Глава 24

1 Моисею было сказано, чтобы он опять взошел на гору к ГОСПОДУ, взяв с собой Аарона, Надава, Авиуда и семьдесят старейшин Израиля; им дозволялось совершить свое поклонение лишь издали.

2 Приблизиться же к ГОСПОДУ мог лишь один Моисей, и никто иной кроме него; а народ не должен был подниматься с ним на гору.

3 Моисей пришел и передал народу все предписания ГОСПОДА и все указания Его. Народ отозвался единодушно: «Будем делать всё, что повелел ГОСПОДЬ».

4 Всё сказанное ГОСПОДОМ тогда же записал Моисей в Свитке Завета. Встав рано утром, воздвиг он у горы жертвенник и сложил рядом с ним двенадцать камней священных по числу колен Израилевых.

5 Потом велел он юношам израильским совершить всесожжения и заколоть быков, чтобы народ и левиты могли вместе пировать и принести ГОСПОДУ благодарственные жертвы.

6 Кровь животных Моисей собрал и половину ее слил в чаши для служб ритуальных, а остальной окропил жертвенник.

7 После того взял он Свиток Завета с только что сделанной записью и прочитал ее народу. «Всё, что повелел ГОСПОДЬ, будем исполнять и будем Ему послушны», — сказали израильтяне.

8 Окропил тогда Моисей народ кровью, что слита была в чаши, и сказал: «Это кровь Завета, того самого Союза, который заключил с вами ГОСПОДЬ согласно всем этим словам, в Свитке записанным».

9 Затем Моисей взошел на гору, взяв с собой Аарона, Надава, Авиуда и семьдесят старейшин Израиля.

10 И видели они образ Бога Израилева. Под ногами Его — нечто подобное мозаичному полу из сапфира, голубое и ясное, как само небо.

11 Бог не допустил гибели вождей народа израильского: они удостоились видеть Его образ и после совершенных жертвоприношений все вместе ели и пили.

12 И еще раз ГОСПОДЬ сказал Моисею: «Взойди ко Мне на гору и будь там. Я дам тебе скрижали каменные с Законом, с заповедями, кои Я написал для наставления народа Моего».

13 Вместе со служившим при нем Иисусом Моисей тотчас же отправился на гору Божию,

14 сказав старейшинам: «Ждите нас здесь у подножия Синая, пока не вернемся к вам. С вами останутся Аарон и Гур. Если надо кому решить дело какое, пусть обращается к ним».

15 Итак, Моисей поднялся на гору, и облако окутало ее.

16 Слава ГОСПОДНЯ пребывала на горе Синай, и шесть дней окутывало ее облако, а в седьмой — воззвал из него ГОСПОДЬ к Моисею.

17 Огню испепеляющему подобна была слава ГОСПОДНЯ на вершине горы — такой видели ее сыновья Израиля.

18 Моисей вошел прямо в облако, когда восходил на гору. Пробыл он там сорок дней и сорок ночей.

Chapter 24

1 AND he said to Moses, Come up to the LORD, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and you shall worship afar off.

2 And Moses alone shall come near the LORD; but they shall not draw near; neither shall the people come up with him.

3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, Everything which the LORD has said we will do.

4 And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the LORD.

6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it into basins; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

7 And he took the book of the covenant and read it in the presence of the people; and they said, All that the LORD has said we will obey and do.

8 And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people and said, This is the blood of the covenant which the LORD has made with you concerning all these words.

9 Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up;

10 And they saw the God of Israel; and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, clear as the color of the sky.

11 And he did not harm the elders of the children of Israel; and they saw God, and ate and drank.

12 And the LORD said to Moses, Come up to me to the mountain, and present yourself there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the laws and commandments which I have written; that you may teach them.

13 And Moses rose up and his minister Joshua; and Moses went up to the mountain of God.

14 And he said to the elders, You wait here for us until we return to you; and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you; whoever has a problem, let him come to them.

15 And Moses went up to the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain.

16 And the glory of the LORD rested upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days; and on the seventh day the LORD called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

17 And in the sight of all the children of Israel he saw the glory of the LORD like a burning fire on the top of the mountain.

18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up to the mountain; and Moses was in the mountain forty days and forty nights.

2 Приблизиться же к ГОСПОДУ мог лишь один Моисей, и никто иной кроме него; а народ не должен был подниматься с ним на гору.	2 And Moses alone shall come near the LORD; but they shall not draw near; neither shall the people come up with him.
3 Моисей пришел и передал народу все предписания ГОСПОДА и все указания Его. Народ отозвался единодушно: «Будем делать всё, что повелел ГОСПОДЬ».	3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, Everything which the LORD has said we will do.
4 Всё сказанное ГОСПОДОМ тогда же записал Моисей в Свитке Завета. Встав рано утром, воздвиг он у горы жертвенник и сложил рядом с ним двенадцать камней священных по числу колен Израилевых.	4 And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
5 Потом велел он юношам израильским совершить всесожжения и заколоть быков, чтобы народ и левиты могли вместе пировать и принести ГОСПОДУ благодарственные жертвы.	5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the LORD.
6 Кровь животных Моисей собрал и половину ее слил в чаши для служб ритуальных, а остальной окропил жертвенник.	6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it into basins; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
7 После того взял он Свиток Завета с только что сделанной записью и прочитал ее народу. «Всё, что повелел ГОСПОДЬ, будем исполнять и будем Ему послушны», — сказали израильтяне.	7 And he took the book of the covenant and read it in the presence of the people; and they said, All that the LORD has said we will obey and do.
8 Окропил тогда Моисей народ кровью, что слита была в чаши, и сказал: «Это кровь Завета, того самого Союза, который заключил с вами ГОСПОДЬ согласно всем этим словам, в Свитке записанным».	8 And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people and said, This is the blood of the covenant which the LORD has made with you concerning all these words.
9 Затем Моисей взошел на гору, взяв с собой Аарона, Надава, Авиуда и семьдесят старейшин Израиля.	9 Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up;
10 И видели они образ Бога Израилева. Под ногами Его — нечто подобное мозаичному полу из сапфира, голубое и ясное, как само небо.	10 And they saw the God of Israel; and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, clear as the color of the sky.
11 Бог не допустил гибели вождей народа израильского: они удостоились видеть Его образ и после совершенных жертвоприношений все вместе ели и пили.	11 And he did not harm the elders of the children of Israel; and they saw God, and ate and drank.
12 И еще раз ГОСПОДЬ сказал Моисею: «Взойди ко Мне на гору и будь там. Я дам тебе скрижали каменные с Законом, с заповедями, кои Я написал для наставления народа Моего».	12 And the LORD said to Moses, Come up to me to the mountain, and present yourself there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the laws and commandments which I have written; that you may teach them.
13 Вместе со служившим при нем Иисусом Моисей тотчас же отправился на гору Божию,	13 And Moses rose up and his minister Joshua; and Moses went up to the mountain of God.
14 сказав старейшинам: «Ждите нас здесь у подножия Синая, пока не вернемся к вам. С вами останутся Аарон и Гур. Если надо кому решить дело какое, пусть обращается к ним».	14 And he said to the elders, You wait here for us until we return to you; and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you; whoever has a problem, let him come to them.
15 Итак, Моисей поднялся на гору, и облако окутало ее.	15 And Moses went up to the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain.
16 Слава ГОСПОДНЯ пребывала на горе Синай, и шесть дней окутывало ее облако, а в седьмой — воззвал из него ГОСПОДЬ к Моисею.	16 And the glory of the LORD rested upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days; and on the seventh day the LORD called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
17 Огню испепеляющему подобна была слава ГОСПОДНЯ на вершине горы — такой видели ее сыновья Израиля.	17 And in the sight of all the children of Israel he saw the glory of the LORD like a burning fire on the top of the mountain.
18 Моисей вошел прямо в облако, когда восходил на гору. Пробыл он там сорок дней и сорок ночей.	18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up to the mountain; and Moses was in the mountain forty days and forty nights.
