Глава 18

1 «Колено Левия не получило надела земли в Израиле, потому что эти люди будут служить священниками. Они будут питаться жертвами, приготовленными на огне в приношение Господу. Это и будет доля колена левитов.

2 Левиты не получат надела земли, как и другие колена, потому что их удел — Сам Господь, как Он и говорил им.

3 Заколов быка, корову или овцу, чтобы принести жертву, отдай священнику вот какие части: плечо, щёки и желудок.

4 Отдавай священнику также первый сбор урожая: первое зерно, первое молодое вино и первое оливковое масло, и отдавай левитам первый настриг шерсти с овцы,

5 потому что Господь, Бог твой, посмотрев на все колена, избрал Левия и его потомков служить Ему во веки веков.

6 Всякий левит, живущий в одном из городов Израиля, в любое время может уйти из своего дома и прийти на святое место Господнее, если захочет.

7 Этот левит может служить во имя Господа, Бога своего, как и все его братья, служащие перед Господом,

8 и получит равную со всеми остальными левитами долю сверх той, которую обычно получает его семья».

9 «Когда придёшь на землю, которую Господь, Бог твой, даёт тебе, не учись у других народов делать мерзости, которые они творят:

10 не приноси в жертву на огне своего алтаря ни сыновей, ни дочерей своих, не пытайся узнать о будущем, расспрашивая прорицателя, и не ходи к волшебнику, колдунье или колдуну.

11 Не позволяй никому колдовать на другого, не допускай, чтобы кто-то из твоего народа вызывал духов или сделался волшебником, и пусть никто не пытается говорить с умершими.

12 Господу, Богу твоему, ненавистны те, кто делает такое, потому Он и изгоняет ради тебя другие народы из этой страны.

13 Будь верен Господу, Богу своему!»

14 «Изгони из своей земли другие народы, которые слушают волшебников и прорицателей; Господь, Бог твой, не позволяет тебе делать то, что делают они.

15 Господь, Бог твой, пошлёт тебе пророка подобного мне, который будет родом из твоего собственного народа. Ты должен слушать того пророка.

16 Бог пошлёт тебе его, так как ты просил Бога об этом. Когда вы собрались все вместе на горе Хорив и сказали: „Да не услышим мы никогда впредь голос Господний! Да не увидим мы никогда впредь этот великий огонь, чтобы нам не умереть!”

17 Господь сказал мне: „Хорошо, что они просят об этом.

18 Я пошлю им пророка, такого, как ты, он будет одним из них, и Я скажу ему, что говорить, и он скажет народу всё, что Я повелю.

19 Этот пророк будет говорить за Меня, и, если кто-либо ослушается Моих заповедей, Я накажу того человека”.

20 И если случится, что пророк скажет от Моего имени что-нибудь, что Я не велел ему говорить, он должен быть убит. А если появится пророк, говорящий от имени других богов, то пророк этот тоже должен быть убит.

21 Ты можешь подумать: „Откуда мне знать от Господа ли то, что говорит пророк?”

22 Если пророк скажет, что говорит от имени Господа, но сказанное им не исполнится, то знай, что Господь не говорил этого, знай, что пророк говорит от себя самого, не бойся его».

Chapter 18

1 THE priests and the Levites, shall have neither portion nor inheritance among the children of Israel; but they shall eat sacrifices offered to the LORD, and his inheritance.

2 Therefore they shall have no inheritance among their brethren; the LORD is their inheritance, as he has said to them.

3 And this shall be the priest's due from the people: from those who offer a sacrifice, whether it be an ox or a lamb, they shall give to the priest the shoulder and the two cheeks and the maw.

4 The first fruits also of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, you shall give him.

5 For the LORD your God has chosen him out of all your tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD your God, him and his sons for ever.

6 And if a Levite come from any of the towns of your brethren out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his soul to the place which the LORD shall choose;

7 Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as do all his brethren the Levites, who stand there before the LORD.

8 They shall have equal portion to eat, besides that which comes of the sale of his patrimony.

9 When you come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

10 There shall not be found among you any one who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or who practices divination or black magic, or is an enchanter or a witch

11 Or a charmer or a consulter with familiar spirits or a sorcerer or a necromancer.

12 For whoever does these things is an abomination in the sight of the LORD your God; and because of these abominations the LORD your God is destroying them from before you.

13 You shall be innocent before the LORD your God.

14 For these nations which you are to possess hearken to men with familiar spirits and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do so.

15 The LORD your God will raise up to you a prophet like me from the midst of you, of your brethren; to him you shall hearken.

16 Just as you asked of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear any more the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

17 And the LORD said to me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.

19 Whosoever will not hearken to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

20 But the prophet who shall presume to speak a word in my name which I have not commanded him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall be put to death.

21 And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?

22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, and the thing does not come to pass, nor follow; that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

1 «Колено Левия не получило надела земли в Израиле, потому что эти люди будут служить священниками. Они будут питаться жертвами, приготовленными на огне в приношение Господу. Это и будет доля колена левитов.

1 THE priests and the Levites, shall have neither portion nor inheritance among the children of Israel; but they shall eat sacrifices offered to the LORD, and his inheritance.

2 Левиты не получат надела земли, как и другие колена, потому что их удел — Сам Господь, как Он и говорил им.

2 Therefore they shall have no inheritance among their brethren; the LORD is their inheritance, as he has said to them.

3 Заколов быка, корову или овцу, чтобы принести жертву, отдай священнику вот какие части: плечо, щёки и желудок.

3 And this shall be the priest's due from the people: from those who offer a sacrifice, whether it be an ox or a lamb, they shall give to the priest the shoulder and the two cheeks and the maw.

4 Отдавай священнику также первый сбор урожая: первое зерно, первое молодое вино и первое оливковое масло, и отдавай левитам первый настриг шерсти с овцы,

4 The first fruits also of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, you shall give him.

5 потому что Господь, Бог твой, посмотрев на все колена, избрал Левия и его потомков служить Ему во веки веков.

5 For the LORD your God has chosen him out of all your tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD your God, him and his sons for ever.

6 Всякий левит, живущий в одном из городов Израиля, в любое время может уйти из своего дома и прийти на святое место Господнее, если захочет.

6 And if a Levite come from any of the towns of your brethren out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his soul to the place which the LORD shall choose;

7 Этот левит может служить во имя Господа, Бога своего, как и все его братья, служащие перед Господом,

7 Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as do all his brethren the Levites, who stand there before the LORD.

8 и получит равную со всеми остальными левитами долю сверх той, которую обычно получает его семья».

8 They shall have equal portion to eat, besides that which comes of the sale of his patrimony.

9 «Когда придёшь на землю, которую Господь, Бог твой, даёт тебе, не учись у других народов делать мерзости, которые они творят:

9 When you come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

10 не приноси в жертву на огне своего алтаря ни сыновей, ни дочерей своих, не пытайся узнать о будущем, расспрашивая прорицателя, и не ходи к волшебнику, колдунье или колдуну.

10 There shall not be found among you any one who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or who practices divination or black magic, or is an enchanter or a witch

11 Не позволяй никому колдовать на другого, не допускай, чтобы кто-то из твоего народа вызывал духов или сделался волшебником, и пусть никто не пытается говорить с умершими.

11 Or a charmer or a consulter with familiar spirits or a sorcerer or a necromancer.

12 Господу, Богу твоему, ненавистны те, кто делает такое, потому Он и изгоняет ради тебя другие народы из этой страны.

12 For whoever does these things is an abomination in the sight of the LORD your God; and because of these abominations the LORD your God is destroying them from before you.

13 Будь верен Господу, Богу своему!»

13 You shall be innocent before the LORD your God.

14 «Изгони из своей земли другие народы, которые слушают волшебников и прорицателей; Господь, Бог твой, не позволяет тебе делать то, что делают они.

14 For these nations which you are to possess hearken to men with familiar spirits and diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do so.

15 Господь, Бог твой, пошлёт тебе пророка подобного мне, который будет родом из твоего собственного народа. Ты должен слушать того пророка.

15 The LORD your God will raise up to you a prophet like me from the midst of you, of your brethren; to him you shall hearken.

16 Бог пошлёт тебе его, так как ты просил Бога об этом. Когда вы собрались все вместе на горе Хорив и сказали: „Да не услышим мы никогда впредь голос Господний! Да не увидим мы никогда впредь этот великий огонь, чтобы нам не умереть!”

16 Just as you asked of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear any more the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

17 Господь сказал мне: „Хорошо, что они просят об этом.

17 And the LORD said to me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

18 Я пошлю им пророка, такого, как ты, он будет одним из них, и Я скажу ему, что говорить, и он скажет народу всё, что Я повелю.

18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.

19 Этот пророк будет говорить за Меня, и, если кто-либо ослушается Моих заповедей, Я накажу того человека”.

19 Whosoever will not hearken to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

20 И если случится, что пророк скажет от Моего имени что-нибудь, что Я не велел ему говорить, он должен быть убит. А если появится пророк, говорящий от имени других богов, то пророк этот тоже должен быть убит.

20 But the prophet who shall presume to speak a word in my name which I have not commanded him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall be put to death.

21 Ты можешь подумать: „Откуда мне знать от Господа ли то, что говорит пророк?”

21 And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?

22 Если пророк скажет, что говорит от имени Господа, но сказанное им не исполнится, то знай, что Господь не говорил этого, знай, что пророк говорит от себя самого, не бойся его».

22 When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, and the thing does not come to pass, nor follow; that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.
