Глава 2

1 В седьмой месяц, в двадцать первый день месяца, было слово Иеговы чрез пророка Аггея, и сказано:

2 Скажи Зерувавелю, сыну Шеалтиилову, князю Иудеи, и Иисусу, сыну Иоцадакову, великому священнику и остатку народа:

3 Кто остался из вас видевший дом сей в первой славе его? и каким вы теперь его видите? не правда ли, что он в глазах ваших как бы ничто?

4 Но будь тверд, Зерувавель, говорит Иегова; и будь тверд, Иисус, сын Иоцадаков, великий священник; и будь бодр, весь народ земли, говорит Иегова, и действуйте: ибо Я с вами, говорит Иегова воинств.

5 По слову завета, который Я заключил с вами, во время исхода вашего из Египта... и Дух Мой присутствует среди вас: не бойтесь!

6 Ибо так говорит Иегова воинств: еще однажды, еще немного, и Я поколеблю небо и землю, и море и сушу;

7 И воздвигну все народы, и пойдут сюда драгоценности всех народов, и наполню дом сей славою, говорит Иегова воинств.

8 Мое серебро и Мое золото, говорит Иегова воинств.

9 Слава последнего дома сего будет выше прежнего, говорит Иегова воинств: и мир дам на месте сем, говорит Иегова воинств.

10 В двадцать четвертый день девятого месяца, во второй год Дария, было слово Иеговы чрез пророка Аггея, и сказано:

11 Так говорит Иегова воинств: спроси священников о законе, и скажи:

12 Если бы кто нес священное мясо в поле своей одежды, и полою своею дотронулся до хлеба, или до похлебки, или до вина, или до масла, или до чего-нибудь съестного; сделается ли это священным? Священники отвечали и сказали: нет.

13 Аггей потом сказал: а если нечистый от мертвого тела дотронется до всего этого, сделается ли это нечистым? Священники отвечали и сказали: да, сделается нечистым.

14 Аггей отвечал на сие, и сказал: то же и с народом сим, то же с людьми сими предо Мною, говорит Иегова, и то же со всеми делами рук их; и что они там ни приносят, все нечисто.

15 Итак обратите внимание ваше на время от сего дня и далее назад, когда еще не положен был камень на камне во храме Иеговы.

16 Дотоле приходят бывало к копне в двадцать мер, и оказывается десять; приходят к подточильному чану, чтобы начерпать пятьдесят мер из точила, а оказывается двадцать.

17 Я наказывал вас палящим ветром, и блеклостью, и градом все работы рук ваших; но вы ко Мне не обратились сами, говорит Иегова.

18 Возьмите же во внимание ваше время от сего дня и далее назад, время от сего двадцать четвертого дня девятого месяца до самого того дня, когда основан храм Иеговы, возьмите во внимание ваше.

19 Оставались ли уже в житницах зерна? ни виноградная лоза, ни смоковница, ни граната, ни масличное дерево не приносили плода; а с того дня Я посылаю благословение.

20 И было слово Иеговы вторично к Аггею в двадцать четвертый день месяца, и сказано:

21 Скажи Зерувавелю, князю Иудеи: Я поколеблю небо и землю.

22 И опровергну престолы царств, и сокрушу силу царств народов, и опровергну колесницу и сидящих на ней; и падут кони и всадники их, каждый от меча ближнего своего.

23 В тот день, говорит Иегова воинств, Я возьму тебя, Зерувавель, сын Шеалтиилов, раб Мой, говорит Иегова; и буду у Себя держать тебя как печать; потому что Я избрал тебя, говорит Иегова воинств.

2 Speak559 now4994 to Zerubbabel2216 the son1121 of Shealtiel,7597 governor6346 of Judah,3063 and to Joshua3091 the son1121 of Josedech,3087 the high1419 priest,3548 and to the residue7611 of the people,5971 saying,559

3 Who4310 is left7604 among you that saw7200 this2088 house1004 in her first7223 glory?3519 and how4100 do you see7200 it now?6258 is it not in your eyes5869 in comparison3644 of it as nothing?369

4 Yet now6258 be strong,2388 O Zerubbabel,2216 said5002 the LORD;3068 and be strong,2388 O Joshua,3091 son1121 of Josedech,3087 the high1419 priest;3548 and be strong,2388 all3605 you people5971 of the land,776 said5002 the LORD,3068 and work:6213 for I am with you, said5002 the LORD3068 of hosts:6635

5 According to the word1697 that I covenanted3772 with you when you came3318 out of Egypt,4714 so my spirit7307 remains5975 among8432 you: fear3372 you not.

6 For thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Yet5750 once,259 it is a little4592 while, and I will shake7493 the heavens,8064 and the earth,776 and the sea,3220 and the dry2724 land;

7 And I will shake7493 all3605 nations,1471 and the desire2532 of all3605 nations1471 shall come:935 and I will fill4390 this2088 house1004 with glory,3519 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

8 The silver3701 is mine, and the gold2091 is mine, said5002 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

9 The glory3519 of this2088 latter314 house1004 shall be greater1419 than of the former,7223 said5002 the LORD3068 of hosts:6635 and in this2088 place4725 will I give5414 peace,7965 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

10 In the four702 and twentieth6242 day of the ninth8671 month, in the second8147 year8141 of Darius,1867 came1961 the word1697 of the LORD3068 by Haggai2292 the prophet,5030 saying,559

11 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Ask7592 now4994 the priests3548 concerning the law,8451 saying,559

12 If2005 one bear5375 holy6944 flesh1320 in the skirt3671 of his garment,899 and with his skirt3671 do touch5060 bread,3899 or pottage,5138 or wine,3196 or oil,8081 or any3605 meat,3978 shall it be holy?6942 And the priests3548 answered6030 and said,559 No.3808

13 Then said559 Haggai,2292 If518 one that is unclean2931 by a dead body5315 touch5060 any3605 of these,428 shall it be unclean?2930 And the priests3548 answered6030 and said,559 It shall be unclean.2930

14 Then answered6030 Haggai,2292 and said,559 So3651 is this2088 people,5971 and so3651 is this2088 nation1471 before6440 me, said5002 the LORD;3068 and so3651 is every3605 work4639 of their hands;3027 and that which834 they offer7126 there8033 is unclean.2931

15 And now,4994 I pray4994 you, consider7760 3820 from this2088 day3117 and upward,4605 from before2962 a stone68 was laid7760 on a stone68 in the temple1964 of the LORD:3068

16 Since those days were, when one came935 to an heap6194 of twenty6242 measures, there were but ten:6235 when one came935 to the fat press3342 for to draw2834 out fifty2572 vessels out of the press,6333 there were but twenty.6242

17 I smote5221 you with blasting7711 and with mildew3420 and with hail1259 in all3605 the labors4639 of your hands;3027 yet you turned not to me, said5002 the LORD.3068

18 Consider3820 now4994 from this2088 day3117 and upward,4605 from the four702 and twentieth6242 day3117 of the ninth8671 month, even from the day3117 that the foundation3245 of the LORD's3068 temple1964 was laid, consider3820 it.

19 Is the seed2233 yet5750 in the barn?4035 yes, as yet5704 the vine,1612 and the fig8384 tree, and the pomegranate,7416 and the olive2132 tree,6086 has not brought5375 forth:5375 from this2088 day3117 will I bless1288 you.

20 And again8145 the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to Haggai2292 in the four702 and twentieth6242 day of the month,2320 saying,559

21 Speak559 to Zerubbabel,2216 governor6346 of Judah,3063 saying,559 I will shake7493 the heavens8064 and the earth;776

22 And I will overthrow2015 the throne3678 of kingdoms,4467 and I will destroy8045 the strength2392 of the kingdoms4467 of the heathen;1471 and I will overthrow2015 the chariots,4818 and those that ride7392 in them; and the horses5483 and their riders7392 shall come3381 down,3381 every376 one376 by the sword2719 of his brother.251

23 In that day,3117 said5002 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 will I take3947 you, O Zerubbabel,2216 my servant,5650 the son1121 of Shealtiel,7597 said5002 the LORD,3068 and will make7760 you as a signet:2368 for I have chosen977 you, said5002 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

5 По слову завета, который Я заключил с вами, во время исхода вашего из Египта... и Дух Мой присутствует среди вас: не бойтесь!

6 Ибо так говорит Иегова воинств: еще однажды, еще немного, и Я поколеблю небо и землю, и море и сушу;

7 И воздвигну все народы, и пойдут сюда драгоценности всех народов, и наполню дом сей славою, говорит Иегова воинств.

14 Аггей отвечал на сие, и сказал: то же и с народом сим, то же с людьми сими предо Мною, говорит Иегова, и то же со всеми делами рук их; и что они там ни приносят, все нечисто.

14 Then answered6030 Haggai,2292 and said,559 So3651 is this2088 people,5971 and so3651 is this2088 nation1471 before6440 me, said5002 the LORD;3068 and so3651 is every3605 work4639 of their hands;3027 and that which834 they offer7126 there8033 is unclean.2931

15 Итак обратите внимание ваше на время от сего дня и далее назад, когда еще не положен был камень на камне во храме Иеговы.

15 And now,4994 I pray4994 you, consider7760 3820 from this2088 day3117 and upward,4605 from before2962 a stone68 was laid7760 on a stone68 in the temple1964 of the LORD:3068

16 Дотоле приходят бывало к копне в двадцать мер, и оказывается десять; приходят к подточильному чану, чтобы начерпать пятьдесят мер из точила, а оказывается двадцать.

16 Since those days were, when one came935 to an heap6194 of twenty6242 measures, there were but ten:6235 when one came935 to the fat press3342 for to draw2834 out fifty2572 vessels out of the press,6333 there were but twenty.6242

19 Оставались ли уже в житницах зерна? ни виноградная лоза, ни смоковница, ни граната, ни масличное дерево не приносили плода; а с того дня Я посылаю благословение.
