3 Da sprach559 der König4428 zu ihr: Was ist dir, Esther635, Königin4436? und was forderst du1246? Auch die Hälfte2677 des Königreichs4438 soll dir gegeben5414 werden.

3 Then said559 the king4428 to her, What4100 will you, queen4436 Esther?635 and what4100 is your request?1246 it shall be even given5414 you to the half2677 of the kingdom.4438

4 Esther635 sprach559: Gefällt2895 es dem Könige4428, so komme935 der König4428 und Haman2001 heute3117 zu dem Mahl4960, das ich zugerichtet habe6213.

4 And Esther635 answered,559 If518 it seem good2895 to the king,4428 let the king4428 and Haman2001 come935 this day3117 to the banquet4960 that I have prepared6213 for him.

5 Der König4428 sprach: Eilet4116, daß Haman2001 tue6213, was Esther635 gesagt559 hat! Da nun der König4428 und Haman2001 zu dem Mahl4960 kamen935, das1697 Esther635 zugerichtet hatte6213,

5 Then the king4428 said,559 Cause Haman2001 to make haste,4116 that he may do6213 as Esther635 has said.1697 So the king4428 and Haman2001 came935 to the banquet4960 that Esther635 had prepared.6213

6 sprach559 der König4428 zu6213 Esther635, da er Wein3196 getrunken hatte4960: Was bittest du7596, Esther? Es soll dir gegeben5414 werden. Und was forderst du1246? Auch die Hälfte2677 des Königreichs4438, es soll geschehen.

6 And the king4428 said559 to Esther635 at the banquet4960 of wine,3196 What4100 is your petition?7596 and it shall be granted5414 you: and what4100 is your request?1246 even to the half2677 of the kingdom4438 it shall be performed.6213

7 Da antwortete6030 Esther635 und sprach559: Meine Bitte7596 und Begehr1246 ist:

7 Then answered6032 Esther,635 and said,559 My petition7596 and my request1246 is;

8 Habe4672 ich Gnade2580 gefunden vor5869 dem Könige4428, und so es dem Könige4428 gefällt, mir zu6213 geben5414 meine Bitte7596 und zu6213 tun2895 mein Begehr1246, so komme der König4428 und Haman2001 zu dem Mahl4960, das1697 ich für sie zurichten will935, so will ich morgen4279 tun6213, was der König4428 gesagt hat.

8 If518 I have found4672 favor2580 in the sight5869 of the king,4428 and if518 it please2895 the king4428 to grant5414 my petition,7596 and to perform6213 my request,1246 let the king4428 and Haman2001 come935 to the banquet4960 that I shall prepare6213 for them, and I will do6213 to morrow4279 as the king4428 has said.1697

9 Da ging3318 Haman des Tages3117 hinaus3318 fröhlich8056 und4390 gutes2896 Muts3820. Und da er2001 sah7200 Mardachai im Tor8179 des Königs4428, daß er2001 nicht aufstund, noch sich6965 vor ihm bewegte2111, ward er2001 voll Zorns2534 über Mardachai.

9 Then went3318 Haman2001 forth3318 that day3117 joyful8056 and with a glad2896 heart:3820 but when Haman2001 saw7200 Mordecai4782 in the king's4428 gate,8179 that he stood6965 not up, nor3808 moved2111 for him, he was full4390 of indignation2534 against5921 Mordecai.4782

11 And Haman2001 told5608 them of the glory3519 of his riches,6239 and the multitude7230 of his children,1121 and all3605 the things wherein834 the king4428 had promoted1431 him, and how834 he had advanced5375 him above5921 the princes8269 and servants5650 of the king.4428

12 Auch sprach559 Haman2001: Und die Königin4436 Esther635 hat niemand lassen kommen935 mit dem Könige4428 zum Mahl4960, das sie7121 zugerichtet hat, ohne mich; und bin auch morgen4279 zu6213 ihr geladen mit dem Könige4428.

12 Haman2001 said559 moreover,637 Yes, Esther635 the queen4436 did let no3808 man come935 in with the king4428 to the banquet4960 that she had prepared6213 but myself; and to morrow4279 am I invited7121 to her also1571 with the king.4428

13 Aber an dem allem habe ich keine Genüge7737, solange ich sehe7200 den Juden3064 Mardachai am Königstor8179 sitzen3427.

Das1697 gefiel3190 Haman2001 wohl und ließ einen Baum6086 zurichten.
