen5869 Lust4261 nehmen3947 durch eine Plage4046. Aber1121 du sollst nicht klagen5594 noch weinen1058, noch eine Träne1832 lassen.

17 Forbear1826 to cry,602 make6213 no3808 mourning60 for the dead,4191 bind2280 the tire6287 of your head on you, and put7760 on your shoes5275 on your feet,7272 and cover5844 not your lips,8222 and eat398 not the bread3899 of men.582

17 Heimlich1826 magst du seufzen602, aber keine Totenklage60 führen, sondern du sollst deinen Schmuck6287 anlegen2280 und6213 deine Schuhe5275 anziehen5844. Du sollst deinen Mund8222 nicht verhüllen und582 nicht das Trauerbrot3899 essen398.

18 So I spoke1696 to the people5971 in the morning:1242 and at even6153 my wife802 died;4191 and I did6213 in the morning1242 as I was commanded.6680

18 Und da ich des Morgens1242 früh zum Volk5971 redete1696, starb4191 mir zu Abend6153 mein Weib802. Und ich tat6213 des andern Morgens1242, wie mir befohlen6680 war.

19 And the people5971 said559 to me, Will you not tell5046 us what4100 these428 things are to us, that you do6213 so?
|
19 Und das Volk5971 sprach559 zu6213 mir5046: Willst du uns denn nicht anzeigen, was uns das bedeute, das du tust?
|
|
20 Then I answered559 them, The word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559
|
20 Und ich sprach559 zu ihnen: Der HErr3068 hat mit1697 mir geredet und gesagt559:
|
|
21 Speak559 to the house1004 of Israel,3478 Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2005 I will profane2490 my sanctuary,4720 the excellency1347 of your strength,5797 the desire4261 of your eyes,5869 and that which your soul5315 pities;4263 and your sons1121 and your daughters1323 whom834 you have left5800 shall fall5307 by the sword.2719

21 Sage559 dem Hause1004 Israel3478, daß der HErr136 HErr3069 spricht559 also: Siehe, ich will mein Heiligtum4720, euren höchsten1347 Trost5797, die Lust4261 eurer Augen5869 und eures Herzens5315 Wunsch4263, entheiligen2490; und eure Söhne1121 und Töchter1323, die ihr verlassen5800 müsset, werden durchs Schwert2719 fallen5307;

22 And you shall do6213 as I have done:6213 you shall not cover5844 your lips,8222 nor3808 eat398 the bread3899 of men.582

22 und582 müsset tun, wie ich getan6213 habe6213: euren Mund8222 müsset ihr nicht verhüllen5844 und das Trauerbrot3899 nicht essen398,

|
23 And your tires6287 shall be on your heads,7218 and your shoes5275 on your feet:7272 you shall not mourn5594 nor3808 weep;1058 but you shall pine4743 away for your iniquities,5771 and mourn5098 one376 toward413 another.251
|
23 sondern müsset euren Schmuck6287 auf euer Haupt7218 setzen und eure Schuhe5275 anziehen. Ihr7272 werdet nicht klagen5594 noch weinen1058, sondern über euren Sünden5771 verschmachten4743 und untereinander376 seufzen5098.

24 Thus Ezekiel3168 is to you a sign:4159 according to all3605 that he has done6213 shall you do:6213 and when this comes,935 you shall know3045 that I am the Lord136 GOD.3069
|
24 Und soll also Hesekiel3168 euch ein Wunder4159 sein, daß ihr3045 tun6213 müsset, wie er getan6213 hat, wenn es nun kommen935 wird, damit ihr erfahret, daß ich der HErr136 HErr3069 bin.

25 Also, you son1121 of man,120 shall it not be in the day3117 when I take3947 from them their strength,4581 the joy4885 of their glory,8597 the desire4261 of their eyes,5869 and that whereupon they set4853 their minds,5315 their sons1121 and their daughters,1323
|
25 Und1121 du, Menschenkind120, zu der Zeit3117, wenn ich wegnehmen werde3947 von ihnen ihre Macht4581 und Trost8597, die Lust4261 ihrer5315 Augen5869 und ihres Herzens Wunsch4853, ihre Söhne1121 und Töchter1323,

26 That he that escapes6412 in that day3117 shall come935 to you, to cause you to hear2045 it with your ears?241
|
26 ja, zur selbigen Zeit3117 wird einer, so entronnen6412 ist935, zu dir kommen und dir‘s kundtun2045.
|
|
27 In that day3117 shall your mouth6310 be opened6605 to him which is escaped,6412 and you shall speak,1696 and be no3808 more5750 dumb:481 and you shall be a sign4159 to them; and they shall know3045 that I am the LORD.3068
|
27 Zur selbigen Zeit3117 wird dein Mund6310 aufgetan6605 werden samt dem, der entronnen6412 ist, daß du reden1696 sollst481 und nicht mehr schweigen; denn du mußt ihr3045 Wunder4159 sein, daß sie erfahren, ich sei der HErr3068.
