1 ГОСПОДЬ сказал Моисею:

2 «Вели сынам Израилевым выслать за стан всех страдающих каким-либо кожным заболеванием или имеющих выделения и любого, кто стал ритуально нечист, прикоснувшись к мертвому телу.

3 Да будут удалены все такие: и мужчины, и женщины. Вышлите их всех за пределы стана: они не должны делать нечистым свой стан, где Я среди них обитаю».

4 Сыны Израилевы исполнили это повеление: удалили их за пределы стана. Они сделали всё так, как повелел ГОСПОДЬ Моисею.

5 ГОСПОДЬ дал Моисею

6 для сынов Израилевых также такие указания: «Если мужчина или женщина причинит какой-либо вред ближнему своему, — а это вероломство и по отношению к ГОСПОДУ, — сделавшие это навлекают на себя вину,

7 они должны сознаться в совершённом грехе и полностью возместить убытки, причиненные их прегрешением, прибавив сверх того еще пятую часть, и отдать это тому, кому они нанесли ущерб.

8 Если же пострадавший не оставил после себя наследников, которые могли бы получить возмещение ущерба, тогда оно становится ГОСПОДНИМ: его следует отдать священнику, так же как и барана — необходимую жертву примирения, чтобы привести виновного в единение с Богом.

9 Всякое возносимое приношение сынов Израилевых из всех святынь, которые они приносят священнику, ему и должно принадлежать.

10 Священник вправе пользоваться приносимыми ему священными дарами; и то, что ему отдано, у него и остается».

11 ГОСПОДЬ дал Моисею

12 для сынов Израилевых и такие указания: «Случись, что чья-то жена собьется с пути и станет неверна мужу,

13 переспав с другим мужчиной втайне от мужа своего, который ничего не знает о том, что она осквернилась, хотя при этом не было свидетеля и она не была уличена,

14 но ее мужем овладел дух подозрения: он не верит жене, ставшей нечистой, или, положим, заподозрит жену в неверности и будет ревновать ее, даже когда она не виновна,

15 тогда муж должен прийти с ней к священнику и принести за нее соответствующий дар — десятую часть эфы ячменной муки. Но нельзя лить на муку оливковое масло и ладана нельзя класть, ибо это хлебный дар, ревностью вызванный, хлебный дар-напоминание, беззаконие изобличающий.

16 Священник велит женщине подойти и предстать пред ГОСПОДОМ.

17 Зачерпнув священной воды в сосуд глиняный, священник возьмет горсть пыли с пола Скинии и бросит ее в тот сосуд.

18 Затем обнажит он голову женщины, поставленной им перед ГОСПОДОМ, и положит ей на ладони хлебный дар-напоминание, хлебный дар, ревностью вызванный. В руках у священника будет горькая вода, проклятие наводящая.

19 Священник призовет женщину дать клятву, уверяя ее: „Если ты не спала с другим мужчиной и, оставаясь преданной мужу, не осквернялась, вода сия горькая, проклятие наводящая, не причинит тебе вреда.

20 Но если предавалась разврату и нечистой стала, поскольку другой какой-то мужчина, кроме твоего мужа, спал с тобой, —

21 и здесь священник велит женщине поклясться, призывая на себя несчастья, и скажет ей: — Да сделает ГОСПОДЬ так, что от тебя отвернутся и проклинать тебя будут в народе твоем, когда чрево твое станет неспособным к зачатию, бесплодным.

22 И эта вода, проклятие несущая, пусть теперь войдет в утробу твою и сделает чрево твое бесплодным, к зачатию неспособным“. А женщина должна будет сказать: „Аминь, да будет так“.

23 Священник напишет слова эти на свитке, а потом смоет их в горькую воду

24 и напоит женщину этой горькой водой, проклятие несущей, чтобы эта вода вошла в нее и вызвала горькие страдания.

25 Но сначала возьмет священник из рук женщины хлебный дар, с которым она пришла из-за ревности к ней, вознесет его пред ГОСПОДОМ и поднесет к жертвеннику.

26 И, взяв определенную для аромата часть дара, в дым обратит ее на жертвеннике, а потом даст женщине выпить эту воду.

27 Напоит он ее водою, и если осквернилась она, изменила мужу своему, то вода, проклятие несущая, войдет в нее и принесет ей горечь: сделает чрево ее бесплодным, к зачатию неспособным, и вызовет отвращение к ней в народе ее.

28 Если же не осквернена женщина, если чиста она, то может пить эту воду безбоязненно: вреда ей не будет и зачинать она сможет.

29 Таков закон о том, как следует поступать в случае ревности: что делать, когда женщина, будучи замужем, сбивается с пути и оскверняет себя

30 или когда мужем овладевает чувство ревности, побуждающее его подозревать свою жену. Тогда он должен поставить ее перед ГОСПОДОМ, а священник обязан сделать всё, что по этому закону полагается.

31 Этим муж не навлечет на себя вины, а жена, если она виновата, должна будет ответить за грех свой».

1 THE LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper and every one who has a discharge and whosoever has defiled himself;

3 Both male and female shall you put outside the camp, that they may not defile your camps, for I dwell among you.

4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them outside the camp; as the LORD had said to Moses, so did the children of Israel.

5 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

6 Say to the children of Israel, When a man or a woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do wrong in the sight of the LORD, and that person shall be guilty,

7 Then he shall confess his sins which he has committed; and his guilt shall return upon his own head; and he shall add a fifth part thereof, and give it to him whom he had wronged.

8 And if the person has no kinsman to whom to recompense the trespass, let the trespass offering which they bring on his behalf before the LORD be given to the priest in addition to the ram of the atonement with which an atonement is made for him.

9 And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel which they bring to the priest shall be his.

10 And every man's hallowed things shall be his; and whatever any man gives to the priest, shall be his.

11 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

12 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, If any man's wife does wrong, and commits a trespass against him,

13 And a man lies with her carnally and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband and the act is kept secret and she is defiled and there is no witness against her, neither is she caught in the act,

14 And the temper of jealousy comes upon him and he be jealous of his wife and she is defiled; or if the temper of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous of his wife and she is not defiled,

15 Then the man shall bring his wife to the priest, and he shall bring as his offering a tenth part of an ephah of barley flour; and he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense upon it; for it is a meal offering of jealousy, a meal offering for a memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

16 And the priest shall bring her near, and she shall stand before the LORD;

17 And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and some of the dust that is in the base of the altar of the tabernacle the priest shall take and put it into the water;

18 And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD and shave the woman's head and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering; and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water of testing;

19 And the priest shall charge the woman by an oath, and say to her, If no man has lain with you besides your husband, and if you have not done wrong and become unclean, be absolved from these charges by this bitter water of testing;

20 But if you have done wrong by having lain with another man besides your husband, and if you have defiled yourself, and some other man has lain with you besides your husband;

21 Then the priest shall adjure the woman with the oaths of cursing, and the priest shall say to the woman, The LORD make you a curse and an oath among your people, when the LORD makes your thigh to rot and your belly to swell;

22 And this water of testing shall go into your belly and make your belly to swell and your thighs to rot; and the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

23 And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot out the writing in the water of testing;

24 And he shall make the woman drink the bitter water of testing; and the water of testing shall enter into her, to try her.

25 Then the priest shall take the jealousy meal offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the meal offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar;

26 And the priest shall take some of the meal offering as the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall make the woman drink the water.

27 And when he has made her drink the water, if she has defiled herself and has committed iniquity against her husband, the water of testing shall enter into her, and shall try her, and if her belly shall swell and her thighs shall rot, then that woman shall be a curse among her people.

28 But if the woman has not defiled herself, but is pure, then she shall be absolved, and shall bear a male child.

29 This is the law of jealousy when a woman does wrong by having lain with another man besides her husband and defiles herself,

30 Or when the temper of jealousy comes upon a man and he is jealous over his wife and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law;

31 Then the man shall be blameless from guilt, but the woman shall bear her iniquity.

4 Сыны Израилевы исполнили это повеление: удалили их за пределы стана. Они сделали всё так, как повелел ГОСПОДЬ Моисею.

4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them outside the camp; as the LORD had said to Moses, so did the children of Israel.

5 ГОСПОДЬ дал Моисею

5 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

6 для сынов Израилевых также такие указания: «Если мужчина или женщина причинит какой-либо вред ближнему своему, — а это вероломство и по отношению к ГОСПОДУ, — сделавшие это навлекают на себя вину,

6 Say to the children of Israel, When a man or a woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do wrong in the sight of the LORD, and that person shall be guilty,

7 они должны сознаться в совершённом грехе и полностью возместить убытки, причиненные их прегрешением, прибавив сверх того еще пятую часть, и отдать это тому, кому они нанесли ущерб.

7 Then he shall confess his sins which he has committed; and his guilt shall return upon his own head; and he shall add a fifth part thereof, and give it to him whom he had wronged.

8 Если же пострадавший не оставил после себя наследников, которые могли бы получить возмещение ущерба, тогда оно становится ГОСПОДНИМ: его следует отдать священнику, так же как и барана — необходимую жертву примирения, чтобы привести виновного в единение с Богом.

8 And if the person has no kinsman to whom to recompense the trespass, let the trespass offering which they bring on his behalf before the LORD be given to the priest in addition to the ram of the atonement with which an atonement is made for him.

9 Всякое возносимое приношение сынов Израилевых из всех святынь, которые они приносят священнику, ему и должно принадлежать.

9 And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel which they bring to the priest shall be his.

10 Священник вправе пользоваться приносимыми ему священными дарами; и то, что ему отдано, у него и остается».

10 And every man's hallowed things shall be his; and whatever any man gives to the priest, shall be his.

11 ГОСПОДЬ дал Моисею

11 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

12 для сынов Израилевых и такие указания: «Случись, что чья-то жена собьется с пути и станет неверна мужу,

12 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, If any man's wife does wrong, and commits a trespass against him,

13 переспав с другим мужчиной втайне от мужа своего, который ничего не знает о том, что она осквернилась, хотя при этом не было свидетеля и она не была уличена,

13 And a man lies with her carnally and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband and the act is kept secret and she is defiled and there is no witness against her, neither is she caught in the act,

14 но ее мужем овладел дух подозрения: он не верит жене, ставшей нечистой, или, положим, заподозрит жену в неверности и будет ревновать ее, даже когда она не виновна,

14 And the temper of jealousy comes upon him and he be jealous of his wife and she is defiled; or if the temper of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous of his wife and she is not defiled,

15 тогда муж должен прийти с ней к священнику и принести за нее соответствующий дар — десятую часть эфы ячменной муки. Но нельзя лить на муку оливковое масло и ладана нельзя класть, ибо это хлебный дар, ревностью вызванный, хлебный дар-напоминание, беззаконие изобличающий.

15 Then the man shall bring his wife to the priest, and he shall bring as his offering a tenth part of an ephah of barley flour; and he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense upon it; for it is a meal offering of jealousy, a meal offering for a memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

16 Священник велит женщине подойти и предстать пред ГОСПОДОМ.

16 And the priest shall bring her near, and she shall stand before the LORD;

17 Зачерпнув священной воды в сосуд глиняный, священник возьмет горсть пыли с пола Скинии и бросит ее в тот сосуд.

17 And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and some of the dust that is in the base of the altar of the tabernacle the priest shall take and put it into the water;

18 Затем обнажит он голову женщины, поставленной им перед ГОСПОДОМ, и положит ей на ладони хлебный дар-напоминание, хлебный дар, ревностью вызванный. В руках у священника будет горькая вода, проклятие наводящая.

18 And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD and shave the woman's head and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering; and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water of testing;

19 Священник призовет женщину дать клятву, уверяя ее: „Если ты не спала с другим мужчиной и, оставаясь преданной мужу, не осквернялась, вода сия горькая, проклятие наводящая, не причинит тебе вреда.

19 And the priest shall charge the woman by an oath, and say to her, If no man has lain with you besides your husband, and if you have not done wrong and become unclean, be absolved from these charges by this bitter water of testing;

20 Но если предавалась разврату и нечистой стала, поскольку другой какой-то мужчина, кроме твоего мужа, спал с тобой, —

20 But if you have done wrong by having lain with another man besides your husband, and if you have defiled yourself, and some other man has lain with you besides your husband;

21 и здесь священник велит женщине поклясться, призывая на себя несчастья, и скажет ей: — Да сделает ГОСПОДЬ так, что от тебя отвернутся и проклинать тебя будут в народе твоем, когда чрево твое станет неспособным к зачатию, бесплодным.

21 Then the priest shall adjure the woman with the oaths of cursing, and the priest shall say to the woman, The LORD make you a curse and an oath among your people, when the LORD makes your thigh to rot and your belly to swell;

22 И эта вода, проклятие несущая, пусть теперь войдет в утробу твою и сделает чрево твое бесплодным, к зачатию неспособным“. А женщина должна будет сказать: „Аминь, да будет так“.

22 And this water of testing shall go into your belly and make your belly to swell and your thighs to rot; and the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

23 Священник напишет слова эти на свитке, а потом смоет их в горькую воду

23 And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot out the writing in the water of testing;

24 и напоит женщину этой горькой водой, проклятие несущей, чтобы эта вода вошла в нее и вызвала горькие страдания.

26 And the priest shall take some of the meal offering as the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall make the woman drink the water.

27 Напоит он ее водою, и если осквернилась она, изменила мужу своему, то вода, проклятие несущая, войдет в нее и принесет ей горечь: сделает чрево ее бесплодным, к зачатию неспособным, и вызовет отвращение к ней в народе ее.

27 And when he has made her drink the water, if she has defiled herself and has committed iniquity against her husband, the water of testing shall enter into her, and shall try her, and if her belly shall swell and her thighs shall rot, then that woman shall be a curse among her people.

28 Если же не осквернена женщина, если чиста она, то может пить эту воду безбоязненно: вреда ей не будет и зачинать она сможет.

28 But if the woman has not defiled herself, but is pure, then she shall be absolved, and shall bear a male child.

29 Таков закон о том, как следует поступать в случае ревности: что делать, когда женщина, будучи замужем, сбивается с пути и оскверняет себя

29 This is the law of jealousy when a woman does wrong by having lain with another man besides her husband and defiles herself,

30 или когда мужем овладевает чувство ревности, побуждающее его подозревать свою жену. Тогда он должен поставить ее перед ГОСПОДОМ, а священник обязан сделать всё, что по этому закону полагается.

30 Or when the temper of jealousy comes upon a man and he is jealous over his wife and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law;

31 Этим муж не навлечет на себя вины, а жена, если она виновата, должна будет ответить за грех свой».

31 Then the man shall be blameless from guilt, but the woman shall bear her iniquity.
