2 Und7760 ich kaufte7069 einen Gürtel232 nach dem Befehl des HErrn3068 und gürtete ihn um1697 meine Lenden4975.

2 So I got7069 853 a girdle232 according to the word1697 of the LORD,3068 and put7760 it on5921 my loins.4975

3 Da geschah des HErrn3068 Wort1697 zum andernmal8145 zu mir und sprach559:

3 And the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 me the second time,8145 saying,559
|
|
4 Nimm3947 den Gürtel232, den du gekauft7069 und um deine Lenden4975 gegürtet hast, und mache dich2934 auf6965 und gehe3212 hin an den Phrath und verstecke ihn daselbst in5357 einen Steinritz5553.

4 Take3947 853 the girdle232 that834 thou hast got,7069 which834 is upon5921 thy loins,4975 and arise,6965 go1980 to Euphrates,6578 and hide2934 it there8033 in a hole5357 of the rock.5553

5 Ich ging hin3212 und versteckte2934 ihn am Phrath, wie mir der HErr3068 geboten hatte6680.

5 So I went,1980 and hid2934 it by Euphrates,6578 as834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 me.

6 Nach7093 langer7227 Zeit3117 aber sprach559 der HErr3068 zu mir: Mache dich2934 auf6965 und gehe3212 hin an den Phrath und hole3947 den Gürtel232 wieder, den ich dich hieß6680 daselbst verstecken.

6 And it came to pass1961 after4480 7093 many7227 days,3117 that the LORD3068 said559 unto413 me, Arise,6965 go1980 to Euphrates,6578 and take3947 853 the girdle232 from thence,4480 8033 which834 I commanded6680 thee to hide2934 there.8033

7 Ich ging hin3212 an den Phrath und7843 grub2658 auf6578 und nahm3947 den Gürtel232 von dem Ort4725, dahin ich ihn versteckt hatte2934; und siehe, der Gürtel232 war verdorben, daß er nichts mehr taugte6743.

7 Then I went1980 to Euphrates,6578 and digged,2658 and took3947 853 the girdle232 from4480 the place4725 where834 8033 I had hid2934 it: and, behold,2009 the girdle232 was marred,7843 it was profitable6743 for nothing.3808 3605

8 Da geschah des HErrn3068 Wort1697 zu mir und sprach559:

8 Then the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 unto413 me, saying,559

9 So spricht559 der HErr3068: Eben also will ich auch verderben7843 die große7227 Hoffart1347 Judas und Jerusalems3389.

9 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 After this manner3602 will I mar7843 the pride1347 of Judah,3063 and the great7227 pride1347 of Jerusalem.3389

10 Das1697 böse7451 Volk5971, das meine Worte nicht6743 hören8085 will3987, sondern gehen3212 hin nach310 Gedünken8307 ihres Herzens3820 und430 folgen andern312 Göttern, daß sie denselbigen dienen5647 und anbeten7812, sie sollen1980 werden wie der Gürtel232, der nichts mehr taugt.

10 This2088 evil7451 people,5971 which refuse3987 to hear8085 853 my words,1697 which walk1980 in the imagination8307 of their heart,3820 and walk1980 after310 other312 gods,430 to serve5647 them, and to worship7812 them, shall even be1961 as this2088 girdle,232 which834 is good6743 for nothing.3808 3605

11 Denn gleichwie ein Mann376 den Gürtel232 um seine Lenden4975 bindet1692, also habe ich, spricht5002 der HErr3068, das ganze Haus1004 Israel3478 und das ganze Haus1004 Juda3063 um mich gegürtet, daß sie mein Volk5971 sein sollten, zu8085 einem Namen8034, Lob8416 und Ehren8597; aber sie wollen nicht hören.

11 For3588 as834 the girdle232 cleaveth1692 to413 the loins4975 of a man,376 so3651 have I caused to cleave1692 unto413 me853 the whole3605 house1004 of Israel3478 and the whole3605 house1004 of Judah,3063 saith5002 the LORD;3068 that they might be1961 unto me for a people,5971 and for a name,8034 and for a praise,8416 and for a glory:8597 but they would not3808 hear.8085

12 So sage559 ihnen nun dies Wort1697: So spricht der HErr3068, der GOtt430 Israels3478: Es sollen alle Legel mit Wein3196 gefüllet werden4390. So werden sie zu dir sagen559: Wer weiß3045 das nicht3045, daß man559 alle Legel mit Wein3196 füllen4390 soll?

12 Therefore thou shalt speak559 unto413 them853 this2088 word;1697 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel,3478 Every3605 bottle5035 shall be filled4390 with wine:3196 and they shall say559 unto413 thee, Do we not3808 certainly know3045 3045 that3588 every3605 bottle5035 shall be filled4390 with wine?3196

13 So sprich559 zu ihnen: So spricht der HErr3068: Siehe, ich will alle, die in diesem Lande776 wohnen3427, die Könige4428, so auf dem Stuhl3678 Davids1732 sitzen3427, die Priester und3548 Propheten5030, und alle Einwohner3427 zu Jerusalem3389 füllen4390, daß sie559 trunken7943 werden sollen.

13 Then shalt thou say559 unto413 them, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 Behold,2009 I will fill4390 853 all3605 the inhabitants3427 of this2063 land,776 even the kings4428 that sit3427 upon5921 David's1732 throne,3678 and the priests,3548 and the prophets,5030 and all3605 the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem,3389 with drunkenness.7943

14 Und376 will einen mit dem andern251, die Väter1 samt3162 den Kindern1121, verstreuen5310, spricht5002 der HErr3068, und will weder schonen2550 noch übersehen2347, noch barmherzig7355 sein über ihrem Verderben7843.

14 And I will dash5310 them one376 against413 another,251 even the fathers1 and the sons1121 together,3162 saith5002 the LORD:3068 I will not3808 pity,2550 nor3808 spare,2347 nor3808 have mercy,7355 but destroy4480 7843 them.

15 So höret nun und merket auf und trotzet nicht238; denn der HErr3068 hat‘s8085 geredet1696.

15 Hear8085 ye, and give ear;238 be not408 proud:1361 for3588 the LORD3068 hath spoken.1696
|

16 Gebet dem HErrn3068, eurem GOtt430, die Ehre3519, ehe denn es finster2821 werde, und7760 ehe eure Füße7272 sich7896 an den dunklen Bergen2022 stoßen, daß ihr des Lichts wartet6960, so er216‘s doch gar finster6757 und dunkel5399 machen5414 wird5062.

16 Give5414 glory3519 to the LORD3068 your God,430 before2962 he cause darkness,2821 and before2962 your feet7272 stumble5062 upon5921 the dark5399 mountains,2022 and, while ye look6960 for light,216 he turn7760 it into the shadow of death,6757 and make7896 it gross darkness.6205

17 Wollt ihr aber solches nicht hören8085, so muß meine See LE5315 doch heimlich4565 weinen1058 über solche Hoffart1466; meine Augen6440 müssen1830 mit Tränen1832 fließen3381, daß des HErrn3068 Herde5739 gefangen wird7617.

17 But if518 ye will not3808 hear8085 it, my soul5315 shall weep1058 in secret places4565 for4480 6440 your pride;1466 and mine eye5869 shall weep sore,1830 1830 and run down3381 with tears,1832 because3588 the LORD's3068 flock5739 is carried away captive.7617

18 Sage559 dem Könige4428 und der Königin1377: Setzet euch herunter8213, denn die3427 Krone5850 der Herrlichkeit8597 ist euch von eurem Haupt gefallen3381.

18 Say559 unto the king4428 and to the queen,1377 Humble yourselves,8213 sit down:3427 for3588 your principalities4761 shall come down,3381 even the crown5850 of your glory.8597

19 Die Städte5892 gegen Mittag5045 sind verschlossen, und ist5462 niemand, der sie auftue6605; das ganze Juda3063 ist rein7965 weggeführet.

19 The cities5892 of the south5045 shall be shut up,5462 and none369 shall open6605 them: Judah3063 shall be carried away captive1540 all3605 of it, it shall be wholly7965 carried away captive.1540

20 Hebet eure Augen5869 auf5375 und sehet, wie sie5414 von Mitternacht6828 daherkommen. Wo ist7200 nun die Herde5739, so dir befohlen war935, deine herrliche8597 Herde6629?

20 Lift up5375 your eyes,5869 and behold7200 them that come935 from the north:4480 6828 where346 is the flock5739 that was given5414 thee, thy beautiful8597 flock?6629

21 Was willst du sagen559, wenn er dich so heimsuchen wird6485? Denn du hast3205 sie3925 so gewöhnet wider dich, daß sie270 Fürsten441 und Häupter7218 sein wollen. Was gilt‘s? es wird dich Angst ankommen wie ein2256 Weib802 in Kindesnöten.

21 What4100 wilt thou say559 when3588 he shall punish6485 5921 thee? for thou859 hast taught3925 them to be captains,441 and as chief7218 over5921 thee: shall not3808 sorrows2256 take270 thee, as3644 a woman802 in travail?3205

22 Und wenn du in deinem Herzen3824 sagen559 willst: Warum begegnet7122 doch mir solches? Um der Menge7230 willen deiner Missetat5771 sind dir deine Säume7757 aufgedeckt1540 und deine Schenkel (mit Gewalt2554) geblößet.

22 And if3588 thou say559 in thine heart,3824 Wherefore4069 come7122 these things428 upon me? For the greatness7230 of thine iniquity5771 are thy skirts7757 discovered,1540 and thy heels6119 made bare.2554

23 Kann3201 auch ein Mohr3569 seine Haut5785 wandeln2015 oder ein Parder5246 seine Flecken2272? So könnet ihr auch Gutes tun3190, weil ihr des Bösen7489 gewohnt seid3928.

23 Can the Ethiopian3569 change2015 his skin,5785 or the leopard5246 his spots?2272 then may3201 ye859 also1571 do good,3190 that are accustomed3928 to do evil.7489

24 Darum will ich sie zerstreuen6327 wie Stoppeln7179, die vor dem Winde7307 aus der Wüste4057 verweht werden5674.
|
24 Therefore will I scatter6327 them as the stubble7179 that passeth away5674 by the wind7307 of the wilderness.4057
|
|
25 Das soll dein7911 Lohn1486 sein und4055 dein Teil4490, den ich dir zugemessen habe, spricht5002 der HErr3068. Darum daß du mein vergessen hast und verlässest dich982 auf Lügen8267,
|
25 This2088 is thy lot,1486 the portion4490 of thy measures4055 from4480 854 me, saith5002 the LORD;3068 because834 thou hast forgotten7911 me, and trusted982 in falsehood.8267

26 so will7200 auch ich deine Säume7757 hoch aufdecken2834 gegen6440 dir, daß man deine Scham wohl sehen muß.
|
26 Therefore1571 will I589 discover2834 thy skirts7757 upon5921 thy face,6440 that thy shame7036 may appear.7200

|
27 Denn ich habe gesehen deine Ehebrecherei5004, deine Geilheit4684, deine freche2154 Hurerei2184, ja deine Greuel8251, beide, auf Hügeln1389 und auf Äckern7704. Wehe188 dir310, Jerusalem3389! Wann willst du doch immer mehr gereiniget werden7200?

27 I have seen7200 thine adulteries,5004 and thy neighings,4684 the lewdness2154 of thy whoredom,2184 and thine abominations8251 on5921 the hills1389 in the fields.7704 Woe188 unto thee, O Jerusalem!3389 wilt thou not3808 be made clean?2891 when310 shall it once5750 be?
