Послание к ефесянам

Глава 4

1 Итак призываю вас я, узник в Господе, ходить достойно призвания, которым вы были призваны,

2 со всяким смиренномудрием и кротостью, с долготерпением, терпя друг друга в любви,

3 стараясь сохранять единство Духа в союзе мира:

4 одно Тело и один Дух, как вы и были призваны в единой надежде вашего призвания;

5 один Господь, одна вера, одно крещение;

6 один Бог и Отец всех, Который над всеми и чрез всех и во всех.

7 Каждому же из нас дана была благодать по мере дара Христова.

8 Потому Писание говорит: Восшед на высоту, Он пленил плен, Он дал дары людям.

9 А «восшел» что означает, как не то, что Он и нисшел в преисподние части земли?

10 Нисшедший, Он же есть и восшедший превыше всех небес, чтобы наполнить всё.

11 И Сам Он даровал кого апостолами, кого пророками, кого благовестниками, кого пастырями и учителями,

12 для усовершенствования святых к делу служения, на созидание Тела Христова,

13 пока мы все не придем к единству веры и познания Сына Божия, в мужа совершенного, в меру возраста полноты Христовой,

14 чтобы не были мы больше младенцами, колеблемыми и носимыми всяким ветром учения по нечестной игре человеческой, хитростью совращающей нас в заблуждение,

15 но чтобы, говоря истину в любви, мы во всём возрастали в Того, Который есть Глава, Христос;

16 из Него всё Тело, скрепляемое и соединяемое посредством всяких живительных связей, при действии в свою меру отдельно каждой части, осуществляет рост Тела к созиданию себя в любви.

17 Итак я это говорю и свидетельствую в Господе, чтобы вы больше не поступали, как поступают язычники в суетности ума своего,

18 будучи помрачены рассудком, чужды жизни Божией, по причине присущего им неведения, по причине ожесточения сердца своего;

19 они, которые, утратив всякую чувствительность, предались распутству, делая всякую нечистоту с жадностью.

20 Но вы не так познали Христа,

21 если, однако, о Нем вы слышали и в Нем были научены, согласно истине в Иисусе:

22 отложить вам прежнее поведение ветхого человека, разлагающегося в обманчивых похотях,

23 и обновиться умом вашим в Духе,

24 и облечься в нового человека, созданного по Богу в праведности и святости истины.

25 Поэтому, отложив ложь, говорите истину каждый ближнему своему, потому что мы члены друг другу.

26 Гневайтесь и не грешите: пусть не заходит солнце в раздражении вашем;

27 и не давайте места диаволу.

28 Кто крал, пусть больше не крадет, а лучше трудится, делая доброе своими руками, чтобы было из чего уделять нуждающемуся.

29 Никакое гнилое слово да не исходит из уст ваших, но только доброе, для назидания, когда нужно, чтобы оно доставляло благодать слушающим.

30 И не опечаливайте Святого Духа Божия, Которым вы были запечатлены на день искупления.

31 Всякая горечь, и ярость, и гнев, и крик, и злоречие пусть будут удалены от вас вместе со всякой злобой.

32 Но будьте друг ко другу добрыми, милосердными, прощая друг друга, как и Бог во Христе простил вам.

Ephesians

Chapter 4

1 I THEREFORE, a prisoner of our LORD, beseech you to live as is worthy of the rank to which you are called,

2 With all humility and gentleness and with patience, forbearing one another in love,

3 Endeavoring to preserve the harmony of the Spirit in the bond of peace,

4 That you may become one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling;

5 There is one LORD, one faith, and one baptism;

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in all of us.

7 But to every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8 Wherefore it is said, He ascended on high, and took possession of heaven and gave good gifts to men.

9 Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the inner parts of the earth?

10 So he that descended is the same also that ascended far above all heavens, that he might fulfil all things.

11 And he has assigned some, apostles, and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, pastors, and some, teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Until we all become one in faith, and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and become a perfect man according to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be not as children easily stirred and carried away by every wind of false doctrines of men who through their craftiness are artful in deceiving the people;

15 But that we be sincere in our love, so that in everything we may progress through Christ, who is the head.

16 It is through him that the whole body is closely and firmly united at all joints, according to the measure of the gift which is given to every member, for the guidance and control of the body, in order to complete the edifying of the body in love.

17 This I say therefore and testify in the LORD: that you henceforth live not as other Gentiles, who live in the vanity of their mind,

18 And whose understanding is dark, and who are alienated from the life of God, because they have no knowledge, and because of the blindness of their hearts;

19 And who have given up their hope, and have surrendered themselves to wantonness, and to the practice of all uncleanness in their covetousness.

20 But that is not what you have been taught about Christ;

21 If you have truly heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is found in Jesus:

22 That you lay aside all your former practices, that is to say, the old man which is degenerated with deceitful lusts;

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 And that you put on the new man, who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.

25 Wherefore you must put away from you lying, and speak the truth every man with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

26 Be angry, but sin not: and let not the sun go down upon your anger;

27 And do not give the devil a chance.

28 From henceforth let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor with his hands and do good deeds, that he may have something to give to him who is in need.

29 Let no bad word proceed from your mouth, but words that are good and useful for edification, that they will impart blessing to those who hear them.

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of salvation.

31 Let all bitterness and wrath, and anger, and clamouring and blasphemy be put away from you, together with all malice:

32 And be kind one to another and tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God has forgiven us through Christ.

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in all of us.

7 Каждому же из нас дана была благодать по мере дара Христова.

7 But to every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8 Потому Писание говорит: Восшед на высоту, Он пленил плен, Он дал дары людям.

8 Wherefore it is said, He ascended on high, and took possession of heaven and gave good gifts to men.

9 А «восшел» что означает, как не то, что Он и нисшел в преисподние части земли?

9 Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the inner parts of the earth?

10 Нисшедший, Он же есть и восшедший превыше всех небес, чтобы наполнить всё.

10 So he that descended is the same also that ascended far above all heavens, that he might fulfil all things.

11 И Сам Он даровал кого апостолами, кого пророками, кого благовестниками, кого пастырями и учителями,

11 And he has assigned some, apostles, and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, pastors, and some, teachers;

12 для усовершенствования святых к делу служения, на созидание Тела Христова,

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 пока мы все не придем к единству веры и познания Сына Божия, в мужа совершенного, в меру возраста полноты Христовой,

13 Until we all become one in faith, and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and become a perfect man according to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 чтобы не были мы больше младенцами, колеблемыми и носимыми всяким ветром учения по нечестной игре человеческой, хитростью совращающей нас в заблуждение,

14 That we henceforth be not as children easily stirred and carried away by every wind of false doctrines of men who through their craftiness are artful in deceiving the people;

15 но чтобы, говоря истину в любви, мы во всём возрастали в Того, Который есть Глава, Христос;

15 But that we be sincere in our love, so that in everything we may progress through Christ, who is the head.

16 из Него всё Тело, скрепляемое и соединяемое посредством всяких живительных связей, при действии в свою меру отдельно каждой части, осуществляет рост Тела к созиданию себя в любви.

17 Итак я это говорю и свидетельствую в Господе, чтобы вы больше не поступали, как поступают язычники в суетности ума своего,

18 будучи помрачены рассудком, чужды жизни Божией, по причине присущего им неведения, по причине ожесточения сердца своего;

19 они, которые, утратив всякую чувствительность, предались распутству, делая всякую нечистоту с жадностью.

20 Но вы не так познали Христа,

20 But that is not what you have been taught about Christ;

21 если, однако, о Нем вы слышали и в Нем были научены, согласно истине в Иисусе:

21 If you have truly heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is found in Jesus:

22 отложить вам прежнее поведение ветхого человека, разлагающегося в обманчивых похотях,

22 That you lay aside all your former practices, that is to say, the old man which is degenerated with deceitful lusts;

23 и обновиться умом вашим в Духе,

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 и облечься в нового человека, созданного по Богу в праведности и святости истины.

24 And that you put on the new man, who is created by God in righteousness and true holiness.

25 Поэтому, отложив ложь, говорите истину каждый ближнему своему, потому что мы члены друг другу.

25 Wherefore you must put away from you lying, and speak the truth every man with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

26 Гневайтесь и не грешите: пусть не заходит солнце в раздражении вашем;

26 Be angry, but sin not: and let not the sun go down upon your anger;

27 и не давайте места диаволу.

27 And do not give the devil a chance.

28 Кто крал, пусть больше не крадет, а лучше трудится, делая доброе своими руками, чтобы было из чего уделять нуждающемуся.

28 From henceforth let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor with his hands and do good deeds, that he may have something to give to him who is in need.

29 Никакое гнилое слово да не исходит из уст ваших, но только доброе, для назидания, когда нужно, чтобы оно доставляло благодать слушающим.

29 Let no bad word proceed from your mouth, but words that are good and useful for edification, that they will impart blessing to those who hear them.

30 И не опечаливайте Святого Духа Божия, Которым вы были запечатлены на день искупления.

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of salvation.

31 Всякая горечь, и ярость, и гнев, и крик, и злоречие пусть будут удалены от вас вместе со всякой злобой.

31 Let all bitterness and wrath, and anger, and clamouring and blasphemy be put away from you, together with all malice:

32 Но будьте друг ко другу добрыми, милосердными, прощая друг друга, как и Бог во Христе простил вам.

32 And be kind one to another and tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God has forgiven us through Christ.
