Глава 35

1 Было ко мне слово Господа:

2 — Сын человеческий, обрати лицо к горе Сеир ; пророчествуй против нее

3 и скажи: «Так говорит Владыка Господь: Я твой противник, гора Сеир. Я простру над тобой руку и предам тебя полному опустошению.

4 Я превращу твои города в руины, и ты станешь необитаемой. Тогда ты узнаешь, что Я — Господь.

5 За то, что ты питала вечную вражду и предавала израильтян мечу во время их беды, когда пробил час их наказания,

6 за это, верно, как и то, что Я живу, — возвещает Владыка Господь, — Я предам тебя кровопролитию, и оно будет преследовать тебя. Так как ты не возненавидела кровопролитие, оно будет тебя преследовать.

7 Я предам гору Сеир полному опустошению и погублю на ней всех, кто уходит и возвращается.

8 Я покрою твои вершины павшими; сраженные мечом будут падать на твоих холмах, в долинах и во всех ущельях.

9 Я предам тебя вечному опустошению; твои города больше не будут заселены. Тогда ты узнаешь, что Я — Господь.

10 За то, что ты сказала: „Оба этих народа и обе эти страны будут моими; я завладею ими“, хотя с ними был Господь,

11 верно, как и то, что Я живу, — возвещает Владыка Господь, — Я поступлю с тобой по злобе и зависти, которые ты выказала, враждуя с ними, и явлю Себя им, когда стану тебя судить.

12 Тогда ты узнаешь, что Я, Господь, услышал все оскорбления, которые ты слала горам Израиля. Ты говорила: „Они опустошены и отданы мне на съедение!“

13 Ты хвасталась предо Мной и говорила против Меня, не сдерживаясь, и Я это услышал.

14 Так говорит Владыка Господь: Когда вся земля будет радоваться, Я предам тебя опустошению.

15 За то, что ты радовалась опустошению наследия дома Израиля, Я поступлю с тобой точно так же. Ты будешь опустошена, гора Сеир, и с тобой — весь Эдом. Тогда узнают, что Я — Господь».

Chapter 35

1 MOREOVER the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2 Son of man, set your face against mount Seir and prophesy against it,

3 And say to it, Thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, O mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you desolate and waste.

4 And I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate, and you shall know that I am the LORD.

5 Because you have had a perpetual enmity and delivered the children of Israel over to the sword at the time of their calamity, at the time when their iniquity had come to an end,

6 Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will deliver you to the slaughter, and blood shall pursue you; the blood which you have hated, that very blood shall pursue you.

7 I will make mount Seir waste and desolate, and destroy from it him that goes out and him that comes in.

8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain; on your crags and on your hills and in your valleys shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

9 I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities shall not be inhabited; and you shall know that I am the LORD.

10 Because you have said, These two nations and these two kingdoms are mine, and we will possess them, though the LORD was there;

11 Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will do to you according to your own anger and according to your enmity which you showed toward them, and hatred to them; and I will make myself known among them when I have judged you.

12 And you shall know that I am the LORD and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

13 Thus you dared to speak against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me; I heard them.

14 Thus says the LORD God to mount Seir which is situated at the happiest place on the earth: I will make you desolate.

15 As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so will I do to you; you shall be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

1 Было ко мне слово Господа:

2 Son of man, set your face against mount Seir and prophesy against it,

3 и скажи: «Так говорит Владыка Господь: Я твой противник, гора Сеир. Я простру над тобой руку и предам тебя полному опустошению.

3 And say to it, Thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, O mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you desolate and waste.

4 Я превращу твои города в руины, и ты станешь необитаемой. Тогда ты узнаешь, что Я — Господь.

4 And I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate, and you shall know that I am the LORD.

5 За то, что ты питала вечную вражду и предавала израильтян мечу во время их беды, когда пробил час их наказания,

5 Because you have had a perpetual enmity and delivered the children of Israel over to the sword at the time of their calamity, at the time when their iniquity had come to an end,

6 за это, верно, как и то, что Я живу, — возвещает Владыка Господь, — Я предам тебя кровопролитию, и оно будет преследовать тебя. Так как ты не возненавидела кровопролитие, оно будет тебя преследовать.

6 Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will deliver you to the slaughter, and blood shall pursue you; the blood which you have hated, that very blood shall pursue you.

7 Я предам гору Сеир полному опустошению и погублю на ней всех, кто уходит и возвращается.

7 I will make mount Seir waste and desolate, and destroy from it him that goes out and him that comes in.

8 Я покрою твои вершины павшими; сраженные мечом будут падать на твоих холмах, в долинах и во всех ущельях.

8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain; on your crags and on your hills and in your valleys shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

9 Я предам тебя вечному опустошению; твои города больше не будут заселены. Тогда ты узнаешь, что Я — Господь.

9 I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities shall not be inhabited; and you shall know that I am the LORD.

10 За то, что ты сказала: „Оба этих народа и обе эти страны будут моими; я завладею ими“, хотя с ними был Господь,

10 Because you have said, These two nations and these two kingdoms are mine, and we will possess them, though the LORD was there;

11 верно, как и то, что Я живу, — возвещает Владыка Господь, — Я поступлю с тобой по злобе и зависти, которые ты выказала, враждуя с ними, и явлю Себя им, когда стану тебя судить.

11 Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will do to you according to your own anger and according to your enmity which you showed toward them, and hatred to them; and I will make myself known among them when I have judged you.

12 Тогда ты узнаешь, что Я, Господь, услышал все оскорбления, которые ты слала горам Израиля. Ты говорила: „Они опустошены и отданы мне на съедение!“

12 And you shall know that I am the LORD and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

13 Ты хвасталась предо Мной и говорила против Меня, не сдерживаясь, и Я это услышал.

13 Thus you dared to speak against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me; I heard them.

14 Так говорит Владыка Господь: Когда вся земля будет радоваться, Я предам тебя опустошению.

14 Thus says the LORD God to mount Seir which is situated at the happiest place on the earth: I will make you desolate.

15 За то, что ты радовалась опустошению наследия дома Израиля, Я поступлю с тобой точно так же. Ты будешь опустошена, гора Сеир, и с тобой — весь Эдом. Тогда узнают, что Я — Господь».

15 As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so will I do to you; you shall be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
