Глава 9

1 В прежние времена люди не относились всерьёз к земле Завулона и земле Неффалима. Но в будущем Господь возвеличит эти края: приморскую землю, располагающуюся к востоку от реки Иордан, а также Галилею, в которой живут неиудеи.

2 Сейчас те люди живут во тьме, но великий свет увидят они. Там, где они живут, темно, как в стране смерти, но великий свет воссияет для них.

3 Господь, Ты умножишь народ, сделаешь его счастливым, и он явит Тебе свою радость, подобно тому как радуются во время жатвы и при разделе добычи после сражения.

4 И потому Ты освободишь этих людей от тяжкого бремени, снимешь с них тяжёлое ярмо, Ты сломаешь розги, которыми их наказывали враги, как во времена победы над Мадиамом.

5 Всякая обувь, в которой прошли войну, и одежда, обагрённая кровью, будут брошены в огонь.

6 Это всё будет, когда родится ребёнок, Богом данный нам Сын, Который станет поводырём, и назовут Его: «Чудесный Советник», «Бог Всемогущий», «Вечный Отец», «Князь Мира».

7 Сила власти Его и мир умножатся для царя из семьи Давида, который будет управлять во веки веков в справедливости и доброте. Велика любовь Господа Всемогущего к людям Его, и Он всё совершит Своей великой любовью.

8 Мой Бог сказал против народа Иакова, и повеление это нисходит на Израиль.

9 И каждый в Ефреме, и даже правитель в Самарии узнает, что Бог наказывает их. Эти люди горды и хвастливы, они говорят:

10 «Пусть развалятся кирпичи, мы построим из крепкого камня, пусть вырубят маленькие деревья, мы посадим ещё большие, и будут они крепки».

11 Господь приведёт против Израиля врагов Рецина, и они победят его.

12 Господь приведёт с востока народ Арама, а с запада — филистимлян. Они победят Израиль, но даже тогда Господь не успокоит Свой гнев и будет готов наказать народ Израиля.

13 Народ не прекратил грешить и не воззвал к Господу Всемогущему за помощью,

14 и поэтому Господь отсёк у Израиля голову и хвост, в один день забрал и ствол, и ветви.

15 Голова — это старейшины и властители, а хвост — пророки, проповедующие ложь.

16 И будут уничтожены и поводыри, уводящие народ с пути праведного, и те, кто следуют за ними.

17 Все люди — злодеи, поэтому Господь не будет рад юношам и не явит Своего милосердия сиротам и вдовам, так как люди лживы, жестоки и лицемерны. Бог не отвратит Свой гнев, Он продолжит Своё наказание.

18 Зло подобно маленькому огню, который пожирает сначала терновник и сорняки, потом сжигает кусты на краю леса и, разгоревшись в большой пожар, окутывает всё своим дымом.

19 Разгневался Господь Всемогущий, и поэтому земля была сожжена. В этом огне все сгорели словно хворост, и никто не бросится спасать своего брата.

20 Люди ухватили всё, что попалось под руку справа, но остались голодны, ухватили слева, но не насытились, и тогда каждый стал пожирать плоть своих детей.

21 Манассия воевал против Ефрема, а Ефрем сражался против Манассии, а затем оба вышли войной против Иудеи. Но и тогда Господь все ещё не отвратит Свой гнев и будет готов наказать народ Израиля.

Chapter 9

1 THE land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali have rejoiced; the mighty dominion, the way by the sea, the country beyond the river Jordan, and Galilee of the Gentiles have rejoiced.

2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined.

3 Thou hast multiplied the people, and thou hast increased its joy; they joy before thee as those who rejoice in the harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder and the rod of his oppressor, as in the days of Midian.

5 For every voice which is heard brings terror and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be for burning and fuel for fire.

6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder: and his name is called Wonderful Counsellor, The Mighty One, The Everlasting God, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and of his peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to establish it and to sustain it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

8 The LORD has sent a word to Jacob, and it has lighted upon Israel.

9 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria, who say in pride and haughtiness of heart,

10 We shall lay bricks and hew stones; the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.

11 Therefore the LORD shall cause the adversaries of Rezin to prevail against him, and incite his enemies,

12 The Edomites from the east and the Philistines from the west; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

13 For the people did not turn to him till they were devoured, neither did they seek the LORD of hosts.

14 Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, tail and head, in one day.

15 The elder and honorable, he is the head; and the prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail.

16 For the leaders of this people shall cause them to err and cause them to sink low.

17 Therefore the LORD shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall he have mercy on their orphans and widows; for all of them are hypocrites and evildoers, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

18 For wickedness burns like the fire; it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and the chosen ones shall roll up like the lifting up of smoke.

19 Through the rebuke of the LORD of hosts the land trembles, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire; no man shall spare his brother.

20 And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and shall not be satisfied; they shall eat every man the flesh of his own kinsmen;

21 Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh; and they together shall devour Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

2 Сейчас те люди живут во тьме, но великий свет увидят они. Там, где они живут, темно, как в стране смерти, но великий свет воссияет для них.

3 Господь, Ты умножишь народ, сделаешь его счастливым, и он явит Тебе свою радость, подобно тому как радуются во время жатвы и при разделе добычи после сражения.

3 Thou hast multiplied the people, and thou hast increased its joy; they joy before thee as those who rejoice in the harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

4 И потому Ты освободишь этих людей от тяжкого бремени, снимешь с них тяжёлое ярмо, Ты сломаешь розги, которыми их наказывали враги, как во времена победы над Мадиамом.

4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder and the rod of his oppressor, as in the days of Midian.

5 Всякая обувь, в которой прошли войну, и одежда, обагрённая кровью, будут брошены в огонь.

5 For every voice which is heard brings terror and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be for burning and fuel for fire.

6 Это всё будет, когда родится ребёнок, Богом данный нам Сын, Который станет поводырём, и назовут Его: «Чудесный Советник», «Бог Всемогущий», «Вечный Отец», «Князь Мира».

6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder: and his name is called Wonderful Counsellor, The Mighty One, The Everlasting God, The Prince of Peace.

7 Сила власти Его и мир умножатся для царя из семьи Давида, который будет управлять во веки веков в справедливости и доброте. Велика любовь Господа Всемогущего к людям Его, и Он всё совершит Своей великой любовью.

7 Of the increase of his government and of his peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to establish it and to sustain it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

8 Мой Бог сказал против народа Иакова, и повеление это нисходит на Израиль.

8 The LORD has sent a word to Jacob, and it has lighted upon Israel.

9 И каждый в Ефреме, и даже правитель в Самарии узнает, что Бог наказывает их. Эти люди горды и хвастливы, они говорят:

9 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitants of Samaria, who say in pride and haughtiness of heart,

10 «Пусть развалятся кирпичи, мы построим из крепкого камня, пусть вырубят маленькие деревья, мы посадим ещё большие, и будут они крепки».

13 Народ не прекратил грешить и не воззвал к Господу Всемогущему за помощью,

13 For the people did not turn to him till they were devoured, neither did they seek the LORD of hosts.

14 и поэтому Господь отсёк у Израиля голову и хвост, в один день забрал и ствол, и ветви.

14 Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, tail and head, in one day.

15 Голова — это старейшины и властители, а хвост — пророки, проповедующие ложь.

15 The elder and honorable, he is the head; and the prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail.

16 И будут уничтожены и поводыри, уводящие народ с пути праведного, и те, кто следуют за ними.

16 For the leaders of this people shall cause them to err and cause them to sink low.

17 Все люди — злодеи, поэтому Господь не будет рад юношам и не явит Своего милосердия сиротам и вдовам, так как люди лживы, жестоки и лицемерны. Бог не отвратит Свой гнев, Он продолжит Своё наказание.

18 Зло подобно маленькому огню, который пожирает сначала терновник и сорняки, потом сжигает кусты на краю леса и, разгоревшись в большой пожар, окутывает всё своим дымом.

19 Разгневался Господь Всемогущий, и поэтому земля была сожжена. В этом огне все сгорели словно хворост, и никто не бросится спасать своего брата.

20 Люди ухватили всё, что попалось под руку справа, но остались голодны, ухватили слева, но не насытились, и тогда каждый стал пожирать плоть своих детей.

21 Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh; and they together shall devour Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
