4 Er soll aber die Lampen5216 auf6440 dem feinen2889 Leuchter4501 zurichten6186 vor dem HErrn3068 täglich8548.

5 Und sollst Semmelmehl5560 nehmen3947 und davon zwölf6240 Kuchen2471 backen644; zwo Zehnten soll ein259 Kuchen2471 haben.

6 Und sollst sie8147 legen7760 je sechs8337 auf6440 eine Schicht4635 auf den feinen2889 Tisch7979 vor dem HErrn3068.

7 Und sollst auf dieselben4635 legen5414 reinen2134 Weihrauch3828, daß es seien Denkbrote zum Feuer801 dem HErrn3068.

8 Alle3117 Sabbate7676 für8548 und für soll er sie zurichten6186 vor6440 dem HErrn3068, von den Kindern1121 Israel3478, zum ewigen5769 Bunde1285.

9 Und sollen Aarons175 und seiner Söhne1121 sein, die sollen sie6944 essen398 an heiliger6918 Stätte4725; denn das ist6944 sein Allerheiligstes von den Opfern801 des HErrn3068 zum ewigen5769 Recht2706.

10 Es ging aber aus3318 eines israelitischen3482 Weibes802 Sohn1121, der eines ägyptischen4713 Mannes Kind war1121, unter8432 den Kindern1121 Israel und1121 zankte sich5327 im Lager4264 mit einem israelitischen3481 Manne

11 und1121 lästerte5344 den Namen8034 und fluchte7043. Da brachten935 sie802 ihn zu Mose4872 (seine Mutter517 aber hieß8034 Selomith8019, eine Tochter1323 Dibris1704, vom Stamm4294 Dan1835)

12 und legten ihn3240 gefangen4929, bis ihnen klare Antwort würde6567 durch den Mund6310 des HErrn3068.

13 Und der HErr3068 redete1696 mit Mose4872 und sprach559:

14 Führe3318 den Flucher hinaus vor2351 das Lager4264 und laß alle, die es gehört8085 haben, ihre Hände3027 auf sein7043 Haupt7218 legen5564 und laß ihn die ganze Gemeine steinigen7275.

15 Und559 sage1696 den Kindern1121 Israel3478: Welcher376 seinem GOtt430 fluchet, der soll seine Sünde2399 tragen5375.

16 Welcher des HErrn3068 Namen8034 lästert5344, der soll des Todes4191 sterben4191; die ganze Gemeine soll ihn steinigen7275. Wie der Fremdling, so soll auch der Einheimische249 sein: wenn er1616 den Namen8034 lästert5344, so soll er sterben4191.

17 Wer5315 irgend einen Menschen376 erschlägt5221, der120 soll des Todes4191 sterben4191.

18 Wer aber ein Vieh929 erschlägt5221, der soll‘s bezahlen7999, Leib5315 um Leib.

19 Und6213 wer seinen Nächsten5997 verletzet, dem soll man tun6213 wie er376 getan5414 hat:

20 Schade7667 um Schade7667, Auge5869 um Auge5869, Zahn8127 um Zahn8127; wie er5414 hat einen Menschen120 verletzet, so soll man ihm wieder tun5414.

21 Also daß, wer ein Vieh929 erschlägt5221, der soll‘s bezahlen7999; wer aber einen Menschen120 erschlägt5221, der soll sterben4191.

22 Es soll einerlei259 Recht4941 unter euch sein, dem Fremdling1616 wie dem Einheimischen249; denn ich bin der HErr3068, euer GOtt430.

23 Mose4872 aber sagte es den Kindern1121 Israel3478; und68 führeten den Flucher7043 aus3318 vor2351 das Lager4264 und steinigten7275 ihn. Also taten6213 die Kinder1121 Israel3478, wie der HErr3068 Mose4872 geboten6680 hatte1696.

Chapter 24

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Command the children of Israel to bring to you pure olive oil, beaten, to cause the lamps to burn continually.

3 Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron set them in order from the evening to the morning before the LORD continually; it is a statute for ever throughout your generations.

4 He shall set the lamps in order upon the large candlestick before the LORD continually.

5 And you shall take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes of it; two tenths of an ephah shall be in each cake.

6 And you shall set them in order in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure table before the LORD.

7 And you shall put pure frankincense upon each row before the LORD, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire to the LORD.

8 On the sabbath day Aaron shall set them in order before the LORD continually, as a gift from the children of Israel for an everlasting covenant.

9 And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is a most holy to him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.

10 And the son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and this son of the Israelite woman and a man of Israel quarreled in the camp;

11 And the Israelite woman's son blasphemed the name of the LORD and cursed it. And they brought him to Moses (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan),

12 And they put him in prison, till the LORD'S decision might be made known to them.

13 And the LORD spoke to Moses and said to him,

14 Bring outside the camp him who has cursed; and let all who heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

15 And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curses his God shall suffer for his sin.

16 And he who blasphemes the name of the LORD shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall surely stone him; the proselyte as well as the Israelite, when he blasphemes my name, shall be put to death.

17 And he who kills any man shall surely be put to death.

18 And he who kills a beast shall make it good; beast for beast.

19 And if a man causes a blemish in his neighbor, as he has done, so shall it be done to him;

20 Wound for wound, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has caused a blemish in his neighbor, so shall it be done to him.

21 And he who kills a beast shall restore it; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.

22 You shall have one manner of justice; as for a proselyte, so for an Israelite; for I am the LORD your God.

23 And Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and they brought forth him who had cursed outside the camp, and stoned him with stones and he died. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.
