1 Молитва пророка Мусы.

2 Владыка, Ты был для нас прибежищем из поколения в поколение.

3 Прежде чем родились горы, и Ты образовал землю и вселенную, от века и до века Ты – Бог.

4 Ты возвращаешь человека в тление и говоришь: «Вернитесь, смертные».

5 Тысяча лет в глазах Твоих, как день вчерашний, что минул, как несколько часов в ночи.

6 Как наводнением уносишь людей; они проходят как сон.Они – как трава, что утром взошла: утром она цветёт и зеленеет, а вечером вянет и засыхает.

7 Мы исчезаем от Твоего гнева, мы в смятении от Твоей ярости.

8 Ты поставил наши беззакония перед Собою и наши тайные грехи – перед лицом Своим.

9 Наши дни проходят в Твоём гневе; мы завершаем свои годы со стоном.

10 Дней нашей жизни – лет семьдесят, а для тех, кто покрепче, – лет восемьдесят,и большая часть их – труд и скорбь; быстро они проходят, и мы исчезаем.

11 Кто познал силу Твоего гнева? Ярость Твоя столь же велика, сколь велик страх перед Тобой.

12 Научи нас вести счёт нашим дням, чтобы мы обрели сердце мудрое.

13 Возвратись, Вечный! Как долго ещё будешь гневаться? Сжалься над Своими рабами!

14 Насыщай нас по утрам милостью Своей, чтобы мы радовались и веселились все наши дни.

15 Возвесели нас за дни, когда Ты наказывал нас, и за годы, в которые мы испытывали бедствие.

16 Да откроется взору рабов Твоих дело Твоё, и слава Твоя – их детям.

17 И да пребудет на нас милость Владыки, нашего Бога. Укрепи наше дело, укрепи для нас дело наших рук.

Psalm 89

1 I WILL sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever; with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

2 For I have said, The world shall be built up with mercy; thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn to David my servant,

4 Thy offspring will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations.

5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD, thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

6 For who in heaven can be compared to the LORD? who among the angels can be likened to the LORD?

7 God stands forth in the assembly of the saints, great and revered above all that are about him.

8 O LORD God of hosts, who is mighty like thee? and thy faithfulness is round about thee.

9 Thou rulest the splendor of the sea; thou stillest the waves thereof.

10 Thou hast humbled the proud as those that are slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine; as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

12 The north and the south, thou hast created them; Tabor and Hermon glorify thy name.

13 Thine is the arm, and thine is the might; thy hand is strong and thy right hand shall be exalted.

14 Thy throne is built on righteousness and judgment; mercy and truth go before thy face.

15 Blessed is the people that understand thy glory; they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day; and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

17 For thou art the glory of our strength; and in thy favor our horn shall be exalted.
