1 Господь сказал Моисею:

2 — Посвяти Мне каждого первенца, что родится у детей Израиля, — первый плод материнского чрева, — от человека до скота.

3 Моисей сказал народу: — Помните день, когда вы вышли из Египта, из земли рабства, потому что Господь вывел вас оттуда крепкой рукой, и не ешьте дрожжевого хлеба.

4 Сегодня, в месяце авив, вы уходите.

5 Господь клялся вашим отцам, что отдаст вам землю хананеев, хеттов, аморреев, иевусеев и хиввеев, землю, где течет молоко и мед. Когда Он приведет вас туда, соблюдайте в этом месяце такой обычай:

6 семь дней ешьте хлеб, приготовленный без закваски, а на седьмой день устраивайте праздник Господу.

7 Семь дней ешьте пресный хлеб. У вас не должно быть ничего квасного; в ваших землях не должно находиться никакой закваски.

8 В тот день пусть каждый скажет своему сыну: «Я поступаю так в память о том, что Господь сделал для меня, когда я вышел из Египта».

9 Этот обычай будет вам как знак на руке, как памятка на лбу о том, что Закон Господа должен быть у вас на устах. Ведь Господь вывел вас из Египта могучей рукой.

10 Соблюдайте этот обычай в назначенное время из года в год.

11 — После того как Господь введет вас в землю хананеев и отдаст ее вам, как Он клялся вам и вашим отцам,

12 посвящайте Господу всех первенцев. Каждый первенец мужского пола из вашего скота принадлежит Господу.

13 За первородного ослика принесите выкуп — ягненка, а если не выкупите, то сверните ослику шею. За всех своих первенцев отдавайте выкуп.

14 В будущем, когда сын спросит у тебя: «Что это значит?» — скажи ему: «Господь могучей рукой вывел нас из Египта, из земли рабства.

15 Когда сердцем фараона завладело упрямство, и он не хотел отпускать нас, Господь погубил в Египте всех первенцев мужского пола: и людей, и животных. Вот почему я приношу в жертву Господу всех первенцев мужского пола, а за своих первенцев отдаю выкуп».

16 Это будет как знак у тебя на руке, как свидетельство на лбу, что Господь могучей рукой вывел нас из Египта.

17 Когда фараон отпустил народ, Бог не повел их через землю филистимлян, хотя так было ближе. Бог сказал: — Вступив в войну, они могут передумать и вернуться в Египет.

18 Бог повел народ в обход, пустынной дорогой к Красному морю. Израильтяне ушли из Египта, вооруженные для битвы.

19 Моисей взял с собой останки Иосифа, потому что Иосиф в свое время взял с сыновей Израиля клятву, сказав: — Бог непременно придет к вам на помощь. Возьмите тогда отсюда с собой мои останки.

20 Оставив Суккот, они расположились лагерем в Етаме, на краю пустыни.

21 Днем Господь шел впереди них в облачном столбе, указывая им путь, а ночью — в огненном столбе, чтобы давать им свет, поэтому так они могли передвигаться и днем, и ночью.

22 Ни облачный столб днем, ни огненный столб ночью ни разу не отошли от народа.

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Sanctify to me every first-born that opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of men and of animals; for they are mine.

3 And Moses said to the people, Remember this day in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by a strong hand the LORD brought you out from this place; there shall no leavened bread be eaten on this day.

4 In this day you are going forth in the month of Abib.

5 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, the Jebusites, and the Perizzites, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, therefore you shall keep this service in this month.

6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a festival to the LORD.

7 Unleavened bread shall you eat for seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with you throughout all your territory.

8 And you shall tell your son on that day, This is done because of what my God did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.

9 And it shall be to you for a sign. a token of remembrance upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, so that the law of the LORD may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand has the LORD brought you out of Egypt.

10 You must therefore keep this ordinance and this law at its appointed time from year to year.

11 And it shall be when the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, as he swore to you and to your fathers, and shall give it to you,

12 You shall set apart to the LORD every first-born that opens the womb and every firstling that comes of the animals that you have; the males shall be the LORD'S.

13 And every firstling male of the cattle you shall redeem with a lamb; but if you do not wish to redeem it, then you must kill it: and every first-born of men among your sons you shall redeem.

14 And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What is this? You shall say to him, By a strong hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt from the house of bondage;

15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn, and would not let us go, the LORD slew all the first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of man to the first-born of animals; that is why I sacrifice to the LORD all that open the womb, being males; but all the first-born of my sons I redeem.

16 And it shall be as a token on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes; for by a strong hand the LORD brought you out of Egypt.

17 land it came to pass when Pharaoh had let the people go, God did not lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest the people be afraid when they see war, and return to Egypt:

18 But God led the people by the way of the wilderness by the Red Sea; and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.

19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him; for he had solemnly made the children of Israel to swear, saying, God will surely remember you; and you must carry up my bones from here with you.

20 And they journeyed from Succoth and encamped at Etham, on the edge of the wilderness.

21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them on the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; so that they might travel by day and by night;

22 The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night never failed to go before the people.

3 And Moses said to the people, Remember this day in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by a strong hand the LORD brought you out from this place; there shall no leavened bread be eaten on this day.

4 Сегодня, в месяце авив, вы уходите.

4 In this day you are going forth in the month of Abib.

5 Господь клялся вашим отцам, что отдаст вам землю хананеев, хеттов, аморреев, иевусеев и хиввеев, землю, где течет молоко и мед. Когда Он приведет вас туда, соблюдайте в этом месяце такой обычай:

5 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, the Jebusites, and the Perizzites, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, therefore you shall keep this service in this month.

6 семь дней ешьте хлеб, приготовленный без закваски, а на седьмой день устраивайте праздник Господу.

6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a festival to the LORD.

7 Семь дней ешьте пресный хлеб. У вас не должно быть ничего квасного; в ваших землях не должно находиться никакой закваски.

7 Unleavened bread shall you eat for seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with you throughout all your territory.

8 В тот день пусть каждый скажет своему сыну: «Я поступаю так в память о том, что Господь сделал для меня, когда я вышел из Египта».

8 And you shall tell your son on that day, This is done because of what my God did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.

9 Этот обычай будет вам как знак на руке, как памятка на лбу о том, что Закон Господа должен быть у вас на устах. Ведь Господь вывел вас из Египта могучей рукой.

9 And it shall be to you for a sign. a token of remembrance upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, so that the law of the LORD may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand has the LORD brought you out of Egypt.

10 Соблюдайте этот обычай в назначенное время из года в год.

10 You must therefore keep this ordinance and this law at its appointed time from year to year.

11 — После того как Господь введет вас в землю хананеев и отдаст ее вам, как Он клялся вам и вашим отцам,

11 And it shall be when the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, as he swore to you and to your fathers, and shall give it to you,

12 посвящайте Господу всех первенцев. Каждый первенец мужского пола из вашего скота принадлежит Господу.

12 You shall set apart to the LORD every first-born that opens the womb and every firstling that comes of the animals that you have; the males shall be the LORD'S.

13 За первородного ослика принесите выкуп — ягненка, а если не выкупите, то сверните ослику шею. За всех своих первенцев отдавайте выкуп.

13 And every firstling male of the cattle you shall redeem with a lamb; but if you do not wish to redeem it, then you must kill it: and every first-born of men among your sons you shall redeem.

14 В будущем, когда сын спросит у тебя: «Что это значит?» — скажи ему: «Господь могучей рукой вывел нас из Египта, из земли рабства.

14 And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What is this? You shall say to him, By a strong hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt from the house of bondage;

15 Когда сердцем фараона завладело упрямство, и он не хотел отпускать нас, Господь погубил в Египте всех первенцев мужского пола: и людей, и животных. Вот почему я приношу в жертву Господу всех первенцев мужского пола, а за своих первенцев отдаю выкуп».

15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn, and would not let us go, the LORD slew all the first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of man to the first-born of animals; that is why I sacrifice to the LORD all that open the womb, being males; but all the first-born of my sons I redeem.

16 Это будет как знак у тебя на руке, как свидетельство на лбу, что Господь могучей рукой вывел нас из Египта.

16 And it shall be as a token on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes; for by a strong hand the LORD brought you out of Egypt.

17 Когда фараон отпустил народ, Бог не повел их через землю филистимлян, хотя так было ближе. Бог сказал: — Вступив в войну, они могут передумать и вернуться в Египет.

17 land it came to pass when Pharaoh had let the people go, God did not lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest the people be afraid when they see war, and return to Egypt:

18 Бог повел народ в обход, пустынной дорогой к Красному морю. Израильтяне ушли из Египта, вооруженные для битвы.

18 But God led the people by the way of the wilderness by the Red Sea; and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.

19 Моисей взял с собой останки Иосифа, потому что Иосиф в свое время взял с сыновей Израиля клятву, сказав: — Бог непременно придет к вам на помощь. Возьмите тогда отсюда с собой мои останки.

19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him; for he had solemnly made the children of Israel to swear, saying, God will surely remember you; and you must carry up my bones from here with you.
