1 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 to Moses,4872 saying,559

2 Sanctify6942 to me all3605 the firstborn,1060 whatever3605 opens6363 the womb7358 among the children1121 of Israel,3478 both of man120 and of beast:929 it is mine.

3 And Moses4872 said559 to the people,5971 Remember2142 this2088 day,3117 in which834 you came3318 out from Egypt,4714 out of the house1004 of bondage;5650 for by strength2392 of hand3027 the LORD3068 brought3318 you out from this2088 place: there shall no3808 leavened2557 bread be eaten.398

4 This day3117 came3318 you out in the month2320 Abib.24

5 And it shall be when3588 the LORD3068 shall bring935 you into413 the land776 of the Canaanites,3669 and the Hittites,2850 and the Amorites,567 and the Hivites,2340 and the Jebusites,2983 which834 he swore7650 to your fathers1 to give5414 you, a land776 flowing2100 with milk2461 and honey,1706 that you shall keep5647 this2088 service5656 in this2088 month.2320

6 Seven7651 days3117 you shall eat398 unleavened4682 bread, and in the seventh7637 day3117 shall be a feast2282 to the LORD.3068

7 Unleavened4682 bread shall be eaten398 seven7651 days;3117 and there shall no3808 leavened2557 bread be seen7200 with you, neither3808 shall there be leaven7603 seen7200 with you in all3605 your quarters.1366

8 And you shall show5046 your son1121 in that day,3117 saying,559 This is done because5668 of that which the LORD3068 did6213 to me when I came3318 forth3318 out of Egypt.4714

9 And it shall be for a sign226 to you on your hand,3027 and for a memorial2146 between996 your eyes,5869 that the LORD's3068 law8451 may be in your mouth:6310 for with a strong2389 hand3027 has the LORD3068 brought3318 you out of Egypt.4714

10 You shall therefore keep8104 this2063 ordinance2708 in his season4150 from year3117 to year.3117

11 And it shall be when3588 the LORD3068 shall bring935 you into413 the land776 of the Canaanites,3669 as he swore7650 to you and to your fathers,1 and shall give5414 it you,

12 That you shall set apart5674 to the LORD3068 all3605 that opens6363 the matrix,7358 and every3605 firstling6363 that comes7698 of a beast929 which834 you have;1961 the males2145 shall be the LORD's.3068

13 And every3605 firstling6363 of an ass2543 you shall redeem6299 with a lamb;7716 and if518 you will not redeem6299 it, then you shall break6202 his neck:6203 and all3605 the firstborn1060 of man120 among your children1121 shall you redeem.6299

14 And it shall be when3588 your son1121 asks7592 you in time4279 to come,4279 saying,559 What4100 is this?2063 that you shall say559 to him, By strength2392 of hand3027 the LORD3068 brought3318 us out from Egypt,4714 from the house1004 of bondage:5650

15 And it came1961 to pass, when3588 Pharaoh6547 would hardly7185 let us go,7971 that the LORD3068 slew2026 all3605 the firstborn1060 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 both the firstborn1060 of man,120 and the firstborn1060 of beast:929 therefore5921 3651 I sacrifice2076 to the LORD3068 all3605 that opens6363 the matrix,7358 being males;2145 but all3605 the firstborn1060 of my children1121 I redeem.6299

16 And it shall be for a token226 on your hand,3027 and for frontlets2903 between996 your eyes:5869 for by strength2392 of hand3027 the LORD3068 brought3318 us forth3318 out of Egypt.4714

17 And it came1961 to pass, when Pharaoh6547 had let the people5971 go,7971 that God430 led5148 them not through the way1870 of the land776 of the Philistines,6430 although3588 that was near;7138 for God430 said,559 Lest6435 peradventure the people5971 repent5162 when they see7200 war,4421 and they return7725 to Egypt:4714

18 But God430 led5437 the people5971 about,5437 through the way1870 of the wilderness4057 of the Red5488 sea:3220 and the children1121 of Israel3478 went5927 up harnessed2571 out of the land776 of Egypt.4714

19 And Moses4872 took3947 the bones6106 of Joseph3130 with him: for he had straightly sworn7650 the children1121 of Israel,3478 saying,559 God430 will surely visit6485 you; and you shall carry5927 up my bones6106 away hence2088 with you.

20 And they took their journey5265 from Succoth,5523 and encamped2583 in Etham,864 in the edge7097 of the wilderness.4057

21 And the LORD3068 went1980 before6440 them by day3119 in a pillar5982 of a cloud,6051 to lead5148 them the way;1870 and by night3915 in a pillar5982 of fire,784 to give them light;216 to go3212 by day3119 and night:3915

22 He took4185 not away the pillar5982 of the cloud6051 by day,3119 nor the pillar5982 of fire784 by night,3915 from before6440 the people.5971

3 «Запомните этот день, — сказал Моисей народу. — Вы были рабами в Египте, но в этот день Господь Своей великой силой освободил вас. Не ешьте хлеба с закваской.

4 Сегодня, в месяце авиве, вы уходите из Египта.

5 Господь дал вашим предкам особое обещание, обещал отдать вам землю хананеев, хеттеев, аморреев, еввеев и иевусеев. Когда Бог приведёт вас в землю, изобилующую всяким добром, помните этот день. Этот день в первом месяце года должен быть для вас особым днём — днём поклонения.

6 В течение семи дней вы должны есть только пресный хлеб, а на седьмой день должны устраивать великий праздник — праздник в честь Господа.

7 Итак, в течение семи дней вы не должны есть хлеб, в котором есть закваска. В вашей земле нигде не должно быть хлеба, замешенного на дрожжах.

8 В этот день вы должны говорить своим детям: „Мы соблюдаем этот праздник, потому что Господь вывел нас из Египта”.

9 Этот праздник поможет вам помнить — он будет словно тесьма, повязанная на руку, словно знамение перед твоим взором. Этот праздник поможет тебе помнить учение Господа, поможет тебе помнить те события, когда Господь Своей великой силой вывел тебя из Египта.

10 Так вспоминай же об этом празднике в назначенное время каждый год.

11 Господь приведёт тебя в землю, которую обещал тебе дать. Сейчас там живут хананеи, но Бог обещал твоим предкам, что отдаст эту землю тебе. И после того как Бог отдаст тебе эту землю,

12 помни, что ты должен отдать Господу каждого мальчика-первенца и каждую перворождённую скотину из приплода.

13 Каждого перворождённого ослёнка можно выкупить у Господа. Ты можешь отдать ягнёнка и оставить себе ослёнка. Если же не хочешь выкупить ослёнка у Господа, то убей его, это будет жертвоприношение — ты должен сломать ему шею. Каждого мальчика-первенца ты должен выкупить у Господа.

14 В будущем твои дети спросят, зачем ты делаешь это. „Что всё это значит?” — спросят они, и ты ответишь: „Господь Своей великой силой вывел нас из Египта. Мы были там рабами, но Господь спас нас и привёл сюда.

15 Фараон в Египте упорствовал и отказывался отпустить нас, но Господь убил всех первенцев в той земле, убил весь перворождённый скот и всех сыновей-первенцев. Потому я и отдаю Господу каждое перворождённое животное мужского пола и тем выкупаю у Господа моих первенцев сыновей”.

16 Это будет тесьмой, повязанной тебе на руку, знамением перед взором твоим, чтобы помнить, что Господь вывел нас из Египта Своей великой силой».

17 Когда фараон отпустил народ из Египта, Господь не дал им пойти по дороге, ведущей в землю филистимлян по берегу Средиземного моря, хотя это и был самый короткий путь. Господь сказал: «Если израильтяне пойдут по этой дороге, им придётся воевать и тогда они могут передумать и возвратиться в Египет».

18 Поэтому Господь повёл их другой дорогой, через пустыню у Красного моря. Израильский народ был облачён в военные доспехи, когда выходил из Египетской земли.

19 Моисей нёс с собой останки Иосифа, так как Иосиф, умирая, взял с сынов Израиля обещание сделать это для него. «Когда Бог спасёт вас, — сказал Иосиф, — не забудьте унести с собой из Египта и мои кости».

20 Выйдя из Сокхофа, израильский народ остановился в Ефаме, вблизи пустыни.

21 Господь же шёл перед ними, днём — в облачном столбе, указывая путь, а ночью — в огненном столбе, чтобы при свете этого огня они могли продолжать путь ночью.

22 Облачный столб был с ними весь день, а огненный столб — всю ночь.

7 Unleavened4682 bread shall be eaten398 seven7651 days;3117 and there shall no3808 leavened2557 bread be seen7200 with you, neither3808 shall there be leaven7603 seen7200 with you in all3605 your quarters.1366

7 Итак, в течение семи дней вы не должны есть хлеб, в котором есть закваска. В вашей земле нигде не должно быть хлеба, замешенного на дрожжах.

9 Этот праздник поможет вам помнить — он будет словно тесьма, повязанная на руку, словно знамение перед твоим взором. Этот праздник поможет тебе помнить учение Господа, поможет тебе помнить те события, когда Господь Своей великой силой вывел тебя из Египта.

10 Так вспоминай же об этом празднике в назначенное время каждый год.

11 And it shall be when3588 the LORD3068 shall bring935 you into413 the land776 of the Canaanites,3669 as he swore7650 to you and to your fathers,1 and shall give5414 it you,

11 Господь приведёт тебя в землю, которую обещал тебе дать. Сейчас там живут хананеи, но Бог обещал твоим предкам, что отдаст эту землю тебе. И после того как Бог отдаст тебе эту землю,

12 помни, что ты должен отдать Господу каждого мальчика-первенца и каждую перворождённую скотину из приплода.

13 Каждого перворождённого ослёнка можно выкупить у Господа. Ты можешь отдать ягнёнка и оставить себе ослёнка. Если же не хочешь выкупить ослёнка у Господа, то убей его, это будет жертвоприношение — ты должен сломать ему шею. Каждого мальчика-первенца ты должен выкупить у Господа.

14 В будущем твои дети спросят, зачем ты делаешь это. „Что всё это значит?” — спросят они, и ты ответишь: „Господь Своей великой силой вывел нас из Египта. Мы были там рабами, но Господь спас нас и привёл сюда.

18 Поэтому Господь повёл их другой дорогой, через пустыню у Красного моря. Израильский народ был облачён в военные доспехи, когда выходил из Египетской земли.
