Глава 24

1 Если кто возьмет жену и сделается ее мужем, и после она не будет иметь благоволения в глазах его, потому что он находит в ней что-нибудь срамное, и напишет ей разводное письмо, и даст ей в руки, и отпустит ее из дому своего,

2 И [жена], вышедши из дому его, пойдет, и выйдет за другого мужа;

3 Но потом и сей последний муж возненавидит ее и напишет ей разводное письмо, и даст ей в руки, и отпустит ее из дому своего; или умрет сей последний муж ее, взявший ее себе в жену:

4 То не может первый ее муж, отпустивший ее, опять взять ее себе в жену, после того, как она осквернена, поскольку сие есть мерзость пред Иеговою, [Богом твоим,] и не порочь земли, которую Иегова, Бог твой, дает тебе в удел.

5 Если кто взял жену недавно, то пусть нейдет на войну, и ничего не должно возлагать на него; пусть он остается свободен в доме своем в продолжении одного года, и увеселяет жену свою, которую взял.

6 Никто не должен брать в залог верхнего и нижнего жернова; ибо таковый берет в залог душу.

7 Если найдут кого, что он украл кого-нибудь из братий своих, из сынов Израилевых, и поработил его, и продал его: то такового вора должно предать смерти, и таким образом истреби зло из среды себя.

8 Смотри, в язве проказы тщательно соблюдай и исполняй весь [закон], которому научат вас священники Левиты; тщательно исполняйте, что я повелел им.

9 Вспомни, как Иегова, Бог твой, поступил с Мариамью на пути, когда вы шли из Египта.

10 Если ты ближнему своему дашь что-нибудь взаймы, то не ходи к нему в дом, чтобы взять у него залог,

11 Постой на улице, а тот, которому ты дал взаймы, вынесет тебе залог свой на улицу.

12 Если же он будет человек бедный, то ты не ложись спать, имея [у себя] залог его;

13 Возврати ему залог при захождении солнца, чтобы он лег спать в одежде своей, и благословил тебя: и тебе поставится сие в праведность пред Иеговою, Богом твоим.

14 Не обижай наемника, бедного и нищего, из братий твоих или из пришельцев твоих, которые в земле твоей, в жилищах твоих.

15 В тот же день отдай плату его, чтоб солнце не зашло прежде того, поелику он беден, и ждет ее душа его: чтобы он не возопил на тебя ко Господу, и не было на тебе греха.

16 Отцы не должны быть наказываемы смертью за детей, и дети не должны быть наказываемы смертью за отцев; каждый должен быть наказываем смертью за свое преступление.

17 Не суди превратно пришельца, сироту [и вдову]; и у вдовы не бери в залог одежды.

18 Помни, что [и ты] был рабом в Египте, и Иегова, [Бог твой,] освободил тебя оттуда: посему я и повелеваю тебе делать сие.

19 Когда будешь жать на поле твоем, и забудешь сноп на поле [твоем]: то не возвращайся взять его; пусть он остается пришельцу, [нищему,] сироте и вдове, чтобы Иегова, Бог твой, благословил тебя во всех делах рук твоих.

20 Когда будешь обивать маслину свою, то не пересматривай за собою ветвей; пусть остается пришельцу, сироте и вдове. [И помни, что ты был рабом в земле Египетской: посему я и повелеваю тебе делать сие.]

21 Когда будешь снимать плоды в винограднике твоем, не обирай дочиста за собою; пусть остается пришельцу, сироте и вдове.

22 И помни, что ты был рабом в земле Египетской. Посему я и повелеваю тебе делать сие.

Deuteronomy

Chapter 24

1 IF a man takes a wife, and lies with her, and if she finds no favor in his eyes, because he has found some evidence of open prostitution in her; then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it to her, and send her out of his house.

2 And when she has left his house, and if she goes and becomes another man's wife,

3 And if that husband hates her, and writes her a bill of divorcement, and gives it to her, and sends her out of his house, or if that husband who took her to be his wife dies;

4 Then her former husband, who sent her away, has no right to take her again to be his wife, after she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the LORD; and you shall not cause the land to sin, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.

5 When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out with the army, neither shall he be charged with any business; but he shall be free at his home for one year, and shall rejoice with his wife whom he has taken.

6 No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone as a pledge; for he takes a man's life to pledge.

7 If a man of the children of Israel is found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, to make merchandise of him, or sell him; then that thief shall surely die; and you shall put evil away from among you.

8 Take heed in the plague of leprosy, and be exceedingly careful, and do according to all that the priests and the Levites shall teach you; as I commanded them, so you shall be careful to do.

9 Remember what the LORD your God did to Miriam on the way, after you came forth out of Egypt.

10 If your neighbor owes you a debt, you shall not go into his house to fetch his pledge.

11 But you shall wait in the street, and the man who is your debtor shall bring out the pledge to you.

12 And if the man is poor, you shall not sleep with his mantle.

13 But you shall return to him his mantle again when the sun goes down, that he may sleep in his own mantle, and bless you; and it shall be righteousness to you before the LORD your God.

14 You shall not cheat the wages of a hired laborer who is poor and needy, whether he is of your brethren or of the strangers who are in your cities;

15 But you shall pay him his wages on the same day, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and it is because of his wages that he places himself at your disposal; lest he cry against you to the LORD, and it be sin against you.

16 The fathers shall not be put to death for their children, neither shall the children be put to death for their fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

17 You shall not pervert the justice due to the stranger, nor to the orphan; nor take a widow's garment as a pledge;

18 But you shall remember that you were a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD your God delivered you from there; therefore I command you to do this thing:

19 When you reap the harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not return to fetch it; it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the works of your hands.

20 When you beat your olive trees, you shall not go over the boughs again; it shall be for the stranger, for the orphan, and for the widow.

21 When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not glean it afterward; it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

22 And you shall remember that you were a bondman in Egypt; therefore I command you to do this thing.

2 И [жена], вышедши из дому его, пойдет, и выйдет за другого мужа;

3 Но потом и сей последний муж возненавидит ее и напишет ей разводное письмо, и даст ей в руки, и отпустит ее из дому своего; или умрет сей последний муж ее, взявший ее себе в жену:

3 And if that husband hates her, and writes her a bill of divorcement, and gives it to her, and sends her out of his house, or if that husband who took her to be his wife dies;

4 То не может первый ее муж, отпустивший ее, опять взять ее себе в жену, после того, как она осквернена, поскольку сие есть мерзость пред Иеговою, [Богом твоим,] и не порочь земли, которую Иегова, Бог твой, дает тебе в удел.

4 Then her former husband, who sent her away, has no right to take her again to be his wife, after she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the LORD; and you shall not cause the land to sin, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.

5 Если кто взял жену недавно, то пусть нейдет на войну, и ничего не должно возлагать на него; пусть он остается свободен в доме своем в продолжении одного года, и увеселяет жену свою, которую взял.

5 When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out with the army, neither shall he be charged with any business; but he shall be free at his home for one year, and shall rejoice with his wife whom he has taken.

6 Никто не должен брать в залог верхнего и нижнего жернова; ибо таковый берет в залог душу.

6 No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone as a pledge; for he takes a man's life to pledge.

15 В тот же день отдай плату его, чтоб солнце не зашло прежде того, поелику он беден, и ждет ее душа его: чтобы он не возопил на тебя ко Господу, и не было на тебе греха.

15 But you shall pay him his wages on the same day, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and it is because of his wages that he places himself at your disposal; lest he cry against you to the LORD, and it be sin against you.

16 Отцы не должны быть наказываемы смертью за детей, и дети не должны быть наказываемы смертью за отцев; каждый должен быть наказываем смертью за свое преступление.

16 The fathers shall not be put to death for their children, neither shall the children be put to death for their fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

17 Не суди превратно пришельца, сироту [и вдову]; и у вдовы не бери в залог одежды.

17 You shall not pervert the justice due to the stranger, nor to the orphan; nor take a widow's garment as a pledge;

18 Помни, что [и ты] был рабом в Египте, и Иегова, [Бог твой,] освободил тебя оттуда: посему я и повелеваю тебе делать сие.

18 But you shall remember that you were a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD your God delivered you from there; therefore I command you to do this thing:

19 Когда будешь жать на поле твоем, и забудешь сноп на поле [твоем]: то не возвращайся взять его; пусть он остается пришельцу, [нищему,] сироте и вдове, чтобы Иегова, Бог твой, благословил тебя во всех делах рук твоих.
