Глава 24

1 «Если человек женится, а потом узнает тайну об этой женщине, которая ему не понравится, и, если он недоволен женой, пусть напишет разводное письмо, даст ей и отошлёт её из своего дома.

2 Оставив его дом, она может пойти и стать женой другого.

3 Но если и другой муж ею тоже недоволен и отошлёт её, дав ей развод, или если другой муж её умрёт, то первый муж не может снова взять её в жёны, потому что она стала для него нечистой; если он снова женится на ней, то поступок его будет ненавистен Господу. Не свершай такого греха на земле, которую Господь, Бог твой, даёт тебе.

5 Того, кто недавно женился, пусть не посылают в армию и пусть не дают ему никакой особой работы; пусть он целый год остаётся дома на радость своей жене.

6 Когда даёшь кому-либо в долг, не бери у него в залог жернова, которыми он мелет муку, так как это равносильно тому, что ты отобрал у него еду.

7 Если один израильтянин похитил другого из своего народа и если похититель продал того человека в рабство, то похититель должен быть убит. Избавь свой род от этого зла.

8 Если ты болен проказой, тщательно исполняй всё, чему учат левиты,

9 помни, что Господь, Бог твой, сделал с Мариамью на пути, когда вы шли из Египта.

10 Если даёшь кому-то в долг, не заходи к нему в дом за залогом,

11 оставайся снаружи, пусть тот, кому ты дал в долг, вынесет тебе залог.

12 Если он беден, не оставляй его одежду как залог у себя на ночь,

13 а возврати в тот же вечер. Тогда у него будет одежда, чтобы укрыться во время сна, и он благословит тебя, и Господь, Бог твой, засчитает тебе это как праведное и доброе дело.

14 Не обманывай наёмного работника, бедного и нуждающегося, будь то израильтянин или иноземец, живущий в одном из твоих городов.

15 Отдавай ему плату каждый день перед заходом солнца, потому что он беден и рассчитывает на эти деньги. Если не заплатишь ему, он пожалуется на тебя Господу, и ты будешь повинен в грехе.

16 Не наказывай смертью родителей за проступки их детей, не наказывай смертью детей за проступки их родителей. Наказывай смертью человека только за проступок, совершённый им самим.

17 Удостоверься, что с иноземцами и сиротами обращаются справедливо; не бери у вдовы в залог её одежду.

18 Помни, что вы были рабами в Египте и Господь, Бог твой, увёл вас оттуда и освободил, поэтому я и тебе велю так поступать с бедными.

19 Если, собирая урожай в поле, ты по забывчивости оставишь там часть зерна, не возвращайся за ним, пусть оно будет оставлено для иноземцев, сирот и вдов, чтобы Господь, Бог твой, благословил тебя во всём, что ты делаешь.

20 Когда будешь стряхивать плоды со своих деревьев, не возвращайся, чтобы проверить, осталось ли ещё что на ветвях, потому что оставшиеся там оливки будут для иноземцев, вдов и сирот.

21 Когда будешь собирать виноград со своего виноградника, не возвращайся за оставшимся виноградом, так как этот виноград будет для иноземцев, вдов и сирот.

22 Помни, что вы были бедными рабами в Египте, поэтому я и повелеваю тебе делать всё это для бедных».

Chapter 24

1 IF a man takes a wife, and lies with her, and if she finds no favor in his eyes, because he has found some evidence of open prostitution in her; then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it to her, and send her out of his house.

2 And when she has left his house, and if she goes and becomes another man's wife,

3 And if that husband hates her, and writes her a bill of divorcement, and gives it to her, and sends her out of his house, or if that husband who took her to be his wife dies;

4 Then her former husband, who sent her away, has no right to take her again to be his wife, after she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the LORD; and you shall not cause the land to sin, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.

5 When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out with the army, neither shall he be charged with any business; but he shall be free at his home for one year, and shall rejoice with his wife whom he has taken.

6 No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone as a pledge; for he takes a man's life to pledge.

7 If a man of the children of Israel is found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, to make merchandise of him, or sell him; then that thief shall surely die; and you shall put evil away from among you.

8 Take heed in the plague of leprosy, and be exceedingly careful, and do according to all that the priests and the Levites shall teach you; as I commanded them, so you shall be careful to do.

9 Remember what the LORD your God did to Miriam on the way, after you came forth out of Egypt.

10 If your neighbor owes you a debt, you shall not go into his house to fetch his pledge.

11 But you shall wait in the street, and the man who is your debtor shall bring out the pledge to you.

12 And if the man is poor, you shall not sleep with his mantle.

13 But you shall return to him his mantle again when the sun goes down, that he may sleep in his own mantle, and bless you; and it shall be righteousness to you before the LORD your God.

14 You shall not cheat the wages of a hired laborer who is poor and needy, whether he is of your brethren or of the strangers who are in your cities;

15 But you shall pay him his wages on the same day, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and it is because of his wages that he places himself at your disposal; lest he cry against you to the LORD, and it be sin against you.

16 The fathers shall not be put to death for their children, neither shall the children be put to death for their fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

17 You shall not pervert the justice due to the stranger, nor to the orphan; nor take a widow's garment as a pledge;

18 But you shall remember that you were a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD your God delivered you from there; therefore I command you to do this thing:

19 When you reap the harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not return to fetch it; it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the works of your hands.

20 When you beat your olive trees, you shall not go over the boughs again; it shall be for the stranger, for the orphan, and for the widow.

21 When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not glean it afterward; it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

22 And you shall remember that you were a bondman in Egypt; therefore I command you to do this thing.

Не свершай такого греха на земле, которую Господь, Бог твой, даёт тебе.

3 And if that husband hates her, and writes her a bill of divorcement, and gives it to her, and sends her out of his house, or if that husband who took her to be his wife dies;

4 Then her former husband, who sent her away, has no right to take her again to be his wife, after she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the LORD; and you shall not cause the land to sin, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.

5 Того, кто недавно женился, пусть не посылают в армию и пусть не дают ему никакой особой работы; пусть он целый год остаётся дома на радость своей жене.

5 When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out with the army, neither shall he be charged with any business; but he shall be free at his home for one year, and shall rejoice with his wife whom he has taken.

6 Когда даёшь кому-либо в долг, не бери у него в залог жернова, которыми он мелет муку, так как это равносильно тому, что ты отобрал у него еду.

6 No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone as a pledge; for he takes a man's life to pledge.

7 Если один израильтянин похитил другого из своего народа и если похититель продал того человека в рабство, то похититель должен быть убит. Избавь свой род от этого зла.

7 If a man of the children of Israel is found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, to make merchandise of him, or sell him; then that thief shall surely die; and you shall put evil away from among you.

8 Если ты болен проказой, тщательно исполняй всё, чему учат левиты,

9 Remember what the LORD your God did to Miriam on the way, after you came forth out of Egypt.

10 Если даёшь кому-то в долг, не заходи к нему в дом за залогом,

13 But you shall return to him his mantle again when the sun goes down, that he may sleep in his own mantle, and bless you; and it shall be righteousness to you before the LORD your God.

14 Не обманывай наёмного работника, бедного и нуждающегося, будь то израильтянин или иноземец, живущий в одном из твоих городов.

14 You shall not cheat the wages of a hired laborer who is poor and needy, whether he is of your brethren or of the strangers who are in your cities;

15 Отдавай ему плату каждый день перед заходом солнца, потому что он беден и рассчитывает на эти деньги. Если не заплатишь ему, он пожалуется на тебя Господу, и ты будешь повинен в грехе.

15 But you shall pay him his wages on the same day, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and it is because of his wages that he places himself at your disposal; lest he cry against you to the LORD, and it be sin against you.

16 Не наказывай смертью родителей за проступки их детей, не наказывай смертью детей за проступки их родителей. Наказывай смертью человека только за проступок, совершённый им самим.

17 Удостоверься, что с иноземцами и сиротами обращаются справедливо; не бери у вдовы в залог её одежду.

19 Если, собирая урожай в поле, ты по забывчивости оставишь там часть зерна, не возвращайся за ним, пусть оно будет оставлено для иноземцев, сирот и вдов, чтобы Господь, Бог твой, благословил тебя во всём, что ты делаешь.
