1 И говорил Господь Моисею, и сказал:

2 Объяви Аарону и скажи ему: когда ты будешь ставить лампады, то на передней стороне светильника должны гореть семь лампад.

3 Аарон так и сделал: на передней стороне светильника поставил лампады его, как повелел Господь Моисею.

4 И вот как сделан светильник: чеканный из золота, от стебля его и до цветов чеканный. Как показал Господь Моисею, так и сделал он светильник.

5 И говорил Господь Моисею, и сказал:

6 Возьми Левитов из сынов Израилевых и очисти их.

7 Чтобы очистить их, поступи с ними так: окропи их очистительною водою, и пусть они обреют бритвою все тело свое и вымоют одежды свои, чтоб быть чистыми.

8 И пусть возьмут из крупного скота тельца и хлебное приношение к нему, пшеничную муку, облитую елеем, и другого тельца возьми в жертву за грех.

9 И приведи Левитов пред скинию собрания и собери все общество сынов Израилевых.

10 И приведи Левитов пред Господа, и пусть возложат сыны Израилевы руки свои на Левитов.

11 Аарон же пусть принесет Левитов, потрясая пред Господом, от сынов Израилевых, чтобы они отправляли работы у Господа.

12 А Левиты пусть возложат руки свои на голову тельцов, и принеси одного в жертву за грех, а другого во всесожжение Господу, для очищения Левитов.

13 И поставь Левитов [пред Господом и] пред Аароном и пред сынами его, и принеси их, потрясая пред Господом.

14 И отдели таким образом Левитов от сынов Израилевых, чтобы Левиты были Мои.

15 После сего пойдут Левиты работать при скинии собрания, когда ты очистишь их и принесешь их, потрясая. Поелику они отданы Мне из сынов Израилевых.

16 Вместо всех первенцев из сынов Израилевых, разверзающих все ложесна, Я беру их Себе.

17 Поелику все первенцы у сынов Израилевых, от человека до скота, суть Мои. В тот день, когда Я поразил всех первенцев в земле Египетской, Я освятил их Себе,

18 И взял Левитов вместо всех первенцев у сынов Израилевых.

19 И отдал Левитов Аарону и сынам его из сынов Израилевых, чтобы они отправляли работы за сынов Израилевых при скинии собрания, и служили защитою для сынов Израилевых, чтоб не постигло сынов Израилевых поражение, когда бы сыны Израилевы приступили к святилищу.

20 И сделали так Моисей и Аарон и все общество сынов Израилевых с Левитами: как повелел Господь Моисею о Левитах, так и сделали с ними сыны Израилевы.

21 И очистились Левиты и омыли одежды свои, и принес их Аарон, потрясая пред Господом, и очистил их Аарон, чтоб сделать их чистыми.

22 После сего пришли Левиты отправлять работы свои при скинии собрания пред Аароном и пред сынами его. Как повелел Господь Моисею о Левитах, так и сделали они с ними.

23 И говорил Господь Моисею, и сказал:

24 Вот что предписывается о Левитах: от двадцати пяти лет и выше должны вступать они в службу для работ при скинии собрания.

25 А в пятьдесят лет должны возвращаться из службы от работ, и далее не работать.

26 Тогда могут они служить братьям своим в сбережении вверенного им, а работ не должны работать. Так поступай с Левитами, касательно служения, поручаемого им.

Chapter 8

1 THE LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Speak to Aaron and say to him, When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the candlestick.

3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the seven lamps thereof in front of the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.

4 And the work of the candlestick was of molten gold; from its base to its flower was of cast work; according to the pattern which the LORD had shown to Moses, so he made the candlestick.

5 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

7 And thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: Sprinkle purifying water upon them, and let them shave all the body, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.

8 Then let them take a young bullock with its meal offering, a dish full of fine flour mixed with oil, and another young bullock shall you offer for a sin offering.

9 And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together;

10 Then you shall bring the Levites before the LORD; and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites;

11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering from the children of Israel, that they may perform the service of the LORD.

12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.

13 And you shall make the Levites stand before Aaron and before his sons, and offer them for an offering to the LORD.

14 Thus shall you separate the Levites from among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine.

15 And after that the Levites shall go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall cleanse them, and offer them for an offering before the LORD.

16 For they are wholly given to me as a gift from among the children of Israel; instead of all that open the womb, even instead of the first-born of all the children of Israel, have I taken them to me.

17 For all the first-born of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast; on the day that I smote every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

18 And I have taken the Levites for all the first-born of the children of Israel.

19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation and to make an atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel when they come near to the sanctuary.

20 And Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel did to the Levites according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so did the children of Israel to them.

21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them and cleansed them.

22 And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron and before his sons; as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did unto them the children of Israel.

23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

24 This shall be the law for the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation;

25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease from the service and shall serve no more,

26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation to keep guard, and shall do no service. Thus shall you do to the Levites concerning their charge.

1 И говорил Господь Моисею, и сказал:

1 THE LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Объяви Аарону и скажи ему: когда ты будешь ставить лампады, то на передней стороне светильника должны гореть семь лампад.

2 Speak to Aaron and say to him, When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the candlestick.

3 Аарон так и сделал: на передней стороне светильника поставил лампады его, как повелел Господь Моисею.

3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the seven lamps thereof in front of the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.

4 И вот как сделан светильник: чеканный из золота, от стебля его и до цветов чеканный. Как показал Господь Моисею, так и сделал он светильник.

4 And the work of the candlestick was of molten gold; from its base to its flower was of cast work; according to the pattern which the LORD had shown to Moses, so he made the candlestick.

5 И говорил Господь Моисею, и сказал:

5 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

6 Возьми Левитов из сынов Израилевых и очисти их.

6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

7 Чтобы очистить их, поступи с ними так: окропи их очистительною водою, и пусть они обреют бритвою все тело свое и вымоют одежды свои, чтоб быть чистыми.

7 And thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: Sprinkle purifying water upon them, and let them shave all the body, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.

8 И пусть возьмут из крупного скота тельца и хлебное приношение к нему, пшеничную муку, облитую елеем, и другого тельца возьми в жертву за грех.

8 Then let them take a young bullock with its meal offering, a dish full of fine flour mixed with oil, and another young bullock shall you offer for a sin offering.

9 И приведи Левитов пред скинию собрания и собери все общество сынов Израилевых.

9 And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together;

10 И приведи Левитов пред Господа, и пусть возложат сыны Израилевы руки свои на Левитов.

10 Then you shall bring the Levites before the LORD; and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites;

11 Аарон же пусть принесет Левитов, потрясая пред Господом, от сынов Израилевых, чтобы они отправляли работы у Господа.

11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering from the children of Israel, that they may perform the service of the LORD.

12 А Левиты пусть возложат руки свои на голову тельцов, и принеси одного в жертву за грех, а другого во всесожжение Господу, для очищения Левитов.

12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.

13 И поставь Левитов [пред Господом и] пред Аароном и пред сынами его, и принеси их, потрясая пред Господом.

13 And you shall make the Levites stand before Aaron and before his sons, and offer them for an offering to the LORD.

14 И отдели таким образом Левитов от сынов Израилевых, чтобы Левиты были Мои.

14 Thus shall you separate the Levites from among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine.

15 После сего пойдут Левиты работать при скинии собрания, когда ты очистишь их и принесешь их, потрясая. Поелику они отданы Мне из сынов Израилевых.

15 And after that the Levites shall go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall cleanse them, and offer them for an offering before the LORD.

16 Вместо всех первенцев из сынов Израилевых, разверзающих все ложесна, Я беру их Себе.

16 For they are wholly given to me as a gift from among the children of Israel; instead of all that open the womb, even instead of the first-born of all the children of Israel, have I taken them to me.

17 Поелику все первенцы у сынов Израилевых, от человека до скота, суть Мои. В тот день, когда Я поразил всех первенцев в земле Египетской, Я освятил их Себе,

17 For all the first-born of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast; on the day that I smote every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

18 И взял Левитов вместо всех первенцев у сынов Израилевых.

18 And I have taken the Levites for all the first-born of the children of Israel.

19 И отдал Левитов Аарону и сынам его из сынов Израилевых, чтобы они отправляли работы за сынов Израилевых при скинии собрания, и служили защитою для сынов Израилевых, чтоб не постигло сынов Израилевых поражение, когда бы сыны Израилевы приступили к святилищу.

19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation and to make an atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel when they come near to the sanctuary.

20 И сделали так Моисей и Аарон и все общество сынов Израилевых с Левитами: как повелел Господь Моисею о Левитах, так и сделали с ними сыны Израилевы.

20 And Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel did to the Levites according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so did the children of Israel to them.

21 И очистились Левиты и омыли одежды свои, и принес их Аарон, потрясая пред Господом, и очистил их Аарон, чтоб сделать их чистыми.

21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them and cleansed them.

22 После сего пришли Левиты отправлять работы свои при скинии собрания пред Аароном и пред сынами его. Как повелел Господь Моисею о Левитах, так и сделали они с ними.

22 And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron and before his sons; as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did unto them the children of Israel.

23 И говорил Господь Моисею, и сказал:

23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

24 Вот что предписывается о Левитах: от двадцати пяти лет и выше должны вступать они в службу для работ при скинии собрания.

24 This shall be the law for the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation;

25 А в пятьдесят лет должны возвращаться из службы от работ, и далее не работать.

25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease from the service and shall serve no more,

26 Тогда могут они служить братьям своим в сбережении вверенного им, а работ не должны работать. Так поступай с Левитами, касательно служения, поручаемого им.

26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation to keep guard, and shall do no service. Thus shall you do to the Levites concerning their charge.
