Глава 16

1 После этого услышал я, как громкий голос из Храма сказал семи ангелам: «Пойдите и вылейте на землю семь чаш ярости Божьей!»

2 Вышел первый ангел и вылил свою чашу на землю — и страшные мучительные язвы покрыли тех, кто носил клеймо зверя и поклонялся образу его.

3 Второй ангел вылил свою чашу в море — сделалось море, как кровь мертвеца, так что погибло в нем всё живое.

4 Третий ангел в реки вылил чашу свою и в источники вод — все они тоже превратились в кровь.

5 Тут услышал я ангела вод: «Праведен Ты в судах Своих, Ты, Кто есть и Кто был всегда. Свят Ты в приговоре Своем:

6 пролили они кровь святых слуг Твоих и пророков, потому обрек Ты их пить кровь, как они того заслужили».

7 И от жертвенника послышалось: «Так, Господи Боже Вседержитель, истинны и праведны суды Твои!»

8 Четвертый ангел вылил чашу свою на солнце — и дано было солнцу сжигать людей страшным своим огнем.

9 Опалил людей нестерпимый зной, но они не покаялись, не воздали Богу славу, а хулили имя Его, Того, Кто властен над этими бедствиями.

10 Пятый вылил чашу свою на престол зверя — мраком покрылось царство его. Люди кусали языки свои от боли,

11 но опять не раскаялись в делах своих, а хулили Бога Небесного за страдания свои и за язвы свои.

12 Вылил шестой ангел чашу свою, на великую реку Евфрат вылил — и высохла вода ее. Так был приготовлен путь для царей с востока.

13 После того увидел я, как вышли из пастей дракона и зверя и изо рта лжепророка три духа нечистых, жабам подобных.

14 Духи эти, знамения творящие, — бесовские. Они выходят к царям всей земли, чтобы собрать их на битву в великий День Бога Вседержителя.

15 Тут услышал я: «Приду внезапно, когда не будут ждать Меня. Блажен будет бодрствующий и хранящий одежды свои, чтобы не ходить ему нагим и чтобы не видно было срама его».

16 И собрали эти духи царей на место, которое по-еврейски зовется Армагеддон.

17 Но вот седьмой ангел вылил чашу свою в воздух: и донесся от престола в Храме мощный голос: «Кончено!»

18 Засверкали молнии, послышались рокот и раскаты грома, и произошло великое землетрясение — такое страшное землетрясение, такое великое, какого не было за всё то время, что живет человек на земле.

19 Распался тогда великий город на три части, и города всех народов пали. Не забыл Бог о Вавилоне великом и дал ему чашу, наполненную вином сурового возмездия Своего.

20 Пропали все острова и горы исчезли,

21 страшный град, с талант величиной, обрушился на людей с неба, а они проклинали Бога за такое наказание, ужасное наказание.

Chapter 16

1 AND I heard a great voice saying the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the seven vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

2 And the first went and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there came a severe and malignant sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and upon those who worshipped his image.

3 Then the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man, and every living soul died in the sea.

4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

5 Then I heard the angel who has charge over waters say, You are righteous, O Holy One, who is and was, because you have condemned them.

6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Yes, O LORD God Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.

8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.

9 And men were scorched by intense heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, who has power over these plagues: and they did not repent to give him glory.

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial on the throne of the wild beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues from pain,

11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their wounds and sores; and did not repent of their deeds.

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Eu-phra'tes; and its waters dried up, that the way of the king of the East might be prepared.

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the wild beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, who work miracles which go forth to the kings of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 And behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments, lest he must walk naked, and they see his shame.

16 And he gathered them together in a place which in the Hebrew tongue is called Ar-ma-ged'don.

17 Then the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple from the throne, saying, It is done.

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, the like of which had never happened since man was upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Bab-y'lon came in remembrance before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

20 And every island fled away, and the mountains could not be found.

21 And great hail, about the size of a talent, fell out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the destructive force of the hail was exceedingly great.

2 And the first went and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there came a severe and malignant sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and upon those who worshipped his image.

3 Второй ангел вылил свою чашу в море — сделалось море, как кровь мертвеца, так что погибло в нем всё живое.

3 Then the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man, and every living soul died in the sea.

4 Третий ангел в реки вылил чашу свою и в источники вод — все они тоже превратились в кровь.

4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

5 Тут услышал я ангела вод: «Праведен Ты в судах Своих, Ты, Кто есть и Кто был всегда. Свят Ты в приговоре Своем:

5 Then I heard the angel who has charge over waters say, You are righteous, O Holy One, who is and was, because you have condemned them.

6 пролили они кровь святых слуг Твоих и пророков, потому обрек Ты их пить кровь, как они того заслужили».

6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

7 И от жертвенника послышалось: «Так, Господи Боже Вседержитель, истинны и праведны суды Твои!»

7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Yes, O LORD God Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.

8 Четвертый ангел вылил чашу свою на солнце — и дано было солнцу сжигать людей страшным своим огнем.

8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.

9 Опалил людей нестерпимый зной, но они не покаялись, не воздали Богу славу, а хулили имя Его, Того, Кто властен над этими бедствиями.

9 And men were scorched by intense heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, who has power over these plagues: and they did not repent to give him glory.

10 Пятый вылил чашу свою на престол зверя — мраком покрылось царство его. Люди кусали языки свои от боли,

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial on the throne of the wild beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues from pain,

11 но опять не раскаялись в делах своих, а хулили Бога Небесного за страдания свои и за язвы свои.

11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their wounds and sores; and did not repent of their deeds.

12 Вылил шестой ангел чашу свою, на великую реку Евфрат вылил — и высохла вода ее. Так был приготовлен путь для царей с востока.

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Eu-phra'tes; and its waters dried up, that the way of the king of the East might be prepared.

13 После того увидел я, как вышли из пастей дракона и зверя и изо рта лжепророка три духа нечистых, жабам подобных.

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the wild beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 Духи эти, знамения творящие, — бесовские. Они выходят к царям всей земли, чтобы собрать их на битву в великий День Бога Вседержителя.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, who work miracles which go forth to the kings of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 Тут услышал я: «Приду внезапно, когда не будут ждать Меня. Блажен будет бодрствующий и хранящий одежды свои, чтобы не ходить ему нагим и чтобы не видно было срама его».

15 And behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments, lest he must walk naked, and they see his shame.

16 И собрали эти духи царей на место, которое по-еврейски зовется Армагеддон.

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, the like of which had never happened since man was upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 Распался тогда великий город на три части, и города всех народов пали. Не забыл Бог о Вавилоне великом и дал ему чашу, наполненную вином сурового возмездия Своего.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Bab-y'lon came in remembrance before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

20 Пропали все острова и горы исчезли,

20 And every island fled away, and the mountains could not be found.

21 страшный град, с талант величиной, обрушился на людей с неба, а они проклинали Бога за такое наказание, ужасное наказание.

21 And great hail, about the size of a talent, fell out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the destructive force of the hail was exceedingly great.
